Видно доверие студии капком к тестировщикам, которые держали геймпад впервые, как мамину соску при рождении- оказалось слишком доверчивым. Так и дальше на протяжении игры, по сути нечего и выделить, кроме атмосферы, которая рождается из визуала.     I am a huge fan of resident evil series, and I have played most of its games, amazing ones, great ones, and some terrible ones. Unfortunately Resident evil village as it stands, its pretty much unplayable on PS4(standard ps4). The framerate is so bad, together with the FOV and camera bobbing(we did turn that one off, thankfully) makes us motionsick (and we are used to play VR games with noI am a huge fan of resident evil series, and I have played most of its games, amazing ones, great ones, and some terrible ones. Unfortunately Resident evil village as it stands, its pretty much unplayable on PS4(standard ps4). Just spin the camera around and youl'll see what I mean. This is a shame but I can't give the game an higher score as I'm not sure if I can keep playing It in these conditions.

    Aside the poor optimization of the game, so far I'm also not impressed with the villains of this game. Plain day light werewolves, that as my wife puts it, look like guys out of magic mike with make up on. The whole thing feels like the werewolves from twilight have been ported into this game. There's also the bad/buggy animation on them, sliding all over the place, poor enemy ai rotation, and the list goes on.

    This is a shame. I spend 200 dollars on the collector edition for this. Im really hope capcom can patch this thing (obviously the performance, as I'm sure they wont spend resources changing the visuals/design of the game) .because as it is its not an enjoyable experience.    … Expand

    garbage nobody cares go back to resident evil 2 and 3 capcom do it like resident evil 1 cause they are not good you shouldn't have to reimagine them they suck

    I assure you I'm not trolling: I just found RE8 to be that uninspired. It may seem insane that this much potential was squandered, but indeed at every turn this game trades any amount of tension or just storytelling to shove a scripted attempt at shocking the player.

    It is exceedingly unwelcome and overstated from beginning to end, and I just wish the developers had seen fit to provide    I assure you I'm not trolling: I just found RE8 to be that uninspired. It may seem insane that this much potential was squandered, but indeed at every turn this game trades any amount of tension or just storytelling to shove a scripted attempt at shocking the player.

    It is exceedingly unwelcome and overstated from beginning to end, and I just wish the developers had seen fit to provide some quiet, thoughtful moments instead of drowning the experience with fluff. I'm okay with the series evolving, but a game needs to be engaging on a moment-to-moment basis.    … Expand

    This game is a real mess, an identity crisis not seen since the dark days of the franchise (RE5/RE6). The terrifying molded which were reminiscent of regenerators, are replaced with witches, werewolves and vampires, in what can only be described as a strong Bloodborne rip off. One antagonist (named Heisenberg for some reason) is literally Gerhman from the hunters dream.     they put vampires in a resident evil game. let that sink in. this game is what's wrong with the series direction and its no longer resident evil. this FRANCHISE NEEDS TO BE REBOOTED.

    This game shouldnt be called RE at all wtf was that intro? Story line is a Mess vampires,werwolf, Witches.... Jesús if u dont have the creativity for more RE games just dont do it. The only good thing about this games is vampire big ****

It’s like they never had a bird’s-eye view of the entire project to see those issues resulting in such mess.

    Since the game doesn’t have a single distinct villain, they tried to compensate the lack of villain quality with quantity, offering instead a bunch of potential bosses that look and sound extremely contrived and monotonous in their lines and unrealistic in all aspects. The protagonist too seems underdeveloped, and, although we had seen Ethan before in absolutely fantastic RE 7, after playing the Village for over 3 hours, I still couldn’t project myself in his shoes and care, no matter how hard I tried. The writing is very bad and lacks any hook. In RE 7 even the ordinary minions were so specifically designed, fighting them was suspenseful fun, and now we came all this way to the Village just to shoot a bunch of classic zombie-resembling freaks? Wake up, Capcom! We’ve grown bored of it, where is your imagination? Again, I want to highlight that this game lacks any visual and narrative originality.

