    A really beautiful game that surpass my expectation.
    Almost everything in this game awesome, the story & plot, the musics, the action/battle, world setting and characters. The game that you must play to understand how good it is and get full experience in a good way.
    Yoko Taro and Platinum game did a good job on this game, this is definitely a gem in PS4.

    The game can be a grind but believe me when I say that no video game EVER has used the medium of video games better than Nier: Automata. The story is sometimes boring though when it is good, its insanely introspective and philosophical. The last choice in the game is one of the best choices ever presented in gaming history

    wow..from sight, sound to story, just beautiful ....once you start playing it immerses you with extremely satisfying combat, u'll be lost in this world between the sliding the dodging and the slashing.

    After playing hundreds of other games, ending up getting bored part way through and then praying to clear my back log,,,,,This is the first and only game iv genuinely enjoyed from start    wow..from sight, sound to story, just beautiful ....once you start playing it immerses you with extremely satisfying combat, u'll be lost in this world between the sliding the dodging and the slashing.

    Cuando hace unos pocos meses me decidí embarcar en esta obra de arte llamada NieR: Automata, lo hacia con la expectativa de encontrarme un videojuego de ROL Japonés normal y corriente, eso si, con un estilo de combate en la jugabilidad muy llamativo que me encanto al verlo en diferentes gameplays.    Un juegazo increíble, con una historia maravillosa y llena de momentos inolvidables.

    Cuando hace unos pocos meses me decidí embarcar en esta obra de arte llamada NieR: Automata, lo hacia con la expectativa de encontrarme un videojuego de ROL Japonés normal y corriente, eso si, con un estilo de combate en la jugabilidad muy llamativo que me encanto al verlo en diferentes gameplays.

    Todo así comienza en una experiencia de juego tremenda, que durante las primeras 3 o 4 horas estaremos peleándonos con hacernos a los controles un tanto particulares, que dependiendo del escenario, la posición de la cámara y los enemigos deberemos ir variando. En toda esta encrucijada de situaciones, el videojuego no deja de sorprender en ningún momento, con escenarios que pasan de la expiración de mundo abierto, a secciones 2D de scroll lateral, o incluso también a secciones Shoot'em up al mas estilo de los Bullet Hell como Ikaruga u otros arcades de los 90.

    El combate principal esta basado en un estilo Hack and Slash, como bien saben hacer los de Platimun Games con anteriores títulos como Bayoneta o Metal Gear Rising, aun que este que han realizado para NieR: Automata en particular a mi gusto, se me hace el mas satisfactorio y resultón por las animaciones de combate de los diferentes personajes, que están tan sumamente bien detalladas, que cuando realizas ciertos combos a enemigos simplemente te deja asombrado las locuras increíbles capaces que se pueden ejecutar.

    En cuanto a la historia y personajes no debo, ni quiero contar mucho al respecto, pero lo que si quiero comentar es que jamás pensé que este juego al final me fuera a encandilar y maravillar por este apartado. Creo que es mejor que cada uno sin ninguna clase de spoiler lo descubra por si mismo. Eso si, debo decir que las primeras 10 horas de juego estaremos algo desubicados en cuanto a argumento, que poco a poco se ira desengranando, dando paso a cambios que para nada esperaremos y nos dejaran impresionados. Es un juego al que, por favor, hay que dedicar un mínimo de horas para que vaya enganchando, si llevas 5 o 6 horas jugando a Nier: Automata y ves que es algo que no va contigo, o que simplemente te esta aburriendo. Por favor, continua, y continúalo hasta el final verdadero, no te quedes a medias por nada del mundo. Te aseguro que merece mucho pero que mucho la pena todo lo que vas a vivir y sentir en cuanto a argumento y evolución de la trama. No tengas ansias de terminar el juego, simplemente ve dejándote llevar, y disfruta.

