I wouldn't do so well in this world, apparently. Practically all my choices resulted in disaster and practically no help came for the climax. But, my inability to save Ironrath aside, it's a complete grind to get there. Unlike the Batman games which move at a good clip, this is boooooring, and many of the options you choose from are either irrelevant or counter-intuitive.

Those who like to play choose-your-owns and revel in deceit and lies and/or just enjoy the Game of Thrones mythos may thrive and get enjoyment, but probably few others.

Telltale games are the worst. Not sure who is enjoying a barely interactive visual novel. Theres a better medium for what theyre going for, theyre called BOOKS.

I came in expecting it to be bad and was still dissapointed. Telltale by now has built up a reputation of fooling you into thinking that your choices matter in the grand scheme of things. Well guess what, they don't. ''This guy will remember that'' translates into ''Oh he'll say a different word or two next time you talk to him''. 6 episodes full of ''choices'' and maybe only 2 or 3I came in expecting it to be bad and was still dissapointed. It starts decently and is actually engaging in it's first episode but it quickly loses that in the following ones. I'm not giving it a 0 just because episode 4 was really well done in my opinion and is largely the only one worth playing.
By the 5th episode they were still introducing new plots, new characters when they should've been starting to build up the finale.
The 6th episode is just a mess. It makes you think that they were too busy with the minecraft game and forgot entirely that they were supposed to finish this series as well.
The ending was just so horribly done it's almost hilarious. Initially I got what I assumed was a bad ending, so I replayed it, did things differently, made some different choices and was only semi-surprised to find out that it doesn't really matter what you do. By comparison, Mass Effect 3 had 3, diffrently colored endings. This one has slightly different shades of grey. I looked up some videos on all the different variants of the ending and guess what? It's the exact same, with minor differences here and there, but ultimately the same.
Don't bother with this game, or any telltale game for that matter. Read the books or watch the show, at least there you're not given the illusion that you have any sort of impact on the events.

Same as other Telltale games... This "game" does not have gameplay at all!!! It's more-less watching (bad) animated movie pressing conversation buttons from time to time. And yes, conversations you choose does not influence game progression in any way!

The most boring game I ever played. The story is lame and the choices are poorly made, the characters are boring. The game is also very buggy, i experienced several fps drops and texture bugs.

Goddamn, this game is boring. The hell happened here? This is worst than Season 7 and 8 combined! Wow my man. Y'all really went all out on this one. Oof. Terrible game. Please do not waste your time and money. You crazy or something?

Telltale games are always pretty hit or miss and this one, unfortunately, was a complete miss for me. I didn't get attached to any of the characters and I found the plot extremely boring.
It's not all bad, the art is pretty good and it's always nice to meet characters you read about or saw in the show, but it's not good in any way.

I won’t give another Telltale game two pages in our magazine again, until they’ve cleaned up their shit and made some actual technical improvements. The world keeps turning, please try to keep up. [feb. 2016 / page 061]

Game of Thrones copies the well the world and spirit of its source material, however the story and characters don’t achieve the same levels. [Dec 2015]

The story rarely establishes itself as anything more than big budget fan fiction.
