    While many are complaining about balancing issues on the console versions, Blizzard has been pretty quick to addressing problems and is introducing fixes very soon. Overwatch is a fun experience and one of the most balanced I've ever played. Combine that with free content updates with no need for a season pass and Overwatch is a $60 you won't regret spending.

    I played quite a bit of the beta, and have sunk probably 50 hours into the full release. Here are my thoughts:

    Pros -Combat is very smooth, and as far as FPSs go, it doesn't get much better. -Characters provide a variety of different playstyles and strategies -Setting and art style is very aesthetically pleasing -Classes balanced fairly well Cons -Lack of content    I played quite a bit of the beta, and have sunk probably 50 hours into the full release. Here are my thoughts:

    Pros
    -Combat is very smooth, and as far as FPSs go, it doesn't get much better.
    -Characters provide a variety of different playstyles and strategies
    -Setting and art style is very aesthetically pleasing
    -Classes balanced fairly well

    Cons
    -Lack of content
    -Micro-transactions (more on this later)
    -Only 3 game modes at launch (competitive play will be out soon, if it's not already)

    The moment to moment gameplay in here is tense, fast paced and ultimately very satisfying. Those purely interested in a competitive experience will not regret playing this game. One thing that reviews from gaming sites/publications do not address though: lack of content. My understanding is that you can get a $40 dollar version on PC, but on PS4 (and I'm assuming Xbox One) the cheapest version you can buy is $60 (that I'm aware of). For $60, you get 12 maps, and 3 game modes. Other games seem to be punished in their score for a lack of fresh content, yet this game gets a pass. I find this very troubling. I could speculate on the reasons all day, but I won't bother doing it here. Games like Destiny, and even the Division, to a lesser extent, have been derided for a lack of content, from consumers and gaming publications alike. I know its blizzards first new IP in awhile, but they should not be given a pass due to their name recognition.
    Also, how they handle micro-transactions is pretty awful as well. Now, this is in no way pay-to-win. The only things you can pay for are purely cosmetic and do not affect gameplay, this is not the issue. The issue is that what you can buy for real world money is a pull of the slot machine. You get 1 loot box every time you gain a level, and in this loot box is a handful of cosmetic things (skins, voice lines, spray paints, emblems) that appear at random. It is also possible to get gold in varying sizes (by rarity) which you can then use to buy those cosmetic items that you want. My issue comes from the fact that buying these loot boxes means you are buying boxes, hoping to roll whatever it is that you desire. If you are going to charge $60 for this barebones game, paying extra should be for something you want, not a chance at something you want.

    In Conclusion:
    I know most of the previous paragraph makes it seem like I do not like this game, but I assure you that is not the case. Just wish there was more there for $60. Either that, or lower the price point. If you've played Team Fortress 2, you will feel right at home here, and that was bundled in the Orange box with arguably 2 of the best games in the modern era for the same price. All that being said, this game is frantic, sometimes hilarious fun, that you should definitely play if you can, just buy it on PC if you are able and save yourself 20 bucks, or wait for a price drop.    … Expand

    This game is absolutely amazing. I was never really hyped for it's release and thought it was overrated like most of the negative reviews but when I played the open beta, I was instantly hooked. I used to play a decent amount of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 but haven't even touched the game since buying this gem. Although I love this game, I have a couple of minor complaints.     Nivel grafico nada sorprendente, nivel tenico, muy buena jugabilidad y balanceo de personajes.
    Lo he jugado entorno a 60 horas, soy nivel 75, lo he disfrutado con colegas, como digo, las partidas ranking son buenas.
    Pero muy repetitivo, actualmente me hago entre 2 o 3 partidas, pero me aburre y lo dejo.
    Lo compre en su lanzamiento, lo compre por Amazon, mas coste de envio me costo $75, lo se una estafa pero tenia que probarlo, y saber por que tanta gente lo defendia y criticaba, mi opinion personal, fue un timo con advertencia, no lo recomiendo en Consola.    … Expand

    it's a great game for fps player who like here and there a moba element. but what i dont understand is that people are complaining about paytowin??? eum the only thing you can buy are chest and all they do is change your outfit it changes nothing at all to you damage or defence i really dont get these people

    Very fun without being too challenging and, annoying as it is to what your team struggle around you, the payoff when it all finally comes together is one of the most sweet there is.

