    The apocalypse is here, and the gaming industry is making 2019 the year the world ends with games like Metro Exodus, Far Cry New Dawn, Rage 2, and Days Gone. That is just the first half of the year too. The Metro Exodus is the one I was looking most forward out of all of these and for the most part it holds up. Exodus is the third entry of Artyom’s journey through the metro fightingThe apocalypse is here, and the gaming industry is making 2019 the year the world ends with games like Metro Exodus, Far Cry New Dawn, Rage 2, and Days Gone. That is just the first half of the year too. The Metro Exodus is the one I was looking most forward out of all of these and for the most part it holds up. Exodus is the third entry of Artyom’s journey through the metro fighting mutants and bandits alike. Being that this is the third entry they had to turn it up to 11 with this game and take you completely out of the metro this time around; which was an excellent choice.

    The story is a on the road type of apocalypse type of story or in this games case it is a on the rails journey due you travel through Russia via a train the whole game. The game also decided to take literally every single post apocalypse story and cram it into one game. We get the cannibals, religious cult, the baron of a wasteland who controls the gas, and the people who have been trapped in an area and are ignorant to any strangers. You get all that and more!! This does make the story more focused on the characters and their journey and not on any event that was happening unlike Last Light’s Soviet invasion. Artyom still doesn’t talk which truly hurts the scenes where you and Ana (his wife) are supposed to be having heartfelt moments which fall flat because he won’t respond to anything. The worst part of the story is the ending. The ending was cliché and anti-climatic which sucks for something that should be the last in the series of having a lack luster end game.

    The game itself looks and plays great. They introduced this crafting mechanic that isn’t too complicated, but necessary if you want to survive. The crafting makes sense because it is the end of the world there wasn’t going to be any shops laying around for you to buy bullets. One mechanic they introduced I need to see in more games is their human AI. This AI is more tactical and won’t just sit there waiting to be killed they also do something no AI ever does and that is surrender. If you are a killing machine like myself the bandits will drop their guns in which point you can leave them, punch them, or my favorite do a knife execution. The shooting feels nice, but the limited type of guns available meant I really just use the same two throughout most of the story. This time around it is open world which works well with this game. I never did much exploring through the various worlds, so I assume there is much to see I just can’t say for sure.

    Overall it was a good game my only issue is that I don’t know if it’s something that I’d ever go back to. I think that the story never hooked me, and I never ended up caring about the character while the gameplay was fun it wasn’t enough to leave me wanting more. I give this game a nice solid BARGAIN BIN.    … Expand

    A solid and enjoyable game with many flaws, if you love Metro or other single player survival shooters you will love this on it's higher difficulties. It suffers in some areas such as VA and some input lag but makes up for its flaws in spades with the tense gameplay and fantastic world. It's a game you'll enjoy just din't ecpect to be blown away or experience anything revolutionary.

    After finishing Metro Exodus both good and bad ending all I can say is that I love this game. My game has crashed 2 or 3 times, I've had some buggs, I've had frame drops but even after all of that I would still recommend this game. The gameplay is good, the enviroment is lovely, the graphics are amazing but the feeling of this game is what makes it so good!

    Metro Exodus picks up right after the events of Metro 2033 while this furthers the story the game is lack luster at best, while we do get a very much needed QOL improvement in the back pack allowing players to change Only their equipped weapons attachments something that the community has been requesting for Years now. Thats literally it. Everything else about the game is the same from the previous two installments unless you want to count a reskinned arrow launcher over hte first two games. While Im still going to try my damnedest to enjoy this game it has some major flaws that if it wasn't for these I would be rating much higher. I am referring to unskippable cut scenes and having spent the first 20minutes of the game either in a cut scene, stuck in some dialog or stuck in a room unable to move until these NPCs quit circle jerking each other which happened multiple times in just the first 20minutes of game play of which only a minute possibly two were spent actually playing the game having gotten up to go make food, use the facilities or other wise walk away from some boring conversation filler/fluff. This includes the "Hay Artoyms back lets let everyone give a high five" like we all just got done with a big bro fest *shutters as flash backs of high school ensue* This lazy mans attempt of caricature writing seems entirely to optimistic in a world that can only be defined as apocalyptic and dystopian living off of rats and pickled eggs yet were all smiling and not grown men battle hardened crying praying for green fields blue skies a wind without the bitter cold of nuclear radiation and the bitter taste of acid rain that would melt any amount of protective outer wear. Also the beginning seems well lets call it far fetched at best and absurd at worst see the hero returning only to be interrupted by his own people as if the events in the first two games either completely didn't happened or are just being ignored as they literally open fire on Artoym the very person that saved them all.

