    With ultra-realistic graphics, the game feels amazing and achieves its purpose perfectly.

    Must play, the experience is incredible, with everything from survival horror, mixed great with action game elements, thus immersing you perfectly in the adventure presented.

    A nice blend of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 4. The game is less scary than its predecessor and more action-packed. Surprisingly, it features an expansive map that is littered with side-missions, hidden pathways and loot. At certain times, I was reminded of Far Cry 3 and Bioshock Infinite. The campaign can last past 12 hours. It is very good, if not quite up to the greatness of RE 7.A nice blend of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 4. The game is less scary than its predecessor and more action-packed. Surprisingly, it features an expansive map that is littered with side-missions, hidden pathways and loot. At certain times, I was reminded of Far Cry 3 and Bioshock Infinite. The campaign can last past 12 hours. It is very good, if not quite up to the greatness of RE 7. PS4 owners should be pleased with the game's performance. Graphics and framerate hold up very well. In terms of story, I found it to be good, if not great.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A história é ambientada em uma cidade do leste europeu, contando a saga de Ethan Winters, depois do ocorrido na residência dos Bakers. Passado alguns anos após o incidente, Ethan está com Mia e sua filha Rose, tentando seguir a vida e superar os traumas do passado. No começo do jogo, Chris Redfield invade sua casa matando Mia e levando Rose e Ethan. Após um incidente no transporte dos dois, Ethan acorda e não sabe onde está sua filha. Daí começa sua jornada em um vilarejo hostil, com diversas criaturas folclóricas como lobisomens, vampiros e bruxas... No decorrer da história, fica claro que tais criaturas eram seres humanos que foram expostos ao Cadou, parasita geneticamente modificado que foi exposto ao Mofo. A vila possui uma espécie de anciã/profetisa, conhecida como Mãe Miranda e esta possui quatro Lordes, Alcina Dimitrescu, Donna Benneviento, Salvatore Moreau e Karl Heisenberg. O jogo tem ambientes abertos e fechados, trazendo um realismo casuístico à experiência, já que Ethan já tem as experiências passadas e não é tão indefeso como no jogo anterior. No modo padrão, não é um jogo difícil, então recomendo o modo Intenso para aqueles que já estão habituados com a saga. Nesse modo, a experiência se torna bastante desafiadora. Os gráficos estão excelentes, a jogabilidade é incrível e possui uma boa diversidade de armas, o que pode tornar a gameplay interessante. Para os amantes de Resident Evil 4, o Village possui muitas referências e o intuito da Capcom era justamente trazer a nostalgia desse clássico e preparar o público para o Remake que será lançado em 2023. Não acho que o jogo possui muita ação, pois em diversos momentos há partes de sobrevivência e terror, principalmente na casa Benneviento, que por sinal é o ponto mais alto do jogo. Tem uma quantidade boa de puzzles e de colecionáveis. Destaque para a atuação da atriz que deu vida para a personagem Alcina Dimitrescu, que a tornou um ícone da série. It's a perfect summation of everything that works about Resident Evil as a series. It tweaks and embraces these elements, all packed into one efficient, engrossing and utterly horrifying set of challenges. ResidentThis game embodies everything a Resident Evil fan like me wants.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A fantastic direct sequel to a fantastic game! RE7 was the first Resident Evil game I played, and the game that got me into the series. So, I was naturally incredibly excited about this game. I loved the look, the monsters, the bits of lore we were given, and how tense the trailers made the game appear.

    I was not disappointed, if anything, my expectations were greatly exceeded. This game's graphics can be downright gorgeous and fascinating, and also gory and gritty. The story, while it may have its issues, still keeps me hooked and emotional. Yes, the father saving his daughter trope is nothing new, but something about this game's overall atmosphere helps make it feel more intense this time around. Next, the horror in this game is well-done. Sure, it's not as much of a slow-burn as RE7 but I'm honestly okay with that. I like the slow horror of RE7 but I also like the Psychological Thriller feel that this game has. The Beneviento segment in particular is one of the scariest in gaming and has stuck with me almost a full year after I played it. This game isn't without its faults, my biggest critique is the pacing of some of the areas. While I love all the areas for different reasons, some are very long such as Dimitrescu's castle, and others are very short like Moreau's area. This is my biggest critique of the game and is the only thing that drags the game down some.

