    This game has an awesome open world, and beautiful combat. (Reverse that, if you will) missions feel fun, and rewarding. And just exploring every inch of new york is interesting and fun. If you have not played this, please do.

    I am an old school Spider-man fan, reading the comics from the 70's, 80's and 90's. It is these comics that my knowledge comes from Spider-man and what I compare to when watching a movie or playing a game. This is why the game got a nine out of ten, rather than a 10/10. The game is good and while I understand the story is most definitely an independent one, there were still aspects that II am an old school Spider-man fan, reading the comics from the 70's, 80's and 90's. It is these comics that my knowledge comes from Spider-man and what I compare to when watching a movie or playing a game. This is why the game got a nine out of ten, rather than a 10/10. The game is good and while I understand the story is most definitely an independent one, there were still aspects that I found did not fit certain characters and then there was too much time on some characters and not enough on others. There were also aspects of the game play that could have been improved upon too, so my complaints of the game are not totally directed out of changes to characters and certain story arcs. That being said, I still enjoyed swinging through New York and collecting things and trying to fight crime in the city!

    The story, Spider-man starts out taking down the Kingpin and this seems to set a whole lot of stuff in motion. A new criminal organization has emerged and its goal seems to be to cause as much damage to New York as possible to make Mayor Norman Osborne look bad. Meanwhile. Spider-man is helping out as a lab tech with his friend and mentor Doctor Otto Octavious. Otto seems to share the hatred that the new enemy targeting New York has and soon the doctor loses his mind and forms a team of villains to try and bring the city and Norman to his knees. Only Spider-man stands in their way along with some help from Mary Jane and Miles Morales!

    During the time I read the comics Dr. Octopus was Spidy's main villain. Venom had his moments, but Dr. Octopus was always there with some nefarious plan. He never knew Pete before the change, and I am not sure why this game and the movie had him and Pete share a mentor relationship. Sam Rami always professed a love for earlier Spider-man comics, but always took strange leaps like organic web shooters and such. He and this game make poor Otto seem sympathetic, but in the comics once he lost his mind, he never had regrets. They would later make Norman emerge again as the Goblin, but to me Doctor Octopus will always be Spider-man's most unique villain. To me, the Green Goblin is just The Joker with powers and a glider. The Sinister Six was also originally Doctor Octopus, Electro, Vulture, Sandman, Mysterio and Kraven the hunter who always gets ignored these days! Here, they have three of the original members, Doc Ock, Vulture and Electro and add the new villain, Mr. Negative and oldies but goodies Rhino and Scorpion. I was very disappointed when I could not fight each of these villains one on one, for some reason they really skimped on Electro, Vulture, Rhino and Scorpion.

    The game play is fun, what one would expect for a Spider-man game made since the game based on the second movie came out. A lot of swinging around New York and stopping crime. You also have side missions, collectibles and tokens to earn! The game keeps you busy that is for! What it needed though were some more villains of the super powered variety. It would have been cool had Shocker been running around the city when the criminals were running rampant and you could fight him occasionally and maybe a few others of the lesser known super villains. At times it can get repetitive fighting dudes in orange jumpsuits! There are also times when you take control of MJ or Miles and you have to get through areas without getting caught and they change up the pace.

    So, the game is good, I loved seeing Doctor Octopus as the main villain in the end, I was so fearful that Mr. Negative would end up being the leader of the Sinister Six. The fighting is fun, the story is rather good, but both aspects have flaws. Any story flaws I found, won't really affect any of the newer generation of comic book readers, I just came from a different time. The game play flaws, well at times you kind of wish there was more to do and those challenge tokens are a bit too scarce and hard to get! Overall, a really fun game and I look forward to playing the Miles Morales Spider-man one day.    … Expand

Hakikaten karakterin mobilitesi konusunda eşi benzeri yok. Oyunun özellikle başında devam etmemi sağlayan şey bahsettiğim o histi.

