    The best game trilogy of all time with moderately notable improvements to the last two games and very solid improvements to the first game which needed a face-lift the most, and makes it much more playable in modern times.

    I can’t believe that there are not unlimited subtitles available yet on games. I expect to see this issue bring down the user rating of everyone to zero. The game itself though is great.

    Simply the best gaming experience for anyone, ever.

    If you like Science Fiction, even if you don't like video games, you NEED to play this trilogy.

    Brilliant work BioWare, so many loving touches done, you can see you put heaps of effort in!!

    How do you do a remake? This is how! The greatest Saga in gaming history finally made its way to 4k and 60fps! I'm really impressed with how Bioware upgraded Mass effect 1-3 and made much needed improvements to an already legendary series. I loved mass effect in 2008 and love it even more now. A must buy for any gamer.

    BEST GAME EVER. With a terrible canon ending. The best ending is obviously the blue one. They are probably going to go with the red one for the plot of the forth game. Who cares. Awesome story with even more awesome characters. Thank you for everything, Bioware.

    Amazing trilogy, very good remaster.

    Some Russians are complaining about the dub, sorry for them, but the game doesn't change from 9-10 to 0-1. Just be fair with the score, complain to EA or play it in English. The games are still 10/10.

    Great release, ME1 is greatly improved, all three games feel the same as they did before, was definitely waiting for this one since i've bought my ps4. Nostalgia hits hard though, i am almost crying every time i'm playing having flashbacks from 13-10 years ago. Thanks EA.

    I seldom give a score of 10 to any game but ME Legendary Edition is truly astounding, especially if you're already a fan. If you're a 10 year old Fortnite player you'll probably hate it. That makes me love it even more.

    The mass effect trilogy I think is easily one of the best games ever made, it is Bioware at their best, the game world even by todays standards is mind blowing the amount of detail they put into even the smallest things, the soundtrack is perfect and omg the writing is some of the best there is in the industry and so funny (depending on choices) I have always been a massive fan of the 1stThe mass effect trilogy I think is easily one of the best games ever made, it is Bioware at their best, the game world even by todays standards is mind blowing the amount of detail they put into even the smallest things, the soundtrack is perfect and omg the writing is some of the best there is in the industry and so funny (depending on choices) I have always been a massive fan of the 1st game, it has more (traditional) rpg mechanics than the other 2 and I always preferred the weapons system as well and at the time of release it was so ahead of its time I still remember running around the citadel for the first time with my jaw on the ground with the epic music and that feeling very quickly returned, the mako planet exploring as well I think was such a nice addition and now looks amazing! the 2nd game removed some of the rpg stuff and went down more the 3rd person shooter route, simpler weapons system etc, but keeps the feeling of the original and adds so much more, the 3rd game now in its current state as they done alot of work to improve the ending from the original release is a nice end to the trilogy, its great how the simplest doesnt seem that important choice made in game 1 can have massive consequences in later games, playing on ps5 I personally chose to favour resolution and all 3 games look amazing in 4k they done an amazing job bringing the visuals up to todays tv's ( i think i played the original on 360 on a crt through scart connection.... lol) but this is subjective and it seemed to easily run at 60fps in performance with no notable drops, I was genuinely shocked how well me3 still stands up visually today just like the other 2 games all were so ahead of their time (although the 1st game now blown up to 4k the faces do show their age abit but it was so impressive at the time), and with all dlc included for all 3 games you get the amazing citadel dlc for me3 which has got to be up there with the greatest dlcs ever made, if you fell in love with the world /chars and enjoy/ laugh at the Bioware writing you will love it, after finishing the 3rd game I sat there for a while thinking about how its actually quite a sad thing what alot of games have become, technically/visually stunning but so many mindless multiplayer generic maps, so many yearly updates, charging money for a skin as big companies try to squeeze every penny they can out of their generic games, no originality, what happened to the amazing creativity that these games show, (my only little complaint is something that drove me mad back when me3 was first released was not being able to holster your weapon in combat zones was kinda hoping they had enabled that but its just a silly personal annoyance)

