    very americanized story, characters such as rain which are heavy in the story is not playable, characters such as kitana which adds nothing to the story is playable (goro doesnt even exist, ignore comics). Story was like an old cheesy american propaganda movie XD
    everyone got slapped, kotal khan the emperor was nothing more than a little b**** in the story, so was quan chi (everytime quan chi popped up, he got beaten to death like a little s****).
    Raiden went back in time in mk9 just to make the same mistake in mk10 post credit scene... really?
    But this is just from a person who enjoyed the mk story line, gameplay is still good regardless.    … Expand

    Stop with all of the microtransactions!!!! give your consumer and fans of the game the **** that is already on disk and should be available from the start. not to mention all the bugs on release.

    MKX has become a great game, but unfortunately got released with very annoying bugs. Without those it would be easily worth an 8.5/10.

    The story is great, although I personally liked the story from Injustice a bit better. The fights, graphics and a very wide range of finishers are top of the line though.     Unfortunately there are a couple of game breaking bugs in that section: tower scores don't properly save: your highest score automatically resets to the last score you've achieved. Leaderboards are not working properly: Scores never get uploaded.
    The 'koins' you earn during matches can be spent in the 'Krypt' to unlock brutalities, second fatalities and art. Unfortunately also here, sometimes previously unlocked items disappear from your catalog.

    + Best fighting experience in a game to date
    + Great graphics
    + Wide range of fatalities, brutalities and faction kills

    - Some game breaking bugs. Most notably the tower high scores that are not properly saved
    - Disfunctional leaderboards

    So out the box this game rocks, but it really depends on the preference of the consumer/gamer. If your into fighting games you will love it seriously...if you are looking for something to casually play while keeping you glued to your seat with anticipation this may not be for you. I rated a 6 due to the lack of storyline and character development after all you will eventually become board with the kicking and punching cliché after awhile. Adaptation of a storyline is what make games like DBZ titles fun minus the KARATE feel me....I think if your a new or former MK enthusiast you will enjoy this title. Also MK is the originator of the bone crushing and gore aspect presented in fighting games today its hard to compare them to the others out there Midway has a hit on there hands for generations to come.     And a main fail - online. Game is pretty online-oriented (daily quests, faction wars...), but online itself is almost unplayable. Today average lag feels somewhere near a 300 - 500 ms. And with a 50 - 100 ms lag you already can't do any combo. How can it be, when Tekken TT2 and revolution's online on ps3    Really good game.     If you don't like 2D fighting games, don't buy, this is button smashing -simulator 2015.
    Characters and fatalities/brutalies are awesome, but gameplay isn't anything special, if you are not into fighting games like me.

    I dont what to say about this game its was it was average compared to number 9 they got rid of kabal and afew others the story was average to everything was average i use the average word alot because well it was erm average anyway tekken 7 will be here soon.

Some of the acting for the new characters could use some work in the story. 15. More DLC planned in the future. 16. Steam play feature where you can play a portion of the game while it is downloading...FAILED! 17. No Hara Kiris! 18. No Animalities. 19. No Konquest Mode. 20. No Backstory to explain anything in the story. 21. Some fatalties do not look as brutal than the previous version. 22. No klassic fatalities. 23.     The game is fun, but it's a copy of MK9, with elements of Injustice. The gameplay is the same, so it's worth the 6, because the history of this game is just awful. The ending is ridiculous, and the final boss is even worse. I'm a huge fan of MK, but I think this game is suffering from most games of this generation are: money.     Well my hopes were high on this one. I thought it was the first BIG beat em up for the PS4 platform but... Too wear graphically. This seems something out for PS3 and not for a new generation console. For example Johnny Cage looks awful (no expressions and looks like Duke Nokem). BUT not a bad game just a little disappointed. Hopefully the new Street Fighter won´t be like this one.

Less fatalities but far more grotesque, just how fans like it. Story is alright, shortish length though but this game I'd say is more made for party tournaments with mates and fills that category brilliantly.     Not the best Mortal Kombat in the history , and of course not the best fighting too. But you can find this game as a way to have a fun with friends , like in MK9

    This is without doubt the best fighting game on the PS4. However it does not have a lot of competition at the moment so this is no mean feat.

    The game itself is good but nothing special. There is enough put in though to keep you going for a while. I am finding it fun at the moment but I can see it gathering dust in a couple of months.     If I don't consider the graphics which are simply awsome, this is the same game I used to play when I was a child. It's the same, one character in front of another kicking, jumping, blood and more blood. This game only worths if you are a huge fan and you were expecting the same game improved. But if you are looking for something original, don't waste money or time!

    it's a good fighting game. the graphics are sweet. if you love MK you'll like it. but the main reason i bought it was to do towers with my friend in tag team like in the last one... but that isn't an option. soooooo it isn't fun to play with my friends. there is only so many times you can fight your friend in MK. if it had the coop tower i would give it an 8.

    Tenho este jogo na versão do ps4. Sou um grande fã da marca, achei o jogo bom, mas tem grandes defeitos. Separando os pontos que acredito serem relevantes:

    Positivos:
    - Os novos personagens tem profundidade, são ótimos.
    - Boa história.
    - As facções foram uma ideia legal.

    Negativos:
    - Tem poucos personagens e cenários. Menos que o antecessor. O que é um absurdo.
    - Não permite mais jogar com 4 pessoas! Não da pra acreditar que fizeram isso.
    - Campanha da história curta.
    - Personagens que aparecem pra lutar na história mas que não são jogáveis.
    - Gráficos com saturação de cor ou contraste fora do comum, que estragam os gráficos. Parece o killer instinct do xbox one.

    Por estas rações, acho que o MKX esta um pouco pior que o antecessor. Do meu ponto de vista, o jogo lançado em 2011 trouxe a franquia de volta aos bons tempos, e este agora deveria ter acrescido a ele em número, sem tirar nada que tinha de bom. Da forma que foi feito parece que foi um trabalho realizado sem capricho.    … Expand

    Maybe I am getting too old but i got bored of this game after half an hour. It's good if you have your pals round for a few beers & you chuck it on for a couple PvP matches, apart from that its gathering more dust than Caitlin Jenner's VaJayJay.

    If you don't play fighting games and want to try something new or to try to play them, I don't recommend this. Think of yourself as just a loser, online all are better than you, and your controller will go broke faster.
    2D fighting games are history and they isn't that good for the new gen consoles.

    Game itself is pretty nice and fun for a while.

    Hell yes. This game is addictive but I'm not very good as most players which makes it hard to get trophies. This game is so gorgeous I'm fine with seeing my ass being kicked.

    Un gameplay sensacional, que tiene pros y contras. Lo bueno, es que es muy fluido, el sistema de combate. Lo malo, muy facil, ahora las fatalities las puedes realizar con un par de botones, literal un    Frenetico... asi se describe este Mortal Kombat X.

    Me decepciona el modelo de negocio, venta de personajes por $4.99 C/U.
    Esto en mi opinion le resta calificacion.

    He jugado tanto a este como al 11 y he de decir que me ha gustado más este, el estilo de lucha es muy interesante, combates al más puro estilo Mortal Kombat, echo de menos un modo Historia más largo ya que es muy interesante.

    Overall it's a good game but I really don't like the story. The fact that bunch of teenagers are defeating the arch enemy is a complete nonsense to me. Besides the story, there is a lot to do as always with mortal kombat games. I do like strong emphasis on combos aspect but some characters are completely unbalanced and either too powerful or too slow.
