The decision to retroactively make Bridget trans is absolutely baffling - as a gay man, disappointing to lose representation

Will never get to play the game because I will not support this woke nonsense.

A bloke that for the whole series hated being pressured in to acting like a girl has decided **** it I love being a girl now? Total BS and I won't support this ****ing nonsense. I even just read on a blog somewhere someone trying to make sure they had the pronouns right. For a ****ing video game character.

God for ****ing bid you upset a video game character by using the wrong pronouns by calling a boy he. When he didn't like being a she in the ****ing first place and he isn't even ****ing real, you ****ing **** witted bell ends.

Oh and on top of that the being **** you of charging £40 for 9 characters. I never agree with boycotting games but in this case, I would be a fool not to. Even at Black Friday sale prices it is £57 for the game and all 9 extra characters. Pathetic.

Great artwork, mechanics, and netcode, but half of the time you can't get into a game because of lobby errors.

Guilty Gear -Strive- is a superb entry in the 2D Fighter genre, and has the looks, sounds, and stability to back the claim. While smaller compared to other titles, the initial roster of fifteen fighters feels distinct, and most picks have a fitting theme to complement their personality and playstyle. The Story Mode does a great job showcasing who these characters are, while providing a good narrative to boot - and while the act of getting matched with other players can be a pain, the online play experience is incredibly solid. Let's rock!

The soundtrack is easily one of the best I have heard for a fighter. All Guilty Gear games have a beautiful rock soundtrack and Strive certainly does too. The game has many lyrical rock tracks. If you’re the slightest bit curious about this game be sure to give it a try. I’m not even really a fan of Guilty Gear, but I instantly loved Guilty Gear Strive when I first started to play it. It’s easy to tell a good fighter when the game feels so fluid and easy to pick up and play from the beginning. In this day and age, fluid online play means a lot for a fighter and Strive definitely has you covered there as well.

Guilty Gear Strive is undoubtedly another great entry in the series. It’s incredibly intricate yet friendly gameplay, attractive character designs, and inviting next-gen visuals are but a few of the reasons you should pick up this game, especially if you're a fighting game fanatic.