    Dövüş mekanikleri de benzer şekilde o nostaljik hissi verdi, çocukken olmak istediğimiz Spider Man. Hızlı, çevik, elastik, mermilerin arasından kolayca kaçınabilen bir karakteri yönlendiriyoruz. Öte yandan skill puanlarıyla edindiğimiz yeteneklerin sayısı ve oynanışa etkileri bana biraz yetersiz geldi. Yani OP olduğumuzu, bir süper kahraman olduğumuzu sıradan düşmanlara karşı bile pek hissetmiyorduk. Ya da ben ıvır zıvır etkinlikleri çok yapmadığım ve her kıyafeti almadığım içindir. Yine de akıcı animasyonları sayesinde oldukça eğlendiğimi söylemeliyim. Çevreyle etkileşime girip düşmanlara bir şey fırlatmak ya da üzerlerine bir şey düşürmek keyifliydi.

    Oyunun hikayesine ortasına kadar benimseyemedim. Haritadaki milyon tane etkinlik ve yan görev, ana hikayeye odaklanmama engel oldu. Etkinlikler o kadar dandik ve keyifsiz ki anlatamam. Çanta topla, fotoğraf çek, outpost ele geçir. Kopyala yapıştır işler. Bunda oyunun etkileyici bir hikayesi olmaması ve düşmanların ilgi çekici olmaması da etkiliydi.

    Yan görevler ve etkinlikler çok dandikti. Sırf oyunun süresi uzasın ve oyunculara oyalanacak bir şeyler verelim diye yapıldığı belliydi. İşin kötüsü ana görevler de bir süre bu doğrultuda gitti. Ancak ana görevler bir süre sonra güzelleşti. Özellikle de Otto Octavius işe dahil olduktan sonra. Ancak Otto Octavius'un kötü tarafa geçmesi uzun sürse de geçtikten sonra hepsinin başına geçmesi, onların patronu olması çok çabuk oldu. Bence burası biraz saçmaydı. Birden fazla boss'la aynı anda kapıştığımız kısımlar, zehirlenip halüsinasyon gördüğümüz bölümler iyiydi. Otto Octavius ile son savaşımız çok çok iyiydi. Görsel, sinematik ve duygusal açıdan epey etkileyiciydi.

    Oyunun gizli gitme ya da aksiyona dalma seçeneğini genellikle bize bırakması özgürleştiriciydi. Spider Man buna çok uygun bir karakter. MJ ve Miles ile oynadığımız kısımlar çok gerekli miydi emin değilim. Bana biraz oyunun temposunu bozuyor gibi geldi. Bazıları için farklılık getiriyor olabilir ki bazı kısımları ben de sevdim.

    Oyunun yan görevlerinin ve etkinliklerinin çok baştan savma olması ve karakterin combat çeşitliliğinin bir tık düşük olması bence oyunun en büyük eksileri. Bunlar dışında güzel oyun. Netice de oyunu beğendim, temel mekanikleri çok iyi çalışıyor. Ancak görevlerinin dandikliği nedeniyle başyapıt olma fırsatını kaçırmış gibi geldi. Bir de kıyafetlerin çoğunun görünümü aşırı saçmaydı, hiçbirini almak istemedim.    … Expand

    One of the best games I ever played on PS5.

    The main story is extremely enticing and the gameplay fun and engaging. Even if the combat is nothing new in terms of action video games, it still manages to never get boring. The sound and visuals are top-notch as well in my book. When it comes to side activities, this is probably the only game I ever played, aside from Witcher 3, that I    One of the best games I ever played on PS5.

    When it comes to side activities, this is probably the only game I ever played, aside from Witcher 3, that I wasn't bored with exploring every single marked location and side activity.

    Finally, the DLCs are just more of the same. But if you decide you feel like playing this awesome game again after a few months and don't want to replay the main story, they are perfect.

