A "choose your own adventure" style video game that lacks the substance to fall into the "adventure" genre. Point to the table, there's a note on the table. Read the note and pretend you understand what's going on in the story. This is the biggest hiccup in what I can only assume was a game marketed to young children or parents who still think Goosebumps is scary. Read the note and pretend you understand what's going on in the story. This is the biggest hiccup in what I can only assume was a game marketed to young children or parents who still think Goosebumps is scary. There are several endings, and the game is short enough to where if you're a fan of the overly simplified formula, you can replay the entire thing in a little under 2 hours and see a different ending. Not that it matters, because no game has ever conveyed any kind of story effectively in a 2 hour span, thus killing the driving force of this independent entry. Don't pay for it if you want to try it, wait for it to be free again (already happened twice) and check it out then. Just be sure to have a back-up game for after the first ten minutes of short, boring text sequences and flat graphics/sound/everything. 3/10 Expand

I payed $0.95 for this game, and i wont be happy until atleast $0.93 is donated to the orphans at 555 gruel slop lane and tell em not to waste it on ur crappy game. This is the worst story game i have ever played. I most certainly hope they dont port it to super nintendo. Ive read better stories in random half chard newspaper clippings off the sidewalk.1 point because it runs, 2 points forI payed $0.95 for this game, and i wont be happy until atleast $0.93 is donated to the orphans at 555 gruel slop lane and tell em not to waste it on ur crappy game. It’s an interesting way to tell a story that doesn’t necessarily have one true conclusion.

It can easily be enjoyed in its entirety in a single sitting, but there’s some decent replay value here if you’d like to indulge in all of the different permutations of its plot. And while it may not be for everyone, with a $2.99 price point, we reckon that it’s worth taking a risk on.

Home is a dark and spooky game that breaks away from other horror titles out on the PlayStation 4.
