Love that because it gives us the option to not buy if we dont want to and still have all the post launch DLC to look forward to. wait that's it? seriously? ok the point of a great game is an awe inspiring experience by yourself. it's sw:bf2 all over again. i guarantee more people would play the mp feature if the single player campaign was something great. i don't even wanna try now that i beat the short campaign.

The game is really good honestly the graphics are great looking and the gameplay feels very good. The story is well written allthough a little classic.Music suits the game good but not smthing great , now for the combat it is very dynamic making you feel it especialy if u play with a controller (Vibration its awsome) every hero is unique with its own characteristics and feels special with hes own way.The Gear is good u feels the difference in power and u can upgrade it and it has a lot of abillities on it

The game's uninspired and boringly repetitive combat system combined with a pointless loot system, manage to make even a cast as diverse as the Avengers feel samey. Unfortunately the story isn't much better. The developer's focus has clearly been less on making an interesting game and a lot more on creating a ridiculously greedy monetization system and a tasteless advertising platform.

This game never should've been released on 8 gen. 720p and 20fps is a **** joke, ridiculous. Not worth any money. If you really need to try it play it through ps now, but don't pay for ps now just for avengers, not worth it as well.

It’s pretty sad when smaller name indie games are better than the craptacular turds the big names have been putting out. One of my biggest gripes with super hero games...what is the fascination with developers always designing these games where the characters start out either without their powers or underpowered?! If it’s an origins game, that would be different. But this story takes place where their powers should be intact right from the start. They’re the Avengers for Christ sake! Meaning they’re already established!

Aside from that, I am in total agreement with the bad reviews so I won’t rehash what’s already been pointed out. Only reason I tried this out was it was a free gift from one of the game’s sponsors.

I really like this game, the story is good. The gameplay addicting. The characters fun. I don't know why people are angry over optional micro transactions that you don't need to get and they also need money for the free story and characters they will add. There are some glitches but none game breaking. The only thing i understand people being angry about is spiderman because that is ****

Not much to complain about here. The game looks about as great as it can in 2020.
Narrative: 5/10 There are some great moments with some of the other Avengers and their respective story lines, but the main story is mostly a snoozefest and doesn't really draw the player in, save for a few moments here and there. But Ms Marvel's narrative is clear it stays focused enough

There are some great moments with some of the other Avengers and their respective story lines, but the main story is mostly a snoozefest and doesn't really draw the player in, save for a few moments here and there. But Ms Marvel's narrative is clear it stays focused enough to earn a 5/10.

    Protagonist: 5/10
Ms Marvel just does not cut it. She's full of the cheesiest quips that add absolutely nothing to the experience and she has the most boring super powers where you're literally just spamming the same button over and over to attack. Out of all the characters, she was by far the least fun to play as.

    Characters/Interactions: 6/10
Aside from Ms Marvel (and maybe Hulk too), the rest of the Avengers were actually a blast to play as, Iron Man being my definite favorite. Flying around using Tony's blasters and lasers was the most fun I had playing this game. Black Widow was awesome too with her dual-pistols and impressive melee combat. Cap's shield was pretty fun to throw around for a bit. Thor was not bad, but no different than playing as Kratos in GoW. Almost every attack was the same, the only difference being that Thor can fly. And playing as Hulk was basically just jumping in and spamming the attack button over and over. zzzzzzzzzz

    Villain: 3/10
    BORRRRING

    Editing/Cutscenes: 8/10
There are actually some pretty cool action sequences throughout this game. The ones that stand out are the Golden Gate scene at the beginning and some of the final battles towards the end of the game.

    Gameplay: 5/10
Like I said above, playing as Iron Man was a lot of fun. The rest of the game? Ehhhhhhh not so much. The gameplay just mostly felt like a watered-down version of Marvel's Spider-Man. Where Spider-Man excelled in its gameplay (which was excellent all around), Avengers really fails. The combat feels clunky, the finishers are unimpressive, and it just doesn't flow as smoothly as you'd like it to. And don't even get me started on the looting. It might be the most pointless looting system I've seen in years.

Just make it an Iron Man game and lets call it good. ;)

-The game should be called Kamal Khan, since she is the only thing the game focuses on and NOT the Avengers.
-The game play feels clunky and button-mashy' from the start all the way to the finish and never has that fluid, smooth, organic feel to it.
-Instead of using movie rights or anything Marvel has ties to they used different actors and faces to mash-up the best similarity they could come up with for the characters and it didn't work well. Like, at all.
-The story all the way through the game including the side quests feels like a rollercoaster that eventually falls flat.
-The visuals can be great at times but dont really hold the game up with its lackluster elements.
-The music flows really well however, the soundtrack I found very fitting.
-The additional content felt forced filled with ads and not very exciting to work towards.
-The combat system felt highly flawed, enemies felt overpowered at times and the heroes felt quite literally the opposite.
-The gear not changing appearances was also highly frustrating.
-The fact alone I had to force myself through the 12+ hours of this game was agonizing,

    Huge thumbs down.

Main story is enjoyable but very short. Well, that’s the best I can say about this game. It’s very buggy, runs poorly, has a generic grind for non-unique gear, and is very repetitive. It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
