Un gameplay accessible mais profond qui évolue tout au long du développement des capacités du véhicule et du personnage.     I just purchased Mad Max new for $20 after selling Red Dead Redemption 2 used for $20. I enjoyed the graphical and narrative depth of RDR2, the ridiculous level of detail is insane, but I just couldn't commit the massive amounts of time required to complete the often times, very mundane objectives and gameplay. I liked it, I liked it a lot actually, but I wasn't having fun playing it. RDR2I just purchased Mad Max new for $20 after selling Red Dead Redemption 2 used for $20. RDR2 felt tedious more than it felt fun, and this was always one of my grievances with the otherwise brilliant Death Stranding. Mad Max was a game I wanted since it came out 8 years ago. That may seem like a long time ago but consider Grand Theft Auto V and Skyrim are nearly 13 years old. So I came across a rare instance of Mad Max brand new and finally decided to purchase it.     The only reason I don't give it a higher rating is because there are some weird and unnecessary camera movements that tear us apart. I don't know anyone who has played this game and not nearly puked. The biggest difficulty in the game is not running to the bathroom in the middle of the match.     Fun game with enjoyable combat, graphics, and overall gameplay. Get's a bit repetitive and there is not enough of a story to keep me really hooked (just like the movies). I really enjoy playing for about an hour at a time here and there and I do recommend the game, especially for those who like open-world collect-athons.

    you do anything else than collect scrap in this game? I got to the game hoping for action with clear goals just what mad max is all about, but after 3 hours into the game i was still just collecting scrap for chum to upgrade my car. Where is the fun?

    Car combat and the car it self just gives you that power fantasy in this open world apocalypse. Unfortunately the story it’s self had a 3 dollar budget and that is all the developers and publishers fault . The busy work is fun . Great environmental story telling . But it holds your hand way more then most true gamers want . The game is dirt cheap now and with all the crap coming out this game shines like head lights in the vast desert. Do your self a favor and give this game a try . Not perfect and some very frustrating decisions made but the developers. The gameplay is to fun to ignore. And as we all know gameplay is king !!!!

    Um bom game com excelente gráfico, história bacana, um pouco repetitivo, porém o jogo lhe causa uma imersão devido aos ambientes retratado no mesmo, que chega a ser viciante visitar todos os ambientes do game.

    From start to finish, one of the best and most enjoyable games I've ever played. Everything in the game is designed brilliantly. The combat, the driving, the story, the world, the writing, the characters, the quests... it is a very fun open world game. And it looks amazing too! driving around with your badass Magnum Opus is so thrilling. Also, the explosions in this game look absolutelyFrom start to finish, one of the best and most enjoyable games I've ever played. Everything in the game is designed brilliantly. The combat, the driving, the story, the world, the writing, the characters, the quests... it is a very fun open world game. And it looks amazing too! driving around with your badass Magnum Opus is so thrilling. Also, the explosions in this game look absolutely amazing. The game encapsulates the world of Mad Max perfectly. The game has a lot of similar objectives to do, like a Ubisoft game, and it's incredibly fun to do them all, because you get important rewards to upgrade Max and your car and also the gameplay loop is really fun.

    And one of the most important things for me, and why I love this game is that it never gets boring the more you play it, it actually gets more fun when you upgrade all of your stuff. Not a lot of games can do this, a lot of games can get really boring after a while.     Es un juego muy disfrutable. Me gustó en el apartado jugable y los escenarios visiten mucho la acción en el carro. Lo malo del juego es que tiene una historia muy floja. Ojalá saquen segunda parte y mejoren los modelados de los personajes. En fin, lo recomiendo.

    Игра понравится не только поклонникам вселенной Mad Max, но и обычным геймерам, сюжет банален, но хорошо раскрывает персонажей и мир в котором находится главный герой, хочется отметить геймплей, система с модификациями и получением новых машин один из самых интересных опытов в игре, боёвка и стрельба сделаны просто, но со своей изюминкой.     I recommend. This game has a lot of mechanics which make it just great. It is pure fun to play. Only thing I do not really like is the story. But after playing The Witcher games... what game has got a good story? xD anyway I truly recommend

    Very surprised how addictive this game is. When I first started I thought I would be annoyed with the controls and basic npc interactions. Hours later I was still loving all the tasks and plenty of things to do. Obvious problems are there but the overall experience is very good and you will get addicted to this game!

    One of the best PS4 games to ever be made. Insane car combat and a world that will have you putting down your controller just to sit there in awe. Everyone should try this game.

