    Ok so sure this game isn’t the greatest rpg but it’s definitely the best marvel game out there besides Spider-Man. I thought it was going to be extremely difficult to bring so many characters into one game and be able to specialize in each of them but I think they did a great first attempt . The campaign is really cool I just wish it was much longer. My personal idea would be to keep this game updated for a few years to come where they let you purchase future dlc updates Of all the avengers characters , each with their own unique story fully fleshed out . I’d pay for that. The micro transactions have no affect on the game but I must say that all cosmetics are ridiculously priced . There’s no way I’d pay that for a skin . If they reduced the price by at least 70% for cosmetics then I would consider it . Overall it was much better than I though it would be . It honestly feels amazing to be an avenger and I was seriously impressed with black widow. Did not expect to enjoy playing with her character would be so satisfying!I would give it about 7 out of 10 but because of all the negative pointless review I had to give it a 10 . I think if they proceed down this path and truly expand the universe in a meaningful way this game could definitely become a masterpiece. Hopefully when they make a 2nd one the perfect dream will come true .… Expand

    This game has some of the most joyously fun gameplay I've experienced in a while. Each character is so enjoyable to play as, and the high quality variety of each character's gameplay is just pure awesome. Every character feels unique and powerful. The graphics are stunning.     I'm having alot of fun with the campaign much more epic than I expected and the graphics are very detailed. I can feel there is alot to do and the grind leaves alot to be explored in terms of unlocking skills, gear and factions lvling. This game is for the Marvel and comic fans as there so much fan service to the campaign especially the intro level of the game with Kamala. I experienced aI'm having alot of fun with the campaign much more epic than I expected and the graphics are very detailed.     Ms. Marvel is one of the best things about this amazing game. I find it interesting that some think she is a new character when she's not. Great game-play and a excellent plot. At least as good as Spiderman. Keep em' coming of this quality Marvel!

It was well worth the wait. Some people may not like the GaaS mechanic but this game was never promoted as a single player campaign type game and shouidn't be shoved to the side because it's not!

    Our whole family loves this game. The reviews scared me away but our youngest really wanted it so we took a chance. Glad we did. Looking forward to more from this but this is a really fun game.

    Campaign is a high point. Additional missions are repetitive and there are bugs a plenty. Technically what has been delivered is quite impressive. It could have been a lot worse yet people love negativity these days. DLC characters, more story, gameplay improvements and bug fixes to come so plenty to look forward to. 10/10 is just to off-set the drivel.

    So far the only true complaints I’ve seen are a mix between hating the fact that Ms Marvel is the center point of the story, but after like 4 missions you’re free to do what yo want. Get over yourself the game is built fantastically! Each character has their own unique skill set.

    The game is great if you like to play multiplayer experiences, plus it has some cool hero mechanics put in place, don't mind the crybabies around the platform review bombing this game.

    This is a must-buy for anyone who likes marvel. It has its technical problems like frame rate dips when the action gets intense but the overall story, combat, and comic book content make it a classic game that would be a worthy addition to any superhero fan's collection.

    Incredible♥️. Better than Marvel's Spiderman 2018. On PS4 Pro there is even a performance mode that, when motion blur is deactivated, runs much smoother than those 30fps. Well done Square Enix!

    Like most games that involve trolls from the outside that do not even own the game for some reason they will review bomb it. Having played most of the campaign I can see without a doubt that this and Insominiacs Spiderman are hands down the best Marvel games ever made.

    Best 2020 game for me out there! Amazing! Entertaining and very capturing gameplay, with many ways to kill an enemy, dozens of special moves and very complex combat system, great graphics and interesting storyline!

    I love this game. The story is great and the fighting rewarding, great skill trees and the online mode is like Destiny on steroids. I hope they fix some of the bugs (why wouldn't they) and keep the online part with fresh content as promised! Very happy with this game!

    Definitely not a 5/10 which is what the game is sitting on as I write this. The game has a fantastic story campaign, the combat is satisfying and hell, monetization isn't even that bad; you guys are just bandwagoning

    If your looking for a fun game this is a great purchase. Yes there is a couple of bugs hear and there but will ironed out over time. nothing major in my play through. You can play as any avenger level them up and yes there is a diffrence in your power when you level up. There are microtransactions but you can unlock it all through the challange card abyway.     played the crap out of the beta and enjoyed it a lot. and from what ive seen from the full game, the story and dialouge looks incredible and the gameplay looks even more polished and fun than the beta i am really exited to see where this game goes!

