    They still haven't got all the rules right after so many years, example: the offside.
    Minimal changes to this new game, it is actually absurd how they can sell the exact same game with minor updates for full retail price. EA puts all their effort into new aesthetics for ultimate team because that is what's making them money. And career mode you ask? All    Terrible as always...

    Este es el peor juego de FIFA a la fecha. Los tiros son pésimos los pases son pésimos totalmente irreal, con chilenas al por mayor y que además 8 de cada 10 terminan en gol. No cabe duda que la comunidad de jugadores de FIFA siempre es la más pisoteada de todas, pueden darles basura y aun así harían fila para comprarla.

    It is poor game in gameplay aspects. Really feel so bad the players moves like they are like a pool. It is not football soccer, it is just a game like mario kart games just for fun but not consider a good soccer game.

    19 years, the advancement from EA Sports Games '00 to '19 is embarrassing. Even modes like "franchise" or "gm" have actually reduced features in recent releases.

    EA is successful based on licensing rights and pay to play gimmicks like Ultimate Team (which can be addictive). EA is not successful because of game play, they are successful in spite of poor game play.

    After spending a lot of money and time building up my team in FUT 19, only to experience a lack of consistency from game to game in how my top rated players behave and react on the pitch, all I can do is hang my head in shame that I was suckered into buying another EA game.

    And it's not a lack of chemistry or fitness or lag. It's likely due to FUT handicapping or something like that which creates the inconsistent experience. Other posters have noted that when playing against the AI in more difficult modes the AI doesn't get smarter, the game makes your players worse, it decreases your players stats and ability.

    Simply put, games should be fun to play. EA Sports Games are not. I'll be exchanging FIFA 19 today for any game that is not developed by EA.    … Expand

    FIFA 19 is fine unless you play FUT. FUT is a scam and scould not be allowed to play because of the greed EA putting into this mode. The Journey was very bad this time and Career Mode feelt the same as 18 but added CL. Overall I regret buying this game.

    Simply the worst fifa of all I have ever played. Horrible online, absolutely bugged and automatic, it's not fun anymore, is only to annoy. Offline without any news. It's not worth spending a penny on this game.

    Do not believe the actual reviews from game companies. Sometimes I question if they're just paid to do so. I will give you my run down of both the pros and cons of the game.

    Pros: - Champions League was a nice addition adding to the authenticity of the game itself. - You can now train strength and sprint speed in Career Mode. - The Journey is always a nice addition to the game, but    Do not believe the actual reviews from game companies. Sometimes I question if they're just paid to do so. I will give you my run down of both the pros and cons of the game.

    Pros:
    - Champions League was a nice addition adding to the authenticity of the game itself.
    - You can now train strength and sprint speed in Career Mode.
    - The Journey is always a nice addition to the game, but it's a play once then never again kind of mode.
    - Stadium atmospheres.

    Cons:
    - The game largely remains the same as last year.
    - Ultimate Team has been again, the entire focus of this years FIFA.
    - Career Mode was basically untouched.
    - Pro Clubs was the same.
    - They've basically charged £50 for a reskin, roster updates and updated kits.
    - Gameplay is terrible this year, the shooting is just appalling. I'm unsure if this will be fixed in a later patch.
    - They promised us new things, like Survival Mode, a brand new commentary team (which was just on the CL) to replace the current. We got none of it, or part of the promises.
    - Player Career Mode is a disaster, even though by the Journey they've proved they can make it interesting.
    - You still cannot come on as even a sub on that game mode, but you can in the Journey.
    - Customization is the same.

    Overview:
    I'm disappointed again. Another year, same game. It's been the same since FIFA 12. I don't play Ultimate Team, I'm more of a Career Mode player. I wasted my money on this, again. EA don't care about you. I've realised that this year more than any other. The wishlists for Career Mode and Pro Clubs are huge, and FIFA are just sitting on a sleeping giant and they don't care. It feels like they just want CM to disappear when it was the mode that made FIFA what it is. So much potential, but they didn't change barely anything.

    It annoys me when I see this game get anything above a 5 from reviews because it really doesn't deserve it. If you really want to play the Journey or Career Mode this year, but do not want to support EA. Buy the game second hand.