    One of the greatest atmospheric games I’ve ever played. It has this amazing texture and you can feel the heat and the madness. I don’t know about those who find the games Mechanics not good enough, for me it’s so smooth and satisfying.

    Графика. Графика хороша собой, приятна глазу, цветокор соответствует сэттингу мира.
    Геймплей. Управление машиной одна из составляющих игры, машину можно кастомизировать по разному и добавлять разные пушки. Боевка в    7/10. Mad Max- отличная пост-апокалиптическая игра. Сюжет. Пожалуй одна из лучших игр в жанре пост-апокалипсис, если нравится такая атмосфера то сюжет покажется интересным.
    Графика. Графика хороша собой, приятна глазу, цветокор соответствует сэттингу мира.
    Геймплей. Управление машиной одна из составляющих игры, машину можно кастомизировать по разному и добавлять разные пушки. Боевка в игре очень хороша(похожа на бэтмен архам найт).

    imo the most overlooked and under rated game on the ps4 . even as a fan of the original films i myself did not pick this game up until two years after it come out and boy what a great game . films made into games are norm a let down but not this one . i wish i could wipe it from my mind and play it for the first time all over again . its so cheap to pick up now in 2021 dont miss out

Места поживы можно было сократить, разминирование вообще убрать, пугала, уничтожение катапульт, автомобилей со взрывчаткой вообще не интересно выполнять, раскопка лома и прочее не нпсишные задания то же, все это очень сильно утомляет. Гонки полностью проигнорировал ибо и так уже устал от игры.Главный вопрос такой, кому и зачем нужно было такое количество однообразных активностей на карте?     Лучше бы сосредоточились на классных лагерях, которые довольно интересно исследовать, если бы еще и лут был, кроме лома и построек, было б вообще отлично. Боевки не хватает разнообразия, стычкам и мини боссам вариативности.

    Есть ряд бесячих моментов, типа того где не отмечен желтой краской проход на вышку, или ночная миссия которая не берется днем, мне пришлось ждать час реального времени, пока солнце за горизонт не уйдет. В наличии пропадающая миссия Призраки прошлого, если ты вместо сюжета, зачисткой занялся и убежал, и пещерка с погребенной тачкой не откроется. Еще баг с непроходимым заданием по уничтожению машин со взрывчаткой все еще на месте, это с финальным патчем в игре 2015 года окей. Во второй половине игра немного подтормаживает, а шторм такой громкий что каждый раз приходится убавлять громкость.

    Но оценка все равно высокая, ибо атмосфера и клевые виды, интересное исследование и собирашки, боевка генерит зрелищные моменты (пока вы от них не устанете), кататься врезаться и взрывать машинки то же прикольно(пока вы и от этого не устанете), немного напоминает Кармагедон и Твистет Метал. Прокачка тоже мотивирует. Сюжет и персонажи колоритные.

    Вообщем не ожидал что на игру уйдет 80 часов. Думал будет что то похожее на Средеземье. Вообщем понравилось. 8 из 10.    … Expand

    I am surprised by the opinion of the "critics" of this game, she is good for a movie adaptation. There is action, story, nice graphics even crafting. I can recommend it, and if you play it, avoid the tornadoes :)

Для 21ого года , лично для меня игра выглядит очень устаревшей, но со 100% уверенностью могу сказать что если-бы я играл в год выпуска игры, то я бы наверное конкретно засел, хоть по сути даже для 15ого года есть игры и по лучше в плане свежести , например ведьмак. В целом прикольдесно6/10.     You can't platinum this game because of discontinued servers, which basically makes the "Up to the task" trophy unobtainable. So if you like to finish your games all the way through, I suggest you stay way clear of this game! (1/10 instead of 0/10 because it's not a bad game in itself)

    A true undiscovered gem,a diamond in the rough in the bargain bin. Great game play, open world concept. Mad Max is chalked full of great characters and locations that is is surprising that more games haven't been made in this universe. PS4 graphics are in beautiful 4K display from the dusty landscapes to the world ending storms. This games deserve your attention and you deserve the experience.

    Great game for the fans of Mad Max, very enjoyable. I have been playing for over sixteen and a half hours now, and am satisfied as someone who knows the game's universe since waaaay back, in the old days.
    Great car physics, speeding up and slowing down, the wasteland atmosphere is also there! Great job, Avalanche Studio.