    Minus the Toxic community it isn't that bad actually. Good place to find new friends or group up with your IRL friends. The world could always use more heroes...

    This game is just...wow! I've enjoyed every second of my 500+ hours now and the game keeps getting better and better with each patch. Blizzard's support of this game is legendary and they really listen to player feedback. Overwatch will most likely be THE FPS of this generation and for some time after. If you haven't played Overwatch since it's launch, I dare say you are missing out. IThis game is just...wow! I play on both PC and PS4, but I find the PS4 version to be my preferred platform for this title. That's mainly because of how toxic the PC community is.

    I'm giving this a 10/10 simply because of how much I love Overwatch. There are minor flaws, and more content is needed, but I have strong faith Blizzard is going to deliver that content as time continues on. I can't wait to see how far Blizzard goes with Overwatch.

    I was skeptical about this game, until i played the first time in Overwatch. Very colorful, joyful, and with amazing polish dubbing. I hope for more characters in game, but knowing Blizzard it's just a matter of time. Very addictive FPS.

    The game has a nice story and graphics. Even if the graphics ain't the realistic type, they still look amazing. As well, the animations are smooth.

    Its a twitch shooter-- the quick or the dead. If you have any lag (such as I do in Australia) are slow or bad aim, you will not have a good time of it. The game is fast and confusing at times. No mini-maps. Team-mate indicators are small; healers can see their team through walls but it is still hard. Doesn't work with support like Zarya. Close to no real team play or strategy whatsoever beyond two things: Move as a team when possible and know your role/switch your when necessary.

    That said, character skills are varied and fun but certain 'easy' characters are over-used and frustrating. D.Va, Bastion and Reinhartd, to name a few. Also, there is no vibration hit indication on console, (vibrates only when you're attacking, not for when you're being hit) so its very difficult to tell you're getting hit until you hit 25% health. By then its often too late. Prepare to die. A lot.

    There is only one melee character. Rest are ranged. Its very KTD orientated and there is close to no retreat -- you have to be pretty lucky to get away and/or have an escape skill ready for bad situations. Some will die and die often whenever 1v1ing anybody as they are pretty slow and have no escape abilities: Ana, Symmetra, Zarya, Torb. I feel this is an over-sight that hinders the enjoyment of these characters greatly, especially since they are relatively weak characters, even Zarya who is technically a 'tank'.

    Games are fun yet repetitive. Matches are random-- you cannot chose game type nor map type. That said all game types are pretty similar. Even the maps all feel kinda the same. Also, the game is flawed in that the game mechanic itself gives an advantage to better players. Those with bad aim will not charge their Ults very easily; those that have good aim and good KTD are constantly popping off their Ults left and right. This is all well and fine, except that a well placed Ult can wipe an entire team. Its a one-sided dynamic that means that once a team starts winning, it is ridiculously tough to break them as they will Ult all over your team over and over. Coming back from a wipe is ridiculously hard. On the topic of dying, while respawn time is quick, it does often take about 10+ seconds to get back to the point of contention, and you have no way of knowing if your team status (unless you watch the kills on the right but this is hard to do in battle) so once a team starts picking you off individually it becomes difficult to come back as a team from this.

    And while the chars look baller, there's also an inherent blandness to the character designs and personalities. At one point, Lucio says to D.Va: 'Oh wow, you're D.Va, can I get your autograph!' and her reply was a 'Oh, only if I can get yours too! I love your music.' it was such a nothing exchange and it felt ridiculously contrived. The funniest lines are when you kill someone mid-Ult and their line gets interrupted, like 'It's High N--urk" with McCree. That's not even scripted.

    I don't feel its a lot of game for the price, and I think it's incredibly over-hyped esp. by official critics. Its good and fun but it has its flaws like any other game, it doesn't really have anything things like TF2 doesn't except looks and polish. Also the loot box system kinda sucks, its expensive and mostly I kept getting stupid sprays which I use in the waiting room and nowhere else.