    You will be surprised how inferior it is to its predecessor, and on top of everything they didn’t add a VR mode either. Now I can see why the developers after all made the game PS4-compatible. Had the Village been released for next-gen consoles only, it could’ve end up being a catastrophic failure.

    In conclusion, I bought this at 40-something-percent discount and still want my money back. I’d feel disappointed even if it came 100% free. This is definitely not what a good game looks like.    … Expand

    Semi-automatic..... triggers... aiming.... can Capcom figure out how guns work, please? This gameplay is atrocious when your semi automatic weapon has a 3.2 second cooldown per shot. It's no fun. Wtf were they thinking. Coulda been great. Resident evil is dead.

    The game looks great... And that's all it has going for it... The story is full of plot holes and makes zero sense, character motivations are downright idiotic and it plays wonky as hell for such a high production value game.
    Honestly, they could invrst a bit more in writers to make it make some sense.
    ... It's so sad to see yhem try to squeeze this IP with such crappy games

    Me decepciona que Capcom intente vender un videojuego en inglés y sin doblaje latino en pleno año 2021, y no sé si ganará al juego del año pero ni así lo voy a recomendar.

    Ya cuando vi que iba a ver un doblaje/traducción en el portugués de los brasileños ya es el colmo de colmos, una burla. Y los demás latinoamericanos (incluyendo youtubers), sumisos diciendo gracias, está claro que    Me decepciona que Capcom intente vender un videojuego en inglés y sin doblaje latino en pleno año 2021, y no sé si ganará al juego del año pero ni así lo voy a recomendar.

    Another R.E. game, another frustrating experience. Thankfully it was a rental...
    Couldn't figure out what to do, pulled up walkthru, ok for ten minutes.. Cant get past this door, missed it on the walk thru. Story was boring and dejavu inducing, so that was it for me. Trash game, with an unhelpful map. Watch the underworld series instead.

    Boss battles are so boring, that I can't think of a game with worse boss fights like this. you just empty your guns to a super obvious weak spot (if not just anywhere on target) and you just run around to avoid the attacks.
    The 'puzzles' can be resolved by a 6 year old. I found them so easy that insulted my intelligence. The absence    The game is so poorly made that is almost unplayable.

    Little weapon variety, and very straightforward upgrades. Nothing challenging you just upgrade everything

    The story is absurd and uninteresting.

    The only good part of the game is its first couple of hours that gave you a couple of good scares, and the castle part that was atmospheric.

    The series need to be rebooted, I wouldn't bother with RE9 if it follows the same path    … Expand

    He sido fan de la saga de Resident Evil, este gráficamente no es espectacular, jugabilidad decente, historia meh, se que los videojuegos tienen que evolucionar, pero... en serio pasamos de zombies a parasitos y ahora... hombres lobo? jajaja y sin mencionar que de survival no tiene nada...

    The part is far from called Resident Evil, almost devoid of horror, and the game has become more action-packed and boss battles are less bad than I expect, so I see this part as less quality in all respects compared to Resident Evil 7

    On PS4 Pro with framerate prioritized you’ll get an almost identical experience like on current consoles or PC – an impressive port from Capcom.

    Resident Evil Village is a far cry from its more grounded and horror-focused predecessor, but in the end, it’s perhaps just as lovable. At times it feels like a greatest hits collection of some of the best elements of previous Resident Evil games, and while that leads to it not being wholly coherent, it’s not to its detriment. It may not be perfect in terms of combat mechanics and storytelling, but Resident Evil Village keeps you on your toes, with you never truly knowing what’s waiting for you around the next corner. And that’s why when playing it, the hours simply fly by. Will the series ever become stale? Not while it’s being as inventive as this, that’s for sure.

    In the end, Resident Evil Village is not a perfect experience but it is still an awesome one and easily the best of the recent games in the series. It's scary, suspenseful, grounded in relatable human drama, and an overall blast to play; I highly recommend giving it a shot.