    An amazing campaign with an amazing fan service!❤️❤️ Loved the campaign story. Have not played the multiplayer yet. Hopefully they will keep on adding new heroes and content in the future

    Crystal dynamics did good work here. The story is good, the characters loveable , the combat deep if you truly want it to be , the action is a fun time , the voice acting is top notch , and everything else " multiplayer " is a extra bonus . Not to mention their monatisation model is actually pleasently fair " everything is gribdable " .

The reason why games are still $60 is because of all the DLC and microtransactions the developers need to sell. Anyways... back to the game. The game has a very good, short and sweet story. On par with some of the stuff you get in the MCU. The reason it is short is because it is acting as a prologue for the rest of the game, which is multiplayer (can be played solo but isn’t recommended). Multiplayers consist of around 70-80 missions that are all very similar but remain fresh due to the changing enemy variety, mission modifiers and of course whatever character you’re playing as (which feels very different as you actually get better at the game). The skill level of this game is simply put, easy to learn, hard to master. I found myself getting destroyed by enemies early on as Captain America, which then turned into competence, which then turned into mastery. I saw that I was plowing through enemies at the hardest difficulty (which is recommended for the whole experience). Gear level is a worthy addition to a super hero game. Disappointingly the gear does not change anything cosmetically and is hardly noticeable early on in the game. But as you play more, you will find that gear has some really fun game changing features. Artifacts for example even have added in ultimates that are different depending on the item. In all honesty I would give this game a 9/10 but am giving it a 10 as an attempt to counteract the terrible review bombings this game has suffered. For what the devs want this game to be they did an absolutely solid job. I’ve seen far too many reviews where people give this game a 0 because it’s not the game they want, which is outrageous and unfair. This is everything the developers promised, and for that, u applaud the game.… Expand

The gameplay for each character is perfect and make you want to try them all and have different built for various play session. Thanks Crystal dynamics and Square. Can't wait for the upcoming heroes and missons added post launch for free I must add. As a huge fan of this medium, IBeen having fun for the past couple of days on Marvel Avengers either solo or playing in Co-op with my wife.     Great story mode, well written and full of heart. Great actings and beautiful soundtrack.

    Also, co-op missions are entartaining and well constructed.

    The Tlou part II era overshadowed the vision and insight of what is a good video game. Congratulations Square enix, which showed what a game made with love is, and not just a game to profit and win over fanatical fanboys.

    Just wow. You can tell this was made by marvel fans. The graphics are unreal and the story is incredible. Gameplay is perfect for each character. Overall one of the best games I have ever played. Can’t wait for what’s to come

    Im 15 hours in loving everything about this game truly a top tier superhero game. Some of the best gameplay I've seen in a game. Story is fantastic just overall a very fun game especially for any Marvel fan. Don't let the hate ruin this game for you its a blast

    Amazing game. Story was great. would recommend picking it up! Few bugs and glitches which will most likely get fixed in the next patch.

    Hab genau das bekommen was ich erwartet hab. Mir machts spass. Hab auch noch nicht viele Bugs gehabt, nix was nicht mit nem Patch zu retten wäre.
    Nachtrag: Nach dem Patch keine Abstürze mehr, ladezeiten sind kürzer und einiges was mich gestört hatte wurde wie erwartet behoben.     All user complaint for the repetition. That's the point. It is not a game for kids. You must have the nerve to play until you get the exotics you need to fix an OP build. Loot just loot. Having 1 -2 exotics mean NOTHING. Loooooooooot!!!!!

    The game excels in what was proposed initially to be, a great brawler hero game, and it really is, the heroes are very good to play, they have unique gameplays. The History so far is also great, with great twists, and the modes are a blast.

    Im having so much fun with this game, and I really Recommend it.

    One of the best hero game I've ever played. The level of easter eggs we can find, the attention they put into details, and the amount of skills and history to come, just make me happy about buying this game. It was totally worth it!!!

    It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

    This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

    There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
