    This is a great game. That's enough to buy this game. Even if you hate spider-man, dont like other super heros, I think you'll like it. It's not just about story, its also about game play which is almost on God of war level (that is a very good complement for any game). But the story is good too. I couldnt find any LGBTQ propaganda in this game, except for a flag in the middle of the map that is big enough (i mean map) but not so interesting to explore and there's nothing to expore. Another argument is no microtransactions. There are lots of costumes of spiderman that are so nice, I think Insomniac, Sony and Marver could easily sell them for 9.99$ as ubisoft does) and people would buy them because they are really cool, but all of them are free and you don't need to play 50 and more hours to buy them by yourself (WITHOUT donating). I wanna say more about the best part of this game - fighting. Even when you kill hundred and more people, its not borring. The game has much playground. You can just beat enemies, you can use web, throw somthing, special costume abilities and really much more that together makes great fights in this game. I got platinum trophy in about 20 hours of slow game play. This is very good game and i recommend it to you. Thank you for attention!… Expand

    You're probably here for the movement: the main draw to a 'Spider-Man' game will always be the ability to swing from rooftop to rooftop, and this really does make the most of that with how drawn out its missions are, how much they make you use it, and how much it overshadows pretty much everything else about the game. It's well and good you can soar through Manhattan seamlessly, but it sucks that the micro movements suffer because of it - at times you'll have issues doing something as simple as jumping up a ledge as Peter Parker is so obsessed with doing flips that he physically cannot stop himself. Other times you'll be busy fighting you're 90th horde of Saber officers, or escaped prisoners and realise that the gameplay is getting stale, but you're only halfway through the story mode. This is not a bad game, but at its best its a Spider-Man open game sim which shows what could be so much more in the future.… Expand

    The best Spider-Man game ever had. I play with PC, and I think sequel games (Spider-Man 2 and Miles-Morales) are should also available in PC.

    Tutto ciò che un fan dell'arrampica muri può desiderare!
    Graficamente stupendo, gameplay divertente e fluido come pochi, capace di tenerti incollato per ore e di farti tornare dopo aver completato il gioco più e più volte anche per il solo piacere di esplorare la città stupendamente ricostruita.
    Davvero pochi difetti, tutti di poco conto.

    Finally, a superhero game.

    Running alongside Batman, Spider-Man has a captivating story, with classic villains and improved visuals.

    The fluidity in the battles, only lose to the uncontrollable gameplay times by climbing walls, chairs involuntarily.

    Even with small bugs and gameplay, for fans of the head of the web, it's a game that should be in your library.

    This Silver Sable character is so bluntly stupid, constantly blaming spiderman for her being totally incompetent and useless, failing every mission she takes with all those super weapons and technologies (looks great though :) )
    And this screwball character, she triggers such an immense feeling of hatred! She makes you want her to die as painful a death as possible. An awful character for the game! Whoever came up with this character should never be allowed to make games again!
    MJ is OK I guess. Nothing special for a character.
    And this Jameson character pouring **** throughout the entire game, You just gate soooo tired of him and without any chance to kick his ass for all the lies and real BS he is constantly blabbing. This is lame. No satisfaction in this also.
    The plot, the story is also quiet lame and simplistic. Nothing to tell about.
    And killing aunt May. Why????? What for! There is no sense in her death whatsoever. It doesn't change Peter in any way as a character.
    Bad game overall. Do not recommend to but. If you get it for free .. well you can kill some time playing it.    … Expand

    I was always prejudiced that a net throwing game would please me. After all, what could it give me? But things didn't happen like that. The unique pleasure of walking between the buildings, a finely crafted scenario, entertaining dialogues... it really exceeded my expectations.

I recommend it either if you like it Spider-Man or not, since it's great as an action game per se.     As a spider-man fan, I was very disappointed. Technical sector certainly of a high level but seeing that insomniac has simply copied many things that ubisoft had done made me shudder. Not to mention the superficial, banal and hasty story. it's the first spider game that disappointed me so much that I didn't want to buy sequels.

    This is a really great game. Fantastic graphics, stunning characters and a really good storiy and a very sad ending. The swinging machaninc is very good and the city looks amazing. All suits are great designed and are uptated very often. Also the DLCs are a nice Edition to the game

    Very well-made game. I loved soaring through NYC freely, which you cannot find in any other game. The city feels very alive. The voice acting is great. The story presentation is perfect. However, side missions are somewhat repetitive and the MJ stealth parts are terrible which disrupts the game's flow.