    I used to love FIFA, I have now bought the game day one every year since 1998 pre-ordering. Now I'm just giving up.    … Expand

    it is actually amazing that an organization like Fifa which promote "Fair Play" allow its name to be associated with an organization known for its greedy and manipulative tactics regardless of the age of its customers. I guess their values are only used to decorate their executive office walls and have no place in the real world.
    Shame on you Fifa.
    Exposing children to gambling like microtransaction system is unforgivable and take greed to a completely new level. hope that the regulators take serious action against companies like EA.    … Expand

Playing against a more expensive team is like playing chess vs a player that has twice as many pieces as you and you only have one turn every round while the opponent has two.

    Fifa is basically a **** game! Gaming has been my passion since I was 7 years old, I am now 34 and I will recommend a few PC games that is online and competitive, these games will make Fifa feel like it crapped its own pants.

    Recommended: Dota 2, CS:GO, LOL. Basically any online competitive game is better than Fifa, Fifa is the worst competitive game to ever exist, I am even doubting myself calling it a competitive game, how can a competitive game be pay to win? Who would take Chess serious if one player had 5 extra pieces than the opponent?

There were no new additions to Career Mode yet you still broke it. There are no big new additions to Career Mode and    FIFA 19 is the worst game I have ever played. There is nothing in this game worth it's 55 pound valuation of it.

    Pro Clubs - Yet again another game mode that has been left out to dry. A game mode that has so much potential and is still **** No new additions, not even taking advantage of the new licensing. There's no love for this game mode anymore.

    The Journey - EA wasting resources on a game mode that no one plays and no one cares about. Instead of wasting their time on this **** they could be adding new features to Career Mode and Pro Clubs.

    Ultimate Team - Definitely the worst game mode of them all. This piece of **** prays on the loot box addicts to make their money. Rewards are stingy when it comes to objectives. The pack odds are now displayed and now you can seriously see how much you'll get ****ed over when you put your hard earned money into a 'video game'. I use video game in quotations because video games are supposed to be fun. This is as far from fun as you can get.

    Gameplay - The gameplay of this FIFA has somehow managed to get worse. The introduction of timed shooting adds nothing to the game. There is no skill when it comes to timing your second press of the shot button. The AI has managed to get worse from last FIFAs. The passing is abysmal, goal kicks are confusing and **** free kicks are worse from the last FIFA. The game forces you to play a certain way. Always attacking, no counter-attacking, no possession based football or anything. It's not fun in the slightest.

    I strongly encourage you not to buy this title or any future titles from EA. They are a terrible, scummy company with no morals and no respect for their consumers or developers. It's a shame since they have all the money and all of the big licenses, but they have shown no respect to the owners of those licenses.

Estuve jugando modo carrera, Alex Hunter y online y el maldito Handicap hace que este juego sea injugable y le quita toda la diversión, hay cosas absurdas que suceden en el juego como por ejemplo tu defensa deja pasar goles o tu delantera se pierde goles en la boca del arco o cuando quieres dar un pase filtrado a un jugador y este te la envía al compañero que esta mas marcado o lo mas chistoso que tienes una oportunidad de anotar y la defensa contraria de la nada se transforman en Sergio Ramos y Gerard Pique y no tejan pasar ninguna por mucho que lo intentes, la cosa es que si la maquina quiere que no ganes simplemente no ganaras sin importar si eres bueno o malo. Le di la oportunidad durante 3 meses pero ya no pienso pasar mas rabia con esta basura en mi próxima compra este juego se va en parte de pago y ya lo desintalé de mi Ps4. Este juego con mucha diferencia es el peor FIFA que he jugado desde el 2009 lo malo que ya no podré saber que pasa con Alex Hunter, bueno tendré que ver el final en You Tube.     It's only a DLC with features changes who nobody ask for. Graphics are poor yet, with no changes. I love 2vs2 cooperative mode. The last year EA removed cups and you can't see your thropies with no reason to remove it. The new licences looks like only a commercial strategy for taking advantage of Konami, but it doesn't for giving a better experience to its customers.

