    What a disappointment, again.. As always greed has taken over EA to invest most of their efforts into the money making UT... man I hate that gambling mode. They must be making an insane money with it, because the efforts in designing and improving other modes of this game are pathetic. They have gotten away for decades to charge us full game price for minimal upgrades, biggest scam inWhat a disappointment, again..     I was hoping that FIFA 21 would be the title to get me excited about next gen, about getting PS5 or new Xbox but it's far from. Its minimal, the story mode has been pretty much removed (yeah Volta is a cheap trick and a joke). The changes in Manager mode probably took a week for some junior designer to come up with. The menus are sad, boring and uninspiring, depressing almost. There is the excitement of soccer, the motion, the action and dynamic energy of players? So much missed opportunity. I am guessing and hoping its all due to little investment from EA in developing this game rather than skill of individuals working on the game. The game is a good replication of how football is experienced during this pandemic, there are some great moments of good football, buy overall its pretty lifeless and the energy is missing.    … Expand

    Horrible game I didn't think it could get any worse and I'm in division 1 in seasons and have a good record but dam its just the worst fifa game I've ever played

    I've never been a fifa fan but I enjoyed playing fifa 19 and 20. Unfortunatelly fifa 21 is much worse than older versions. A plenty of bugs, poor mechanic, terrible goalkeepers, overpowered shots. Those who said the game is the same as previous fifa are wrong. This one is much much worse!!     Every EA game should have an automatic "ZERO". Sports' games have became the absolute lowest tier of gaming genres, designed to milk the consumers to the fullest with their microtransactions by regurgitating the same product year after year.

    You would seriously have to wonder has anyone in the EA development team watched a game of football before? A truly horrific experience. You only need to play against the AI to see the game has many exploits and broken mechanics. I've never seen anything like it from a company who so blatantly release broken games year after year, and now they actively abuse their own haphazard design? Defending is non existent and if anyone at EA reads this, not every foul is a yellow card. Playing games on legendary difficulty will just result in a game where the AI will abuse impossible dribbling techniques and pass the ball around the back for the whole game. Let's not even mention the shielding technique which makes it impossible to get to the ball. Honestly EA, just have done untold damage to your reputation these last few years and it won't ever come back. The worst game I have ever played, a player rating of 0.8 is too generous… Expand

    Actually prefer the gameplay this year compared to Fifa 20 but this is without a doubt the worst release I've seen for a Fifa game. Half the modes are not working at the moment including the new Volta Squads but FUT is working fine as usual. As a pro clubs player , it would be nice to get into a drop in match or not have to search up to 10 times just to get a game.     Juego con muchos errores. Graficamente a mi parecer es inferior a los anteriores y en su jugabilidad defensas torpes. muy enfocado a lo árcade definitivamente no lo recomiendo

Coming from Fifa 20 it's safe to say that we are playing Fifa 20 with a little more AI difficulty and responsive dribbling. In essence this is a fix/patch of the bugs that plagued Fifa 20. In terms of customer service, this is to be considered pathetic. Fifa has so much potential, yet it seems the folks over there look like they have been on vacation for some time now...… Expand

    Same copy paste game, no effort whatsoever, they just updated the kits and transfers but nothing else was changed as usual, buy Fifa 17 for a cheaper price and update it yourself

Also they have the champions and I can’t play against other player just against the machine so stupid. Defense are worse goal keepers terrible and passing no so good.     Game for fans who either need to work online at FUT every day, or instead want to try a modified career mode, which is starting to really look like Football Manager. Otherwise, it's a decent update for the full price. [Issue#307]

    The FIFA series desperately needs a fresh start. Right now, it relies mainly on the Ultimate Team mode and marketing, while going around in circles. Instead of leaping into the future, FIFA 21 takes half a step forward and two steps sideways in an attempt to differentiate itself from its predecessor well enough to rationalize spending money. If you already own FIFA 20 and are not addicted to Ultimate Team, you can sit this one out. [12/2020, p.44]
