    Rocket League is one of the funniest most entertaining games I have played in my years of gaming. At its heart it is football with cars that fly and yes it is true but this game has one of the biggest skill gaps of any game out now.     This game has a lot of effort put forth into this game in a well-done manner, to the point where this game can be as addictive as Fort-Nite; making this game to be one of many that's easy to pick up and play but hard to master. A combination of soccer, destruction derby, Mario Kart (Rumble Only), and other games related towards flying air crafts, resulting in a fun and enjoyable game toThis game has a lot of effort put forth into this game in a well-done manner, to the point where this game can be as addictive as Fort-Nite; making this game to be one of many that's easy to pick up and play but hard to master. A combination of soccer, destruction derby, Mario Kart (Rumble Only), and other games related towards flying air crafts, resulting in a fun and enjoyable game to have fun with friends.

    All those pros will also come with some cons however. This game did start having a diversity of unique maps to play on early in the game's active life cycle, starting in Season 1 as of late, until roughly around Season 4, where they're removed entirely for moral reasons from competitive players. This results in the casual players to get bored more easily. There used to be micro-transactions in this game for a while, until fairly recently upon the re-reviewing of this game, which has been removed by the looks of things on Season 10, which is a good thing to keep the game healthy for the players. Another con to this game is, sadly, the toxicity of the game's community as a whole; as it's mixed of both positive and negative aspects, throughout my 3.7 years playing this game, which ends up being more negative than positive. Personally, I just hopefully in the future, PsyOnix should take the toxicity in their community very seriously, later going forward.

    Overall, a fun game to play either locally or in online, just try and get used to getting cursed on by over-competitive players out there. But personally, this game has a lot more potential in its plate, than it currently is using. If they were to let loose all of its limitations, then this game would be in a much better position than where it is at now.

    It's alright. Fun game to play with friends but nothing spectacular. You can kill a few hours playing it and having some fun but all-in-all I think it's a forgettable game. Not bad by any means though.

But sometimes the game has some problems. First, imbalanced online games. I understand that I'm not so good at this game but I played around 50 games and I've won only 20% of the games.     Played close to 100 hours total. Whether you're playing single player or the online modes RL never disapoints. The run and gun style of the automotive soccer is enthralling and never overstays its welcome with the 5 minute match timer. I cannot say enough about how phenomenal this game is. The sound and presentation is A1 and even years after the games release there is still a goodPlayed close to 100 hours total.     This game has completely broken balance, controls and physics. This is a geek vs geek game, no matter how many players there are in the team it only enough to be a PRO to score 10+ goals. Every PRO player has standart skin of the car, they all have. I guess it has some sense.

    Fantastic graphics, great sound, amazing strategic part, incredible gameplay, vast customization options, rewarding items. Easy to pick up, hard to master. This is simply one of the best games for the PS4.

    I've been playing this game for three and a half years now and it still draws me back almost daily. The gameplay is fluid, easy to learn but difficult to master. It's one of the few online multiplayer games where I don't get overly frustrated. This is probably due to the excellent matchmaking.     One of the most fun games I've played in a while. Tight and fun game-play, nice visuals,plenty of content, and pretty cheap. Online issues do sometimes plague it, but it's still fantastic.

    Simple games are often the most effective and this is the case with RL. Although easy to pick up and play there is huge depth in the mechanics and you are always learning something as you go. Never gets old to pull off a tricky aerial goal or a last ditch save. Tremendous stuff.

    There's not much to say other than that Rocket League is one of the best titles on the PS4, and still holds a relatively large player base 3 years after release. I mean, I have a tendency to lag a lot, but that can easily be justified by lack of any kind of good internet connection.
    Basically, football+cars=amazing.

    Fast, Chaotic, Challenging - excellent controls - great video quality. We got a new PS4 Pro and bought about 6 games. The other games are collecting dust. Rocket League is my "go to" game. ADDICTIVE!

    Can't say enough good things about this game. If their is any criticism........sometimes their servers run a little slow and sometimes I get matched with players WAY better than me. (but, it's a good way to learn and I have gotten better by copying better players)
    I started gaming on an Atari 2600 (when they were new) and have been a casual gamer my entire life. Rocket League is hands down, the most immersive, challenging, frustrating and rewarding game I have ever played. In over 30 years of gaming, the ONLY game that has kept me up until dawn. Love it!
    AND........the only video game that has ever made me sweat.....the only vide game that has ever made me jump out of my seat an yell in celebration.    … Expand

    I've had a good think about this and I think this may be my favourite game of all time, on any system. I mean, I've had it over 2 years now and I'm still addicted to it, as are my mates who I play it with. Everyone's seen it by now so no point breaking down the score.

    I originally had this game reviewed at a 4 out of ten, due to its terrible physics, bad connections, and bad community, but since the latest update, it has become nearly unplayable. Simply due to the physics They've somehow made is worse, with the ball or puck bouncing like a bat out of hell anytime two players touch the ball. I haven't had a fun game for a while now because of it, so I'veI originally had this game reviewed at a 4 out of ten, due to its terrible physics, bad connections, and bad community, but since the latest update, it has become nearly unplayable.     Pure fun and very competitive. Get yourself a good connection and battle it out with the best physics based, rocket fueled, mid-air tipping, demolition causing, boost addicted game in ... well .. ever. Still having a blast with this one in competitive match making and will continue to as long as it scratches that lawless battle ball itch. One of my favorite games of all time.

