    Fifa 21 is absolutely garbage. The gameplay has somehow gotten worse. The graphics have barely changed. And the fact that they charge you 50$ for this is stupid.

    The packs in UT (from my experience) are pretty balanced luck-wise (especially compared to FIFA 18). The AI is not amazing, but it can be better based on the difficulty obviously. The gameplay besides that is pretty good. I was forced out of a match due to "connection issues" despite having no issues.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Par où commencer, déjà c'est clairement pas FIFA 20, c'est pire...
    FIFA 20 durant le mois d'octobre 2019 était vraiment bien calibré entre l'attaque et la défense il y avait un jeu bien réalisé et équilibré dans lequel on pouvait prendre du plaisir.... MAIS!

    Suite aux pleurnichards venant des anglais qui s'en sortaient pas, le jeu a subit une MaJ détruisant tout le gameplay mis en place dans le but de satisfaire les english wales (et ouais c'est l'argent qui drive le gameplay) du coup on a eu un jeu avec une vitesse de jeu augmentée, tellement que le GameEngine ne suit même pas, on peut le constater en regardant les animations des joueurs qui glissent sur le terrain, symptomatique que l'animation est trop longue par rapport à la vitesse du jeu, du coup l'animation est accélérée ou n'a pas le temps d'être jouée.

    Pourquoi tout ce bla-bla, tout simplement parce que FIFA 21 hérite de tout çà, ce n'est plus un jeu de football. Ça fait 3 années que c'est de pire en pire, le dernier jeu vraiment bien étant le 17. Avec cet opus le jeu est méga speed et full arcade (tu tires dos au but, t'inquiète le joueur va faire un 180° en calant une lucarne, ce n'est qu'un exemple parmi tant d'autres...). Le moteur de jeu gérant la physique est le même et commence à être à bout souffle, les joueurs patinent sur le terrain, font des dingueries avec la balle aimantée à leurs pieds... bref ils ont pas sorti de démo, on comprend mieux pourquoi. J'ai très peu d'espoir pour la version next gen, dev un nouveau moteur de jeu prend du temps (minimum 2 ans).
    Testez-le en EA access (c'est 4€ versus 50€), 10h c'est amplement suffisant pour se rendre compte de la nullité de cet opus.

    (perso j'ai annulé ma précommande direct, rdv FIFA 22 en espérant revoir un jeu de foot, l'année 2021 va être longue)    … Expand

    It's baffling how selling literal copy pasted games like FIFA is still legal in this day and age, not even mentioning the highly advertised gambling simulator Ultimate team is. I've heard so many stories of people ruining their lives falling into the Ultimate team addiction and you're telling me this is E for everyone?

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After a horrendous year for me with Fifa 20, which I did not enjoy at all, I wanted to try Fifa 21. I knew it would be bad and I didn't expect a good Fifa from EA but god this is awful. I had to double check that I wasn't playing Fifa 20 because its just the same. Goals everywhere. Just play the ball to some pacey trickster and he would do the job but he had to do it 5 times in one match because your opponent did the same. Put up a team with 90 pace at average and you are in div 2 with Rivals. You got a good and expensive team? Cute! Here comes Ea with another made up event which plummets the prices on the market. Boom! you bought Kevin de Bruyne for 300K? He is 130k now. How come that the community is not doing something to this franchise? Youtubers who are praising this game cant be taken seriously. E-sporters giving their lives for a game that doesnt truly reflect the worlds most beautiful game. Should I start about the lootbox system? Should I start about the easily given penalties? Should I start about the awfully slow menus? Did I say about the lootboxes? Scripting? The lootbox system? I cannot imagine EA being proud of this game. How did they work a year on this game? They are delivering a lazy product to their customers full of bugs.… Expand

    Well I mean it’s honestly just awful. Easily the worst gameplay I’ve ever experienced, just more garbage from EA $$$ making conveyor with scripted matches, buggy gameplay, and worst of all same old crashy EA servers. Tbh with all microtransactions this game should be free, yet you pay to get crappy experience to pay again to slightly lessen your pain.

    No serie b lacking so many serie a licences still havent fixed the league of ireland start dates 10 years on having the licence they tried to make the career mode better but only made it more tedious stick with fifa 20 such a shame as i expected a great fifa for the ps5,xbox series x

    This a pantomine horses arse. Dreadful, arcadey mess of a game that is even more unresponsive. Full of scripting as always and the only changes from 20 made it worse. Good game for a simpleton perhaps.

    The game is an unplayable mess. The ball physics are dire and it floats in the air like a balloon. But worst of all is the abysmal defending online. Offline you can switch back to legacy defending, but online forces you to user tactical defending which is broken and completely unenjoyable. Play PES, download the option file and play an enjoyable game of    Defending broken.

    So I wasted £90 on the Ultimate Edition because the changes I saw in videos were positive, I thought EA actually listened to the community and tried to change features, gameplay and made it better. Instead, they've somehow made it worse. FIFA 20 was the worst in the franchise, however I actually believe 21 is much much worse. I had Inaki Williams who has 90+ pace, but somehow Alderweireld with 60 pace caught up with him, pushed him off the ball, and lobbed a 50 yard pass over the top to Bale who smashes it in with his right foot from the edge of the box (Bale has 2 star weak foot).

    The only positive from this game is Career Mode. Many good changes which makes career mode enjoyable, from training your players separately, Simulating matches which allows you to watch without having to play, official licenses for the Champions League and Europa League. However, I don't think Career Mode is enough to spend a minimum of £60 on the game.

    Overall, don't buy this game. EA do the same every year. They will make one patch in a week or so, make the game even worse, then kill it off by introducing insane microtransactions and promote gambling non stop.    … Expand

    Gameplay is an actual joke, it's the same as FIFA 20. Servers are atrocious, Pro Clubs seems identical to FIFA 17, and the game is overall super buggy. FUT is promoting gambling, and I hope countries soon take action and outlaw these type of game modes. I am tired of EA's bs. I feel like giving the game a 0/10 is still too much. We need a better game.

    Same graphics, gameplay, and animations for the last 3 years. Numerous Glitches. Pro Clubs is still the same for the past 6 years, and somehow feels worse. This game is a disgrace to FIFA. DO NOT BUY!

    Es ist viel besser als Fifa 20.
    Der Volta Modus macht richtig Laune, bis zu
    4 Leute können gleichzeitig spielen... Es ist nicht perfekt aber es geht in die richtige Richtung und macht sogar mal wieder Spaß.

    EA once again provides a game that is tailor made for getting the player to pay more and get less. the game´s quality never improves, yet the price is rising. everything about the gameplay is designed to pander to the one who pays for fifa points. EA has made a game with real money gambling, horrible monitisation, and very little content for a higher price point than ever, for children.     I see people rating this 10/10 for being a "good football game as usual" or "not much different but still good" the absolute lack of developement and quality is getting good reviews because of people with no awareness or possible and addiction to the gambling withing.

    Game for fans who either need to work online at FUT every day, or instead want to try a modified career mode, which is starting to really look like Football Manager. Otherwise, it's a decent update for the full price. [Issue#307]

    The FIFA series desperately needs a fresh start. Right now, it relies mainly on the Ultimate Team mode and marketing, while going around in circles. Instead of leaping into the future, FIFA 21 takes half a step forward and two steps sideways in an attempt to differentiate itself from its predecessor well enough to rationalize spending money. If you already own FIFA 20 and are not addicted to Ultimate Team, you can sit this one out. [12/2020, p.44]