    Honestly? I'll get hate for this, but I tried Battleborn too and while they are totally different, BBs team aspect just gives me more enjoyment and suits my playstyle more. Less twitchy. More team strategy, more forgiving of lag, more objectives, no skill can one-shot, single player mode-- its also super funny. Got killed by this old character today, and his taunt line was 'Oh no, you just got beat up by a geriatric!' lol. I wasn't even mad. Also way more melee characters (at least 7 I think) and better balance. Games feel more satisfying, especially wins. It has a pretty bad learning curve, but so did OW. And can be confusing but I think OW can be just as confusing at times with the 'crap-- what killed me' moments. It's not as 'pretty' or polished as OW but I find it more fun for me. It is like an ugly but tasty dish. I do like and I still play OW, and I am looking forward to new chars, but I am not much of a FPS twitcher, more of a team player, so its not exactly the game to suit me. If you are that person you will love OW more. If not, try BB.    … Expand

    Overwatch just keeps me coming back for more. This is an online only multiplayer game that just keeps everything fun yet very competitive. The range of characters keeps the game enjoyable all through out and mastering each character takes some time. Some characters are easier to use then others but practice will come a long way.     Im hooked and cant get enough OW. Graphically it is breathtaking, one of the best looking MP games I have ever played. Controls are precise and gameplay is amazing, especially with a group of your buddy's. Music adds to the maps and maps themselves are laid out perfectly. Good balance of characters and servers are pretty good. Always looking forward to Holiday events, trying to getIm hooked and cant get enough OW. Graphically it is breathtaking, one of the best looking MP games I have ever played. Controls are precise and gameplay is amazing, especially with a group of your buddy's. Music adds to the maps and maps themselves are laid out perfectly. Good balance of characters and servers are pretty good. Always looking forward to Holiday events, trying to get those sweet sweet loot crates. Only issues I have with the game is wish there was more maps and modes.     The Best FPS game I've played yet.

    Very fun and addictive and even better when played with friends.

    The Graphics are gorgeous and the voice acting is perfect.

    I recommend this game to all FPS lovers.

The competitive experience is quite good, it is only unfortunate that the other players can't hear you on the consoles. Ranking system is pretty decent, puts you up against players of your level but sometimes gives you players to work with that are much worse.

    Juego bueno pero muy mejorable.
    Pocos personajes comparados con los grandes juegos online como puede ser league of legends o dota.
    Pocos mapas y la verdad es que algunos que son muy poco jugados como Numbani, y pocos modos de juegos y contenido general en el juego. Aun asi gran curva de aprendizaje con todos los heroes del juego cada uno con su dificultad, muy buena idea de meter    Juego bueno pero muy mejorable.
    Pocos personajes comparados con los grandes juegos online como puede ser league of legends o dota.
    Pocos mapas y la verdad es que algunos que son muy poco jugados como Numbani, y pocos modos de juegos y contenido general en el juego.
    Aun asi gran curva de aprendizaje con todos los heroes del juego cada uno con su dificultad, muy buena idea de meter aspectos para mejorar la experiencia y muy buen modo competitivo.

    I came from Team Fortress 2, expecting the exact same fun as in the game, and I certainly found it. Overwatch has three main roles, Tanks, who protect their teammates, Damage, the only role 70% of the player-base uses and Support, who I mainly play. I just want to say that playing as every hero feels unique, and extremely fun. But one of the core flaws I found with the game was how muchI came from Team Fortress 2, expecting the exact same fun as in the game, and I certainly found it. Overwatch has three main roles, Tanks, who protect their teammates, Damage, the only role 70% of the player-base uses and Support, who I mainly play. I just want to say that playing as every hero feels unique, and extremely fun. But one of the core flaws I found with the game was how much the tanks slowed down the combat. If the other team has three tanks, it's absolutely painstaking to break through their defenses sometimes. Its combat is fast, which I really enjoy about it. Then, there are the Ultimate abilities, and most of them are pretty good. But I find that the ultimate economy destroys the main part of Overwatch, which is being able to switch quickly to a different hero to counter another one, as you lose all your Ult. Charge, and so are at a massive disadvantage. I heard a statement that I really related to, 'When it's fun, it's extremely fun. When it's bad, it is terrible.' I play this game only casually, and I hate having to have a coin flip if I'll like the match or not. I only really have fun with Control and Payload maps, which are much faster and give every Hero a decent opportunity. But you can't choose what maps you want to play, resulting in another coin-flip. Then there are the heroes, and while I think it's slightly important to make each one of your characters have distinct personalities, Blizzard took it to the next level. For a game with no campaign, it certainly tries to make you love every character, and get invested in the incredibly stereotypical Sci-Fi story. The game looks very nice, I won't lie about that at all, everything well-textured and very smooth. The soundtrack is pretty enjoyable, every map having its own special style of music, but nothing, except the excellent, uplifting main theme, really sticks out as amazing. So overall, as a world, Overwatch is pretty solid. But this is a game, and when the gameplay isn't all too enjoyable, the world means nothing. I don't hate Overwatch, in fact, I think it's pretty likeable, but it has key flaws like the Ult. economy, broken hero launches, the reliance on people switching, even though no-one wants to and the lack of a campaign.     One of the most fun games of all time. This is a brilliant and fun game. Love it - And look, I do not like generic first person shooters. I have more than 250 hours of it and want more. Blizzard just released a piece of art.