    I expected to enjoy this game, but it's exceeded my expectations in literally every way. The gameplay feels great, the game looks great, the story is extremely well written, and the characters are very well developed. This might be my favorite version of the Spider-man story.

I have fond memories of the Spider-Man 2 game from the PS2 days and this game took things that made that game good and turned them up to 1000. It's really, really, really great and I can't recommend it enough. The only thing stoppingI love this game so much. Greatest superhero game ever made imo and it never gets old.     Navigating the open world as Spider-Man is really beautiful, the main story is a classic spiderman story. Not as successful as the main story when it comes to side quests, side quests suck. Just because being able to navigate as Spider-Man is enjoyable to save the game 100%. It's definitely a must-play.

    This is a fantastic game with amazing graphics, gameplay and story. Outside of comics, this is easily one of the best Spider-Man experiences. Swinging around the city is very satisfyingly and fun. A must buy for the PS4.

The only thing that annoys me are stealth missions where you have to play as characters like MJ and Miles Morales. Secondly, achieving platinum is very difficult because of the number of crimes you have to complete. 20 different crimes in each district. But I would 100% recommend playing it. The game however never really reached the 10 that i was waiting for. The winging felt great, like i was spiderman, but the combat was passable at best tbh. It was very much like Batman games style of combat and personally wasnt my cup of tea. If you enjoyedwhen i say spider-man was a 7 I don't mean it was necessarily bad. The swinging is the best it's ever been and the story is very solid. I see this as the batman arkham asylum of this soon to be spider man series by insonmiac. Neben Ratchet & Clank sind nun bereits zwei Spider-Man Spiele erschienen und das nächste Marvel Projekt steht mit Wolverine bereits ins Haus. Es ist schon beeindruckend wie schnell und effektiv Insomniac cineastische Action Spiele produzieren kann, die wirklich bis in letzte auf Hochglanz poliert sind. Spider-Man von 2018 machteInsomniac ist derzeit vermutlich Sonys produktivstes Studio. Neben Ratchet & Clank sind nun bereits zwei Spider-Man Spiele erschienen und das nächste Marvel Projekt steht mit Wolverine bereits ins Haus. Es ist schon beeindruckend wie schnell und effektiv Insomniac cineastische Action Spiele produzieren kann, die wirklich bis in letzte auf Hochglanz poliert sind. Spider-Man von 2018 machte da den Anfang. Letztlich macht dieses Spiel wenig neu. Man schwingt sich durch Häuserschluchten und kämpft in einem Arkham Style Flow Kampfsystem, nur eben deutlich schneller und flüssiger. Überhaupt schaut sich Spider-Man hier das beste der Arkham Serie ab und perfektioniert es für die eigene Idee von Spider-Man. Cut-Scenes und Storymomente sind dabei kaum von den Filmvorlagen zu unterscheiden - überhaupt hat man in den Storymissionen das Gefühl einen der besseren Marvel Filme selbst zu spielen. Dass man auch abseits der Mainquests eine Menge Krimskrams und Herausforderungen machen kann garantiert für Langzeitmotivation. Dass hier sogar eher langweilige Sammelaufgaben Spaß machen liegt daran, dass das Schwingen durch die Stadt einfach so unglaublich viel Spaß macht. Allerdings - und das muss man natürlich schon sagen. Am Ende biete Spider-Man beste Disney/Marvel Hochglanz Unterhaltung, aber eben auch nicht mehr. Erzählerisch hat man da schon deeperes gesehen aus dem Hause Sony. Aber Marvel ist auch im Kino nicht gerade für deepen **** bekannt. Mit dem Nachfolger Miles Morales zeigt Insomniac aber schon, dass man auch in einem Disney Setting deutlich mehr erzählen kann, wenn man denn will. Für mich ist Miles Morales daher auch das Spiel, das mir mehr in Erinnerung geblieben ist.… Expand

Of course, developer Insomniac Games have added their own personal touches to the experience in the form of things like an RPG leveling up system, upgradeable Spidey gadgets, special suit powers, and the ability to grapple towards and launch yourself from various points in the environment in what feels like a natural evolution of the movement mechanics found in their decent, but pretty underwhelming Sunset Overdrive. The most significant addition however is the inclusion of meaningful side-content for the first time in the wall-crawler's long career on home consoles.

