It’s an interesting way to tell a story that doesn’t necessarily have one true conclusion.

Home is a dark and spooky game that breaks away from other horror titles out on the PlayStation 4.

It can easily be enjoyed in its entirety in a single sitting, but there’s some decent replay value here if you’d like to indulge in all of the different permutations of its plot. And while it may not be for everyone, with a $2.99 price point, we reckon that it’s worth taking a risk on.

It gets kinda interesting at the end but it isn't really worth the journey. You can't die. No real puzzles other than look for the key and the correct path. I don't want to give away the plot as it is the only thing this game has but it is mystery that is left ambiguous to interpretation. There are lots of clues to find and there are what seems to be different endings but all of them aren't very interesting. At $3 for a couple of hours, most of it being in boredom, it probably is not worth your money. The most "unique" thing about this game is that some how a phone game got on Playstation 4. Read the note and pretend you understand what's going on in the story. This is the biggest hiccup in what I can only assume was a game marketed to young children or parents who still think Goosebumps is scary. There are several endings, and the game is short enough to where if you're a fan of the overly simplified formula, you can replay the entire thing in a little under 2 hours and see a different ending. Not that it matters, because no game has ever conveyed any kind of story effectively in a 2 hour span, thus killing the driving force of this independent entry. Don't pay for it if you want to try it, wait for it to be free again (already happened twice) and check it out then. Just be sure to have a back-up game for after the first ten minutes of short, boring text sequences and flat graphics/sound/everything. 3/10 Full Review »
