    Same old re-packaged. The game is heavily biased to Ultimate Team and pay to win microtransactions which I have absolutely no interest in. After playing the 10 hour trial It's safe to say I will not be buying this.

    Same game as FIFA 20 but worse. The goalkeepers can't make a save, defenders are invisible... And the best, it costs 70$... Volta lasts 1 hour and Ultimate Team remains to be the same pay to win. If you want to play a good game don't buy this game.

    FIFA 21 feels like a "demo" game with lots of bugs - the genius behind "no demo this time" should be fired. It's been almost a week since the official release and the game hasn't get better at all:
    - slow players are just for the number on the pitch... they're useless
    - if you play ultimate team - it's the same game as ever Pay2Win and scripted as phuck - in career mode on legendary    FIFA 21 feels like a "demo" game with lots of bugs - the genius behind "no demo this time" should be fired. It's been almost a week since the official release and the game hasn't get better at all:
    - slow players are just for the number on the pitch... they're useless
    - if you play ultimate team - it's the same game as ever Pay2Win and scripted as phuck
    - in career mode on legendary difficulty the AI use excesive skill moves (and when I say excessive, almost every step around your penalty area is a skill move, non required - needs just 2* skills for AI). Because of that it's rather difficult to take them on or anticipate anything... and every match has at least 9-10 goals: last 3 matches: 7-5 ; 4-4 and 5-4 (arcade game for sure). If I play lower difficulty(world class) then the scores are something like 12-0 ; 13-1 etc. - so, no fun either way
    If you didn't buy, just don't do it - play at a game center before buying - worst fifa ever.    … Expand

    What an absolute dog **** game. Refs are so bad at this game I'm just taking offside goals. How a 75 rated player can be better than a 90 rated player? Oh because he is a striker w 92 space and its done. The most Joke game ever

    Honestly just one of the worst fifa games in a while. There are bigger issues like blocking being overpowered and slow players essentially being useless. But there are also smaller issues that shouldn’t have gotten past play testing (if they even did any play tests).     Absolute dog poo. Scripted nonsense. Penalties given left right and centre, low cross is broken, division placement is unreal. Waste of money. Hoping they've put their efforts into the ps5 version. The only reason I won't ask for a refund

Any player with 90 dribbles is Messi in this game. When you pass you somehow smash the ball so hard it reaches the speed of light, but luckily your players will also reach the speed of light so you can catch up with the ball. Defending is horrible, while the player on the ball is nimble and quick, the defender is incredibly slow. Goalkeepers don't even know what sport they're playing, they are awful. Offside happensGameplay is horrible.     Um lixo, uma cagada completa esse jogo, não vale nem R$300,00, R$400,00 e muito menos R$500,00. A EA ta cagando e andando na qualidade dos jogos, acredito que na EA Sports não deve nem existir um setor de Qualidade. Enfim, uma bela bosta. NÂO COMPRE!!!

Also they have the champions and I can’t play against other player just against the machine so stupid. Defense are worse goal keepers terrible and passing no so good. Game play in FUT is a joke the play is unreliable when 50 pace bronze are out running 94 pace rare gold players. The only thing they did was update teams. It is more than obvious management at EA sports has become either lazy or so risk averse that they were fineI bought FIFA 21 thinking it would be better than FIFA 20 but its not. In fact some how they have managed to make it worse. Game play in FUT is a joke the play is unreliable when 50 pace bronze are out running 94 pace rare gold players. Half the modes are not working at the moment including the new Volta Squads but FUT is working fine as usual. As a pro clubs player , it would be nice to get into a drop in match or not have to search up to 10 times just to get a game.     You would seriously have to wonder has anyone in the EA development team watched a game of football before? A truly horrific experience. You only need to play against the AI to see the game has many exploits and broken mechanics. Defending is non existent and if anyone at EA reads this, not every foul is a yellow card. Playing games on legendary difficulty will just result in a game where the AI will abuse impossible dribbling techniques and pass the ball around the back for the whole game. Let's not even mention the shielding technique which makes it impossible to get to the ball. Honestly EA, just have done untold damage to your reputation these last few years and it won't ever come back. The worst game I have ever played, a player rating of 0.8 is too generous… Expand

    Game for fans who either need to work online at FUT every day, or instead want to try a modified career mode, which is starting to really look like Football Manager. Otherwise, it's a decent update for the full price. [Issue#307]

    The FIFA series desperately needs a fresh start. Right now, it relies mainly on the Ultimate Team mode and marketing, while going around in circles. Instead of leaping into the future, FIFA 21 takes half a step forward and two steps sideways in an attempt to differentiate itself from its predecessor well enough to rationalize spending money. If you already own FIFA 20 and are not addicted to Ultimate Team, you can sit this one out. [12/2020, p.44]
