    Going Under is a fantastic roguelike dungeon crawler with a keen satirical edge and addictive gameplay. Very good indeed.

    Going Under is an excellent roguelite that is challenging, rewarding and hilarious at the same time. It takes a little while to get going, but once it does it's a delight. As a scathingly satirical look at tech startups and culture it's likely unmatched, helping it to stay fresh and funny for a long time.

For those looking for an accessible starting point in roguelikes, or those who just need some delightful takedowns of late-stage capitalism, this is it.

    Going Under is a brilliant first release from Aggro Crab Games, combining challenging gameplay, rewarding combat and a wealth of possibilities in terms of both the dungeons and the enemies. Though let down by a myriad of performance issues and bugs, fixes are promised in upcoming patches, as is a variety of post-launch content. For £15.99, you can't go wrong.

    A lot of fun, but there is something counter intuitive about blocking off halve the power ups through playthrough progression so that they're less available synergies early on. I know this is common for these AA rogue likes, but why? Just ditch the progression.

Setting a game in 21st big tech start ups is a clever move as there's tons of absurdity around 21st century capatalism to explore. The dialogue is well written and had me laughing throughout the course of my run through.

    Combat is typical to the genre but still fun. The art style is vibrant, pastel lo-fi and very fitting for the new minimalist logo millennial age. Worth a play if you're not sick of the roguelike genre yet    … Full Review »
