    If you liked Super Meat Boy and old NES games, you might like this one. Excellent, responsive controls and a brutal hardcore challenge make up for some middling and occasionally unfair level design. You might get frustrated, but it measures your skills fairly. The soundtrack is really good, too!

    With manageable levels that feels like a puzzle themselves, simplistic gameplay, and challenges that will attract dedicated players, Ninja Senki DX is a pretty well rounded package for such a small price tag.

    Ninja Senki DX is solid on its basic gameplay mechanics and definitively is a good and challenging retro game. It is not the best Tribute Games title but at least have new challenges that perfectly cover its cheap price.

    The levels are challenging without being overly frustrating and the music is charismatic. Fans of the retro 8-bit games will enjoy Ninja Senki DX.