    I only say one thing to the people who are really open to talk about the difference in good and bad in each game. PES and FIFA. This used to be a war. We all here, lived it. Through the trenches of god forsaken PES lobby and FIFA bad match making.     Career Mode remains shallow with no stats tracking, big teams still inexplicably field weakened sides against you, players decline after 30+ age too fast (your own cover star is 33, and by this logic from 3 years ago, he would be lucky to retain an 80+ rating!), youth players come out of the academy with no stamina, several key countries missing from scouting options (Wales can’t be scouted, even though their national team is in the game, along with all other home nations which can be scouted! How lazy can you get?!), according to your scout reports, over half of all Asian players are European-looking, and several key African countries return a majority of white players while France produces Asian players? Who tests this game before release?! Top teams still drop off during the seasons and struggle to sustain form, making winning things far too easy, still no option to customize your own manager avatar, instead being offered the exact same pre-set avatars as last year, top leagues still rarely seeing any player score much more than 20 goals in a season, stamina training nerfed so every new player in the game has no stamina and very little improvement over their career, still just a 15 season limit, still no interaction with your team or meaningful interactions with the press or the board or fans, top clubs failing to sign players into new contracts far too often for the game to remain immersive, the whole game world just static, with no rare occasion of a small non-player controlled club rising divisions and becoming a surprising force, every CPU team playing like they want to be Barca, with no teams operating a long ball tactic or anything other than pinging passes around at unrealistic pace in a manner not possible for the human player, the laziest AI programming, making the game more difficult not by programming the AI to be clever and work out ways past you that feel realistic but by increasingly the stats of even the weakest teams to play like a team of Messis and Ronaldos, scoring unrealistic goals while your team inexplicably turns to jelly, no option of a loan to buy, 90% transfer and loan talks break down, the list just goes on and on while EA sit on FUT and screech ignorance at fans who love the game and just want to see it subjected to some actual care and effort to make it worthwhile buying year in, year out.     This year is the first year I've bought Pro Evo instead of FIFA since the ps2 days. Pro Evo feels so much better than FIFA that it'll take hard work from EA to win me back. Unless they improve I won't buy FIFA again.

The gameplay is a nightmare, Automatic defending should not exist, the button delay is ridiculous, if there was one game that made me quit buying the FIFA series, it's this game.     This game is a mess in so many ways, and I really tried to like it and be as objective as possible, I buy FIFA every year on my Xbox 360 before and now on my PS4, but this one is horrible.
    ONLY some of the problems:
    1) Gameplay is the worst. It's very unrealistic, unresponsive, lags, messed up.

    2) Ultimate Team: So much lag when playing online or on the transfer market buying players/things it's unbelievable. And it's not my connection problem, I play Call of Duty or other games with no issues online.
    In Ultimate Team, there a thing called "Input Lag", you press a button and your player doesn't do anything for 1.5 or 3 seconds, only AFTER 1.5-3 seconds your player does what you wanted.

    3) So unrealistic. Player stats are all messed up. You can take any random defender or player such as Masiello for example and he will run as fast as Cristiano Ronaldo! and then push him using physique and steal the ball.

    4) Online. A disaster! When connecting I have 5 green bars for maximum latency, but as soon as the game starts it's unbelievable lag.

    5) Often players just freeze as if the game froze, and something weird happens: Like the ball hits the bar, bounces upin the sky, comes back down to hit the bar, then sky again, comes back down to hit my goalkeeper in the head and go into the goal.

    ANYWAY there is just sooo many issues, that make this game simply unplayable, a complete disaster and embarrassment if compared to FIFA 18 or other. The game is just not fun anymore.    … Expand

    This game has the potential to be fantastic.
    Graphics and its attention to detail is fantastic, hense why i have given it a 1. But sadly thats where it ends.

    . Tackling- better than 18, imo... but still leaves alot to be desired. I tend to find half the time my player will make the tackle and the ball will just end up at the feet of an opponent... this isnt desirable when your defending. Or you will just foul either or

    . The icon above the players to switch players is terrible,most times it will go to a player behind the person with the ball, useless. Or the other direction that your player is running away from the player with the ball

    . The fact your players are horribly slow at reacting and just turning,they have the turning circle of a bus

    . Your defenders cannot catch their attackers, but somehow their defenders are like the flash, and catch your attackers racing towards goal

    . Heading is terrible, most of the time, you dont get anywhere, even in a defending situation

    . Pretty much just the double standards, you will foul, and you will get carded. They will do the same thing, and nothing

    . They will kick the ball with ease, from one side of the pitch to the other. But you have no chance of doing the same thing

    Sometimes you will pull off the perfect pass, to a player in some space. Other times you will pass straight to an opponent

    . Passes tend to always go to the wrong player, you have one player running into space, and another covered with defenders, but you will pass to the one with defenders everywhere

    In short, do not buy this game.... you will get so fustrated you will smash more controllers than you wish lol    … Expand

    In LootCrate19 you can play as your favorite Ronaldo as you have the past five years running. The only major change you'll have to endure is the color of his jersey. EA is pretty much the worst, will never buy another game from them.

