    I've been wanting to play this game for a while and overall, this is one of the best games I've played on PS4! The gameplay is one of the best things about the game and the experience I had, it was one of the best! The game is my 2nd favorite of all-time!

    This is better than all Spider-Man movies and animated shows. Very interesting plot, good villains, gameplay is awesome, swinging is **** great!

    Das Spiel ist tatsächlich sehr gelungen, das Gameplay ist sehr gut gelungen, gerade die Kampfeinlagen, die Bosskämpfe sind sehr gut inszeniert und die Story ist tatsächlich extrem gut.
    Für mich gehört das Spiel zu den besten PS4 Exklusiv Spielen und das hat schon eine Aussage, weil die PS4 wirklich extrem viele sehr gute Exklusiv Spiele hatte.
    Abschließend brauche ich eigentlich nur zu    Das Spiel ist tatsächlich sehr gelungen, das Gameplay ist sehr gut gelungen, gerade die Kampfeinlagen, die Bosskämpfe sind sehr gut inszeniert und die Story ist tatsächlich extrem gut.

    Really an excellent game with some flaws here and there. I'm personally not the biggest Spider-Man fan as I get easily annoyed by tropey jokes (which is kinda the modern Marvel way i feel). I grew up with the first Spider-Man trilogy, though, and absolutely loved it. I also enjoyed the Amazing Spider-Man, although I couldn't get warm with the newest iteration. This game however more orReally an excellent game with some flaws here and there. I'm personally not the biggest Spider-Man fan as I get easily annoyed by tropey jokes (which is kinda the modern Marvel way i feel). I grew up with the first Spider-Man trilogy, though, and absolutely loved it. I also enjoyed the Amazing Spider-Man, although I couldn't get warm with the newest iteration. This game however more or less does its own thing. Of course, there are your classic villains, but it takes place a few years after the origin-story, so we have a slightly more experienced vigilante to deal with.

    The Good:

    - Graphics. I wasn't too impressed when I just looked at screenshots or heard people say how detailed the world is. But having played it myself, I wholeheartedly agree. Quite impressive what they've managed to pull off on the PS4 (I played on Pro), especially considering the size of the world.

    - Story. While there are flaws and the dialogue was often rather weak (especially with the villains), the overall story doesn't have to hide from its movie-counterparts. While character intentions where often questionable, if not downright stupid, it wasn't really distracting and there were enough things going on in parallel for me to not get bored.

    - the Swing. The swinging is really that good that it deserves to be praised on its own. You have a short array of options how to traverse through the air and once you've gotten used to it, you'll really feel like Spider-Man. You'll want to stay off the streets for as long as possible anyway, for following reasons.

    The Meh:

    - Combat and Spider-Man on the ground. While the similarities to the Arkham-series are uncanny, the combat felt way more fleshed out imo. While you basically have to follow button-prompts with Batman and chain a few to get certain moves most of the time, Spider-Man seems to have much more control over what tools he's got on hand. The fluidity also doesn't feel as floaty as Batman's and movement seems more natural. There are downsides to it, however. The dodge was VERY inconsistent and button-inputs seemed to get ignored a little too often. Spider-Man is also much too slow when walking and basically took a nap after every dodge, creating rather unfair situations at times. It also doesn't help that he gets stuck in geometry very often, making dodge-attempts completely useless, even if it's just a water-hydrant or a car (he should definitely be able to jump those, no?).