    Bioware has come through for fans with this Legendary Edition of the best video game trilogy of all time. They greatly improved #1, and #2 & #3 never looked better. It’s great to have all of the DLC included. It was a great experience playing all of them back-to-back, did it in 6 days. I didn’t realize how much I missed these games. This is a great collection- that includes ME2- my 2ndBioware has come through for fans with this Legendary Edition of the best video game trilogy of all time.     Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition

    This is the first time I’ve played the full game of ME1 in 2021- but I’ve played #2 & 3 many times in the past. I liked #1 quite a bit, although it’s a bit short. There’s only a few main missions. It definitely adds to the Mass Effect story. There’s a bit too much time in the Mako, and too many elevators. The gameplay is much improved to be close to #2 & #3. The graphics are better- except human’s faces in cutscenes. Overall I liked it pretty well- it was better than I thought. I will play it again the next time I want to experience the Mass Effect world.

    Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition

    Simply put- ME2 is one of the best games of all time! In my top 5. Shepard is at her best in this one. It’s great building your crew and going on loyalty missions for them. There’s such a wide variety of missions- never gets boring. It’s a great action rpg. There are great boss fights- but the worst enemies for me are those darn husks! It builds up to a great ending mission- although it stinks losing some of your crew. The 4k graphics look great- especially in several face models like Thane. It builds well off of ME1 and leads well to ME3. It’s the best in the series by far- but you should play all 3 games to truly experience the ME world. I’ve played this many, many times- and I highly recommend!

    Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition

    ME3 ends the trilogy on a good note. Although I like ME2 better, there’s a lot going for #3. It has more action than the other two games. It also has many improvements- such as graphics, gameplay, and little elements like being able to use the omnitool to bypass doors, jumping across gaps, etc. Bioware was at its height of game making with this one. I must say the characters in #2 were much better except for Liara. Most people don’t like the ending, but I don’t mind it- especially with the extended cut. This rounds out the Legendary Edition well- and it’s a must to play all three games.    … Expand

    I'm from Belgium and the game does not have Dutch voice acting with Flemisch subtitles. And the subtitles are in white and I want them in light green. How dare you, bioware ! The gaming market in Belgium is one of the largest of the Benelux. Shame on you ! Oh, and otherwise.... great game :-)

    Can’t speak for Russia and the review bombing but for the American version, this is a solid 10 in every way. The greatest video game trilogy ever remastered, and each game looks amazing. Would recommend to anyone who has or hasn’t played them before.

    Bioware and EA delivered what was promised - the graphics, mechanic and combat improvements are all very pleasing in the remaster version. Thank you for the opportunity for living the legend of Shepard one more time. Absolutely worth it.

    I remembered that Mass Effect-trilogy was the greatest game-trilogy ever made. It still is!
    Now it is even better. Graphics and physics (Mako) in the ME1 are so much better and ME2 and ME3 are also a bit better. I can live with censored butt scenes although i don't quite understand why.
    Why don't they make games like Mass Effect-trilogy anymore?

This game is legendary and one of the best games ever made, it is worth every $. You wont regret, ull enjoy every minute of it, u have really things to see!     This game is nostalgic and well made. I'm very satisfied with my own playthrough as an Engineer class. Was worthwhile adding a mod in ME2 to remove the weapon limitations and gain access to all weapons even as Engineer. In my own experience, I'm probably going to play it again as a Biotic.

    I never played Mass effect, and I tried in this new edition. It was the best game I played this year. I was addicted from the start. I did not have any bug which it means they took their time to fix everything and the DLC were great as well. But I confess the best is mass effect 2, the renegate options are more fun than for the 1 or 3 games. Also the interaction with characters is the best.

    A Classic, a game that you don’t want it to end, ( opposite feeling of what I have with AC games where you suffer with their unnecessary length and grinding ), this game is the only reason I got a 360 back then and now I can replay them on my ps5 , so happy they made it.

    Masterpiece in every level. I’ve been gaming since 1996 and nothing even comes close to how epic this trilogy is, and the Legendary Edition is the definitive way to experience it.

    I had never done the original trilogy at the time. It was therefore an excellent opportunity for me to take and make the legendary edition and what a slap. Not only is the story exciting, but also the characters are extremely well written and endearing. I finished the trilogy recently and I already miss Normandy. Congratulations to bioware for creating three exciting and exciting games next time.