    La banda sonora es sencillamente hermosa, esta al nivel de las mejores bandas sonoras de la historia. Con un toque único, como es el de esta saga en muchos aspectos, canciones que carecen de sentido ya que las letras de estas composiciones están escritas en diferentes idiomas imaginándolos de cara al futuro como podrían sonar, pero no por eso son peores, de hecho es todo lo contrario, la logran dotar de una personalidad única, y con la que consiguen transmitir mucho, llegando a hacerte sentir, grandeza, melancolía, tristeza... y todo ello, con una vocalización llena de cariño y belleza en cada una de sus composiciones, con lo que son capaces de introducirte totalmente en el videojuego.

    Para mi NieR: Automata es sinónimo de, descubrimiento, humanidad, y por supuesto también de reflexión. Creo que nadie que finalice Nier: Automata puede quedar indiferente ante el. No voy a decir que me haya cambiado la vida, pero si que me ha dado motivación a pensar en ciertas cosas de manera diferente.

    Siempre van a faltar palabras para poder definir a un videojuego de estas características, pero en definitiva, es uno de los mejores juegos de esta generación. Y que para todo aquel que lo finalice, dejara un recuerdo y un pensar, que será inolvidable. Una obra de arte.    … Expand

    Jogo bem bacana. O cenário é bem interessante, com história bem curiosa, tem uma boa mistura de hack-n-slash, jogo de navinhas e exploração.     I've enjoyed it from the start to the end. It's beautiful artistically, plays so well and shoot-em-up segmens are simply great, combat is great. And the music ! OMG, I have enjoyed it so much. First I have missed it, but my friend recommended me the game and I was blown away. We need more games like these.

    En un futuro lejano, una raza de alienígenas dejó un ejército de máquinas en el    Nier:Autómata es para mi uno de los mejores videojuegos de la historia. Tiene fallos, como una jugabilidad demasiado fácil y sencilla, poca variedad de enemigos, unas malas misiones secundarias...Pero con todos sus fallos, tiene una de las mejores historias que se han creado en el mundo de los videojuegos.
    En un futuro lejano, una raza de alienígenas dejó un ejército de máquinas en el planeta Tierra, obligando a la humanidad a retirarse a unas instalaciones en la luna. Los humanos crearon a los YORHA, un ejército de androides con la función de acabar con las máquinas y recuperar la Tierra.
    El juego nos pone en la piel de 3 personajes diferentes a lo largo de la aventura:
    2B, un androide femenino diseñado para el combate.
    9S, un androide masculino diseñado para reconocimiento con la habilidad de piratear a las máquinas.
    2A, una androide femenina también diseñada para el combate.
    Este juego se divide en rutas. Hay un final para cada letra del abecedario, pero los canon son el final A,B,C,D y E. Tendrás que completar el juego 3 veces para desbloquear los 3 finales principales, y después deberás hacer cosas específicas para el D y el E.
    No contaré nada más sobre la historia del juego, ya que perdería toda la gracia. Es un videojuego al que DEBES jugar si o si, una obra maestra diferente.
    Jugablemente, siendo un título de Platinum Games no decepciona. La jugabilidad es frenética, propia de un Hack and Slash y sus controles son intuitivos, con la presencia de algunos minijuegos de pirateo con el personaje 9S.
    La banda sonora del juego es magistral. Hay un tema para cada ocasión y todos son una delicia para los oídos.
    Gráficamente, el juego es regular tirando a malo. Su gama de colores es muy corta, los diseños de los secundarios dan pena, hay muchos dientes de sierra...
    Pero, ¿Os habéis dado cuenta de una cosa? Ya he dicho varios fallos del juego y no dudo de la nota que le he puesto. Simplemente, la historia hace que te olvides de cualquier fallo del juego.
    Os animo a que disfrutéis de esta obra de Yoko Taro.