    As you progress a variety of optional tasks, challenges, and even small storylines will begin popping up across the map at regular intervals. Their quality varies wildly from legitimately entertaining (timed Taskmaster tests) to mundane (pigeon-catching), but I felt compelled to do them all regardless thanks to their relative brevity. This doesn't follow the Ubisoft structure of littering your screen with hundreds of icons to check-off. Rather, each activity type comes in handfuls to add just a few extra hours of playtime instead of keeping you busy for months on end.

    What ultimately most makes this title worth picking up is its original story. Like I said earlier, this isn't some film tie-in, but also isn't set in any previously established continuity either. Insomniac have actually created their own universe complete with unique takes on the brand's history, characters, and lore. It leads to a tale that, while implementing a great deal of novel changes to deep-seated key elements, remains faithful to the true essence of who Spider-Man is with strong, surprisingly emotional writing that sets up so many exciting venues for them to go in the future. It's by far the greatest distinguishing part of the package.

    The overall familiarity keeps this from being something I can truly rave about, yet at the same time stands as the reason I enjoyed it so much. I was transported back to the PS2 era over the course of this superhero adventure. Memories of playing the titles derived from the Raimi works and Ultimate came flooding back, and accompanied by the smoothest gameplay Parker has seen so far outside of the occasional glitches you'll encounter. As a result, I can do nothing than recommend that every web-head fan pick this up, even if only for the nostalgic feeling alone.    … Expand

    The best spider man game ever made. Insomniac Games did a good job. The characters introduced to the game actually look terrible like comic book characters, everything is combined with a fantastic fighting style and quite an interesting version of events that differs from the comic version.

    Such a cool experience! Web-sling like the best in this sweet action adventure super hero game. The story, character development, emotional impact, is all fantastic. (The acting is great here!) There are bits that slow down the pacing (sneaky sneaky level.) But overall, this game is great.

Great game this is the only I have ever 100% completed and that just tells me how great the grind is I love this game and can't wait for Spider-Man 2 the story with Mr. Negative for him to only be a red herring for the real villan Doctor Otto Octavius and there be a realrelationship between him andnd Peter that rivals the one in spider man 2 (2002) the game is absolutely gorgeous and the introduction of miles is flawless in my opinion I love this game and it will take a lot to top it but I have faith is sony and insomniacs teams to make a game just as good if not better in the sequel.… Expand

    As mentioned, the open world is visually very nicely designed. In terms of content, however, it is a disaster. You keep repeating the same repetitive quests. Either you have to stop criminals or you have to help Greenpeace. Yeah, I got the message, everyone can be a hero. But that's no excuse for letting us do such boring and ridiculous quests where we have to vaccinate pigeons and fish or have to clean the nearest chimney.

    The wasted potential makes me a little sad. As a consolation: The standalone add-on Miles Morales was way better.    … Expand

Gráficamente es un juego en el que te dan ganas perderte y balancearte de un lado al otro de la ciudad. La historia del juego no se queda atrás, siendo muy buena y haciendote jugar horas y horas al juego.

    Insomniac clearly poured some love into this game, I never once found myself bored, or too stuck to give it another go. I played the game through pretty quick, but enjoyed every minute of it. Maybe the DualSense could have been utilised a bit better, but the gameplay and visuals are top drawer. The CTNS dlc is also a lot of fun.     What a great game. It is my favourite game in ps 4 and ps 5. The open world lacks variety and can be repetitive, also the story does take some time to get exciting but it is mindless fun to swing around and combat is so satisfying. It makes me feel like the spider man. Looking forward to the second game.

    Of the real cool, I can only mention flying on the web and a good plot. Otherwise, these are borrowings from other games. And there's also good chemistry between the characters and beautiful New York.

    The game is fantastic. The main achievement as for a triple a project is that the combat is very easy. You don't need to play the game every day like god of war where after not playing for 3 days you need to learn play the game again. In spider man I can play once a week and remember all of the combat.

    There are myriad good reasons why Marvel's Spider-Man is the best-selling and highest-rated Spider-Man title in years. While it has a few glaring flaws, they pale in comparison to all of the things the team at Insomniac got right. A well-acted, strong story serves as the backbone for an experience that just plain feels right for Spider-Man, and fans and newcomers alike won't be disappointed by this trip to the Spider-verse.

Immensely satisfying movement system, excellent combat, fast pace, superb visuals and wealth of side activities converge to bring a wonderful experienced, diluted only by some minor missteps in the story and a couple of stealth sequences where you control supporting characters instead of Spidey.