    Truly one of the greatest super-hero games of all time. The combat follows the Batman Arkham style closely, but in it's own unique manner. Following different branching skill trees that will unlock you new moves and new gadgets to mess around with as the story progresses.     The story is phenomenal, from start to finish its a great time. It works on being the usual, boring Peter Parker to the Amazing Spiderman and it works extremely well interweaving them throughout the game.
    The game has a lot of side quests to do throughout the city, from drug busts to finding secret mob hideouts that keep the city lively and fresh, although after a while you will start to get bored doing the same mission over and over for that precious 100%.    … Expand

Batman was so groundbreaking and original at the time, I felt this game didnt bring anything new to the superhero genre. The sections playing as Mary-Jane were quite tedious, ditto with Miles Morales. Messed with the pacing of the game for sure.     My dream game. I grew up the biggest spiderman fan there was. I played all the games, watched all the movies, read all the comics, and collected as many action figures as I could.     The best super hero game I have played. All the cool skills you get and suits really adds to this game. Gameplay and story are great. If you have the PS5 remastered version that came with the Miles Morales game, you’ll love it even more.

    Historia redonda que te lleva por rumbos inesperados, personajes entrañables, un Peter Parker carismatico.

    The only reason why this game doesn't get a 10 is simply because there is still room for improvement in some areas. The wall crawling mechanic for example is very poor in its current execution. The swing mechanics could also be further improved by reworking the in air dodge so that it doesn't stop your momentum, as well as a deeper trick system and more things to do while attached to a line, such as pulling up for height, collision on the web to cut around corners or wrap arround light signals or poles.

    In the end, I can't wait for Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

    Hace 2 años que compre este juego, recuerdo que me lo termine en una semana, tiene un mundo abierto muy bueno con diversas misiones que puedes hacer en la ciudad además de entretenerte con los coleccionables que están dispersos por el mapa, otro punto bueno es que hay muchos trajes cada uno con su habilidad, el combate es frenético y entretenido. balancearte por la ciudad es increíble, elHace 2 años que compre este juego, recuerdo que me lo termine en una semana, tiene un mundo abierto muy bueno con diversas misiones que puedes hacer en la ciudad además de entretenerte con los coleccionables que están dispersos por el mapa, otro punto bueno es que hay muchos trajes cada uno con su habilidad, el combate es frenético y entretenido. balancearte por la ciudad es increíble, el modo historia es entretenido y el combate final es espectacular.     Mucho mejor que Batman Arkham knight! Sin faltar al respeto a Batman que es una grandísima joya, este me ha parecido mucho mejor en apartado técnico (paso de los años) el sistema de combate mas espectacular, las comparaciones son odiosas pero hay que decirlas. No esperaba mucho cuando lo compre pero ha sido un golpe de impacto grandioso, vaya pedazo de juegazo

There isn't nothing I dislike transverse is fluid, suits are amazing, skill tree is just perfect gadgets suit mods, etc. story is amazing never felt It was empty, side stuff is always worthily to do, crimes which happen in the city might get repetitive quickly but always are fun no matter how many times I have completed them

    One good thing to know about this game is that it's INTENSE. Not only is the combat intense, but the whole experience goes for a 100 miles per hour from start to finish. Your phone keeps ringing and you barely ever feel you have time to go for side missions and pure exploration. I feel that for some people this may be anxiety inducing - it is NOT a relaxing experience whatsoever.

    I'm not a big fan of Spider-Man, but if you are - then this game is a definitive must play, and even if you aren't a big fan of Spider-Man you'll probably enjoy the experience as I did.    … Expand

Lo peor son los objetivos secundarios en las luchas callejeras aleatorias, ya que puede dificultar completarlas al 100% debido a su aleatoriedad.     This game was fantastic. The best part of it is how well they captured being Spider-Man. The open world is filled with activities that enhance the experience instead of spoiling it. Even when it just searching for collectables around the city, they are filled with cool tidbits and references.
    The story was very well done as well and as far as comic book based video games I always think its best to do your own alternate dimension kind of thing. Its gives the developer the freedom to do what they want with the game and create the perfect balance between inspiration and subverting expectations.
    My only real complaint would be that some of the activities are repeated a few too many times in the main story.
    P.S. I can't believe they changed the actor who played peter for this games remaster. I'll live but i loved the original actor scan :(    … Expand

    Person should have as much hands than a spider to handle all these kind of commands. I am against that modern trend that if controller has maybe 15 buttons, there should not be 150 essential moves. Even the simple moves are too difficult to make. Character jumps either 20 centimeters or 10 meters from same button and cannot be controlled. Character just completely jackass around because of that.

