    It's a good interactive film which choosing the wrong decisions consequence the characters. The graphics and the narrative are the best points meanwhile the music is not memorable. The most I like it is the end and the way of the characters change their mentality.
    I recommend to everybody but I would say that the version of Ps4 (remastered) is exactly the same as the Ps3 game.

First sign that the devs obviously don’t give a **** about the game anymore. Glitches abound, some of the worse voice acting I’ve ever seen, and some endings that have zero logic to them.     Mark Twain, once golf a good walk spoiled. The same can be said for Heavy Rain. An OK story turned into a slow stumble of quick-time events. Also features unimpressive voice acting and a non-intuitive set of controls.

    Heavy Rain is one of those games that was simply ahead of its time and wasn't fully appreciated by many people.
    I'm into this story-based game and Heavy Rain delivers big time. An awesome psychological thriller to say the least.

    The story is good but the controls make it almost unplayable. The camera angles constant mess up and then you'll need to change it every time you change area. And for some unknown reason you need to hold R2 to walk in a game that requires constant walking. But it gets worse. If you release the stick it continues moving so it's not like you can just hold the button at all times. I can'tThe story is good but the controls make it almost unplayable.     Solid game, with a good story, but very uninteresting in terms of the whole "game" aspect. The controls are dreadful. Still would definitely recommend it as a one-time playthrough.     Honestly there isn't anything like this game. its story and characters are so ridiculous in the game but also so real at the same time, the characters are deep and great studies on people as a whole and how we function mentally.     Although the controls are not very good, the story is very good and has multiple different endings and multiple characters. Your characters can die or survive according to your choices, it depends on your decisions and instant actions.

    I played Heavy Rain for the first time in 2022 on PS5 and I have some mixed feelings. First of all the plot is decent but it has some holes in it. Main characters are good enough but I’ve seen better and I also had a „why are you doing this” feeling in few moments during the game. Game also crashed few times during gameplay. All in all, the game wasn’t bad, I can say it is enjoyable, but it certainly shows its age.     Las decisiones que tomas son muy importables porque pueden llevar a la muerte de tus personajes, el juego no tiene un único final.

    Teniendo en cuenta el año de lanzamiento del titulo tiene unos gráficos muy buenos para la época.

    La jugabilidad, es muy buena pero si que es verdad que hay veces que no detecta correctamente el movimiento del mando y da errores o como pulsar el R2 para poder andar, puede llegar a ser molesto pero te acabas acostumbrando...

    En cuanto a la historia me ha parecido impresionante, impresionante como se ha ido desarrollando y al acabar el videojuego me he quedado boquiabierto por el final del mismo. Todos los personajes aportan algo a la historia sean jugables o no (especialmente los jugables).

    Yo recomiendo que juguéis este juego, sobre todo a las personas que le encantan los juegos interactivos que este titulo no os va a decepcionar.

    incredible story, isnt much there in terms of gameplay (which can even be boring at times... screw the stupid scene at the park) but the story is its main focus and it delivers signifcantly

    mbitious but limited game trying to be a movie and ending up as a joke. The cascade of choices is an illusion for most of the game, pushing the protagonists onwards on rails to move the plot forward. It's a rip off of Se7en just with lots of plot holes.

    Another QuanticDream game and another masterpiece congratulations to David Cage and his team one more time.Amazing story and storytelling,Also every character in this game is alive and they have personalities they are not just NPC's.I recommend this game.

Yes, this is a feature film, and after the first passage you understand that there are big holes in the plot, but there is almost no gameplay. But it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. And after almost 10 years, IHeavy Rain at one time was the main reason for me to buy a PS3. For 2010, when interactive film games were still scarce, Heavy Rain looked like something new and fresh. Yes, this is a feature film, and after the first passage you understand that there are big holes in the plot, but there is almost no gameplay. But it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. And after almost 10 years, I flashed the game on the PS4 Pro and got the same experience. I advise everyone to go through Heavy Rain.     4. The strip club scene is completely unnecessary and the female character (Madison) is needlessly sexualized with the camera constantly showing her behind all the time for no reason.