    The Bad:

    - The opening Mission (Tutorial). Probably among the worst I've seen from games like this. The combat system really needs getting used to, so having a mission to train is much needed. The mission itself was not great, however. For someone who just started the game for the first time, the mission-objectives where sometimes not clear at all (those turrets still make me angry) and the boss-fight was too hard at that stage. It starts off the story in a nice way, but I bet many players got turned off immediately when they first tried it. For this reason, I would honestly never recommend the game to anyone who rarely plays video-games or never dove into the genre before (Arkham would be a better fit, probably)

    For me one of the ugliest spider-man games. Being an exclusive I expected a big step forward for stroria and gameplay. The story is full of hasty things and also very obvious, The gameplay takes up both from the batman series and from the old spider-man games (such as the amazing and shattered dimensions) making it a fairly disappointing game. (I'm sorry for my bad english, I'm Italian)

Hopefully sequel features Venom and Carnage. This game is what Witcher 3 tried to be, but failed. Spider-Man has likable main character, because it's Spider-Man obviously, not some boring old man with ugly long white hairAmazing and very fun game in every possible way.     Absolutely amazing Spider-Man game! Easily best Spider-Man game of all time! great graphics, solid list of villains, can't wait for sequel. Some characters i wanna see in next game : Lizard, Venom, Carnage, Goblin (any), Spider Gwen.

    - Мэри Джейн. Это просто жесть. Худшая Эм Джэй за всё время саги. И мисси за неё супертупые. Потому как стелс тут очень слабый и у врагов максимально тоннельное зрение. А местами прям доходит до асбурда - у неё нет мотивации заниматься тем, что она делает - это ещё ладно. Но когда она на каблуках быстро топает по кафелю центрального вокзала мимо врага, а он её не видит - это, конечно, швах.

    - Злодею мистера Ли не хватает проработки и мотивации. Он абсолютно пустой получился.

    - Отвратительный стелс. Когда ты подвешиваешь врага чуть выше уровня головы, а остальные враги этого не видят - это вызывает вопросики. Или когда куча бандитов охраняет заложников, а ты отвлекаешь их звоном часов, и они все из-за этого бросают заложников и уходят, отворачиваясь от всех сразу, создаётся ощущение, что NPC тут сильно умственно-отсталые.

    - Примитивные битвы с боссами, построенные на QTE и уклонениях.

    - Отсутствующие побочки. Точнее они есть, но в стиле - залатать дыру в трубе, поймать голубей, собрать анализы воздуха, уничтожить бандитов и уничтожить бандитов.

    - Наличие вышек.

    К сожалению, на поверку оказался достаточно слабым тайтлом.

    Let’s just say this game feels so good to just swing around in. The vibration as you lock in R2 really makes you feel like you’re actually swinging. I bet on PS5, this is much more the case.

    The story and presentation is wonderful, and the game puts you right in the action from the start. The story takes place 8 years after Spider-Man gains his powers and is already used to fighting criminals. The main story is kind of short, but very well paced with interesting villains and lore. Also, this is one of the only games I’ve played where the side content is actually worth doing. It includes side missions, collectibles, and challenges.

    The gameplay is fluid and the gadgets you can upgrade make it a lot more bearable; even on normal you get your ass kicked if you don’t take use of Perfect Dodge and other mechanics. The action is very reminiscent of the Batman Arkham series with an attack button, dodge, and combo meter. While not entirely innovating, the gameplay is satisfying to master and smooth.

    After Platinuming Marvel’s Spider-Man, I can safely say that this is one of the best PS4 exclusive games and a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to jump into Miles Morales!    … Expand

Controlling Spider-Man on swinging is hard and very challenging especially on the side quests but you'll get use to it if you play and learn more. The soundtracks is very good. It will give you chills listening to it while playing Spider-Man. The world is not that huge and a lot since it's only on New York city but it's fine though, there are a lot of places to go to and explore to. Side quests might not be that a lot and it's very easy to grind but it's fine and it's fun. The graphics on this game is absolutely amazing especially on PS5, PS4 is quite really good too especially on the cutscenes. On the cutscenes, there are some that are not really that detailed because at the end game, where you need to fight Doctor Octavius, you will wear the classic Advanced Spider-Man suit even if you are not wearing the suit. I hope some games will stick to the player's loadout and they will bring it to the cutscenes instead of the cutscenes that are pre-made. Spider-Man is really fun, some are quiet raging, especially controlling Spider-Man on swinging when it comes to the challenges nor side quests but it's fine and it's really challenging, you just need some practice and getting used to it. Playing Spider-Man is very worth it… Expand

    With the release of Insomniac Games fast selling hit Spider-Man making such an impact on the gaming world, and with so many great reviews circling the media, we thought we too would succumb to the flow of the masses and give it a whirl. And I got lucky so I got to do it.