    Beautiful and rich story and characters. Loved every moment of it. Didn't have the tears that some people had butthere were so many deep questions to be asked afterwards. And the gameplay itself was freaking awesome

    Nier automata is one of the best games I have ever played in my 15 years ( i am 28 years old) as a ¨gamer¨ the lore/plot is top tier, worthy of 10/10 without a doubt, the combat gameplay is fast and enjoyable (60fps!!) you cant get bored playing as 2B*, the music is gorgeous is one of the best OST in the history of games (maybe i am overrating it. . . .but i doubt it. . .) i cant express with words how amazing is the music in the game, there are only 2 ¨bad things¨ about nier utomata:
    one is the graphics, that are kinda lame for being released in 2017, but is worth for having 60 fps on Ps4.
    the second one has a spoiler:
    the game has 3 principal routes, A, B and C, A and C are top tier and worth all the time you can spend in the game, but route b. . . . you play as 9s he´s clearly not a fighter so the combat gameplay gets from 10/10 to 3/10 (is like being in heaven and then fall to the ground!) is really bad but to get route C you have to pass route B . . . so the game gets boring. apart from that, the lore revealed in route B worth the whole route. you cant get disappointed with the game if you haven't played it go and buy it is amazing!    … Expand

    Up until now my favorite game of all time was Final Fantasy X the story and music were the best that I had ever experienced.

    I originally skipped Automata because I just thought it would just be a stupid game about a robot in a short skirt. I don't want to give anything a away but the twists and turns of this game will have you holding your controller in your hand and just staring at the screen in shock and awe. Theres not much else to say about this game, go and buy it right now and you will not regret it.

    On a less positive note I do feel the only fan service thing of the game is a bit ridiculous given the atmosphere of the world and the seriousness of the plot the fan service really has no place in the game and originally made me skip it. However do not make the same mistake I made, go buy it.

    I hold FFX to a high standard and I believe Automata is better if not at the same level of FFX in terms of story and soundtrack    … Expand

    the story is a little confusing and start of the game but when you collect intel and play more you will understand the great backstory

    The game with incredibly deep story and joyfull gameplay that never ceases to surprise you. Combination of of Yoko Taro's vision and Platinum Games work bring us the true masterpiece and the best game I have ever humbly played. If games could be called "the work of art" this is the proof of it.

    Cuando conocí este videojuego me llamó previamente la atención su particular estética y banda sonora, pero al experimentarlo en carne propia me pareció algo increíble, sobretodo la estructura de su historia y su desarrollo. El sistema de combate es divertido, los personajes entrañables y carismáticos y la historia y finales te llenan de satisfacción. Puede llegar a tener algunas misionesCuando conocí este videojuego me llamó previamente la atención su particular estética y banda sonora, pero al experimentarlo en carne propia me pareció algo increíble, sobretodo la estructura de su historia y su desarrollo. El sistema de combate es divertido, los personajes entrañables y carismáticos y la historia y finales te llenan de satisfacción. Puede llegar a tener algunas misiones secundarias o apartados mejorables, pero eso no tiñen la excelente experiencia y la caja de sorpresa que presentan, la cual personalmente me duró más de 65 horas. I was not fully captivated early on but the creative game play from side scrolling, 2D platforming to the typical 3D action RPG style kept me playing. What finally made me realized that this is a special game was when I reached the Amusement Park. But once I put real effort into figuring out the games mechanics (and finally getting past the opening section) I fell in love with it.     It does have its faults for e.g. the button mashy combat with little variety in moves and facing robots for the entirety of the game doesn't sound like the best type of enemy variety but with a story that packs this much of a punch, you would be doing yourself a disservice to toss this to the side because of it. Its variety of playstyles that ranges from games from the 80s and 90's up to modern-day makes up for the combat though.

    This game is a masterpiece that will make you go on an emotional rollercoaster that is unlike any game I've ever played. Going through subject matter most critically acclaimed directors wouldn't dare attempt to approach.    … Expand

Make sure to play through all the routes to get the full experience though, endings A to E are the main endings that YOU MUST play for the real experience. Gameplay wise, it features multiple perspectives and gameplay elements that correlate together seamlessly, sometimes the game is a hack and slash rpg, other times its 2D platformer, other times its a hacking simulator. You might be confused with all these thinking that sounds horrible but trust me it is the absolute opposite.     Whoever plays this game until the end and is not emotionally moved by it is less of an human-being than 2B ever was.
    The music is perfect, the story makes total sense as soon as you get it, the game's got nice plot twists here and there and the game itself just has too many layers of story-telling which makes this whole thing as perfect as it is.