    And unlike other games that you grow tired of playing and can eventually return to, there comes a point with this game where you will put it down and never pick it up again. That at least is what happened to me. After playing this game for a while, you'll begin to feel that there's nothing really left to discover. It is a perfectly complete circle and I often times felt myself going mad going around and around the circle. This problem is slightly amended by the addition of free DLC, but even the DLC still fails to really offer anything that doesn't become subsumed into the restrictions of the game.    … Expand

    people do not understand what are buying here ... it's so hard to read the online reviews? no one knows the WoW pvp? This is the game experience ... do you like? No? do not buy it! there is no progression no offline game there is no campaign no story ... stop complaining! here there is only a great brutal hard core team PvP game! is not for all ... enjoy!

There are competitive modes along side with custom game modes, but with the main player base in the general realm of quickmatches, the overall experience will deteriorate by your 50th match. At least for me, I was just getting bored and frustrated more than some and after 25 hours of play, I just thought it was not really for me. I cannot fully recommend Overwatch, but it is a good game that can be worth your time if you like that sort of idea and structure.… Expand

From Gamestop the game costs $60 dollars new and remember each console plays different whether you are playing it on a Computer or XBOX or Playstation each controls, graphics, and sound quality will be different. The controls are easy to grasp on most platforms but not too sure on PC because I play this game on the PS4, but other than that they also give you the option to change controls if you are used to another control on another console which is great at times.

    But keep in mind the rating of the game is Teen because of blood and violence, but excluding this, the game is really fun and I enjoy playing new characters in competitive matches with other people. I wouldn’t recommend it to people under the age of 8 or 9 because younger people may have a hard time grasping the harder play style of the game or understanding the objectives or controls.

    I really like this game because of it’s diverse feelings and that you can play with other people including your friends and another thing I really enjoy is the loot boxes and the skins because they are really cool and detailed and the loot boxes are like prize for leveling up in game. One thing I don't enjoy is the players that are rude while you play, making the game less enjoyable.     All in all Overwatch is a very fun game to play. Overwatch is rated teen but I think it could be for kids littler than that if their parents let them. Once you start playing you can’t stop.     This year for Christmas, all I wanted was a new Ps4. I was very confident that I would be getting one, so I looked into some possible games that I would like. It didn’t take me very long to find Blizzard's new console creation, called Overwatch. It was recommended on many websites that I looked on, (Amazon, Gamestop, and blockbuster) I was very interested in the game from the start. I watched many trailers and game play videos, to make sure this was the game I wanted. I loved it, I couldn't wait to start playing it. I showed my parents, and they thought it also was a cool game except for how pricey it could get. You are required to buy Ps plus / or Xbox Live which gets pretty pricey, and the game itself which costs forty dollars.

    Christmas morning I found out that I was correct, I got the Ps4 and Overwatch. I hurried down and set it all up and shortly was able to play. The game immediately introduces itself with the characters explaining why you were chosen to become apart of their elite force of heroes. You are then sent to a screen that has many game modes including season three, quick play, arcade, custom, and player versus AI.
    Quick play is my only a shorter game that you play against people who are your level. In arcade mode there are many different types of game modes including three Versus three, the event mode, no limits, brawl list, and Mystery hero. The most recent event mode was, capture the flag. No limits is where there is no limitations on the hero's your team chooses. Brawlist is a playlist of different events. like everyone has to be one hero, or everyone has to be a Certain type of hero.

