While the graphics do come across as 'kid friendly' the game itself will be fun for gamers of all ages. The character classes on both sides are unique and well balanced, the online community is still very populated, and the sheer number of unlockables will keep any gamer playing for a long long time.    Back in 2014, I desperately wanted this game because it looked like a very fun shooter games and it was kid-friendly. Unfortunately, I tradedBack in 2014, I desperately wanted this game because it looked like a very fun shooter games and it was kid-friendly. Unfortunately, I traded in my PS3 in April 2014 for a Wii U, meaning that I had no console to play this game, and this was before the announcement of the PS4 and PS3 versions of this game. Also, our PC version of the game did not work on our computer. When I saw the announcement that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare was coming to PS4 and PS3 in August 2014, I instantly regretted my decision of trading in the PS3, and I then asked for a PS3 again for Christmas in 2014.
   
   When Christmas came, I was finally excited to be able to play Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare on PS3. Unfortunately, the servers were hacked, but I was able to play it a few days later. At this time, I consistently played the game until I stopped playing the game which later resulted in the PS3 being traded in again in October 2015.
   
   Now, after that incredibly long backstory, that I have played the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. I can say that it is quite a fun multiplayer game. This game has fun characters, all with unique abilities, tons of unlockable items that can keeps players coming back for a while, and a wide variety of maps. This is a fun game that can keep me coming back for a long time to keep playing and unlocking more items for the characters. I recommend to get this game, or even the sequel because it's also a great game that has more fun characters. As someone who prefers single-player games, I am impressed by how fun this game was to play, and I recommend this game to kids and anyone who likes online multiplayer shooters.… Expand

The twists on FPS-elements are everywhere in the game, and it really carves out its own style of action game.
   
   The big maps and many modes feel like plenty of content, but there's also items, unlockable characters and so much more. The game shines when you team up with three other players to defend a garden against waves of varied zombies and bosses. Then, it becomes more than a re-skinned Battlefield game... a well-realized 3D-version of the classic Plants Vs Zombies. So much more than anyone could have expected back when PvZ was a little 2d PC game download.… Expand

It's very user friendly and almost anyone could pick up and play this game. With the way this game looks with it's amazing graphics and funny/silly customizable characters anyone will want to play this game to. The Multiplayer supports tons to different game mods as well, from Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and lots of others. It also has a wave based co-op mode to play with friends and even split-screen.The Plants and Zombies both have extremely diverse and even classes to play, each class having special abilities and it's own roll to play in battle, Some are able to heal or pick up team mates quicker or others have extra health.
   Garden Warfare is a game I definitely would recommend for any child or adult, really anyone looking to have fun with a online shooter.
   It's easy pick up and play game-style makes it enjoyable for anyone.… Expand