    And while I havn't gotten to the point where I have Night Vision I can already assume that the same Night Vision Goggles affect exists in this game as it did in the previous incarnations where they all have this weird charging sound when you turn it on for god knows what reason, with the same limited visibility even in the dark having night vision that cant see past 10-15 meters in front of you is not how you do night vision all the while not showing light reflected or refracted off of surfaces like walls all you see is the source in this over overwhelmingly bright greenish white and gray hue, again im assuming that this yet another thing they havn't changed.

    Lastly of course while im nit picking everything thats wrong lets not miss the fact that the game should be called Metro 22,000 as the half life of Plutonium 239 (The main element used in nuclear weapons) has a have life of 22,000Years+- I assume that 2033 or "The Years Following" were more catchy to a focus group?    … Expand

The game so far has been quite brilliant, and enjoyable - a definite play for anyone familiar with the series.

    Unfortunately, there are a couple of points, that really do knock the game down: Surround sound problems, and horrendous AI enemies. Let me expand:

    Regarding the surround sound - the game seems to have some real issues with sound sent to the front speaker. For example, if you hear a gun fight in front of you - you head that way, only to discover that the sound was actually coming from behind! As turning around (after finding no such fight) results in the sound still coming out of the front speaker! Same goes for enemy voices and footsteps at times - I'm not sure if it's intermittent or not, but it's certainly not my setup (works fine on all other games!).

    The enemy AI.... they are either completely stupid, or pinpoint deadly accurate. They also appear to have a sixth sense or something, as you could be hiding in complete darkness, picking their friends off silently; for them to all know exactly where you are! It really destroys immersion when the game does this, and there's no logic to it - I'm in the dark, NV goggles on, no laser pointer, silenced gun, and not seen by their torches - yet, they know exactly were I am!!

    The open world side is welcome, I feel it adds a fair bit more to the game, being able to explorer and find resources, on that front, I miss the different bullet types; that added an nice little touch to the whole 'end of the world' thing - using poor metro-made ammo, vs lovely pre-bombs ammo.    … Expand

    Metro Exodus is really amazing. You can feel that the creators put their soul and love in this game, Its beautiful, fun, exciting and immersive with so many details to see and interact with. 10/10

    Un juego con una gran historia y muy buenos paisajes, pero con una pesima jugabilidad. Quisieron hacer un juego demasiado ambicioso para una desarrolladora tan "indie". Comete errores que en los dos juegos anteriores se podian perdonar, pero que en el año 2019 ya no. Una lastima.

    Game is working fine now with the latest hot fix on PS4. Gun play is really good and atmosphere is impressive like the previous titles. I really think this game deserves at least an 8 Score(If the game were working better at launch, it would be at least 8.5). That's why I am giving an 10 for take the score higher. This game deserves a better score than 6.7. A must play.

Графика куда не шло, но вы видели текстуры опаленных головешек, замерзшего металла и аутдейтед огонь? Политизированность, медлительность главного героя, УЖАСНАЯ озвучка (я не так давно купил приставку, играл во все эксклюзивы инглиш онли и после the last of us видеть это - просто ад..). Немой гг до кучи, сюжет не драйвит, а лишь ставит вопросы "почему?-ведь это так глупо) Некоторые сюжетные элементы членов экипажа высосаны из пальца, в них не веришь (не говоря за "казахскую линию" и такую же "любовную" на коленке в тайге). Господи, я хотел набросать быстрое ревью, но это игра настолько плоха, что поток моего негодования не заканчивается. Я откровенно НЕ ПОНИМАЮ тех баллов критики что она имеет и НЕ СОВЕТУЮ в неё кому либо играть)    … Expand

    Updated my review after some more play time. The first section of the game doesnt do the game justice. I especially did not like the church by the lake and the first open areas you meet. But the game gets a lot better after you leave the first area with the train and winter turns to spring.
    So if you're not liking the beginning, I suggest stick through the first part - it gets better.

    Some players say they have motion sickness, please reduce your mouse sensitivity to 4/10 or lower. It's not about the FOV but is mouse sensitivity too high. I was played this game for whole day, no motion sick and enjoy my game.

    I cannot give full score because the story is good but not the best. I was played the best games such like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5, Red Dead Redemption 2. Metro Exodus has not reached to the masterpiece level.    … Expand

    Быстро из минусов, это:

    Графика, играл на PS4 там все мыльное, виды с далека красивые, но при детальном осмотре все мыльноватое. трупы дергаются, я часто застревал в текстурах, и проваливался под них.

