Good solid arena fighter. Story is pretty much the stain arc through the All for One arc, nothing special too it. The gameplay actually pretty solid, some weird hit-boxes here and there but nothing too major, feels good to play in the end. The customization is a pretty fun addition too, nice little thing they put in there that I actually enjoy playing around with.

Or just ignore everything I said and get it for the waifus.

The game for sure has it's faults, but at the core it's a fun, good-looking (the pics don't do it justice), fast paced arena fighter, with some great MHA flavor. Think along the lines of smash, powerstone, etc etc, rather than something like dbfz or bbtag.

Are there problem areas? Damn straight. Story mode seems like an afterthought and something just sort of 'there', it's only real

Are there problem areas? Damn straight. Story mode seems like an afterthought and something just sort of 'there', it's only real purpose is to unlock things, which is a huge downside if you're here for single player content. Controls are a bit simplistic for a fighter compared to other fighting games, which again, makes a lot of people unhappy, looking for something more serious.

The good? The game is very fun. Like, very fun. Environments get destroyed, everyone has crazy super moves, etc etc. It's flashy. It's fast. The more I've been playing it, the more fun it is. And it's very easy for people to get in to, but even for people looking to take a little more seriously will find some fun combos still. Is this enough to rate this as high as I did? I thought about that for a very long time, and I settled on yes. A lot of the modes and things in the game are half-assed and not really all that great, but it's core, multiplayer fighting, is fun enough to me to tip the scales. A lot of the negative reviews rate the game low because of the single player content - and rightfully so,but for me, I was never really going to fiddle with that unless I had to, so I didn't really take much off for that.

This will never be anything competitive. This is more of a fighter to just chill and have fun with, nothing serious, and you won't find any crazy insane tech that require ultra perfect timing, but that aside, you have something fast and fun, with MHA flavor.

I don't know the animé but I do know fighting games and I've been having a lot of fun with this game. This has a lot of dbz DNA and I especially love that dbz thing where alot of the combat takes place in the air. characters have a limited move set of about maybe 15 moves incl some insane ultimates. And all moves are easy just press buttons. Not much directional gymnastics needed. AllI don't know the animé but I do know fighting games and I've been having a lot of fun with this game. Sadly the default mode is auto combo for the kids but u can switch to manual to make you own combos. In ranked online most people are using manual combos and extremely effectively. Also online is very try hard. I've played it enough now to see that there is great unbalance between many of the characters but to honest I like this as noob are playing all the op character. A simple, but fresh and most fun fighting game. especially good for local play with friends who maybe not good at fighting games as they can just button mash. It not highly technical like soul calibre more simple like dbz so quick to learn but yea lotta fun. I like it. Expand

This game is underrated, at least for fans of the show. The combat is tight, the characters play exactly the way you would want and expect them to, the mission modes are fun, the only critiques I have are the sub par retelling of the story and the lack of modes, but overall if you enjoy the anime, you'll enjoy this.

Some assists work better with another character than another and each character has a limited play style that you can adapt to easily but i won't lie, some characters are stronger than others, but it's usually those that are harder to learn. Im a huge my hero fan, so i enjoyed this, though i feel a bit bias. The character roster is sometimes good, better than mha bfo, and the gameplay is simple. However unlike db FighterZ, you cant use their dub voices, just japanese. The cutscenes, in the story mode, suck. Their in a comic book style but use shots from the anime. I feel the game is under rated, its good, for a while, it has great customization for characters, flash battles (similar to jump force) and over a fun game to play together. Expand

All in all, My Hero's One Justice is a fun experience for fans, but that's about its limit. It's faithful to the source material almost to a fault, and it does a great job of including little touches and inside jokes that make it clear that a lot of love for the franchise was included in the game. As a game on its own merits, though, it is thoroughly average. The unbalanced gameplay feels appropriate for the franchise, but it can also lead to it not being very fun for head-to-head play. If you're a big fan of the My Hero Academia anime and manga, you'll get your money's worth from this game, but anyone else should wait for a price drop.

There are enough touches for fans to feel the source is appreciated, but outside of seeing your favourites smash each other in the faces, it’s bare bones. [Issue#157, p.88]

My Hero One’s Justice is not a poor offering, just a thoroughly uneven one that only the hardest-core Manga fans will be able to immerse themselves into. I enjoyed the fast-paced, accessible fighting with an art style that looks great in action, but everything around that gameplay leaves things to be desired.