Ademas de mejorar enormemente la calidad del primer mass effect, también han mejorado pequeños detalles de la 2da y 3ra entrega. ¿Te gustan las buenas historias con personajes carismáticos y la toma de decisiones? entonces este es tu tipo de juego. Lo jugué en una ps4 slim y no tuve problemas. Me hubiese gustado que diesen la posibilidad de tenerSimplemente debes jugar esta recopilación. Ademas de mejorar enormemente la calidad del primer mass effect, también han mejorado pequeños detalles de la 2da y 3ra entrega. ¿Te gustan las buenas historias con personajes carismáticos y la toma de decisiones? entonces este es tu tipo de juego.     This is my first time playing mass effect (1-3) and i personally think the gameplay kinda sucks. It is too easy, sometimes clunky and skills are in all games the same (with the addition of a few skills and weapons). But I still give this game a 10 for the amazing story. I had heard the story was good but playing it for myself I find it amazing. Now I see why Andromeda was kinda bad in comparison..

    This game made me laugh, content, angry, satisfied and cry. I dont say this lightly its amazing depending on who is buying the game. My review is more for someone who has never played Mass Effect not that person who has played them all    First time i ever played a Mass Effect game for years i just didnt get round to it and thought nothing of the hype but i was wrong so so so so wrong.

My review is more for someone who has never played Mass Effect not that person who has played them all before and wants to know if its worth buying the Legendary Edition.

    Mass Effect one had the most work done on it from what i have read and for a game as old as it is it plays well kinda. the combat is very clunky but its more worth playing for the story telling side of it just so you can understand who shepherd is where he came from and why hes here. Its short and honestly enjoyable its just not a modern game regardless of what they do with it but i cant say it looks worst than say Skyrim.

    Mass Effect 2 is where it just became amazing i love this game its emotional and the combat had a huge huge upgrade the gunplay is fun and the choices in the game really make you think about what you are doing and how you are doing it. graphically its great and its much much smoother than the first.

    Mass Effect 3 is a Weird one at first i was a little taken back by it because theres parts in the game that reminded me of 1 which i think should of maybe stayed there. and things they left behind in 2 which should of come to 3. for example the whole paragon and renegade system just didnt seem as relevant and important as they did in the first 2 but combat, graphics and voice acting was much better.

    Should you buy the Legendary Edition? Yes.

    For people revisiting the game its the perfect package to relive this series in a way that would be bareable because i dont think i could of played the original first game in 2021 not without all the rework. For new players YES YES youve got to play this if you are into Sci Fi its honestly a dream you will fall in love with your crew i have never in my life played a video game and been so invested in the characters. i genuinely was at a point of the thought of risking one of there lives i just couldnt do i made so many choices just so i could keep my team save even if that meant making decisions that morally i didnt agree with. The worlds and lore of the series is a masterpiece this is the video game equivalent to LOTR and Harry Potter in my opinion the Alien Races, Worlds, Cultures and Shepherd are just so indepth you will lose yourself. When i completed these games the only way i can remember feeling the way i felt was when i finished the US Office. 9 Seasons and for it just to end i had a hole in my chest i could only fill by starting it again at Season 1 Episode 1.    … Expand

    The main selling point of the franchise is the many improvements made to the outdated Mass Effect 1. Now, are these changes drastic? Yes. Is the combat better than 2 and 3? Hell no.

    Adding on the absurd amount of achievements that can be reached, (for large pools of points) this collection is amazing for returning fans, and new ones alike.

    Even if you've recently played the games, it's still worth the $50-$60USD for the many improvements.

    This is how a remaster should be made, and other companies ought to be ashamed for full priced remasters months after the game's release. You know who I'm talking about.    … Expand

    I love Mass Effect and I go through a whole play through every few years. This version will be the one I run with from now on. Its got everything (except Pinnacle Station and Multiplayer) included and so many improvements from textures, lighting, combat, vehicles, cover, and load times. Right now, I am starting ME3 and I am having so much damn fun. This game is great....unless you speakI love Mass Effect and I go through a whole play through every few years.     Amazing opportunity for new players to enjoy the trilogy. First game is remastered very well. As for the games the slowly unfolding mystery, good sounds, good written characters and interactions between npcs makes it a good game. Especially the second game, damn masterpiece