    Механика стрельбы, ужасная, в отзывах её часто упоминают, это сильный недостаток, часто в плотную сложно попасть в противника.

    Главный герой молчит, есть ситуации в которых молчать просто нельзя, но ГГ на это абсолютно плевать хотел, его что-то спрашивают: - он молчит. И это всю игру.

    Из плюсов и крутых особенностей.

    Сюжет: Не хватает звезд с неба, но на очень хорошем уровне, он такой каким должен быть.

    Повествование этого сюжета: Смена локаций, разносортные враги (разные локации - разные враги, меняется не только внешний вид, но и менталитет, жаргон, стиль реагирования на ситуацию) одни могут сдаться в плен, другие будет драться до конца, и агрессивно нападать.

    Персонажи: Почти все ваши спутники не вызывают отвращения и их хочется слушать, меня удивило что диалогов много, гуляя по поезду можно часто натыкаться на долгую дискуссию между NPC.

    РОССИЯ: В России я люблю только 2 вещи, русский язык и природу. Так... вот если с первым пунктом игра не вывозит (я про русскую озвучку персонажей) То природа и тот факт что ты находился в России добавляет минимум 1 балл к общей оценки, но этот бал только для СНГ аудитории.
    Кастомизация, очень простая и интересная микро моменты в виде зажигалки (используется как дополнительное освещение в тандеме с фонариком). В целом игрой доволен, жду более доделанного продолжения.    … Expand

    The game is amazing! Realy, realy good piece of work. Gameplay and immersion top tier. Great story! Have game from relase and beat my first playthroug just yesterday. On hard take me about 30 hours to do so. Defienietly its even better with second approach (ranger hardcore). Exploration, emotions and immersion are performed with great care here. Top graphic.     Definietly worth checkin. Worth play. Just take ur time and enjoy one of the best titles on ps4! Cant go wrond with Metro Exodus. Wanna see some cool dlc!

    Game is 20 out of 10 . No words, im in love with this game. Best thing in the game? ATMOSPHERE - it includes everything in. PLAY ONLY IN HARDEST MODE AVAILIBLE TO REALLY FEEL THE GAME!

    As someone who as a HUGE fan of this series, to say that I was massively disappointed would be a tremendous understatement. This game is absolute garbage and completely unplayable for consoles. The devs act like a few tv settings will fix the massive input lag problems which is complete lies and worries me that they have no fix.     Начну с того,что я не фанат серии игр Метро,и 1-2 части прошёл в составе издания Metro Redux. Первая часть показалась мне слабой,а вторая - получше и немного игра мне зашла,полностью прошёл первые две части игры.Книг по серии Метро Дмитрия Глуховского я не читал.И вот я узнал,что готовится 3я часть игры под названием «Исход»,все трейлеры игры смотрел с жадностью и очень ждал игру,поНачну с того,что я не фанат серии игр Метро,и 1-2 части прошёл в составе издания Metro Redux. Первая часть показалась мне слабой,а вторая - получше и немного игра мне зашла,полностью прошёл первые две части игры.Книг по серии Метро Дмитрия Глуховского я не читал.И вот я узнал,что готовится 3я часть игры под названием «Исход»,все трейлеры игры смотрел с жадностью и очень ждал игру,по трейлерам она мне очень понравилась.Наступила дата релиза и я радостный купил специальное издание аврора,к слову издание просто шикарнейшее. К моменту написания этого отзыва,а сегодня 28 февраля,я прошёл полностью Метро Исход и могу поделиться впечатлениями об этой игре. Начну с плюсов: Офигенно красивая картинка на PS4 (играл на PS4 Slim),очень красивые пейзажи и локации,наблюдал и рассматривал каждый уголочек с большим удовольствием,местами картинка даже завораживала,также очень крутая динамическая смена погоды.Окружающая обстановка,оружие,персонажи,предметы - отлично детализированы и тоже очень красиво смотрятся. Далее,отличная оптимизация игры на PS4,проседания FPS заметил только в начале игры,когда смотрел как от колесных пар Авроры выходит дым (пар?) ,в миссии,когда угонял Аврору,и это продлилось буквально пару секунд,и потом на протяжении всей игры я больше проседании FPS не заметил. Идём дальше,отличный стелс режим ,кастомизация оружия,большой выбор оружия. Великолепная механика и физика игры. Играя в эту игру на PS4 я не встретил серьёзных багов,только мелкие баги связанные с животными,текстурами, в очень редких случаях,например я убил мутанта и после смерти он лежал и у него очень сильно сердце билось как будто оно хочет выскочить)) Или же я прошёл насквозь через текстуру вагона в одном из локации))
    Музыкальное сопровождение игры очень и очень хорошее.
    Теперь из минусов : Очень плохая Русская озвучка! Прям Ужасная! Я до последнего надеялся,что они не повторят своих прошлых ошибок,но увы,озвучка просто курам на смех,моментами я просто начинал смеяться от абсурда)
    Средний сюжет,который не дотягивает до сильного. Я считаю,если бы разработчики нашли грамотного и сильного сценариста - все было бы намного лучше ( Не в обиду Дмитрию Глуховскому,just facts)
    Персонажи,к которым особо то ничего и не испытываешь, сильно не сопереживаешь,опять же это вопросы к сценарию.
    Слабые побочные задания.
    Несмотря на все минусы,ставлю твёрдые 8 баллов из 10,игра заслуживает внимания каждого уважающего себя геймера. Игра интересная,принесёт массу удовольствия и крутого экспириенса.Концовка игры очень сильно вывезла всю игру и подарила яркие впечатления. Кто сомневается ,однозначно покупайте игру! Bad luck mother **** cause your melee skills are not worth a damn thing. Hit the enemies with your rifle, die and try again, cause that melee fighting wont do you any good!