    When you choose one of these game modes you enter a skirmish while you wait for your main match to load. In this skirmish you can try out new characters and the map. I really love this feature because instead of having to watch the loading sign as you wait for a match you can play with other people that are also waiting for a match. Once your match has been found they pull you out of the skirmish and bring you into your match. Your then put in a kiosk where you choose your hero. After everyone selects their hero you enter the map. The teams wait in different ends of the map, until everyone is let go at once and you fight. At anytime when you die, you can change your hero to change the course of the match. After the match ends you watch the play of the game, and you get exp. you use the exp from the match to level up.

    In the end my point is that this a very good choice if you are choosing a new game to play. The animation is much better than any other game I have played. I truly believe that this game has great potential for the future, I don’t see this game getting old. It always has new ways to bring back there players. New events come out often, keeping the game up to date. Overwatch has also received many awards such as game of the year, Best Studio/Game Direction, best multiplayer of 2016, and many more.     I had zero hype for this game. I've never even played a Blizzard game before this. I only bought it for my husband because all of his friends were migrating to it at release. I have since gotten myself addicted. To trash this game based on the lack of depth is immature and misguided. This game is being rated poorly by people who are just not a right fit for it. I don't enjoy fighting games one bit, but that doesn't mean I'm going to go give Mortal Kombat or Naruto Shippuden a 2 or 3-point rating.

    This game needs to be viewed objectively. The replayability is top-notch. The variance in team chemistry is top-notch. The fact that Blizzard continues to add characters and maps, free of charge, is rare in modern gaming. Blizzard actually listens to its fanbase. The only place I might draw issue with this game (other than a few minor grievances I have in-game) is with the price. This is often compared to TF2 (rightly so). And that is likely why so many people feel Overwatch is really only one piece of a game. But I think if campaign only games can thrive on their own, so can multiplayer-only. Especially considering the latter has much more replayability.

    And as a side-note, I think any review should be completely disregarded if they claim this should be a free-to-play game. Entitlement in the consumer community is just as detrimental to video game progression as things like microtransactions and games being released only half-finished..    … Expand

    Yet, my qualm comes from its oversimplicity. Playing the game never seemed to be as challenging and I found myself getting 1 and 2 places, almost every match going against over HUMAN players.     The maps where we play as different. The design of the game is good, and the game itself looks great. Let some say that cartoony is the style of the game very well. Some cards, I think. there is a certain imbalance: some are easier to win for the defense, and the other for the defense.

    This game is so frustrating. The heroes are very unbalanced and everything happens way too fast, you either die 50 times or kill 50 enemies, depending on what hero you choose. It has no campaign and too few game modes. Not worth buying it.

    I've thought about what I'm going to say very carefully, because after a year of playing every day, I finally know that Overwatch is the best shooter of all time. With amazing, interesting, beautifully designed characters and addictive, fun, captivating gameplay, Overwatch proves itself to be one of the best games ever made.

    As a big halo fan I never took overwatch seriously as it looked too cartoony. But after changing my xbox for playstation I decided to give it a go. They have been constantly updating for free new characters, maps and modes.
    Playing online with other people, was something hard for me until I played this game; we all know how competitive things can get on this platform, but you can pick up certain characters with certain skills and still do a good job adjusting to your abilities and play style. Give it a shot, there´s a character for everyone.
    In case you are fully new to Overwatch, it focuses on Team vs Team, only (except for special events where is 1vs6, or PVE), with few but very fun modes (defending points as king of the hill and escorting a payload, or even hybrid) in a variety of maps, which I must say, were really thought trough and are well designed so any character can shine and none are in full disadvantage or advantage). Blizzard truly did an amazing job risking it and betting on this IP. Give it a try on those free weekends, or when it´s $30. It is fun no doubt in short bursts or if you want to invest yourself in the competitive scene.
    It´s FUN, and hasn´t lost momentum. I find this type of shooter, like Team Fortress, more fun than having the typical resolution of match based on deathmatches and head count.    … Expand