    I did relatively enjoy my playthrough with Heavy Rain. But the issues prevent me from giving this a green rating. So 7/10. Certainly will never play this again. If i want to see the other endings ill just watch them on YouTube or replay the last few chapters. Same with a particular change in chapter.     This is a masterpiece in 2022. Is one of the best games that i ever play. This game is simply perfect mainly because of its creative plot, the character development is incredible and personally I had a great time playing it. It's such a good story and so creepy. I highly recommend it to this day it will be a masterpiece

No spoilers one point fell rushed beyond belief and the other was a illogical inconsistency. Where outcome should of created the opposite of my first run happy ending.     Acabo de terminar el juego ... me he quedado boquiabierto, este juego tiene una muy buen anarrativa personajes que cada uno cuenta historia , todos tienen algo que aportar en el juego , sean jugables o parte de la historia, juego esto en 2022 graficamente no está mal pero la jugabilidad es bastante "tosca" por lo demás está genial , lo recomiendo 100x100 para jugar solo , con tu pareja oAcabo de terminar el juego ... me he quedado boquiabierto, este juego tiene una muy buen anarrativa personajes que cada uno cuenta historia , todos tienen algo que aportar en el juego , sean jugables o parte de la historia, juego esto en 2022 graficamente no está mal pero la jugabilidad es bastante "tosca" por lo demás está genial , lo recomiendo 100x100 para jugar solo , con tu pareja o un amigo , compartir puntos de vista en este juego es muy interesante a la hora de tomar decisiones , cada decisión cuenta para el final de la historia así que ten cuidado .. suerte y disfrutalo.… Expand

    I originally bounced off of this game pretty hard. The movement controls are terrible (they don't get better) and the story starts off real slow. I don't want to play with kids in real life, much less be forced to in order to move the story along in a game. But it does have some neat twists and turns throughout the story and I'm glad I went back to finish it.

    I have played many games like this (Beyond: Two Souls, Detroit, Telltale Games) so it isn't a problem in every game done in this style. But this experience was purposefully tedious at times. You could be running for your life or fighting a murderer and then ten minutes later you're puttering around an apartment making scrambled eggs. I get why they did it that way, but it feels really artsy and brings the pacing to a grinding halt.

    The characters also didn't really stand out to me. For starters, each one had that creepy "LA Noir" style face animation that was popular at the time. And even worse-all of them were British voice actors doing bad American accents! If you have a mostly English cast with beautiful English accents, just set the game in England for Pete's sake! The game would have been so much better without every character pronouncing "Origami" like "Miami". Every single vowel out of Norman's mouth sounded uncomfortable and made me cringe.

    All those problems aside, once I got to the Trials the game really does get interesting. I went from wanting to shorten the game by eliminating characters to trying my darndest to get the best ending possible and catch the killer.

    Overall a pretty worthwhile experience if you can look past a few faults.    … Expand

Ethan Mars is almost as annoying as his va's acting, the storyline is so mediocre to how people hype it up to be and the twist isn't even that great. For shame.… Expand

    Der perfekte Thriller mit vielen Plottwists und schwierigen Entscheidungen, die durch die Spielenden zu lösen sind. Packend und moralisch aufgeladen zugleich. Die PS4 Version wirkt technisch jedoch etwas veraltet (9/10).

    But the main thing about this game is story. I had like three 100% sure suspects while playing. -2 points for FBI agent line, I couldn't make it because of the gas station tickets I missed, they weren't glowing while wearing those tech glasses in club's office.

    I heard about Heavy Rain on PS3 when I was a kid. I knew I was good at that time. But after beating this game, I was amazed by how good this game is. Every second of it is dramatic and I couldn’t put the controller down. I know the control is clunky. But still, it’s one of the best games I have ever played.

    Heavy rain is a great narration based game. It comes from the same studio as Detroit Become Human which aces narration driven gaming. There are lots of good things about Heavy rain and a couple of things that aren't great.

    The pros include the amazing music that is very soothing to listen to. Great narration based story that unfolds slowly, character emotions that are portrayed well.     Unfortunately, Heavy rain leaves a couple of questions unanswered like how the narrator became so poor after being shown as coming from an affluent family initially, the plot holes that the other comments would have already covered also aren't explained.