    The voice acting is TERRIBLE, and I was cringing my way through every dialogue. "Artyom, Artyom, Artyom" every time you talk to someone, for some reason they mention your name in every line. It's hard to like the other characters in the game, when the voice acting is so damn terrible, which had a huge impact on the way the story affects you. Tbh, i was hoping that his wife would die, so i wouldnt have to listen to her terrible voice acting anymore.

    Most importantly: This game is not fun. I know this is a very individual thing, but i didn't enjoy the game, and had VERY few moments where i actually had fun. The slow controls, the bad fighting mechanics, bad aiming and shooting (which results in you just running away from enemies all the time, because you can't **** kill them and you don't wanna waste your ammo on not hitting anything) the sloppy voice acting. I didnt enjoy this game and barely had any fun. I just felt like a had to get to the end of it, and didnt care about what i was doing on the way there.

    Отличная игра от украинских разработчиков. Да встречались баги но атмосфера и повествование сюжета перекрывают все эти минусы. Игра отлично симулирует выживание в постапокалиптическом мире, ты начинаешь переживать за всю команду.
    То что Артём не говорит, это конечно странное решение.

    What I'd like from the next game? Hunter, a still slightly psychopathic Metro 2034 Hunter. And Khan. And a little more supernatural stuff.    … Expand

    bored because maps too big, why is that a bad thing? it's not like they are boring empty maps, there's plenty to explore and enemies are everywhere, i'm only on the first big map of the game where it's all snow and the train stops. haven't found myself wondering around with nothing to do yet

    - graphics, mechanics, bugs and glitches are like I'm playing a game from 2012.
    - the acting it's like you are watching a movie on nikelodeon.

Besides the fact that there is almost NO gameplay for the first 30 minutes of the game, with long, overwrought, repetitive dialogue scenes, this game is one of the most buggy I have ever played. I couldn't even get past the first open-world stage of the game because the stupid boat doesn't move in the water even though he rows andI don't know how this game has gotten any positive reviews.     За мкадом жизни нет я смотрю на улицу и в игру все точь в точь кроме одного мы пока ходим без противогазов ну и до этого скоро до живём, кто то писал что диалоги стали плохими как по мне дак в России диалогов как таковых нет опять хорошо атмосферу передали так что моя оценка 10 ядерных грибов из 10    Игра отлично передала нынешнюю атмосферу России

    You know what guys. With all the visual glitches (there *are* some), and with being a bit rough around the edges at time (but not much, really) - please find me a game as original as this one. From weapons, to an actual STORY and actual dialogs which would ACTUAL people would hold (and which you can listen to for minutes - if you'd like - which I totally did and enjoyed them a whole lot,You know what guys.     Come on… name me one game that's so unlike the others, surely maybe more polished, but oh-so-average and no-risk stuff that was coming out in this genre for last few years. I would say maybe Horizon Zero Dawn would be one. But can't really name anything else, that's so completely out of this old "standard" approach to the FPS genre.