And the roster of playable heroes in Overwatch is probably the best part of the game. Never has there been a class-based FPS title with this much variety. Out of 25 characters with new ones added every year, and the four classes they fit into, no two characters play the same. For instance, Rinehart and Winston are both tanks but do the job differently. If your team needs lasting, straightforward protection then you clearly use Reinhart, but if your team needs to rush the enemy as quickly as possible while still needing protection, then the incredibly mobile Winston would be a better choice. And it's because all of the characters in Overwatch are unique and drastically different in play style and design that makes the game so much fun. 25 ways to play, and you can play anything from an African powerhouse with a giant fist to a robotic munk with levitating orbs around his neck. And they all have varying damage, health, skill ceilings, mobility and situational effectiveness. Combine that with the fact that each character has as powerful move that they can charge up to possibly turn the tides of a game and you have a recipe for a good time. Overwatch gameplay is in general, solid. 6 vs 6 matches are the norm and they’re most of the time fast-paced and chaotic, which makes them lots of fun but sometimes infuriating if the players aren't skilled enough to handle the game’s extremely high skill ceiling. Due to Overwatch being an online- team based game, each of the 25 heroes have to be put in carefully constructed teams that compliment each other's abilities if the players want to win. Luckily, Blizzard nailed online capabilities in Overwatch. Players can team up with their friends in parties and even befriend, communicate with, and start other parties with random players online! Which allows communication between team members which in turn allows for strategy to be discussed amongst a team. Even though there’s only 15 maps in Overwatch as of now which is especially weak compared to TF2’s monster selection of over 100, they are very expensive and have a lot of possible routes and paths, and it's a lot of fun to discover new secret areas to abuse the game. And with there being a handful of modes to the maps such as capturing a point, pushing a payload or doing both, there’s a lot of possibilities to each scenario. Overwatch truly delivers in side content, there is an always expanding plethora of modes to play outside of the normal quick play and competitive, and the player can even make their own modes in the custom game mode, and post them online with the literally millions of other modes made by other players. Another area where Overwatch shines though, is the dozens and dozens and dozens of collectibles that each character can have. All of which are interchangeable to each hero and aesthetically makes the player’s character their own. And each event that comes out over the years adds even more voice lines, sprays, highlight intros, emotes and costumes for all the characters. In the end, Overwatch nails just about every aspect that needs to be addressed for an FPS to be good, and it excels in those aspects to the endth degree to create a must-play experience for any kind of gamer.     Decent multiplayer shooter with some interesting characters, but a lot of the characters feel very underpowered and not very fun to play as. the continued support from Blizzard is great, and this game actually has one of my favorite forms of lootboxes as its not incredibly intrusive and doesn't require real money.

    When it comes to gameplay, you have a choice between multiple characters, each one unique in its own way, and each one with unique abilities to use in order to turn the games in your favor. “Ultimates”, the special moves your characters can use, show the very simplistic and casual nature of the game. Most of the games can be won by the use of an ultimate at just the right time, rendering any amount of skill involved in the minutes prior, at times, completely pointless. Despite this, the casual nature of the game can make it appealing to all kinds of people, especially those who are not well experienced with proper shooting games, or would just like something easy to pick up and play to wind up and relax.

    Overwatch issues do not lie in the fact that it tries hard to be something it was never meant to be - that is, a competitive multiplayer experience. Rather, they lie in both its community and its developers.
    With such dedicated following of course, it’s crazy to think that toxicity wouldn’t be a thing. The online experience, in fact, can be quite disruptive and disappointing, more so here than in other similiar games, forcing some players to turn off voice communication entirely. Given the “social” nature of the game, this is a big problem. Not much effort has been made from the developers to fight this problem, and on top of that -gameplay wise- the balance between characters gets changed and modified ever so frequently in major and gameplay altering ways, leaving people who haven’t played in a while extremely confused once they finally come back. Character balancing is something that i’m sure most people would love to see more often in their multiplayer shooters, if it wasn’t for the fact that Overwatch developers seem to be ignoring crucial balancing needs and instead going their own way with changes that are, most of the time, unneeded and unnecessary.