    Un gioco davvero bello. Marvel's Spider-Man per PS4 è secondo me uno dei (se non il) primo capolavoro fatto da casa Insonnia Games, dopo un Ratchet & Clank che non mi ha fatto impazzire. La grafica è evidentemente old gen ma comunque avanzata per il 2018. Una trama non banale ed intricata condita con un gameplay tutt'altro che grezzo.

Now with a Ps5 got the Miles Morales ultimate edition with the console, and that game is bundled with a digital free Spider-Man remastered. What  a Masterpiece! Had such a blast playing this game, I'm glad I didn't play the original in 2018,I'm not a Spider-man Fan!     Shortly after leaving the theater from being blown away by No Way Home, I remembered I had this game sitting at home waiting to be played. It quickly moved to the top of my priority list as the itch was there to be Spider-Man.

    This game is fantastic in all aspects with very little flaws. There is a reason it won 2018’s console game of the year and best action/adventure game. The story was great, predictable if you know a bit of the Spider-Man universe, but that never took away the emotion and suspense of it all. The ending was perfect. Build up of characters, impressive. Switching between a couple different main characters gave a nice break and allowed characters to shine.
    Even just the world setting of New York City was beautiful and an enjoyment to web sling from building to building. It says something about a game when they offer you quick travel in the map but you choose to manually sling your way across city blocks instead.

    Combat was the similar system of free flow combat seen in games like the Batman Arkham series and Shadows of Mordor. Using combos to knock out enemies, a counter system to dodge out of the way when your senses tingle, and build up enough focus you can perform a special takedown. Generally after playing so many games with that design I feel afraid I'll get bored of it but Spider-Man adds in a bunch of gadgets and tools to mix in with the fighting. Web bombs, trip mines, spider drones, electric webbing and the list goes on. It also adds a wide variety of enemy types that make you think fast on your feet on how to best deal with them.

    Even having the experience of those free flow combat games, Spider-Man has a degree of difficulty to it. Fail a dodge and you can lose 50% of your health instantly. There was always a sense of danger even when I reached the max level of 50 with maxed stats. Not ashamed to admit I died plenty of times from rocket launchers and big ol’ brutes giving me a haymaker.

    The small negative things I could say, with the variety of controls and things to map out on the controller, it took a minute to remember the layout if not playing consecutively. I typically play only on my days off when not busy so it can go 2-3 days in between plays. When I would load up the game and jump into combat it would take me a minute to remember all the combos or moves. Thankfully there is a built in move list in the pause menu.
    Also parts of the audio were extremely hard to focus on even with subtitles on. Being in the middle of combat and someone calling you about the next story beat, I felt I would miss special details or hardly remember what they said. Granted, maybe that is the feeling they wanted to portray as Peter is always taking a phone call when busy.

    This is a must play as it's one of the best ps4 games. Its full of witt and humour. The pacing of the game is perfect as it's not short but not dragged out. One can easily put hours into this game and it's dlc's. The dlc's aren't as good as the main story but are close to being perfect. If you haven't played this game you are missing out .

    This is just a god-level superhero game. Everything screams Spider-Man right down to the split-second responsiveness of the chain fighting controls. It just demands to be experienced at least once.

    I just truly loved playing this game. Not only is the gameplay fun for the free-roaming of NYC but the fighting is INTENSE and fun. The story is incredible, showing the downfall of Peter and Otto's relationship and the faults to having to be Spider-Man. The ending with Aunt May kills me every single time and this was my second time going through the story of the game.