    Great game!! I’ll start with this is not the style of game I usually get into. However I really enjoyed every aspect from the story, gameplay, and visuals. It’s definitely worth doing the alternate ending, as it only gets better. It’s not a 10/10, but so close. I’ll most likely play it again someday.

    I really like the heart breaking story with a small light of hope in the end. The music itself is really a masterpiece even if one didn't play the game. The battle process sometimes gets a bit overwhelming with too many special effects going off, but is nevertheless enjoyable.

There is one other uniform in the game, and it's a ridiculous suit of armor, requires very specific story choices, and takes about 30 hours too reach. The DLC has a "revealing outfit"(as if the default one isnt revealing enough) which is one thigh-high, and a nightgown.

    Everytime you run, jump, or climb a ladder, between wind picking up her dress, and some crazy "coincidental" camera angles, you get your camera pointed directly at her exposed caboose, and numerous cutscenes show you ass and cameltoe.

    and don't you dare tell me this is empowerment, or story accurate. This is the same as Quiet in metal gear, or the female armor in monster hunter. Japanese games tend to not treat women the same way as western games. That's it. One of the devs even said he solely chose it cause it's hot.

Some of the side quest is not interesting and it doesn't make the player wants to finish them all. But after the first ending, the side quest is actually on different perspective. I think the developer needs to make the side quest more interesting to play.… Expand

    A beautifully made game that keeps you surprised and in awe of its production. The story, music, gameplay, and everything else is blended carefully and beautifully to create an amazing game. The game is addicting and intriguing, it will want you to look into the lore of the other games from Yoko Taro. A perfect 10/10.

    This is an amazing game. It has great story, good visuals, incredible music and smooth gameplay. This is my new favorite game. I highly recommend it.

    An amazing and beautiful game with great story, characters, voicing, visuals, combat, soundtrack, etc.
    This has to be one of my all-time favourite games with just how much I enjoyed, and I'd definitely love to see a sequel come out of this. I'm very excited that its prequel, NieR Replicant, is getting a remake, and I'll definitely be playing that when it's released.

    Best game I've ever played. Has the best soundtrack and story I've ever seen in a game. Combat is fantastic as well.

    After reading about the game, I was expecting it to be so-so then dramatically change after the famous “Ending E.” While the game changes somewhat after each endings (will avoid elaboration here to avoid spoiler territory) it’s anything but a so-so game during the first playthrough.     The story is a slow unraveling mystery that keeps me coming back. The fun gameplay has me addicted and the music is a top-tier epic game soundtrack that’s cinematic. The graphics are perhaps average to slightly above average for PS4, there are some cool effects, some beautiful scenery and some unfortunate pop-in in places.

    I’m addicted to the gameplay/combat and the story... well the story has shook me through the multiple playthroughs. This game is extraordinary and I don’t know what can follow it to play next. This is a story-driven action RPG, a it’s a hack & slash and a dash of shoot em up. To put it simply, it’s a must-buy for the PS4.    … Expand

    NieR Automata: Beyond Gods Edition was a total shock to me with how much I enjoyed it. It takes a very solid experience for me to enjoy an RPG lately and NieR grabbed me quite well from the beginning and kept me entertained throughout. It's the type of game where I want to do everything that I possibly can just to make the experience longer - a type of game I rarely find nowadays. I went into NieR Autamata with no expectations other than the good gameplay that I usually find from Platinum Games, I went away floored with a near perfect action game.

    NieR: Automata is not for everybody. In fact, the game looks to be aimed at the most refined fans of the medium by not caring about the regular gaming conventions, in the same way the works of David Lynch are perfect for the hardcore moviegoers.