    The in game lootbox based economy allows you to unlock customization options for each character, either by leveling up and playing the arcade modes, or by getting them with real money. Each customization can be extremely pricey, depending on whether it is a a voice line or an appearance altering skin. Getting to the point where you’re able to finally unlock the item you want can take weeks and weeks, and it doesn’t help that some of the rare skins are locked behind seasonal events, which only grant you the chance to get the desired item for a short period of time, before getting locked again for another year. Luckily, gameplay isn’t affected in any way by skins and such, making players, technically, all at the same level of skill. This matchmaking system, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to work very well. It’s common to see way more experienced players getting matched up against newcomers and viceversa. This issue is amplified by the lessening of the overall player count seen in recent months, and its something newcomers will have to deal with whether they like it or not.

    To sum it up, Overwatch is a simplistic and colorful shooter, with an appeal that will surely get the attention of the more casual crowd. It’s easy to fall in love with this game, but even easier to see its very apparent shortcomings. If you can get past the clueless developers and the atrocious community, you’ll find a very casual but enjoyable game, which becomes even better when played with friends.    … Expand

The objectives also offer intense and engaging moments to the match and every game something new seems to happen. Most of the heroes are super fun to play and are very unique and diverse. They're fun and mostly balanced with a few exceptions. Also some heroes just aren't as fun to play as others. Some of the main problems i have with this game is that the progression is very slow and the loot box system feels kinda cheap with how long it takes to obtain them. The game released pretty bare bones but after the first couple months the game modes, new heroes, maps, and other content helped improve the game. Overall a really great game and one of the best shooters in a long time with a few problems but overall very good.… Expand

The maps are plentiful and diverse, objectives offer intense game-play and will have you very invested in your game. Their are a few heroes who feel way to powerful and their are many strategies that will frustrate you but that is to be expected with a multi-player game. My main concern is how slow the progression is. Climbing the competitive ladder feels to slow with very little meaningful rewards. Loot boxes offer some unique mechanics but also a whole pool of poorly designed ones, but also offer something too look forward too when leveling up. Overall a truly great multiplayer experience and one of the best in years for that matter, and a great business model offering unique content every few months despite it lacking in offering single player content.     I have played thousands of hours and still keep coming back. Sure the match can be frustrating but it is the kind of game that I really enjoy playing. So many free updates, new heroes, events and regular challenges kept it fresh whenever I started to get burned out. Will be playing this for years to come. The strength of the game is the cast of characters.

    I really love this game, it's another one I play with my brother who got his when he saw how much fun I was having with mines.

    I love playing all the characters though I mainly stick with Sombra, Mercy, D.va, Reaper, Ashe, Hanzo and Ana. I'm not all that great with the others but I play the ones I listed decently enough.

    I loved this game Blizzard has delivered one of their best games ever! Play it since 2014 (BETA), and until today (2019) I have fun with it! My favorite hero will always be Moira!

    I play this game almost every day. It's super fun (when you have a good team comp), but I wish they would add more game modes. Making Total Mayhem a mode that is available to play all of the time would be awesome. What would be even more awesome would be to add other game modes into competitive play. Overall, it's a super fun game!

    Overwatch is a very addicting hero shooter with multiple unique heroes, maps, and modes. However, some of the provocative skins, and the toxic community prevents it from being one of my favorites.

    The game is really scimpy on ps4, pc version is way way better. After 40 hours of gameplay you will realize that Overwatch is Hollow. IT'S JUST EMPTY and no one wants to fullfit it(yes, Blizzard, talking about you)

    I'm usually a guy that just sticks with singleplayer games, but this games surprisingly kept me replaying matches over and over thanks to it's colorful cast of fun and interesting characters with unique skills. Though it could use a bit more content, it's still a lot of fun to play.

    Every time I play with this game I have so much fun. I think it's a pretty good online multiplayer game. I used to play it more, but this game still manages to keep up. The characters are great (at least most of them) and pretty much everything works fine. One reason I give it a 9 is because not all of the characters are balanced e.g. Bastion is waay too strong, and another reason is thatEvery time I play with this game I have so much fun.     Events don't change for 3 years !!!! Skins so limited , bad modes and nothing new، weekly change of important modes like "TDM" and "elimination" , lack of interest in the game