    Don't worry though, this is as spoiler free as I could possibly make it. Following my normal obsessive compulsive    With the release of Insomniac Games fast selling hit Spider-Man making such an impact on the gaming world, and with so many great reviews circling the media, we thought we too would succumb to the flow of the masses and give it a whirl. And I got lucky so I got to do it.

    Don't worry though, this is as spoiler free as I could possibly make it.

    Following my normal obsessive compulsive manner, it just wouldn't have been me not to spend many hours glued to the screen in an attempt to 100% the base game's progress and trophy list (to get the coveted platinum); which was successful I might add, just in case any of you were wondering. These countless hours raised many points about the game that are important to share if you're still on the fence as to whether to buy.

    So, first of all, the general conclusion is simply that it's a ridiculously fun game to play. Even on the more challenging difficulty you can still have a blast, even in among the frustration of getting outmatched by swarms of enemies. From the outset of the game you're in headfirst taking on a multitude of enemies and a boss; because who doesn't love a trial by fire.

    The character customization was a big winner in my book.

    You'd be forgiven for thinking, initially, "what on earth can you customize with our beloved friendly neighbour Spider-Man?". But Insomniac have graced us with a multitude of options from different suits, skills, and gadgets; not unlike the later Assassin's Creed games learning skills and progressively making new gadgets throughout the game.

    With that being said there's also an impressive city to scale and explore, and it's clear to see the time and effort that went into it's creation. Buildings galore to climb, swing from, and stick bad guys to. Even the Avengers tower to check out; but you didn't hear that from me.

    The movement and combat mechanics are also worth a great honorable mention in among the pros, only adding to how enjoyable the play-through was. Although a little tricky at first, the web-swinging and parkour become an integral part of normal play; but also something that will explain one of the cons mid game.

    A non-spoiler con, if it can be considered one, is the top level of the Taskmaster challenges.

    We encounter the mercenary Taskmaster on our travels, as a type of side mission, who sets challenges such as disarming bombs, taking out drones, and fighting enemies. In the bomb challenges you gain points for how quickly you can disarm them. It took little time to learn that, no matter how skilled you are with the movement mechanics of the game, for most players achieving the ultimate tier isn't only difficult, but unnecessarily unattainable. Upon researching the issue I discovered this was something that many people voiced, some of whom were named pro gamers.

    Not going to lie; it made me feel better knowing that it wasn't just me. This only became a serious inconvenience when trophy hunting for all the suits, because if you can't get tokens to unlock the suits it will require an almost entire second play-through of the game to unlock them, saving all the tokens for them alone; the downfall of not having a New Game + mode was prominently highlighted in this instance.

    Another one of the few cons that the collective gaming community cited, that I too discovered early on, was the delay in response time for dodging attacks.

    We all know how important it is to get timing right in a lot of games. Especially when it costs you health. But when you can't make that dodge when you need to, and more so against a boss, things can get a tad tricky.

    All in all though, despite a few minor issues that went on the cons list, if you haven't played this game you're missing out. If you're looking for an attainable 100% completion of a game, or just something fun to play Spider-Man is up high on that list. And I am certainly looking forward to seeing what Insomniac have in store for us with the upcoming DLC.    … Expand

    The game has a great story, good combat and amazing traversal with the web swinging, The biggest problem it has is that the random crimes can become very repetitive. The side quests are something that I feel could be expanded upon, because they could be finished very fast and it doesn't leave a lot when the main story is over. Overall though, it is a very great game.