    I can understand technical issues (but I really had nothing game-breaking or any noticeable frame rate issue - but I must say I'm on a PS4 Pro) - but jeezus. With all that said, I really can't get enough of the FRESHNESS of the game - again, weapons, locations, dialogs, customization even. Do give the game a try. I personally had a blast and thankful for companies like 4A doing what they're doing, without trying to please everyone with STANDARD and boring af formulas (and no risk-taking)    … Expand

Игра мне понравилась, но есть не большие не доработки, завис заложник, я не мог его освободить, а вспышку хотелось получить, я перепроходил всю главу из-за этого.(Всех врагов я убил).Еще была ситуация, когда я проходил игру получилось так, что у меня остался 1 фильтр и не было ресурсов, из-за сохранения главу не перепроходил.В целом игра очень хорошая, атмосфернее игры я не видел, превосходит предыдущие части, еще есть проблема с оптимизацией, падает fps когда проходишь мимо дыма, но я надеюсь это исправят, игра длинная(играл 30 часов), не знаю почему все жалуются "на псевдо открытый мир", мир можно сказать полностью открыт...Есть несколько концовок, лично я получил хорошую, мне понравилось.И еще не идеальное управление.     Great game with great story. Excellent graphics. There are some minor quality issues but they do not block gaming. I rate this game higher even than Withcer3 - so - highly recommended!

    - Some of the mutant enemies feel weird to shoot at...

    Good story and gameplay when there were no frame rate, popping textures and audio issues but there were a lot of issues, I'm sure in time these will all be fixed but there is no reason for releasing a game in this state, I'm giving an 8 instead of a 6 like I feel I should because I'm sure it will eventually get there (fingers crossed)

Я горжусь тем, что купил Метро Исход и прохожу её, чувствуя все переживания персонажей и обследуя все локации вдоль и поперек.     Love it. More Metro to the people! Very immersive and for people complaining about "bad voice acting with Russian accents", change the audio to Russian with english subtitles like it is meant to be played. Way more immersive and much better voice acting there... I do agree that 30 FPS locked mode is a bad choice, the PS4 Pro should at least have the abiity for 60FPS and lower res...

    I really love the metro games this one is a fine addition my only real issues are when you load up the game on PS4 for the first time it takes way to long to boot up. I have also experienced some visual glitches fighting bandits were they would run across air to another place and have found bandits sleeping on couches with only their head sitting on it.

As a survival game, it's all about weighing your options in any given scenario based on how much ammo you have, air filters, health packs and all that other good stuff. The nature of the game is the ever-present tension of knowing that each of your resources count so if you decide to go guns blazing in one encounter where stealth was an option, you may find yourself in a ''forced shootout'' shortly afterwards wishing you had slit a couple of throats rather than spraying your AK at all the goons you met just before or avoided the pack of irradiated wolf **** haha. I think if you enter this game knowing these things you're a lot less likely to get frustrated or surprised by any of it. Otherwise it might make you decide that despite the game looking cool it just might not be for you, the same way PUBG isn't for me even though it's also a first-person shooter. Different strokes for different folks as they say. I wouldn't go review bomb a game that I don't understand or that straight up wasn't made for the type of gamer I happen to be.

    Now as for THIS particular entry in the series, my thoughts are as follows:

    PROS
    - First off the graphics are staggering at times. Some lower resolution textures here and there but nothing overly noticeable. The lighting is particularly impressive, even at night.
    - The newly added feature of semi open world design is far more interesting than I originally anitcipated. They managed to make exploration (something that was hardly present in the previous games) quite rewarding.
    - Speaking of rewarding... LOOT. They have a pretty rewarding system in place for this game. You find weapons AND weapon parts and attachments spread out everywhere throughout your travels. New types of gadgets and consumables, new types of air filters, body suits, ammo pouches and other such components. Every time I see an abandoned house or cave or whatever I end up finding something of great use to me. I always look forward to looking for my next favorite gun or attachment.
    - The weapon modding is really quite flexible. Just to give you an idea, I turned a six-shooter revolver into an awkward yet functional stubby little silenced sniper rifle that saved me more than a few bullets while sneaking about.
    - You have the choice to take on situations as you please. There is a day and night cycle that is used for more than just an aesthetic change. During the day human enemies are more active and common, whereas at night the creepy critters of the wasteland are far more active forcing you to either spend a lot of ammo on taking care of them or slowly crawling through mud and bushes in the hopes that the pack of watchmen just south of you doesn't spot you and scream for backup. there is also a karma system in place where your decisions affect your ending. Sometimes human enemies will even surrender when they notice that their friends are dropping like flies around them and feel like you're too badass for them to handle. At that point it's your choice whether to leave them to their fate, finish them off or knock them out.
    - The gunplay is also really satisfying in my opinion. They feel weighty, loud and wildly powerful. The sound design is a big part of why they have such a satisfying crunch to them.
    - Finally, for fans of the series, The story is really good. The why and the how to this adventure beginning makes a lot of sense and is really engaging. Some occasionally awkward dialogue, but pretty forgiveable as it's translated from Russian. Interesting characters as well.