    Overall, Despite it's flaws, Heavy Rain is a great game with flaws and bad controls. Definitely not a 10/10 but deserves a good rating for a great take on narration based gaming and the music.    … Expand

    Dark and hopeless atmosphere of pouring rain and mysterious killer kidnapping kids on the streets.
    There is very few games I played till the end, but this is one of them. Beautiful graphics, deep dive into game great story. Controls and cameras are sometimes weird, but you get used to it very quick, and they are not ones, making    Magnificent action adventure in interactive movie style.
    Dark and hopeless atmosphere of pouring rain and mysterious killer kidnapping kids on the streets.
    There is very few games I played till the end, but this is one of them. Beautiful graphics, deep dive into game great story.
    Controls and cameras are sometimes weird, but you get used to it very quick, and they are not ones, making the gameplay.
    I'd rate it as 9.5 out of 10, mostly because I played Detroit: Become Human, otherwise it would be 10 out of 10.    … Expand

I sadly have to say I think the reason for this is because they are one of the few developers that is actually committed to telling stories without traditional gameplay, not because of David Cage's writing talent. The neo-noir world with a dash of sci-fi is pretty interesting,    SHAAAAAAUUUUN!!!

    The neo-noir world with a dash of sci-fi is pretty interesting, but it is the horrible writing, acting and very annoying attempts to make the story more interactive that really bring the experience down to an absolute low most of the time.
    There are so many god awful shallow characters here that are easily B-movie Netflix quality, but yet the game takes itself super seriously so you just sit there as an observer while the head of the screenwriter disappears in his own ass.

    There is a moment when you need to hold a baby as a character and really carefully move the controller left and right to make it fall asleep which makes you reattempt it after you fail. You can't actually progress the story if you didn't make the baby fall asleep so it really isn't a narrative choice but just a really really dumb chore you have to finish. Why this just wasn't a cutscene is beyond me.

    I failed to rock the baby around twenty times and kind of wanted it to smash it and my controller to the wall because I was so irritated at that point, not only because the controls are horrible but also because the only reason I wanted to finish that task was to get to more toe-curling bad writing and cringy acting performances.

    The only thing the story has is the twist at the end, but even that I disliked because it is just set up with cheap manipulative writing tactics.

    3/10 because of the world and visuals, the rest is really bad in my humble (personal) opinion.    … Expand

The player is constantly second-guessing their assumptions about the characters which makes learning more about the characters an immersive experience.     I played up until the point where you are looking for the luggage locker and I stopped playing. I can't bare this anymore. Insanely boring slow and pointless 90% of the time. You could easily compress this game to one tenth the time it took to reach this point. The controls suck. The camera sucks. I had a tiny bit of fun in one or two scenes in the game till this point.     After completing the game in a ps4 pro, here are my review for the game. The graphics is literally like ps2 and the control movement and camera are as bad as ps1 classic perhaps maybe worse. But i scored it fairly high because its story is absolutely fantastic dragging the whole game really fun to play. The characters are memorable and charming specially Madison. My score is supposed to beAfter completing the game in a ps4 pro, here are my review for the game. Whether It be the dated visuals, the occasionally horrible acting particularly of ethan Mars, wonky control scheme that has awful motion controls that don't work half the time and yet still manages to be an enjoyable murder mystery, where you really want to find out who the killer is and what their motivations are. The characters are mostlyHeavy rain is a game that certainly shows it age. Whether It be the dated visuals, the occasionally horrible acting particularly of ethan Mars, wonky control scheme that has awful motion controls that don't work half the time and yet still manages to be an enjoyable murder mystery, where you really want to find out who the killer is and what their motivations are. The characters are mostly likeable and your own input on the story shapes them as well as the story itself as you progress through it. The level of choices are what David Cage games are praised for and this game does a fine job of it in my opinion. While the controls where occasionally an issue the desire to figure out the mystery of the origami killer got be through this "Good" adventure and the different ways it can play out may be enough to pull me back or at least a binge of YouTube videos to see the other scenarios. Guess I will check out the rest of Cages work… Expand

    Absolute masterpiece! The story is so thrilling, I couldn't get my eyes away from it. The detective work is one the best in gaming industry. And some choices are so hard to make, I was sitting half an hour, thinking about my next step.