    This is easily the best Spider-Man's game and clash with Batman Arkham.
    The graphics is very, very well done, the story of the game is good, the gameplay is awesome, and certainly have the best web swing of all spider-man's games.
    But, there's one thing what makes me remove 1 point, Mary Jane's stealth parts during story mode, these parts are boring. But it's still an amazing game, 9/10.

Sound Effects, Voice Acting & Music : 7 Sound effects felt natural and that's the best kind of sound you can immerse into, voice acting was pitch perfect but soundtrack is somewhat forgettable. Gameplay: 7 The combat is fun but    Marvel's Spider-man

    Sound effects felt natural and that's the best kind of sound you can immerse into, voice acting was pitch perfect but soundtrack is somewhat forgettable.

    Gameplay: 7
    The combat is fun but combos felt limited. Traversal did not feel intuitive and I kept landing on places I never meant to.

    Story & Dialogues: 8
    Interesting story with great character development, touching ending and well written dialogues. Doc Oc was very well written for the most part but his turn into the dark side was not properly explored. The writers did a great job introducing Miles Morales, others should take note into how to introduce legacy characters or even POCs into their stories that do not feel forced.

    Performance: 10
    Incredibly stable, no noticeable bugs or glitches.

    Overall: 8.2
    Spider-Man is a must play for superhero and/or open world games.    … Expand

    Overall this is an amazing game. My only gripe is the tedious taskmaster challenges to unlock the suits, sadly not everyone will be good enough to complete the required amount of challenges to get the tokens.

    Лучшая игра про человека-паука. Проходиться на одном дыхании, ни на секунду не было мысли: надо заканчивать уже. это как-то скучно. Эталон игры про супергероя. Из минуса отмечу только боссов, они весьма однообразные.

However, that's more of a preference than a complaint. there are mild things that I just don't like too much about this vs the Spiderman 2 game for Gamecube/PS2. The Web Zip's feel predetermined and not as organic as the old Spiderman 2. But the graphics are definitely an improvement over that game. Overall, the game is good,It feels more like it want's to be a movie than a video game.     The best superhero game I’ve ever played. Story is FANTASTIC, gameplay is just as amazing, everything in this game is seriously on point on a level I don’t see in most games nowadays. Bit of a learning curve in the beginning (at least for me) but it grew on me quick. Can’t wait for what’s next.

    I had a lot of fun with this game. It has very well fleshed out characters and great voice acting. None of the cringeworthy dialogue from the films and the main villain reveal is actually surprising - for reasons different than one would expect!     Fun game, decent story and good voice acting but has terrible side missions. The DLC expansions are not worth the money at all they’re terrible.

    I have played it when it was launched. I completed without taking any time for another game. It's combat mechanics are alike Batman games' but it is smoother than that. It feels more natural. The web swinging is also very good. If you loved the Spiderman games before this, you will like this web swinging more. Graphics are also amazing for a PS4,PS4 Pro generation game.     Great story, interesting characters and a lot of stuff to do. Main missions are a little disappointing and boss battles are forgettable but overall incredible game that I highly recommend.

    Marvel's Spider-Man flawlessly Succeeds in the Spider-Man aspect of the game but the open-world aspect could have used a lot more work. After the main storyline even if you haven't done anything in the city before you immediately feel bored and although the Gameplay is satisfying and great, you're left with nothing special.

    This is the definitive Spider-Man game. The gameplay is top notch, but the care and attention to the story and characters feels like a labor of love. It’s a game made by Spider-Man fans for Spider-Man fans (like me). Kudos to Insomniac for creating one of the most memorable Spider-Man experiences since Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2.

    El mundo abierto de este juego es muy agradable, con unas misiones secundarias que la mayoría son divertidas y otras son muy aburridas, especialmente las misiones contrarreloj son muy aburridas.
    El juego es muy bueno y me atrevería de decir que de los mejores que insomniac games ha creado.

    Sony's Spider-Man is indeed a very good game. The open world aspect feels a bit lackluster but the story and characters are nailed perfectly, the soundtrack is great as well.