    Эти покатушки меня всегда бесят в играх, но здесь это типа фишка всей серии, куда же без неё. Но как же эта фишка ужасно материализована в этой игре.
    В начале игры не дают даже порулить полностью идеальной, прокачанной машиной, чтобы оценить к чему надо стремиться!
    Кстати это часто позволяют в подобных играх.
    Мало того, что управлять не прокаченной машиной ужасно неудобно. Первые три часа вообще бесят, ты вроде вкладываешь средства в автомобиль, а он практически не меняется!
    Короче мне было очень приятно проходить пешую часть игры, но когда дело доходило до покатушек, то после 10 - 15 смертей (это же не Dark Souls, где в этом смысл), от злости, удаляешь игру и забываешь о ней месяца на два.
    Короче, игра для меня заработала как надо в последние 3-4 часа, когда машина, наконец, то прокачалась, ездила более менее прямо и не гибла от одного столкновения.
    В принципе Mad Max мне понравилась, но если будет продолжение, то хотелось бы увидеть переработку гоночного геймплея.    … Expand

    What a fantastic and underrated game. Especially when you come off this utterly disappointing Cyberpunk 2077 release. Mad Max is a lovely open world game everyone who love dystopian landscapes should try!!!

    Apparently your car can run out of gas. But it is rather pointless, you never do. And you rarely refill.

    The bad side:
    Repetitive stuff to do outside the main quest. this is common for almost every game just like Ubisoft releases. But at least it is not brain numbing boring. There is loot to pick up around the map, and they did a good job designing each location. There are caves and shacks all around, and they are not repeat location like camps in Assassins Creed. I was pretty surprised that the puniest piece of rubble can hide an entrance to a large underlevel cave. The great desert hides some really cool location when you get there.
    Story is very thin to be honest. You lose your car and go on a hellbent revenge trip to get it back, except you won´t get it back and you have to rebuild the car. Somewhere in there you really lose the perception if there really is a story. What are we chasing again? Oh yeah a Big block V8 engine.

    Despite some minor twists and irks this game runs surprisingly well. Some framerate drops on Ps4 Pro. but other than that there is little bugs to be seen.

    The game local for a desert does look very beautiful and the lighting is gorgeous. The post apocalyptic game world consists of backwards tribalism full of new age mysticism. So the game lore comes across weird and strange, but in a interesting way.

    The personal carrot on the stick was exploring the world and scavenging for scrap for better gear/vehicles. I really did not care either    The game local for a desert does look very beautiful and the lighting is gorgeous. The post apocalyptic game world consists of backwards tribalism full of new age mysticism. So the game lore comes across weird and strange, but in a interesting way.

    The personal carrot on the stick was exploring the world and scavenging for scrap for better gear/vehicles. I really did not care either way for the general story.

    I have seen this melee style of combat done before and better in Batman Arkham games. It takes a lot to get me into a third person and/or driving games these days. The scenic driving and car combat was fun. The melee combat worked, but nothing woo hoo.

    The overall game was a lot of doing the same stock stuff over and over again, but with more added intensity the further I progressed. I personally never got bored, because I was always seeing new locations when doing the same stuff. The map is huge and for a desert it had many a new nook and cranny to explore. The scripted end game BS was kind of annoying, but they wanted to push that cinematic look.

    Some small bugs and a few annoying glitches which led to very cheap deaths. Poorly optimized at times on the legacy PS4. With very bad slow downs in the frame rate when several cars are on screen. I had a lot of fun with this game, but the technical problems do effect the score.    … Expand

    This f#cking game here is bs to the max. The thing that pisses me off the most. The jump button. Its more like a hop. Dude doesn't even get 1 foot off the ground. The sand storms suck too. They can last from 1 to 5 minutes. A.I. is dumb as dog $#!+. Theres nothing special about this game just a lot of repetitive things. Plus the racing is trash.

    Amazing game!! Great story, gameplay,graphics, everything.The world is huge and full of fun things to do, and everything is done with an impressive polish and atention to detail. This game balances on foot combat,looting and exploration with veicular racing and destruction in an unique and amazing way. Those critcs must be all retards.

    Truly the most underrated game ever.

The only thing that pushes this game down is the bugs there are a ton of them, none of those who happened to me made me restart the game but I know that that happens.

    Not a perfect game but a lot of fun although quite repetitive, looks beautiful on ps4 pro but sometimes suffers ridiculously from frame rate issues but the good definitely outweighs the bad, unfortunately for mad max though it was overlooked that year but definitely worth a purchase.