    I played this game after Until Dawn and I have to say that it is great too. The best thing is that you have to live the game like you are in the game. It is like a thriller movie: I recommend it! You will love Heavy Rain ❤️

If you love Quantic Dream's works Heavy Rain is definitely a game you should "EXPERIENCE" not just play. I didn't like the denouement. It felt like it doesn't fits the story in the way it's supposed to be.Music could be more diverse and effective.     Puede sonar un poco injusto evaluar Heavy Rain luego de varios años, y habiendo probado ya otras entregadas de Quantic Dream; pero creo que hay cosas que se deben destacar y otras que sinceramente se debieron pulir (o fueron pulidas en otras entregas de este estudio). La historia es espectacular, te atrapa, y tiene un mejor efecto que ver una película de cine; ya que si bien la duración esPuede sonar un poco injusto evaluar Heavy Rain luego de varios años, y habiendo probado ya otras entregadas de Quantic Dream; pero creo que hay cosas que se deben destacar y otras que sinceramente se debieron pulir (o fueron pulidas en otras entregas de este estudio).     This game is pretty good. It's a really good crime thriller and it has a interesting story. You play as four characters, leading up to the end. Each character can die if you mess up too much, or if you mess up too much you get extra chapters following up on what happened. Some of the achievements are a little bit weird so be cautious of that.

    Decent story that lose the magic once you know the secret. This got pretty bad looking even on the remaster but you can't expect good gameplay and graphics on a game that it's focused on story. Decent and probably the only game of the creators worth playing.

    Although there are a few moments where you don't really know why you're interacting with the game, for the most part, this story-driven adventure is thrilling, with plenty of suspense and action. Although it offers many possible endings, once you figure out the main plot devise (who did it), there aren't that many attractions for replayability.

В игре построенной на QTE - ужасные QTE. Игра, которая "симулятор хотьбы" с совершенно отрватной раздражающей хотьбой.
    Реализация идеи "усложним чтобы было поинтереснее" получилась на уровне "отрежем ноги и выдадим ходули" - во такой гениальный ход господина Кейджа и квантикдримс.
    Завидую людям, у которых это, видимо, первая игра в жизни и что можно все тоже самое реализовать нормально, не через жопу они не знаю и пребывают в таком восторге.    … Expand

    The controls are wonky. I honestly wouldn't have minded if the game were simply a movie with QT button commands throughout, but there are so many segments where you have to walk by holding R2 and change direction with the R-stick. Not sure why this was the case, but I sure spun around a lot. I eventually got used to it, but I still didn't care for it.

    The story, at its base, is good. The meat on the bones is a little crazy and often stupid, but there are some delightfully gut-wrenching bits too. It's a bit of a slog getting to the parts where things pick up, but all-in-all it was a middle-of-the-road meh leaning towards OK.    … Expand

    Controls suck big time, but other than that an interesting story. Graphics are OK on the PS4. The voice acting is decent but cringe worthy in some segments.

    Overall an enjoyable but painfull ride control-wise

    This game has some cringy and funny moments which is not good considering this game is supposed to have a serious tone. But I did for the most part like this story.However remember this is not really a game more like a movie you make choices in.

    I still love this master piece and replaying it again on PS4 enhanced the experience.

    Keep in mind that the title originally came out in 2011, so "remastering" does what it can.

    If you didn't play the original release, now is a good time to do so.
    One of my favourites.

    The game is something unusual and unconventional compare to all the games out there. The story is remarkable and irrespective of the fact that it might not involve "fighting" and "killing" it is a game that you should not miss. The story will make you cry, to say the least.

    It doesn’t offer anything new for anyone who already played the original. On the other hand, the graphics are significantly overhauled, making this remastered version a safe choice for anyone who didn’t had the chance to experience this excellent interactive drama.
