Worth a look for first-timers, but no need to rush back to it if you've already played in on Vita.

Remaster proves that Gravity Rush became a thing on PS Vita mostly because of Vita’s game drought – for home console its gameplay and story are both rather lackluster. [Issue#206, p.74]

An excellent remaster of an imperfect but hugely endearing action adventure, that completely justifies the ongoing plans for a sequel.

Gravity Rush Remastered is a great upgrade from the PS Vita original thanks to a solid 60fps 1080p presentation. The joy of exploring the world of Hekseville is still very much intact, with the gravity shifting ability once again acting as the main source of fun and enjoyment. However, the boring missions combine with poor combat mechanics to make for a lesser experience than the concept deserves.

Despite its problems, Gravity Rush is an adventure worth taking not just because there's hardly anything like it, but because it leverages its distinct gameplay to great effect, freeing you from the hold of gravity in a world worth exploring.

Gravity Rush Remastered will have you purring at the potential that its sequel looks set to fulfil, but it's a fine release in its own right.

It’s easy to understand owners of the PS Vita were happy with this game in 2012, but three years later, on the PS4, it doesn’t feel like a full-fledged game. Entertaining and very cute, but not full-fledged. [feb. 2016 / page 062]

Gravity Rush is a treat for the eyes, but still an uninspired game with boring mechanics.

Precise remaster of PS Vita key title is a must for all fans of Gravity Rush regardless the final score. Others will probably notice the flaws due to the handheld origin of the title.

A Remastered release shouldn't be cutting corners, and it seems silly that the game's four major zones are all still so faded, dull, and repetitious.

    Cons:

    - None of the mysteries are really solved
    - Boss battles are disappointing
    - No restart button for missions, this is especially annoying in the challenge missions
    - Tutorial is way too long
    - Parts of the game that take away your gravity powers are boring
    - Combat, the gravity kick in particular, can sometimes feel inaccurate against the larger enemies
    - Combat is one-dimensional