Do not buy this game and forbid any of your children buying it to. that 60-100 dollar price tag will become a thousand or 2 by influencing you and your kids to give them more money for a slight chance of getting better players by spinning a slot machine.

    Thanks EA for making my decision very easy. Will NEVER again buy FIFA. :) I have been playing every single one of them since FIFA 97. I have never been this disappointed in a game. Seriously I remember loving FIFA 15 and 16 but this is just outrageous. No consistency in passing or shooting and AI defends better than human 99,9% of the time. Well done EA for f****ng everything up.

    The worst FIFA I've played since FIFA 2000. The ball is lost very easy, the way of playing is very complex. It's a game that is supposed to be for fun, but no, it's just the opposite. It's frustrating. If I could return it and get my money back, I would gladly do it. In my case, it's the last FIFA I play and buy.

Champions League license has gone wasted - everything in the Champions League mode looks pathetic and underwhelming. Disappointed by how EA still only focuses on FUT - the number of cards being released since launch of the game is just ridiculously high and totally disgusted by it. It is very likely that you will be up against a team that is full of POTM, SBC, legends, flashbacks, swap items (seriously?? flashbacks?? swap items??) etc etc on FUT. FUT is simply not a mode about skills but a mode you pay to win. I can only say EA is EXTREMELY CREATIVE when it comes to milking players' money. Online mode feels really inconsistent (here comes the old scripting/momentum issue) - with the same team of players, sometimes they all play like Messi and Ronaldo, another day they might be as sluggish as an oil tanker (sorry oil tankers). I doubt FIFA would impress any player at all and the critics ratings are just a joke. 100% would not recommend anyone buying this game, even if it's on sale. Really hope EA can improve things for FIFA 20 but I doubt that would be the case… Expand

I have finally gone back to PES this year as it feels like an actual game of football and not track and field, but the main reason I moved was one reason - Ultimate Team.     FIFA 19 é o pior fifa de todos!!!!!! ridiculo a gameplay, FIFA 19 é o FIFA 17 com campions league e cr7 na capa. EA sports só teve o trabalho de mudar as cores e o menu e ainda colocou aquela merda de battle royale. VERGONHOSO ESSE JOGO

    Worst FIFA ever!. This game(play) is so scripted It is nausea inducing. Ea has since introduced Frostbite not developed (110% stalemate). The way they treat Career mode is degrading to all users. Do yourself a favor and avoid the game, it has nothing to do with football. EA a company that obviously only thinks of profit, and as long as we buy it, they do not change.

    I play Fifa regularly since Fifa 12 and I can say without a doubt that this is the WORST game of the franchise. Lousy controls, horrible gameplay. Every game seems like a bad match between 2 bad teams. I'm really sad to see how EA has ruined my best PS4 franchise. So sad.

    Luckily I bought this poor representation of a soccer game half off on a sale, though to be honest this game is no more than a dlc for FIFA 18 and the champions league or Europa league does not justify the 60 dollar price tag nor does it deserve to be called a standalone game. The journey was completely boring after even the first few cut scenes. The AI is garbage, even the fastest player in the game can't pass the op AF defenders who no matter what catch up to you. The "new" shooting system is stupid and I still can't figure out when you get that weird bar and no matter what you still miss. Corners and free kicks are still op and the goalkeepers no matter who it is, is still garbage. The people who say this is the best game made by ea is the biggest and the most blind EA d**k rider ever, obviously those people haven't played the likes of FIFA 12 or 07 and many other FIFAs where there actually was content.… Expand

    Champions League is here and with it, the system of first touch and contact with balls, which works great. All around, it's the best football simulation at the market.

    Great new modes, some minor changes making the game even more enjoyable, tons of licenses (Champions League!), spectacular presentation and the richest, most varied story mode yet make FIFA 19 an excellent entry in the series. [12/2018, p.62]

    With initial excitement having died down a few months after the game's release, FIFA 19 stands exposed for what it is: another recycled iteration of a franchise that sorely needs refreshing. Both off the pitch and on it, FIFA 19 is a hollow experience, yet another broken promise and a slap in the face of what we have come to expect from good game development. To truly compete in the gaming arena, FIFA must lace its boots and pull up its socks if it is to achieve what it too lazily sets out to each year.
