With all the playtime, all the free updates, all the unique class-changing items, and the online community that will surely stick with the game post-launch you’d have trouble finding a game with much more to offer.

There’s a little something for everyone here and even if you don’t particularly enjoy online shooters, you ought to give this one a shot.

The landing of Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare on PlayStation 4 ended in the best way. Not just for 1080p-60 fps resolution and all the DLCs available until now, but especially for the remote play on PS Vita, which allows you to enjoy the entire game experience on the handheld Sony console.

As good as the Xbox One release, Garden Warfare is very funny and entertaining but it's not a tough competitor for Call of Duty or Battlefield.

If you have totally avoided the Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts or other similar hardcore multiplayer shooter experiences and/or have been looking for a fun, accessible and less violent alternative, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is definitely worth a look.

Garden Warfare pays a lot of attention to detail; its game modes are well designed and well implemented, thus being equally fun for all players regardless of age or skill level. The 1080p and 60 fps are also a welcomed improvement.

The colorful fight between the undead and the armored crops was and still is a nice take on the all too serious military multiplayer shooters out there.

It's not a huge game in terms of context, but the highly enjoyable gameplay makes it well worth the wait.

Every single DLC, 1080p and 60fps. If you missed this colorful shooter, this is the chance you were waiting for.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is surprisingly adept at multiplayer mayhem and character balanced, making for a seriously enjoyable diversion from military shooter ad nauseum.

PopCap deserves credit for taking an existing concept, and making it blossom all over again.

Gripes aside, if you are looking for a colourful, fun and humorous shooter, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare should fit the bill nicely.

Casual shooter's perfect example. Playstation 4's version, with most of the additional content available to date, finally gives the feeling of a complete game, contrary to it's first release. Limitless fun with crowded games. A perfect option for both old and young gamers.

Even though there are just a few differences between these versions and the original ones, it still feels fun a fresh, and it's a great experience for those looking for something different.

It's crying out for a larger selection of maps and a few more top-tier game modes, but Garden Warfare remains highly entertaining all the same. [Issue#248, p.64]

While Garden Warfare’s class-based multiplayer provides great fun with unique visuals, the game was plagued by serious network issue during our review.

The least brown shooter ever made, with the colourful graphics and accessible controls supported by an imaginative and surprisingly well-crafted online experience.

Garden Warfare is a very nice addition to the Plants Vs Zombies saga. The game is fun to play and it's technically well executed. Too bad there's not more content.

I'm glad I got it because it is wacky fun class based shooter safe for young and old alike. It is refreshing that instead of build the perfect soldier (the COD) model most shooters follow you have set characters each with their own strengths and weaknesses. I also enjoy that if my children are nearby they are not going to hear or see anything traumatizing. I usually prefer first person over third person but this didn't bother me past the first match. The game includes both cooperative play as well as competitive multilayer I'm not super deep into the game but I know that this game will always be a great break from the more realistic shooters I also enjoy playing. PvZ is definitely not a traditional shooter by any means and that is what makes it great. I found this game to be something really special. ItPvZ is definitely not a traditional shooter by any means and that is what makes it great. I found this game to be something really special. It takes the fundamentals of the played out shooter genre (which I actually am a fan of) and adds a ridiculous theme from one of my favorite mobile games. But besides my personal interests, the game itself is actually incredibly well designed and Ill cut to the chase.
    Pros:
    -Fun for all ages
-Lots of customization and character variation (4 classes per side, type variations for each class and ability)
    Peashooter and Fire Peashooter
    Allstar and Hockey player version
    -Exciting game modes=
Team Death Match (Feels right at home)
Garden and Graveyards (Simplified version of BF rush mode)
Gnome Bomb (Comparable to BF Obliteration mode)
    Suburbanization (Domination)
Taco Bandits (Kinda like CTF, Zombies try to steal a taco from plants 3 times)
-Free Updates (The last one included the latter 2 game modes and tons of customization items)
    -Easy to play/ Not stressful
The game was my saving grace from games like Battlefield or KZ Shadow Fall (Still play them). Honestly its hard to be mad at this game.. Sure some idiot on your team will bring the taco back towards the plants but its just so lighthearted and silly that you'll probably just laugh. I hope.
    -Everything feels very well balanced
Whether in TDM or a completely attack and defend game mode like G&G or Taco, the game never really feels too unbalanced. One team may out rank the other round continuously win but the design of the game is very even across the board. Zombies geared to attack and plants better for defending like they are supposed to but it just works.
    -Garden Ops (Horde mode)
This is actually a lot different from the main multiplayer and its a great change up. The goal is to survive 10 waves and escape aboard Crazy Dave's flying RV. The game is fun and really focuses on the team working together and having a good balance of classes. The amount of maps and locations within each one plus the variety of bonus waves and bosses keeps this fresh and fun.

    Cons:
    -No single player story
I haven't been a huge fan of really any FPS story but I feel with the setting of this and the characters they could have actually made an engaging campaign. Hell you could have done two with perspectives from the zombies and plants alike.. I guess its probably better that they left it out rather then screwed it up but maybe in a sequel.
-Garden Ops, unlike my experience in Multiplayer, can get very buggy which needs a tune up. Not always though thankfully.

This game is some serious fun and a real change from the mundane other FPS games you might be playing. It is great for literally anyone and I would recommend it highly. Trying to not be biased and see it from all perspectives I do think this game deserves a higher score than it has. It might have a few bug issues that could be fixed but as a whole it is very well built, almost surprisingly so. Because I expect a fix to the problems in Garden Ops and that is the only bad thing in my mind this get a 10/10. Play it. Its fun.
