Mar 11, 2019Although Fimbul has a great universe to explore and some fun gameplay elements, it still fails as a package. The gameplay is good but short, the story is not so appealing, combat is repetitive and the game suffers from tons of technical issues, and the only ones who will probably enjoy Fimbul are the hardcore fans of Scandinavian myths.

Feb 28, 2019There's a great deal to like about Fimbul, from its luxuriant vector inspired visuals to the solid combat and an interesting interpretation of Norse Mythology. Whilst the delivery of the plot in a comic book format disappoints, it is the failure of the frame rate that provides Fimbul's fatal and final blow. Without this issue being remedied, despite the many reasons I like the game, Fimbul is difficult to recommend.