    Never before have I seen a game that somehow requires impeccable skill and no skill whatsoever at the same time. Rocket League is such a fun game both with or without friends. So simple, yet so effective. This addictive ‘sports’ game is pure genius.

    Simply, I'll put it this way: I play at least 1 match, since release, every time I turn on my PS4. Its a joy to play a match once you get some skills. Every single match is unique. I think I will keep playing this game in the ps5.

    This is a really good game. To see more detail, look at my rating on the Xbox One version of this game. I'm just typing the rest of this to take up 150 or more characters so I can submit this. But again, this is a great game, and I'd highly recommend it for any system it's on or comes to.

    Was hesitant buying it since I'm an avid Fifa player and didn't want to mix between them but I'm glad I bought this game! I was having so much fun and played for an hour. Not as frustrating and pressured as Fifa and you can have a lot more fun especially if you team up with friends. Great Game!

    This game is Amazing, simple at the start but get very deep as you learn. there isalways somewhere you can improve. It has a cult like following and the skill ceiling is massive. Im around 600 hours into the game and am just barely hitting the tip of the iceberg in skill. The possiblities of this game are limitless nothing seperating you and you're opponent ecept skill.

    Even for people like me who don't normally play sports, or racing games, this is a perfect combination of both. Football with little cars basically, but it's just FUN. Pure joy from the most important thing in games - the actual gameplay. It's fluid, well-produced, still entertaining even after months of playing... I love Rocket League. 9/10

    By far one of the BEST PlayStation 4 games currently out. I got it for free in 2015 thanks for PlayStation Plus and have loved it ever since. Never gets boring and constant free updates to keep the game enjoyable.

    Incredible game. What's not to love. Fast paced football meets racer. Controls are great, great co-op, great multiplayer and the trophies are easy to pick up if you are a trophy hunter. You'll pick up most trophies after a week of intense playing without even realising. And you won't realise because you'll just be having so much fun. If you have a PS4 buy this game

    I can't put this game down. It's my go-to when I turn on the PS4. A little tricky to pickup at first but hundreds of hours later I'm still at it and only getting better. This isn't done with earning fancy perks or tricks, it's done with endlessly tweaking your game style and learning more about the tiniest nuances of its game play.

The controls are hard to get used to and control, but once you get the hang of it, your good. The customization for your cars, are fun to unlock. Although you might find yourself raging at your sometimes stupid teammates that are really bad at the game.

You drive an RC car capable of double jumping and using boost. Easy! Enter other players. OK WHAT NEXT? Two goals, a ball. Holy crap, let's fuc*ing do this ladies gentleman. 2v2 tends to be the populous favorite, and I'm right there with everyone. It's less dopey than having higher player counts, and not as pointless as 1v1. But hey, you've seen the reviews, you get the point, so here are the gripes - what needs to change.

    Maps get old fast, though this is hard to complain about after Pysonix introduced Rocket Labs - a mode where experimental arenas with crazy angles and ramps are used. I think this needs to be available for 2v2 play.

    The 'Quick Messages' need an update. They are cheesy, its why a fraction of them are actually used. Though, It IS kind of enjoyable how upsetting it can be when someone spams "No Problem. No Problem. No Problem." After scoring a shot. Still, less cheese, more eggs.

    RANKED. Time after time, fantastic players are teamed up with the worst of the worst. I'm not gonna try and explain how to solve network sorting, because I don't know how. But really. Players who do bad should not be put in a ranked match with players who are very competitive. I even (often) see people with high ranks play while intoxicated or high, and who wouldn't want to - just keep players who play poorly out of playing with me in a RANKED match.

    That's it. Those are the gripes that matter to me. For the future, I hope Pysonix offers us more vehicle customization, soundtracks with more than three decent songs, and MAYBE JUST MAYBE BABY some kind of perk system for your vehicle. Just to try it out. I'm not a fan of over complicating and breaking something that works, but I think a subtle booster of your choice could potentially up the strategics. Maybe you can't ever get demolished. Maybe your boost works slightly better. Maybe your can activate extra gravity so your vehicle falls to the ground faster

It takes a lot of skill and practice and if you have buddies who also play, the matches are really fun and challenging. The aesthetics are also very nice and people can definitely have their own style on their cars.

    This game is a masterpiece. I adore it! Playing online with mates brings the most laughs and screams I've had in a game. All they need to add now is something like celebrations for when you score. I have bought all dlc's and they deserve all my money considering I got this for FREE in July! It is a must buy no matter the price.

    It's a blast to play and it only gets better as skills improve over time and as the competition ramps up. It's a game that everyone, whether they’re big into sports video games or just can’t seem to get into them, will really enjoy.

    I have no problem saying that this is the best and most original sports game I have played since at least FIFA 12. It mixes all the best elements of sports and online multiplayer games into one in an affordable and seamless experience that looks awesome in YouTube videos as well.
