    This is by far the worst sports video game of all time. It is the most unrealistic game I have ever seen. They should be ashamed for releasing such a poor product. Terrible

    I’m not gonna give you the spill of being a Madden player forever but I will say that this game is not worth the price. Maybe $40. Copy and paste as usual. The Yard is alright.

    This game is AWFUL. Can’t even make sure that they’re spelling teams and players correctly. SAME EXACT GAME as the past 5 years. EA is so disappointing... please EA.. just give the rights over to 2K..

    I took a dump in my toilet, stood up, turned around to look at it, then looked at a pic of Madden 21 and put them side by side and I couldn’t tell the difference. EA.... your game is garbage.

At least make the players speak up and interact. The other obvious update is the roster. This billion dollar corporation has to learn ! We are not stupid which is why i took my game back to game stop and will be waiting for that cod cold war! Now they always make improvements for their loyal fans and buyer's.… Expand

    Endless glitches/bugs, stagnate, animation-driven gameplay, ignored franchise mode and overall lack of attention to detail. An unbelievable fall from grace.

    I have spent well over a 1000 hours on this game over the past ten years and at this point I'm beyond fed up. Its incredible to see a franchise absolutely run straight into the ground, but over this console generation we haven't seen ANY improvements to long standing issues.     Graphics hasn't gotten better since 17 and all the bugs that were "fix" last year are present again this year at this point going into the next gen this is just sad how they treat their player base

    I don't know how a game can be made worse over 3 years but EA has managed to perfect their "art" of destroying innovative Titles.

    Inexcusable. I purchased Madden 12 through 19 consistently but my patience is gone. Most years, the game was nothing more than a roster update with a few improvements and changes. This year, following in the footsteps of its previous installments, the game has gotten WORSE. Zero updates to franchise mode. Community requests go ignored again. Gameplay remains flawed.     Worst game I have ever played. Stick to an older generation game on the PS2. Madden 04 and 05 would be my choice.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Honestly I've only played this game for about 1 hour and I already want to frisbee this disc into the Pacific Ocean. That would be more entertaining anyways. The bugs require a damn exterminator at this point, the O-lineman block each other more often than they block an opposing defender. Animations are somehow even more rampant than they were last year. There is no point in getting the game if you're not a fan of Ultimate Team. FOTF is The Room levels of horrible writing, Yard is just a flimsy attempt of "competing" with 2K and The Show. Franchise, the mode that should be the bread and butter of a supposed NFL Simulation game, is the exact copy and paste same as the last couple of years. It's even worse because draft prospects are so much less likely to have a hidden development trait, which was the sole purpose of me playing the game last year. Announcers are still recycled and boring as all hell, kickers are nerfed, they can't get player names, ages, or contract lengths right. I heard an announcer say that I was about to head into super bowl 23. The NFL Regular season can't come sooner, because this game has me Jonesing for some actual, real life football.… Expand

    This game is atrocious. Same game as Madden 20, which was a bad game. Franchise mode has been the same for years. All they added was pass rush moves and the yard. This game should be a 6 max. I’m giving it a 0 because EA has ran out of excuses in my eyes. Do not buy!!!!

    Same garbage game with garbage animations year after year. I told myself I wouldn’t buy it this year but it being the only football simulation game I caved. Worst 60 dollars I’ve ever spent.. well besides on Madden 20, 19, 18 etc. last year I purchase this garbage game for sure though.

    Modo Franchise é o mesmo, Modo Carreira com uma históriazinha legal. A gameplay melhorou. Há vários glitchs, quase sempre há erro na tela de salvamento automático, ou quando acaba uma partida, cansei de perder semanas de jogos por causa dessas merdas, tendo que forçar vitórias, mudando toda liga. Não vale nem a pau R$300, jogue qual você tem com os elencos atuais, vai ser a mesma merda, eModo Franchise é o mesmo, Modo Carreira com uma históriazinha legal. A gameplay melhorou. Há vários glitchs, quase sempre há erro na tela de salvamento automático, ou quando acaba uma partida, cansei de perder semanas de jogos por causa dessas merdas, tendo que forçar vitórias, mudando toda liga.     I just registered to warn everybody that wanted to buy this pos. EA hasn‘t released a good madden since 2006 but this one is their worst ever.

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
