    Game returned. Company boycotted forever.

    I would rate a 0, but a 1 usually hurts ratings worse. When will these shady USA game companies realize how tired people are getting of paying $60 to receive only half of a game? They make the entire game, then decide what parts to cut out and sell separately. The whole point of DLC is to ADD to games, not to sell the other already-completed    Game returned.     A terrible buggy release is always a nice way to screw over all pre-ordering customers. Reminds me why I don't Pre-Order anything

    Decent game ruined by having to play a crappy phone game to unlock stuff ON THE DISC. This isnt paid for dlc btw this is costumes, moves , etc , etc on the disc that you paid $60 dollars for that can only be used if you play a garbage game on the iphone and link both games to WBPLAY.

    100% BS avoid.

    Fun game. I'd give it a 9 overall, but the fact that netherrealm is selling DLC they haven't released yet, let alone should be part of the game, then trying to basically give you an "In-app purchase" console game for $60 deserves a 1 because that's ripping off gamers. That carrot dangling ruins the game for me and brings that 9 down to a 1, so have a 3.

    This game is certainly not terrible, although it is simply iterative and doesn't innovate in any significant way.

    However, in 25 years of gaming, I have never felt so abused by a game as I have by Mortal Kombat X. In the good old days, characters were unlocked and playable by completing the game in different modes. Today, all that is irrelevant, You don't have to beat the game, you    This game is certainly not terrible, although it is simply iterative and doesn't innovate in any significant way.

    Today, all that is irrelevant, You don't have to beat the game, you don't have to be good or practice in order to pull off the finishing moves. In MKX, the only thing that matters is your wallet.

    Just take a look at the PS store right now and cast your horrified eyes at the DLC that is on offer (and it's cost).    … Expand

    Made to work on pre-gen consoles, so it pretty much looks and feels like the previous installment. They have removed some of my favourite kombatants(Kabal, Night Wolf, Baraka) with the offspring of other characters, my issue with this is that they play like clones with only a few exceptions.

    Huge disappointment. What's the most important part about any game ? Being able to play it. Unfortunately, this game is unplayable online. Takes 5-10 min to find an opponent, 80 % of games either have delay imput or are so laggy it's unplayable. Also, some characters are broken (like Raiden who can easily pull a 54 % on corner nice). Furthermore, more **** 1st Day DLC (easy fatality, skipHuge disappointment. What's the most important part about any game ? Being able to play it. Unfortunately, this game is unplayable online.     Terrble game, have been playing MK since arcade days and this is the worst. Story mode was turned off after 20 minutes seems its just like watching a film(and not a good one) that stops every few minutes to let you fight. Replacing older classic charcters with offsprings of others just seems lazy.     24 characters x 3 varations = lots of moves
    Gameplay and controls good (offline)
    Mostly good graphics

    The bad:
    Pressing buttons really fast is not a test of skill (-1)
    Netcode (-2)
    UX to do anything online is slow and often reports server errors (-1)
    Graphics on some characters look unfinished (-1)
    Day 1 DLC (-2)

    Day one DLC makes this game great. Sure they could have included the costumes but why? when they can ask for money? The game is a stripped down version of MK9. No classic costumes. They made new characters that aren't really designed all that interesting. Instead of reinventing some of the better kombatants from past games. NRS manages to put the entire Cage family in the game instead of anyone interesting. Oh and microtransactions plague the game and are on every screen. After you do the fatalities your will be bored quickly. The color palate is so bland. Would it kill to aske for a little more color on the fighters to make them pop? Stripped down version of MK9 and even injustice. NRS could have done better.… Expand

    What i have bought here is an incomplete game. They make you buy the game which is limited so that you can spend more on dlc to feed their greed. No care for the consumer here at all. No courtousy either to explain the extra time it takes to download portions of the game that remain unlocked. Terribly buggy game as well. Do not waste your time.

    Looks terrific and I like the variety of things they have added. Everything from new fighters, brutalities, krypt, etc. However I am giving it a low score due to the fact it has been delayed for old gen console players. Why? Not paying for an overpriced piece of hardware AND on top of that online service. Not to mention the menu has the MK STORE right at the top. Keep art intact withoutLooks terrific and I like the variety of things they have added.     I prefer Smash Bros this game is terrible the dlc is way too expensive and lots of lag and glitches I use to love this game but now I hate it it looks more like Street fighter not mortal kombat terrble

    Mortal Kombat is dead. It died a long time ago. The last good game was Mortal Kombat Armageddon. Now they've removed most of the characters (some re-added as DLC) and turned a game with a 3D movement range back into a 2D arcade button basher.

No es Correcto Jugar esas Cosas. eso no le agrada a sus padres ni a sus abuelos por ese contenido mas violento y sangriento, La Violencia es Mala. NetherRealm Studios Deberia Cerrarse Para Siempre.     I myself like Sub Zero very much and I always chose Sub Zero, this is a nostalgic game and I know it has many fans and I respect all the fans of this game, but this game lacks something, it needs something to surprise us. It is and I haven't seen anything and I hope Mortal Kombat 11 has improved because I haven't played it yet, but overall this game has a long way to go to get a yellow orI myself like Sub Zero very much and I always chose Sub Zero, this is a nostalgic game and I know it has many fans and I respect all the fans of this game, but this game lacks something, it needs something to surprise us.     The violence is way over the top, so it can't be and shouldn't be taken seriously. Otherwise it's a very solid game with demanding fights.