    I never played these games when they originally came out. I'm not a Sci fi fan, never seen a star wars. But this game trilogy may just be the best games I have ever played (especially ME2). The gameplay is extremely fun, the character are interesting and likeable and well acted. Nearly all you actions have consequences even the smaller ones you think nothing of, they also carry over toI never played these games when they originally came out.     I am just 10 hours into the game (ME1), but I can already see this becoming my favourite game. I never played the original, so this remaster is a great way for me to get into the ME series. I was afraid that the game would feel dated, but that wasn't the case at all.     Loved the original trilogy and this remaster has tweaked the game to feel more modern and the combat in Mass Effect 1 has been improved greatly! The guns have more punch and sound excellent now! The sniper rifle is actually usable! They added a little sprint mechanic when not in combat now (THANK YOU)! This is a must have if you loved any of the games in the trilogy.

It was a very different age in many ways.

    Bioware{s Mass Effect was highly regarded when it was released in 2007, and rightfully so. It was an ambitious title, limited only by the technology of the day. A wildly imaginative space opera, filled with incredible lore, beautifully realized characters and wonderful writing. The gameplay was good enough, but the game design and world-building set it apart from anything we had seen before. Characters like Garrus and Liara would become as iconic as any characters in the pantheon of science fiction. The Normandy would become as well-known as the Enterprise. Shepard as admired as Kirk.

    With a sure-fire hit on their hands, the company put everything they had into the next installment. Mass Effect 2 is that rare and precious commodity, a sequel that takes the best of its predecessor and elevates it to legendary status. An incredible achievement. Sadly at the time, to get the most out of it, you were forced to buy the DLC, so that you could reunite with Liara and enjoy some of the most thrilling storylines in the saga. Fortunately, all that DLC is included in the Legendary Edition package on PS4.

    This was 2010, and across the board, film, TV and video games were reaching a creative apex. With the massive success of Mass Effect 2, the developers were left with the daunting task of finishing what they had started. Released in 2012, Mass Effect 3 perhaps suffers from being a little unfocused and slightly underwhelming in its final act. I have seen three of the possible endings to the game and I'm afraid none of them quite had the impact I was hoping for. There's still plenty to recommend, though, with dozens of weapons to chose from, lots of varied missions, unexpected shipmates, old friends, and new enemies.

    The most impressive aspect of Mass Effect is how relationships, dialog choices and actions transfer from one game to the other. This is the first time I've been able to play all three games in the correct order, and it's incredible how the effect of choices made in the first and second games ripples through to the final game. It is quite awe inspiring at times.

    I've really enjoyed rediscovering these games and appreciating their greatness. We'll never see the like of them again. There's a passion to them that is highly unlikely to be replicated in the corporate climate that we find ourselves in today. I'm grateful that they have only updated textures and refined a few minor things for modern hardware rather than edit or modify the games in any negative way. Mass Effect Legendary Edition remains a true snapshot of a golden age of game development, a testament to real creativity and raw talent, and that alone is worth the asking price.    … Expand

    To play these games in such a polished state, with 4K HDR, is a privilege. I loved these games back in the day and I never thought I'd be playing them like this. Not much else to say. These games are masterpieces and with the enhancements and visual improvements, they've knocked it out of the park. You can't ask for much more...

Проходил я на ультра настройках графики (60 FPS), на высоких сложностях. Третью часть проходил 3 раза. Один раз как спидраннер, второй и третий полностью на 100%. Потом я второй сыграл, тоже идеальная и первую часть перепрошёл на ультра настройках (60 FPS). Мультиплеер третьего Mass Effect идеален и игроки которые в него досихпор играли даже после выхода Андромеды это подтвердят. Выходит Андромеда - и это ужас. Оптимизация: ужасная. Mass Effect 3 у меня на ультрах (60 FPS) шёл, в Андромеде жестокие фризы. Андромеда - она недостойна чтобы её даже и с торрентов скачивали. И сейчас вышел ремастер всей трилогии в 4К 60Fps. Я заявляю что перепройду всю игру с большим удовольствием. Ну и в мультиплеер пойду.… Expand

Every minor issue pales in contrast to the amazing overall performance. The improved graphics and built-in DLCs of the Legendary Edition are making this Edition even better. It is hard to believe this game trilogy is already a decade old. The 3rd game is the best of them it is like playing a hollywood blockbuster.     Don`t know, playing those games, reading the books, so happy to be taken into this universe....this was the Remaster I was waiting for. I just love to play it. This universe can compete easily with Star Wars and Star Trek, there is so much untold stuff, room for more games even without Shepard.     Three of the greatest games ever made and the greatest video game trilogy out there.
    The first game has seen numerous improvements. Graphically it's been improved quite a bit and the combat is now much smoother. There are a few bugs but nothing game breaking. I will also point out that some of the facial retexture's look a little off but only in rare cases.