    CONS

    - The AI is sometimes dumb as holy hell. This is coming from me playing on Hardcore difficulty too. I'll end up playing on the hardest Ranger Hardcore difficulty at some point but I doubt it'll be much much better. Though they are pretty dumb they ARE, however, lethal. Death is always close in this game.
    - Sometimes clunky controls. Might get smoothed out with some patches.
    - Steep learning curve for anyone not familiar with the series or the survival genre.
    - Occasionally campy dialog.
    - Some framerate dips here and there but nothing like what some people have been claiming.

    Pretty much if you've played the previous Metro games like I have and enjoyed them, then buy this. If you didn't enjoy the old ones then I can't guarantee you'll enjoy this.     The game on PS4 is absolute a joke! Frame rate horrible, bugs any time, npc floatinhg in screen, audio not synchronized with the characters. Loading times than more one hour. Wrong codes for the Expassion Pass, and the european version don't have the option to change the subtitles to portuguese-brazilian.

    Metro is a good game. But there are some bugs. Sometimes I had to start over the level! But after ending I realized how great the game is. My rating 10. If you like games about post-Apocalypse you should not miss Metro Exodus!

    So all in all a fantastic game. The graphics are by far the best I’ve seen in a game thus far. The mechanics are very crisp and clean. Story is compelling and we all know the voice acting could have been a little better but I thought it was better than most people were saying it was.     Повествование — что и какими словами говорят NPC, дневник и пр. — косноязычная печаль.

    Анимация NPC — удивительно видеть такое в ДВЕ ТЫСЯЧИ ДЕВЯТНАДЦАТОМ году.

    The game is amazing, it has nice atmosphere and great design overall. Nice weapon customization and the story is really good, this is probably the best Metro game in the series, i really love it. Many of the reviews that are with "0" are from people that are angry that the game is not on "Steam" and review "bomb" it on all kind of reviewing websites, don't trust them.

Its obvious the game was not ready to ship and still needed ALOT of work...just in 3hrs of play I've had to reset the game atleast 10 different times because I somehow clip into a wall or a car frame and cannot get out of it, I get stuck in a crouch position. There have been countless instances where the character gets stuck on nothing just trying to back up, the boat driving is hot garbage you will get stuck and have to back up before you can go forward again....This game is a mess, it seriously needed more polish and bug checking...The fanboys can try to praise it all they want but the game is half broken and you shouldn't have to walk on egg shells or do basic tasks gingerly just to not get stuck in some geometry… Expand

    Great shooter from 4A Games, fantastic graphics location and storyline, but to many times I had a feeling I was playing Far Cry and I was bored. Honestly I prefered previous parts and small locations in there, so then you feel this huge atmosphere. That's why many people loved Metro universe.

    -The FOV is a bit too narrow for my taste, and it could do with a slider, but like the sensitivity I stopped noticing it pretty quickly.
    -Some of the face models look a bit weird, but they're mostly fine.

    Now, here's what I DID like about the game:
    -Story is fantastic, and only gets better the further in you go.
    -The characters are very good, and you can actually see them develop throughout the story (even in Artyom, who's basically mute).
    -The combat is tense and satisfying. The human AI isn't really anything to write home about, but I greatly enjoyed the beasts AI.
    -The addition of the backpack and workbenches greatly helped the game, especially in the open levels.
    -The open levels were huge, atmospheric, and very detailed. It should be noted that if you simply rush through the story missions of these, then you're not getting the full experience. I implore you to go out and explore, it's very satisfying. (Side note: your binoculars have a hidden feature that reveals unexplored locations on the map. Look around with your binoculars on maximum zoom until you hear a click, then hold down R2 until it's done. This really helps with finding new places.)
    -The game is graphically beautiful, and is near orgasmic to look at.
    -The game is extremely atmospheric, possibly even more so than the last two games.
    -The sound design is pretty good, though I did notice they recycled a few sound effects from the last games.
    -Whoever did the first person animations in this game deserves a raise. I cringed (in a good way) whenever a spider was crawling on me, and they greatly improved Artyoms body language. All the other animations were very good as well.
    -Your choices have actual consequences. Not in a, "Oh, you were a bad boy Artyom, no good ending for you!" sort of way, but there was a clear line of logic between your choices and their results.
    -Not gonna spoil the ending, but it was fan-flippin-tastic. Literally one of the most tense moments in the game consisted of holding down R2, and it almost made me cry a manly tear.
    -Seems the game has a fair bit of replayability, and i'm looking forward to my second run.