    Really awesome game, the controls felt really complex at first but the more I played the better it flowed and once I started getting toward the end of the game it really just felt amazing to control spiderman. Beautiful visuals, really enjoyed the story (despite not being super duper up to date on spiderman lore), and just overall a super solid game.

    Spider-Man and at the same time combine his private life in the picture as Peter Parker. I will not give spoilers to the game so as not to ruin you but let you know that the game with a story is a bit predictable but can be as surprising as the Marvel movies. The gameplay in the game is amazing !!! I to this day (2021) return to it only to stop another crime, fight criminals and just fly in the city. It's a game that really makes you feel like Spider-Man and it's a really big achievement. The characters are wonderfully written and not once or twice will you laugh at the jokes that Spider-Man throws during the game.

    Note, I played the PS5 Remaster. This game looks amazing, feels amazing and an absolute must for any Spiderman fan. The way it brings the lore and ropes it all in an original story, can’t say it enough... An Amazing Game, enjoy!

    A great way to portray Spider-Man into the world of videogames. The story is interesting, the characters are pretty good and the combat is spectacular but I didn't enjoy the forgettable side content and the repetitive boss fights. It's still a very good game though, probably one of the best Spider-Man adaptions to date.

On the third day I was still pulled into the game and waited for Otto Octavius to become evil , but I didn’t play as much. In conclusion I love swinging, fighting, dodging, graphics, cutscenes, characters, Easter eggs and more . I recommend the game.… Expand

    Insomniac has made this game great as Spider-Man. The fun of mobility is so great that it can't be skipped. The story is plain, but the ending is touching. The unfortunate thing is the empty open world.

Хорошие побочки должны или обучать новым механикам, или позволять узнать больше о героях, или расширить вселенную игры или показать новых интересных персонажей или дать хотя бы каких-то сложных боссов. Идеальный пример побочек - God of War. Там во время выполнения доп миссий мы больше узнаем главных персонажей через диалоги, мы познаем разные уголкиПобочные задания - курам на смех! Хорошие побочки должны или обучать новым механикам, или позволять узнать больше о героях, или расширить вселенную игры или показать новых интересных персонажей или дать хотя бы каких-то сложных боссов. Идеальный пример побочек - God of War. Там во время выполнения доп миссий мы больше узнаем главных персонажей через диалоги, мы познаем разные уголки классно проработанного мира, мы узнаем про события которые происходили в этой вселенной, сражаемся с разными интересными врагами (в игру можно играть только ради сражения с Королевой Валькирий). А что в Человека Пауке? Нам надо разблокировать вышки, собирать рюкзаки разбросанные по городу и фотографировать здания. Я понимаю что задумывалось что мы так должны исследовать город. Но беда в том, что ВЕСЬ ГОРОД ОДИНАКОВЫЙ!!! Это один и тот же город!!! В этих локациях нет ничего уникального и красивого. Мне не интересно исследовать этот мир!!!! Что бы вы выбрали: освободить дракона в красивой уникальной локации или бегать по однообразному городу и фотографировать фигурки кошечек ? ни один нормальный человек не выберет второе!!!

    Все так хвалили боевую систему в Человеке Пауке. Да она выглядит весело. Первые минут 30. Тебе в бою не нужно думать ни о чем! Не нужны уникальные тактики для разного типа противников. Просто надо нажимать “квадратик”, “треугольник” и “кружок”. В любой последовательности! Не важно в какой! Вы все равно выиграете. А если вдруг нет - вам не захочется второй раз проходить тот же самый уровень. Потому что там с самого начала придется нажимать поочередно на “квадратик”, “треугольник” и “кружок”. Я развлекал себя как мог. Ловил ракеты паутиной, бросал предметы в противников, использовал все возможные гаджеты. Но спустя 10 использований любой из этих механик они надоедали! Потому что игре все равно как ты будешь играть! В God of War можно было подобрать уникальный набор умений для каждого противника. И подстраивать свой стиль игры под новый билд. И каждый раз игра чувствовалась по-новому. А тут… просто грустно.