    Overall, I think this is a fantastic horror game and a great sequel to RE7. It isn't without its faults, but it has some very high highs, like the amazing graphics, intriguing (albeit slightly cliche) story, great horror, amazing enemy designs, and areas that are beautiful and gritty but vary too much lengthwise. I'm excited for this game's future DLC and the future Resident Evil games as a whole.    … Expand

    Improves upon 7 interms of gameplay and mechanics and the star of the show for me is the setting and larger open areas making for fun exploration and different typical approaches to the game.
    Only gripe is a very goofy story even for a resident evil game. Doesn't takeaway from the experience however as the boss battles felt    Resident Evil 8 feels like a good blend of tension and action.

While the game has a really brilliant plot plentifully stuffed with amazing, unpredictable twists and gorgeous story, it has almost nothing in common with its claimed survival horror genre. While the previous entryResident Evil Village is a frustratingly short, visually impressive (truly beautiful, actually) narrative-driven sequel to the notably frightening Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. While the game has a really brilliant plot plentifully stuffed with amazing, unpredictable twists and gorgeous story, it has almost nothing in common with its claimed survival horror genre. While the previous entry was so scary some players might haven’t finished it, Village is more of just a good action-adventure game successfully combining puzzles and shooter elements. The only horror episode is only 20–25 minutes long, though yes, it’s actually terrifying. However, albeit the game lacks direct horror encounters, the atmosphere is made almost perfectly, successfully reflecting the nature of the place you have to make a deep dive into, granting the game with a special, a bit sinister vibe. Nevertheless, the Village is also the game’s disadvantage, as it utilizes open-world-style mechanics without being immersive enough. There are no really interesting side activities in the Village, so use of free-roam is quite questionable. The other questionable move is the decision to restrict the player’s inventory capacity, generally used in full-scale RPGs. The further the game progresses the more this mechanic irritates, without actually making it harder, rather just more boring. Given Village significant reliance on shooter elements, it’s a major, yet the only real disadvantage of the gameplay. Besides the gameplay, the game has an incredible soundtrack, perhaps one of the best of the year in the entire industry, which fits its atmosphere perfectly. Village is surprisingly stunning visually on PS4 Slim hardware and runs very smoothly throughout the entire playthrough, continuously maintaining comfortable framerate.… Expand

    Picks right up where VII left off and is slightly less creepy, but just as scary. I'm not a fan of first person shooters - I just feel lost in space- but this is probably the best I've played action/control wise. Also, its atmospheric, occasionally grotesgue and messed up, and always scary.     The direction with Village is clearly different compared to its predecessor Biohazard, there is more focus on action as the game gives us more ammo drops and a guard mechanic to help with the combat, but this isn't to say that there aren't scary sequences in the game. Unfortunately, these tend to be jumpscares but it is because of this unknown that adds to the horror of the game.

    Мне, кстати, понравилась предыдущая часть игры, так вот Village это всё лучшее, что было в семёрке. Плюс разработчики исправили всё то, что не понравилось лично мне в приквеле. И добавили кое что новое. И так главное! Игра просто великолепная!