    In summary, it's a damn good game, and I highly recommend it. It's definitely worth full price.    … Expand

    I love the concept behind this game but it is littered with inexcusable voice acting, the plot point is hard to follow mostly because I sit there cringing at the terrible Russian accents, my cat could do a better job, and all the npcs talk over each other.
    I don’t understand the gameplay. It’s like playing rainbow 6 siege on a dail up connection as you sprey your targets with limited ammo and they kill you with one shot or claw.
    I don’t mind the open linear approach to any game but this feels like a lie. It encourages you to play safe. If you go up against more than one enemy you are going to die. The game then rewards you further by taking an age to reload.
    I really wanted this to be an amazing game, but for me it’s not. I think I’ll be doing an early trade in and going for far cry new dawn instead.    … Expand

    1) Графика вообще не поменялась, по сравнению с прошлыми частями.
    2) Анимация персонажей тоже неизменна
    3) Упоротые тайминги в диалогах персонажей
    4) Озвучка персонажей сделана словно ПТУшниками (Да, знаю, что не ПТУ, а колледж).
    5) В диалогах часто присутствуют лишние символы и "очепятки". Очень неприятно читать, когда в диалоге присутствуют знаки ">", словно диалог скопировали из текстового редактора и вставили игру, даже не проверяя за собой работу.
    6) Управление очень рваное и дерганое, никакие настройки не помогают.
    7) Просто достал баг с нерабочим фонариком (он просто не горит, а зарядка динамомашиной не происходит). Нет, рядом нет радиации, нет запретной зоны! Разработчики просто спешили быстро-быстро сдать проект и забить на него
    8) Очень часто в темных помещениях при резком повороте возникают фиолетово-синие артифакты ( Миссия, где спасаем Анну из бункера ).
    9) Последний гвоздь в крышку гроба вогнали баги с НПС, застревающими в текстурах. Катя застряла у входа в "Аврору" и не давала зайти. Из-за автосохранения перед этим моментом пришлось загружать сохранение в самом начале уровня.
    10) Про притормаживания и жуткие проседания в фпс на PS4 Pro вообще молчу. Как попадаешь в дым, так и начинаешь играть в пошаговую стратегию.
    11) Пропадают патроны для "Тихарь". Было 51 + 9 шариков, погибаю, загружаюсь и уже резко 10+9.

    Итог: игру отложил на полку, буду ждать пару месяцев, может хоть в людской вид приведут. Очень обидно, очень!    … Expand

    Metro exodus the third game in the series and a continuation straight out of the secret ending of first light after you the main protagonist survived the events of first light with the nazis and the dark ones you started searching for an outside place without mutants monsters or radiation so you can build a colony outside of the metro and so you find out that Moscow is radio blocked and that are more people in the world not just you and that starts your adventure

    pros:
    - i really liked the change of paste yes the game is eaiser than the others but yet its challenging and aggressive

    - i like that the game is realistic and the fact that your gun will jam if it will get dirty or you being able to patch your mask if it breaks

    - the graphics are just wow i am amazed at how this game looks realistic

    -guns feel amazing and the new crossbow is a cool add on to the mix

    -the open world and the freedom you get is just wow you are able to just explore the world without anyone bugging you about things

    -this game is R Rated which means they don"t hold back and i really like that i can actually feel like i am trying to survive at any cost

    -the new weapon crafting system is awesome and adds a lot more searching the world for parts and new things

    - the Russian dubbing is really good i recommend you to switch voice to Russian and subs to English

    - the new day and night time mechanic is really awesome basically giving you the freedom to decide at what time to strike enemies and travel outside

    cons

    -because of the new crafting system the game got a lot easier and you are harder to kill

    -there is one map where they give you a car to travel by which is pointless in my opinion i just walked off and explored everything i prefer it that way

    -the loading screen is just awful it feels like forever until the game loads up

    - story is pointless and you loose your main goal very early on and then just forget at some point what are you even doing

    -the game is clunky and has a lot of bugs fps drops rendering issues that they have to fix