    It's not a perfect game however. Spider-man had so much open world busy work. The designers took the worst aspects of the Ubisoft open-world design and implemented it fully. A lot of the busy work doesn't even make logical sense - like why would Peter waste time taking pictures of landmarks for? And why are crimes happening every 5 seconds? And why does every Ubisoft tower need hacking to unlock icons on the map? It's completely asinine and once you've done them for even a few minutes, you've seen everything there is to do. This is very outdated open world design and I actually feel like the game being more linear would have made it better seeing as how poorly utilized the open world actually was. Like how is that I can play Skyrim for 150 hours but I get bored of the Spiderman open world after an hour? That's a problem.

    The variety in the open world was also quite lacking. There were skyscrapers, docks and a park. All the police towers looked exactly the same. The rooftops were copy-pasted way too much. There was some cool parking garages and tunnels to explore, but absolutely no reason to actually go down there for longer than a few seconds to get the backpack.

    I also feel like accessibility didn't go far enough. The white spider-sense is very hard to see at times for me - an audio queue or a slow-time option would have made the game more accessible for people with poor vision like myself. The backgrounds are just too realistic and there's too much white light from the HDR for the spider-sense to stand out for me.

    Also, a 60fps option could have been added for PS4 Pro users - there's no reason this game couldn't run at 1080p or something like that to enable better frame rates. Locking the game at 1440p to 4k @ 30fps for every user is a very poor and inflexible decision. Not even the PS5 or Xbox Series X can run many games at native 4k @ 60fps, but a 1080p video card in a PS4 Pro is being forced to pump out 4k visuals? That is crazy. On PC, I play games on my GTX 1080 - a very equivalent card to a PS4 Pro GPU - and I run everything at 1080p or 1440p to attain 60fps or better... so why are Insomniac trying to live beyond their means and push to 4k for? It's incredibly stupid and it just hurts the gamer. That GPU is not designed for 4k gaming. That ability is reserved for the PS5 and Series X, and it still has trouble.

    Spider-man is competent, reasonably polished and engaging enough to play, but it doesn't wow me and the utilization of the open world is very poor. The fact that it's so close to the arkham series would further push me away from giving it a higher score as well - this was done 7 years prior. Hell, Skyrim even had a much better open world and it was done 7 years before this as well. Sorry, it just did not hit that bar for me, not when the bar was raised so high for open-world games by 2018. Ultimately, I think there's a lot to improve here and I hope the next release handles the open-world much better.    … Expand

    A very beautiful combat system, even if the secondary tasks are very monotonous, I think that this game is ideal for this, because moving around the map and fighting here is just great. The main tasks for the most part have colorful scenes, but everything is spoiled by the game for other characters. I went to platinum and did not regret it.

I never has the issue that one person is complaining about, the framerate drop after using a web. Nothing about this game felt sluggish at all. The other complaint about playing as MJ for a whole 15 minutes must have never read a Spiderman comic in their life. The story was almost always involving MJ in some way. As for the quips, another person who's never read a Spiderman comic and just goes by what the Fox and MCU movies did. If you know what to expect from a Spiderman that's true to the comics then you're in for a treat, if you're expecting Toby McGuire or MCU Spiderman then you won't be as happy… Expand

    Took me a while to get used to the combat - I highly recommend to resist any urge to turn down the difficulty and instead remember to utilize the myriad of gadgets provided (unfortunately, I went through most of the game without them).

    There are myriad good reasons why Marvel's Spider-Man is the best-selling and highest-rated Spider-Man title in years. While it has a few glaring flaws, they pale in comparison to all of the things the team at Insomniac got right. A well-acted, strong story serves as the backbone for an experience that just plain feels right for Spider-Man, and fans and newcomers alike won't be disappointed by this trip to the Spider-verse.

    This game does for Spider-Man what the Arkham series did for Batman. Immensely satisfying movement system, excellent combat, fast pace, superb visuals and wealth of side activities converge to bring a wonderful experienced, diluted only by some minor missteps in the story and a couple of stealth sequences where you control supporting characters instead of Spidey.
