    If you have PlayStation Plus, this game is a no-brainer, as it's free right now. For everyone else, it's not a must-buy at its $22 asking price (least on Steam).

    The game itself controls relatively well, though with a few bits here and there that break the intense gameplay. The ball spends way too much time hanging in the air, especially when flying up the walls and corners. It also    If you have PlayStation Plus, this game is a no-brainer, as it's free right now.     The game itself controls relatively well, though with a few bits here and there that break the intense gameplay. The ball spends way too much time hanging in the air, especially when flying up the walls and corners. It also doesn't help that the "Ball Cam" is not exactly the most reliable angle to get you into the right position when the ball is high in the air.

    The AI in the game can be pretty brutal at times for those playing offline. Your teammates will often get in your way, they love to hit the ball to the side when you had a straight shot at the goal. They are coin-tosses to how well they play, one minute they make a spectacular save or shot to score a goal, the next they take the ball for the opposing side and direct it all the way into their own net. Would suggest playing on Rookie only when first learning the game, after 2-3 games switch to Pro as you can score way too easily off the center line.

    I can't say much for online just yet, the servers have not been working for me since I got the game today, which is a downer for a game that clearly has potential to have some staying power, perhaps even a small amount of players to create some sort of an e-sports scene. It does have the right mixture of video gaming wrapped in a sports bubble, it can definitely attract attention beyond the typical e-sports crowd that would normally watch Starcraft or LoL/DOTA.

    At this point in time, unless you can get it free off of PS Plus, I'd wait for the game to drop in price a little bit, I can't say I would happily pay $20 for this given its current state. But if you're really interested in a soccer game played with cars instead of human players, this is a very solid effort at creating just that.    … Expand

    Rocket League is good. The game mechanics are superb and the controls are fluid. I enjoyed playing a few matches of this game, and this is a game I go back to from time to time and have fun with, but the subject matter isn't something that interests me as much. Not being a fan of racing/car games or soccer this game did a lot even getting me to try it out, and I am glad for all the time IRocket League is good.     Seriously guys? The amount 10's and 9's for this game are astounding, Ok the game was free on the PSN which was great and I admit I had fun with it for about two days, works best 2 v 2, single player is just too random for me. I seem to be in the minority here when I say this game was fun for a short period without being considered "one of the best PS4 games ever" if they added moreSeriously guys?     The fact that this game is cross plattform is the only reason i like it. If you like cars its mediocre, if you like soccer its a disaster. But if you like fast paced games where you can fool around with your friends its a blast.

    This is an good (not great) game, the multiplayer and the other game modes are simply fun. The graphics and visuals are very colorful. I question the super-hard difficulty (even in Easy mode.) The Sweet Tooth cameo is awesome, I truly hope for more cameos for DLC. The controls are a bit complex and sometimes clunky. The gameplay is mostly inspired by FIFA, except you control one character,This is an good (not great) game, the multiplayer and the other game modes are simply fun.     Like I said, the difficulty problem is the biggest con of this truly fun game. I played one full match with the CPU, the others, I raged quit. I truly loved the online experience. I played a hundred matches on launch day.

    This game is a 10/10 on all fronts except online. They had an Alpha and a Beta and still couldn't get the launch right. Online play is on of the best parts of the game, and it doesn't work. Until then, the game gets the 5/10 it deserves.

    The most addictive and entertaining game you will play on a ps4. The games are the perfect length and the action is engaging. Easy game to learn but difficult to master - welcoming to beginners but always room to improve your game. Hands down the most all around FUN game available for the console.

    Two reasons i played this game were 1. Free, 2. Easy Platinum. The game is visually appealing and so colorful but when you take the control, its not that much entertaining. It features some pretty interesting customization that aren't available in many sports games out there. Main thing i disliked about this game is gameplay mechanics.     Rocket League is a great game at its core, but the lack of a free camera mode and the crappy matchmaking system take away a lot of the fun. You get matched against pre-made parties that are a lot stronger than your own team all the time.

    Not a fan of car games, footbal avoider. This is mix of those two categories plus like online shooter, another genre i mostly avoid. Maybe very good game but not for me.

    For anyone reading this, the game is very flawed and not fun anymore in season 6 , let me tell you why. The matchmaking sucks this season , im not a good player BUT I ALWAYS GET PUT WITH THE WORST TEAMMATES. Im a teamplayer , i never complained last seasons. But this season the teammates are ass while some opponents play like they belong ranks higher than me.     This game has completely broken balance, controls and physics. This is a geek vs geek game, no matter how many players there are in the team it only enough to be a PRO to score 10+ goals. Every PRO player has standart skin of the car, they all have. I guess it has some sense.

    Pro: Fun idea, you can say everything on chat and no one ban you, customization, fun to play with friends enjoyable when matchmaking is balanced
    Cons: Unbalanced matchmaking, bad fps drop for 5 sec when you join an already started match, you can't obtain some key without real money (exept Christmas event 5 key max) people afk on the start just for write "Trade" , toxic community

    Es un juego increíble, la mejor opción para pasar un buen rato con amigos. A pesar de ello, tiene un matchmaking nefasto y una comunidad llena de inmaduros, haciendo que al tiempo de jugar sólo o en competitivo quieras irte a otro o apagar la play.

    Bought it because it was so popular. I didn't enjoy it as much as I found the control is a bit difficult to master. I got easily disoriented and most of the time not even sure where I am.

    It's alright. Fun game to play with friends but nothing spectacular. You can kill a few hours playing it and having some fun but all-in-all I think it's a forgettable game. Not bad by any means though.

Just I mentioned, I'm not a fan of sports games and a 7 is pretty much the higher I can rate a game within the genre due to its repetitive nature and lack of campaign mode. It is also true that I really sucked at this game and the community can be pretty toxic at times.

    Basically, do you want a worth-while experience that blends racing and sports perfectly and deliver some tense PvP moments? Definitely give this one a try. The learning curve to master it might be steep but if you're patient you might become addicted to it.    … Expand

    For all the competitors, it's a great hybrid of soccer and racing game. Simple idea, clear rules, beautiful visuals. Great to play with friends

    Game is interesting and good,but the ranking system is bad.Its based on wins and if you get paired with bad teammates it will be your fault you couldnt win and you will be ranked down.It happens a bit too often to not be a problem.

    It's a blast to play and it only gets better as skills improve over time and as the competition ramps up. It's a game that everyone, whether they’re big into sports video games or just can’t seem to get into them, will really enjoy.

    I have no problem saying that this is the best and most original sports game I have played since at least FIFA 12. It mixes all the best elements of sports and online multiplayer games into one in an affordable and seamless experience that looks awesome in YouTube videos as well.