    Mass effect legendary edition, is one of the best games I’ve ever played. I haven’t played the originals, but this game made me love everything mass effect. My favorite thing about it Is the amazing story, and characters, they really make this game worth it.

    i'm a newcomer to the series and i must say these games are incredible,the first one is superb a masterpiece and unreal for the time of the ps3,the second one is even better than the first one in almost every way, the third was good but nothing special, i am proud to have discovered this saga.

    I was really looking forward to the re-release of Mass Effect for the new generation of consoles, and I was infinitely excited about the announcement of the Legendary Edition.
    A sudden surprise for me, and for all Russian-speaking fans of the series, was the addition of one of the worst Russian localizations in the history of video games in the CIS. There are no limits to my frustration.    I was really looking forward to the re-release of Mass Effect for the new generation of consoles, and I was infinitely excited about the announcement of the Legendary Edition.
    A sudden surprise for me, and for all Russian-speaking fans of the series, was the addition of one of the worst Russian localizations in the history of video games in the CIS. There are no limits to my frustration. I really hope that Bioware and EA will listen to Russian-speaking fans and improve the situation by leaving only Russian subtitles and English dubbing in the game.
    P.S. I was sure that the Russian dubbing of Mass Effect by Snowball was destroyed long ago, as well as all of its backups, and that it remained only as an artifact on the shelves of fans.

    -English spoken dialogue can now be selected separately from subtitle language

    Now this is my favorite Remaster on the Citadel!

    The remaster i have been waiting years for did not disappoint. Metacritic should do something about the Russian trolls giving this game 1 star over some dubbing that 99% players won't care about..

    Excellent remaster, if you're a fan of the original releases then you will love this entry. ME1 changes are amazing and paired with all the DLC you are getting over 100 hours of content in one package. All in 4k/60FPS if using a next-gen console. Amazing!

The trilogy is not perfect overall, but I believe this was needed to remind gamers just how epic video games can be and how immersive the worlds and storytelling should be.     The greatest video game trilogy in one title. Had to subtract one point for leaving out multiplayer but gave a point back for the sheer volume of great content!

    Maybe skip Mass effect 1 and use the interactive comic.

    I've always been a fan of the Mass Effect Trilogy and when I heard that they were comming out with a remaster I preordered it as soon as possible. The improvements they put into the first game are superb. I have a very hard time putting the game down and go to sleep at times. A definite 10 out of 10.

Everything has improved, ME1 combat feels more adequate... although the maps clearly haven't been designed with the ME2/ME3 style of combat in mind. The UI itself was redesigned as well, but there are significant differences between the 3 games; I honestly expected it to be merged together somehow.8/10. As a player of the original trilogy, I had to give this edition a try. And I loved it. Everything has improved, ME1 combat feels more adequate... although the maps clearly haven't been designed with the ME2/ME3 style of combat in mind. I do understand the difficulties of doing this, considered how the original trilogy itself has improved from one game to the other. All in all, this game is a solid 8. However, I'm giving it top score to counter balance the rusky crybabies that are giving it a 0 because they don't like the voice overs.     Mass Effect: Legendary Edition offers the comprehensive experience that the whole trilogy rightfully deserves. Thanks to this, you can easily forgive it all sorts of small ailments associated with the age of individual parts and you drown dozens of unforgettable hours in the game without blinking an eye. Yes, even after such a long time.

    The Mass Effect Trilogy is incredible. The overarching story and its characters are excellent, and each one was better than the last. I wasn’t sure if these games would hold up in the current environment, but they absolutely do. They’re still worth playing, I recommend them, and to anyone about to jump in — play at a slower pace. Do not rush through. Explore everything they have to offer and relish in their richness.
