This game is not scary but more boring. It gets kinda interesting at the end but it isn't really worth the journey. You can't die. No real puzzles other than look for the key and the correct path. I don't want to give away the plot as it is the only thing this game has but it is mystery that is left ambiguous to interpretation. There are lots of clues to find and there are what seems to be different endings but all of them aren't very interesting. At $3 for a couple of hours, most of it being in boredom, it probably is not worth your money. The most "unique" thing about this game is that some how a phone game got on Playstation 4. Expand

This game is what it tried to be - it's an uneasy adventure with great atmosphere. This game really isn't a game in any sense of the word, you just find items, click on them, read their backstory, keep going. You find out bits of the story and by the end shape it all back together, and even though it's a short game, I just can't recommend it for its absurd price.

This game is really boring and can be easily speedrun with all possible achievements unlocked in under 2 hours.

Compared to other games belonging to the same genre (indie horror games), Home is not particularly good. In my opinion, the fact that text boxes fill the whole screen makes the experience significantly worse. It is not as creepy as it could/should be. On the other hand, there are some interesting narrative ideas and the vocavulary used is quite nice.

I'll give it a MEH out of 10. The reason being because overall, the game was just one big meh. The story was boring, the horror aspect of the game was some loud noises in the background, and the game itself just failed to grab me. I don't regret playing it, but it left very little to itself and didn't really deserve to be called a horror game in my opinion. I am a sucker for those pixelI'll give it a MEH out of 10. So I will give it that. Expand

It’s an interesting way to tell a story that doesn’t necessarily have one true conclusion.

It can easily be enjoyed in its entirety in a single sitting, but there’s some decent replay value here if you’d like to indulge in all of the different permutations of its plot. And while it may not be for everyone, with a $2.99 price point, we reckon that it’s worth taking a risk on.

Home is a dark and spooky game that breaks away from other horror titles out on the PlayStation 4.