After getting over theThere's a lot of fun to be had with Mad Max, unfortunately when it starts to shine you will also see the cracks that prevent this being anything more than a slightly better than average game. As Max your primary goal is to build and modify the Magnum Opus - your new set of wheels, after your famous interceptor (Black-on-Black) is taken away from you in the beginning. After getting over the initial hurdle at the beginning of the abysmal car handling, and Max being easily killed you start to settle into the open-world rhythm. You'll be scouring the wasteland for scrap to improve the Magnum Opus and Max's abilities. After about 3-4 hours you'll start to feel like the formidable force Max is in the films. Car customisation is a good driving force, and the hand-to-hand combat whilst not all that deep can be very entertaining. Unfortunately every facet of the game is serviceable without being stand-out. Car handling and combat can often be frustrating to control, even in the late game. The parry timing is just off in hand-to-hand combat to the point you just start to ignore the on-screen timing hints because they are plain wrong. The wasteland environment has some stand-out locations - old ships, oil rigs, canyons (and some cool surprise locations) etc - but eventually it just becomes dull driving through different types of sand. Mad Max will give you plenty to do in its 60+ hours game time if you want to get every collectable and piece of scrap, but ultimately most people will get so far in then just stick to the story missions to get it over with.… Expand

    A 69 from critics? SERIOUSLY? In this game you play as Max and you can literally design your own car called the Magnum Opus and you can do so many things. There are 300+ scavenging locations, so many car possibilities, so many enemy types and a very good story. Yes it has its faults but rating it a 69/100 is terrible. It is a very good game!

    Davvero un bel gioco.....le esplosioni, la guida e soprattutto i combattimenti sono il punto forte di questo gioco, e anche la storia non è male. Anche se purtroppo a lungo andare è ripetitivo lo consiglio a tutti, soprattutto a chi è amante dei giochi open world.

    It´s a pretty good game based on the mad max movie series, highly recommended to those who are fans of the saga (sometimes the game feels a little bit empty when you go around the wasteland, but nothing really awful or to take care about)

A simple story but in keeping with the universe to which it belongs, I especially liked the setting of several of the dungeons to explore in secondary missions or to find new parts for the car, with a dark and terrifying atmosphere. Between the skill tree, the upgrades to your abilities as well as to your car, you feel like a badass while you’re leveling up!!!!! For a post apocalyptic game, the graphics for the environments look amazing, not to mention the great effects of the sky & sunsets, etc. it even looks killer at night!!! I love the look of shadows of the clouds rolling across the landscapes! The hand to hand combat (which borrows heavily from the Batman games) has a real sense of weight and crunch to it, especially if you play with headphones! I love Avalanche games as I have played all of the Just Cause games since Just Cause 2. I would’ve loved to have seen a sequel for this game, but sadly i know we will never get one!!! :( I want to thank the team at Avalanche for this game, you branched out from Just Cause & made a KILLER game which unfortunately went way under the radar of many gamers!!!!!!!!… Expand

The characters are amazing and evolve well throughout the story. The sound effects and the car roar is outstanding.

The upgrades you need to do on your car so you can proceed on the main story are mainly based on eliminating a gang influence on the region and getting the upgrades from the enemies cars. Although the game can be boring in multiple moments, its still a great game for fans of the movies, and also, the graphics are lovely, also the map is nicely done and offers a wide open desert to explore.… Expand

    It's one of those games like MGS5,Ubisoft games where there's a huge map but you are basically repeating chores over and over without any effort into creating a story driven narrative. Once you get used to the novelty of the visuals, it's extremely dull

    Best game I've played! Much fun in the wasteland! TPS is more fun than FPS. I like North of Fist that is like mad max. I bought madmax, god of war and cod. Finally, mad max is much much better than the other 2 games.

    Its not a bad game on any terms, but it gets so mindlessly repetitive that I had to stop playing for a while and get back at it weeks later. On its core, its the batman combat style with cool cars, but I feel like the game really doesn’t give you that much to do. Not good, but not bad either, for a movie inspired game, it could have gone waaaay worse

    This game surprised the heck out of me. It was like a wasteland RPG with awesome quests but a GTA style car you drove around F***ing people up in. Really well made, decent size world and solid progression. Didn't like being gated by how strong my car was and lost interest after a while, but perhaps I'll go back to it one day. The fact it was free on PS plus one month is a steal

I would say that Mad Max is easier than most other PS4 games I playedThis game is really good for sure !     However, there is an important lack of diversity in the different strongholds that appear on the map (they all look the same). So, I can't recommend a 100% playthrough but I would say that if you complete the main story and do..let's say...half of the optional quests, you should have a great time with this game.

    We can easily compare this game to Far Cry and Assassin's Creed because of the open world design.

    Mad Max used its imagery well, and as a sandbox game, it's thematically pretty coherent. I actually liked this more than GTA V: driving around is more exiting, and Batman-style fist fighting is more fun than Gears of GTA -cover shootouts. [Oct 2015]
