    Nothing changed from last year. The gameplay on defense is a bit improved, otherwise it's a roster, coach and schedule update. Not worth it

    I wish I could say that I'm surprised, but I'm not. Utterly awful. I wish EA would just have some integrity and give up their exclusive license for simulation football since they seem disinterested in actually making simulation football. Go make NFL Street with loot boxes or whatever it is you're trying to do and release REAL football fans from this torture.     Broken game, same problems year in and year out yet ea never listens to anyone, they say they will change things, yet they never do all they care about is micro transactions and how many kids they can get to steal there moms credit card in order to buy packs, last time I considered this a decent game was madden 15.     Madden 21 is the worst performing game to date. This game is just a cash grab from EA since the last 5 years. The same game different year. No new inovation and the bugs are worse than i ever saw before. Once again well done EA for trying to suck every penny you can out of your player base for little to no effort.

    Extremely disappointing release. The only reason this gets a 1 because of the new game mode “The Yard”. Everything is literally a carbon copy of Madden 20. What a waste of $60, I want a refund.

    THE GAME HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED SINCE MADDEN 13. A disgrace to the sports gaming world. It is just a lack of all-around effort with no additions to the franchise, a ton of glitches, asset errors, spelling errors, and not even getting the right super bowl year. It's like they were dared to make the whole thing in 10 days. Just hot garbage. Save your money.

    I’ll sum it up like this: This game is a buggy disaster. They changed nothing. The only thing they added was the yard mode, which is not worth the price tag of the game. Franchise, face of the franchise and everything else is the damn same. And keep in mind, while all this is happening, EA makes billions of dollars of of the ultimate team. This is why we get the same damn game every year.

    I have purchased every madden since 2003. This game is a disaster features wise. MUT is a boring challenge game. Franchise never improves and has regressed and is a joke. The Yard is not innovative to me it is just to try and compete with 2K. I can't handle being sucked into animation anymore, the game is not fluid. I give it a 1 only because COD did give a slight bump to the on fieldI have purchased every madden since 2003. This game is a disaster features wise. MUT is a boring challenge game. All they’re interested in is promoting online game through Ulitmate teams and Micro-transactions. All they’re interested in is exploiting people’s gaming addiction to make money. It’s been the same **** presentation for years and doesn’t feel like you’re actually in the super bowl. I really struggled to understand how they can’t make something as simple as that slightly better each year and that goes to show that they clearly focus on conning people with online micro-transactions.… Expand

    This game is horrible. Do not buy. When 2K can make simulation football games, maybe then, EA will care enough to put out a halfway decent game. Madden 21 is a copy and paste of Madden 20. They couldn’t even provide us with updated loading screens, which may sound silly, but at least type something new about a superstar please. I spent 100 dollars on this game. Knowing what I know now, IThis game is horrible. Do not buy. When 2K can make simulation football games, maybe then, EA will care enough to put out a halfway decent game. Unfortunately the NFL Supports EA 100% and continues to give EA exclusive rights to making a simulation football NFL games. ESPN NFL 2K5 will forever be the greatest Football game ever made because it’s the football game that completely focused on delivering great and fun gameplay. Also, they delivered a new take on a football game with many entertaining features. If you would take ESPN NFL 2k5 and today’s madden side by side gameplay, you would undeniably think that ESPN 2k5 was made today and MADDEN 21 was made in 2004. Please don’t buy Madden 21! Let’s show EA that we will not give them a dime until they give us a Madden with Madden 2005 like Franchise features and a game worth paying for!… Expand

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
