    Getting your 60 bucks changed into coins at the bank then counting it all out for every purchase you make for the next few days at the register while people get angry at you for holding the line would be a much more desirable experience than this game.

    TL;DR: you are better off buying an actual football and calling up some friends.

The gameplay is buggy, franchise mode was untouched, and they are charging $20 dollars for a set of clothes in The Yard mode after charging $60 for the game. This is highway robbery and absolutely sickening.     Two may be better than one, but anything is better than this game. Less mechanics than before, same cut scenes as as the last five, and as many glitches as fallout 76. This game isn`t a good football game in the slightest.

    Can we have NFL 2k back?! The developer says "2 out of 5 stars is good enough and better than 1." You have to be kidding me... This is why I no longer "Invest" in sports games. Competition is needed in order to prevent laziness. Bring 2K back!... Bring 2K back!

    This game sucks. They've copy and pasted the same game for years and at this point there's just no point in buying it. If you have madden 17, you have madden 21 without updated rosters. The game is $60, and it's not worth $10. Don't buy it or u stupid

    Madden 21. It's just Madden 20. For the past five years or so Madden has been forcing this **** down our throats. No matter how bad Ultimate Team is, it's the same game. I honestly feel sorry for whoever actually enjoys it because they are brain dead and pathetic zombies to EA Sports.

    They have just changed a few tiny details from the last 4 maddens, added more and more micro transactions and haven't improved the game or franchise mode one bit. It is just rinse and repeat for this game. Won't be buying the next version.

    Same game. Same problems. Nothing new. Microtransaction hell. EA has put a gun to the head of the Madden franchise and executed this series. Sad. This series used to be a lot of fun and had fond memories playing it for hours with my brother and Dad as a kid.

    Instead, the entire NFL simulation football experience has to be consistently downgraded to a side feature for yearly releases of EA's NFL branded pachinko machine micro-transaction marketplace. This is a weak arcade game at best.

    Yard and UT should be free-to-play releases. I didn't pay £60 to access the goddamn EA store...
    Think I'm being too harsh? Well on day one, do you want to buy a pair of blue shorts with a gold lightening strike down them and what looks like a golden pee stain down one leg? Great - that'll be £120 worth of EA points please... seriously...

    Hot garbage.

    No updates to franchise mode unless you like a new color scheme. NCAA 14 has a deeper game on PS3. The gameplay is improved from Madden 19 and slightly updated from 20. Other than that it’s embarrassing how little effort is put into the “simulation” aspect of this football game. Where they put the effort in is face of the franchise and in about an hour i was over it.

The physics are horrible, and unrealistic. Lots of missing features. It's a shame football fans have no other choice.     Madden however, it's a micro trans engine. It feels like a mobile game. Graphically it's bad for a 2020 title. Models look nothing like the players. Coach Rhule from Carolina looks like a demon wearing a skin suit. It's horrible. Controls are bad. Snap into a quick pass, my reciever catches it and gets stuck in the turf... okay. Snap, running play, CMC teleports through both lines and gets a free TD. Try playing Ultimate mode, and unless you want to drop a ton of money into fake card packs with bad drops, forget being competitive. It's pay to win. Numerous instances of Madden 2020 logos and animation issues. It's just inexcusable, lazy. The character customization is just bad. All face models look like broken noses, have the developers ever seen a human? Mass Effect 1 on Xbox decade and change ago was better than this. Godfather on PC 20 years ago was better than this.

    MLB The Show has yearly updates, huge chunks of the game change year to year. Madden just sticks the new year stick on everything. I'm glad I checked in after 10 years, I won't be checking back in for 10 more.    … Expand

I am a football player and a loyal gamer and have been a madden player since the age of 6 (1994) this is by far the most insulting version of the game yet. The franchise lacks detail and options to say the least. The gameplay is ugly, the physics are way off. I feel drunk playing this game. The animations are sloppy and the Ai has somehow gotten worse.     The most unplayable madden I’ve ever experienced and I’ve played every single one since ‘06. They continue to ignore what the fans want and have become the most money hungry branch of EA. You can’t have all these micro transactions AND a broken game. I usually keep madden on my system until the new one comes out, 21 was deleted 6 days after I installed. Trash as ****

    This is a game made for shareholders of EA, not for players. Don’t reward this bad behavior by purchasing this blatantly phoned in copy and paste job.

Long story To start it all off Madden 10 was peek Madden there was a full fleshed out franchise mode which contained training camp, rookie camp, contract holdouts playoff seeding unique player entrances and win/touchdown celebrations, and way more unique stuff, then about Madden 11 they took it all out randomly noLook short story short this game is bad and hasn't changed in 10 years.     Game shows horrible digression. I've been playing for a decade and the game isn't even as good as it was before. The game has many glitches and bugs. Not to mention the game play is horrendous from a football stand point blockers, tacklers, coverage guys and any place you can think of the A.I does not work. Movement doesn't reflect athletes fluid movements. Players never get to the rightGame shows horrible digression. I've been playing for a decade and the game isn't even as good as it was before.     The character models looks janky. Devs literally copied and paste the game from 20 and changed the roster. Worst game of the century from the worst game publisher

    Been the same game for years. Broken AI. Players not doing what they’re supposed to be doing on certain play calls. Players going rogue and changing plays. Clear penalties not called in the passing game. This is a simulation and animation driven game that relinquishes user control to programmed animations. Do not buy this game.

    Practically the same game as last year which was also quite poor for the price, except more glitches and bugs than ever before. EA sports should feel a great deal of shame for this product. Horrible money grab of a franchise and has lost my money for the future.

    Literally play any other Madden before....I want to say....2012....before the advent of microtransactions. Play 02 to like 12 and you’ll see an amalgamation of content and features that EA so disgracefully replaced with booty ass features and an entire gambling mechanic. $60 roster update only begins to describe this game....there’s so much more wrong

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