    Босс файты в человеке пауке даже нельзя назвать босс файтами. Боссы в crash bandicoot и то более впечатляют. 25 часов игры в ЧП. Финальный босс. Думаю “ну наконец-то будет шанс использовать все навыки, полученные за последнюю неделю игры”. Пфф… Если бы. Все что нужно уметь что бы победить босса - стрелять паутиной (научились этому в первые 5 минут игры) и бросать предметы паутиной (научились примерно тогда же).    … Expand

    Am currently replaying the game again and thought I’d come and leave a review in 2021. The game still holds up amazingly well (pun intended!). The story, graphics, and gameplay are so enjoyable. The combat mechanics are so much fun to control. This is still slightly better than SM:Miles Morales. The 3rd game will be an all out sinister six battle and all for it!

    Spider-man is just gorgeous in most aspects, even though its steep learning curve in terms of combat. However, as soon as you start to learn how things are done in this version of Marvel's Spider-man, you'll keep on coming back for more, since both the story, control and combat are absolutely amazing.

There is one character that I hate with a burning passion. (Which I won'tOne of my favorite games ever. It is gorgeous, the webswinging is amazing. The combat is flashy and so much fun.     I've now gotten platinum on this game twice, and aside from the occasional bug and missions where I had to play as MJ even though I didn't want to, this still remains to be the greatest mainstream comic superhero game I've ever played.

Pese a que la historia es bastante predecible, el doblaje al castellano a veces es regulero y el combate contra los jefes es monótono. el resto luce a la perfección, con esa Nueva York colorida en ocasiones y agrisada en otras y la posibilidad de columpiarte por toda la ciudad, logrando enCopiando a la saga Batman: Arkham, por fin tenemos el juego esperado por los amantes de Spidey. Pese a que la historia es bastante predecible, el doblaje al castellano a veces es regulero y el combate contra los jefes es monótono. el resto luce a la perfección, con esa Nueva York colorida en ocasiones y agrisada en otras y la posibilidad de columpiarte por toda la ciudad, logrando en conjunto que sea muy entretenido completar el juego al 100% buscando todos los coleccionables.

    Excellent web swinging adventure with a compelling story, Repetitive side quests are where it loses its charm, when I review a game I give the whole product the review, not just the main story. Not enough creativity with side quests, chase pigeons, take down this base, repeat, repeat, repeat.

    By far the best Spider-Man game out there, along with Miles Morles, I felt the side missions did get very repetitive by the end. But the combat and web swinging we so much fun I put up with it.

    Weak Plot with boring first half,a little-bit better second half and perfect final.
    The web flying is so cool that can make you FEEL LIKE SPIDER-MAN.
    Combat is perfect,i think theres nothing to explain.
    Ive beat the platinum trophy in this game,and i can say that invastigation NY is very interesting but side quests like Catch a Pigeon is stupid.

    When i first bought this game, i wasn't sure if im gonna like it because this isn't my type of game. But after playing it for a while i got completely caught up in it. It has a great story, balanced combat with a lot of perks, and the graphics on the PS5 is absolutely wonderful. It also has 3 dlc's which are pretty short but also very exciting.     There are myriad good reasons why Marvel's Spider-Man is the best-selling and highest-rated Spider-Man title in years. While it has a few glaring flaws, they pale in comparison to all of the things the team at Insomniac got right. A well-acted, strong story serves as the backbone for an experience that just plain feels right for Spider-Man, and fans and newcomers alike won't be disappointed by this trip to the Spider-verse.

Immensely satisfying movement system, excellent combat, fast pace, superb visuals and wealth of side activities converge to bring a wonderful experienced, diluted only by some minor missteps in the story and a couple of stealth sequences where you control supporting characters instead of Spidey.
