I played for a little but from what I played its not worth $20 more like $10-$15 would do.
Graphics are that of something from warhammer dawn of war 2.
Sound is ok no songs really pop but the in game sound is well heard. Gameplay, is that of a dungeon crawler without levels on your character so its based on your gear. to get gear you need to enter the dungeon get gold and buy gear to

I played online with 1 other person I just quick matched with. its ok but I highly suggest you dont quick match since you might run into someone like me where he had to game for a bit of time and died so many times, while I the noob wasnt.

Overall, Its a fun game but it's not a solo game it is a party game so get some friends with the game and you'll be set. I rated it so low due to the fact that it pretty much is like a weak version of Diablo 3. it can hold its own with all the indie games comeing out but to the AAA games its like a B.

Disponible pour moins de 20€, cette derniere version de Gauntlet est vraiment fun. Difficile mais jouissif, ce jeu est un bon retour aux sources meme s'il est dommage que le titre ne dispose pas d'un systeme de progression du personnage via l'experience

    Gauntlet: Slayer Edition

Game-Play: The game-play is a dungeon crawler style and it is really fun to play with your friends. Some great classes and skills but most of the items are useless. I really recommend to play at hard difficulty because the game is really easy. Story: Not much of a story in the game it is mostly go to the next floor, go to the next floor and go to the next

Story: Not much of a story in the game it is mostly go to the next floor, go to the next floor and go to the next floor. It will take you to complete about 5 to 7 hours.

Graphics: Outdated graphics but fit in very well with the mood of the game.

Notes: You should give this game a try especially if you find it at a sale and you should play with friend but you should play the game because it is a good game at the end.

Boring and repetitive. If You have friends to play in coop it may be nice time-waster but overall I cant really recommend it... Its just to bland and... generic. You have the feeling I already been there done that from the beginning till the end of the game...

A fun little time waster. I wouldn't play this on my own, but with my brother, on the sofa in the evenings, it is good fun. It would have been nice with some leveling, and more loot/things to spend it on, but it is a fine little game.

Gauntlet is a pretty good game, but it lacks certain stuff that could have made it even better. You have 4 heroes from whom you can choose to play with and you collect gold in order to buy different items. It would have been better in my opinion if you could level up your character and if enemies dropped random items.

Fun co op game. Incredible progression mode, it's fairly short, and it will take a few hours to play. The game takes you through a journey that is both fun and it has lots of puzzles. I recommend playing it with a friend.

It's not a triple A game, but it really entertains a lot. I had never played any Gauntlet before, had heard of them, but so far hadn't had a chance to try one.

I'd say it's some sort of arcade style game, with a very similar gameplay to Diablo3, which I played on PC and it was fine, aside all the technical issues it had with Blizzard servers. It does look like a normal and flat rushing

It does look like a normal and flat rushing game, but I had a blast playing online with some teammates, real fun. I haven't been lucky enough to play local-coop, but I've read very positive reviews about it.

The graphics are friendly, the music is fine, sometimes too epic, but that's not bad at all! The campaign mode difficulty isn't very high, I played hard from the beggining and I wasn't complicated. Which might require a little bit more effort to get done is the survival mode, but eventually you get used to it when you find a good mechanic and a coordinated team.

The only thing I didn't like is how you achieve the Platinum trophy... you have to repeat everything over and over and over again, and eventually you get bored at some point. It's what killed Diablo3 for me, having to repeat the levels over and over again to get better equipment. I mean, it's not a hard Platinum, it's just a bit tiresome.

But anyway, given the fact that I got it for free with the PSPlus, it's given me many hours of fun and I really estimate that.

It's a good couple weekends with buddies. I do miss the leveling and loot(ish) systems of older titles. Still a very good time though it just doesn't hold me for as many hours as and sessions as an older one had.

Great fun game to play with mates in the same room. Reinventing a classic is never easy by they have got this spot on. Highly recommend it as a party game with friends round!

This game had major potential. Being as the last games they had, back on the PS1 and then Seven Sorrows on Ps2 were both really good. I had high hopes going into this game.
But like most games now. They ruined their potential. They took away the fun of venturing through a co-op campaign game. And instead gave us a map board.

The game was fun for a little while. But no mazes, or real exploration. Just a linear path of enemies. Not as fun as the older games. It was definitely lacking.
The combat was basic, the skills and equipment were lacking. It's not great when the old PS1 game had more to it than the newest one.

Gauntlet is good for coop fun. In you can’t play with friends you miss all the fun.

Gauntlet: Slayer Edition is a passable action-RPG for those desperately looking for a dungeon crawler to play with friends but it doesn’t offer much in the way of replayability or unique concepts to really recommend past that.

There are moments in Gauntlet: Slayer Edition that shine. Whether it’s successfully taking out a room full of enemies with your three co-op partners or, even better, single-handedly, because your friends already died and now they owe you a debt. These are the moments that people will play for despite its repetitive nature, but that repetition is ultimately the deal-breaker and the other issues only serve to reinforce that there are other games in the genre that do it better.
