the truth has now appeared the purpose of making the game requires internet connection its juste for money not to fight cheating i am disappointed that this game has become for a sagment of people not for everyone my journey with this game is over i also advise polyphony digital to change their slogan into * the real credit card simulator *

Microtransactions ruined this AAA game. Been loyal GT fan for generations and now this Bs nonsense. Get your head out from your greedy hole Kazunori and fix this crap!

Microtransactions in a 70$ game? I'm a dad and this is ridiculous. 350 races without spending anything to get one of the rare cars....

The collision rules are really crap :
They made this game more realistic than ever before, hence cars are much more difficult to handle and they kept the same rules as the early GTS

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Worst in the series. Graphics have barely changed since GT Sport, very little new cars and tracks after 5 years. Few road cars from the last 5 years are present and the Gr.3 category is outdated. Menu design is not intuitive. Unacceptable AI for a 2022 racing game and a poor career mode called GT Café with no actual racing as you chase the rabbit and encounter rubber-banding AI. Online is a complete disaster, Sport Mode hasn't been improved from GT Sport and lobbies are backwards and mostly deserted by now. The grind is the worst of all GT games with low race payouts to encourage microtransaction purchases. FOMO everywhere. Split screen is broken. Not possible to sell cars unlike every other main GT game. Many QOL features from GT Sport missing from GT7. The soundtrack is poor and reusing mostly Daiki Kasho tracks. To top it all off, PD are out of touch with what the community wants. Either something changes with the management of PD or GT8 will not be any better. Expand

I am a GT player from GT 1 on ps1. And played all the GT series from 1 to 6. Online saving only is the worst thing i saw in the gaming world. But for those who wants only a classic GT experience, like it was in GT 1 to 6. Make an offline only mode, without online function. It will be the greatest thing. And the worst is, that I can't get a refund because the disc is open. Thank you Polyphony and Sony for such a... I don't know how to call it really. Expand

GT7 doesn’t feel like a truly new game – more like an upgraded version of Sports. But it’s par for the course for the series: each generation, Polyphony Digital makes a solid foundation and then builds upon it. [Issue#260, p.38]

Gran Turismo 7 strikes the perfect balance between accessibility and realism in a way that caters to casual players and veterans. It's a gorgeous racing game with a surprisingly addictive gameplay loop thanks to the new Café and Menu Books systems. While some modes are certainly not as strong as others, Gran Turismo 7 checks almost all the boxes of what a driving simulator should be.

A return to form for Gran Turismo. After too many years, Polyphony Digital crafted an almost perfect iteration of Gran Turismo, where past and present blend together for an epic journey through the car culture.