    Сюжет гармоничный и хорошо вплетён в канву серии. Это прямой сиквел седьмой части, что честно говоря удивительно. Так как я не помню такого в прошлых частях. В игре досказана история семьи Мии и Итана Уинтерсов.
    Антагонисты в игре просто великолепные: леди Димитреску с дочерьми, "магнето" Гейзенберг, водяной мутант Моро, Беневиенто с куклой Энджи и матерь Миранда. Плюс к этому несколько мини боссов, которые есть почти у всех видов монстров. При этом простые противники вместо однообразных плесневиков из предыдущей части, превратились во всяких оборотней, зомби громил и мороайек, летающих вальномий, волколаков, несколько видов киборгов и т. д. Короче бестиарием очень доволен.
    На PS4 игра выглядит лучше приквела. Очень стильно. Так же плюс в том, что теперь игра проходится на открытых просторах не меньше чем во всяких замкнутых пространствах. Поэтому виды, в отличии от той же семёрки, просто феерические. Короче красота.
    Геймплей практически не поменялся, но стрелять, как мне кажется, стало удобнее и это хорошо. Наконец свершилось чудо, они улучшили рюкзак протагониста. Теперь в нем только "готовые изделия": оружие, патроны, лечилки, гранаты. Для всяких ингредиентов: травы, пороха, всякой химии, есть своё меню (безграничное). Так же сюжетные предметы и сокровища места в инвентаре не занимают. Поэтому больше никаких сундуков и ежеминутных забегов до безопасной комнаты, что бы положить или взять какой либо предмет. Более объёмный рюкзак тоже искать не надо, он продаётся у местного ОГРОМНОГО барыги. При этом у него так же можно прокачивать оружие (как же мне не хватало этого в семёрке) и самого персонажа, скармливая оному разные блюда из местной фауны.
    Что касается атмосферы, она здесь в стратосфере! Просто очень трудно из неё выйти. Она просто затягивает с головой. Игра меня один раз даже напугала. Отдельная радость, игра имеет полностью русскую озвучку, чего мне очень не хватало в семёрке.
    Даже Крис Редфилд стал похож на себя. Етить колотить, ещё и сохранения стали намного удобнее.
    Просто не знаю, что ещё можно добавить? Ах, да! Протагонистом девятой части, думаю, будет женщина.
    Короче всем кому понравилась Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, проходить в обязательном порядке! А кто пропустил.........? Пройти две последние игры по очереди.
    Сегодня в моём игровом рейтинге Resident Evil 4 наконец уступила первое место в данной вселенной. Resident Evil Village новый чемпион!    … Expand

    Capcom you are incredible, this game has become a real discovery. Delight did not leave throughout the passage. The way they worked on the village is worthy of applause. A true child's delight, involvement in the gameplay, a real gift for everyone who appreciates single-player story games. Respect, it was very cool !

    Я просто поражаюсь тому, какую работу проделали Capcom! Я понимаю небольшие огрехи (например в некоторых моментах я прям видел как текстура меняла качество прорисовки несколько раз) и всё такое... Но игра, выглядящая так красиво и идущая в стабильных 50+ кадров... Ребят, это показатель, что кто-то просто ленится. (у меня телевизор 50гц, всё шло идеально плавно, потому что он показываетЯ просто поражаюсь тому, какую работу проделали Capcom!     Jogabilidade mais refinada que o 7 Graficos bastante melhorados, realmente a re engine faz milagres. Inimigos bastante mais variados e perigosos Excelente equilíbrio entre ação / sobrevivência e terror. Este resident evil é uma obra prima!!     Melhor Jogo de terror da Geração PS4/XBOXONE!
    O trabalho da Capcom dessa vez me surpreendeu. Não só trouxe um trabalho impecável em questão de gráficos, história, trilha sonora e personagens, mas surpreendeu também com a dublagem do jogo que é coisa nova na franquia (pelo menos aqui no Brasil). Meu jogo favorito atualmente dos lançamentos de 2021.

    Resident Evil Village is a far cry from its more grounded and horror-focused predecessor, but in the end, it’s perhaps just as lovable. At times it feels like a greatest hits collection of some of the best elements of previous Resident Evil games, and while that leads to it not being wholly coherent, it’s not to its detriment. It may not be perfect in terms of combat mechanics and storytelling, but Resident Evil Village keeps you on your toes, with you never truly knowing what’s waiting for you around the next corner. And that’s why when playing it, the hours simply fly by. Will the series ever become stale? Not while it’s being as inventive as this, that’s for sure.

    In the end, Resident Evil Village is not a perfect experience but it is still an awesome one and easily the best of the recent games in the series. It's scary, suspenseful, grounded in relatable human drama, and an overall blast to play; I highly recommend giving it a shot.