    -the game is a lot more slow paste then the previous ones sometimes in the bad way

    - the game feels a little bit to short i finished it after 15 hours of exploring and searching everything i guess in this day and age 15 hours is nothing for me and i really wanted more time with this game

    - the people you meet on the way are mostly just crazed lunatics and i really wish you could meet more people to whom you can relate

    - the new mutants are an awesome mix to the roster of mutants and monsters but most are recycled and most of the new ones are plain boring so i really wished they could add better and scarier ones

    - this game took the whole survival aspect to a bad way because you can fix your mask unlike the previous games where you could just take a new one from a dead body or you can just craft bullets which makes this game less scary and you to more of a tank

    -another thing that bothered me is a mechanic they basically recycled from last light and its the do good get the good ending or do bad get the bad ending mechanic more or less like dishonored if you kill your bad but if you knock out your good i really hated the fact that they added this mechanic to the game because unlike last light there is no one there to prove your kindness to and it just effects some peoples reactions and how they talk to you and the ending which was kinda horrible and pointless

    in conclusion this game is a good change of paste but its really different from the other two its more open and you can travel and scavenge stuff and feel like you are trying to just survive but then you pull out your crafting backpack and craft the essentials that you need like air filters or first aid i really liked the game and its realism but somethings just kinda ruined it for me and that brings me to the final score i had a hard time pinning the final score to this game because the series is very close to my heart but i have to be honest about the score so my final score to metro exodus is a 7.5 out of ten it was almost a 8 but there are things in this game that are just not right and the story should have been better    … Expand

    When I pay £50 for a game I actually want to PLAY THE GAME, not sit watching and listening to dodgy Russian accents. And when you do get to play, it usually does most of it for you. Load times are unbelievable, at first I was thinking it had crashed. Will continue with it to see if it improves but my patience is running thin.

    Amazing game, the atmosphere is rich and engaging. It is nice and tense with a real sense of dread. I really enjoyed the previous 2 Metro games but this is by far the best of them. With the semi open world giving you every moment to explore with meaningful and relevant places. I love everything about it. Deep Silver has really given us a masterpiece.

    This game has to have the most abysmal controls I have every dealt with in a video game! The controls are so clunky and there is such a ridiculous input lag that this game should have never been released in this state. Shame on all the video game journalists for not warning us about this. Thankfully I just redboxed this and this mistake only cost me a few dollars.

    Всё очень топорно. Стрельба ужасная, сюжет деревянный, оптимизация даже на ps4 pro катастрофическая. Постоянно то здесь, то там фпс падает до 15-ти. И добивает эту картину псевдоним открытый мир, в котором всё реализовано через жопу. В то время, когда мы видим невероятно реалистичные и круто поставленные западные проекты Metro Exodus на их фоне выглядит подделкой.Всё очень топорно.     Great game has to be a 10 alot of work gone into this. Amazing graphics attention to detail is superb would of been incredible in 60fps but does the job in 30fps on the ps4 pro.Story is good not brillant to much dialog at times. Gunplay pretty awesome with aim asset off everygun feels different and very different to any other generic fps.if your a fan of the series this is a must buy.     Это ужас ребята, я очень и очень сильно расстроен. Я не знаю чем были заняты разработчики эти годы... Начнем с минусов:
    1) Анимация персонажей... это крах, аля 2008 год... Прощалось в предыдущих частях(и то там было лучше) ибо не было бюджета сейчас... я хз

    I know there are a lot of fans of the series, i never played the first two, how ever, i know they couldn't of been as bad as this one, there was so much story jammed into the first 30 minutes or so of this game, with awkward voice acting and awkward story telling to the point where it didn't make sense.     Having moved the action away from the dark tunnels of Moscow's underground onto a train, going into the unknown and forced to make stops throughout the journey, Metro Exodus' authors created a memorable interactive adventure consisting of happiness from discovering love and grief from irreplacebale loss, hope of better future and despair from understanding the truth. On top of that one might call Exodus a distorting mirror that reveals the most horrible sins of mysterious Russian soul: heresy and servilism.

    Overall, Metro Exodus is an enjoyable shooter. Taking Metro out of the Metro is a good move for the series, but the game still provides plenty of claustrophobic locations for those who enjoyed the dark tunnel crawls of Metro games past. The ammunition system is still limited, but it feels better managed and more forgiving this time out, although I can still see it as being frustrating to some players. If you haven't played a Metro game before or were put off by the games in the past, give Metro Exodus a chance. You can catch this train running and enjoy the ride.
