    I just finished Far Cry 5 and wow ! This game is amazing and exceeded my expectations who were average after my experience with Far Cry 4 a few years ago. I did a 42 hours playthrough with most of the side content completed. Actually, the sandbox elements are really well done and don't feel like chores (I know Ubisoft has a bad reputation for that...). The open world is organic and fun toI just finished Far Cry 5 and wow ! This game is amazing and exceeded my expectations who were average after my experience with Far Cry 4 a few years ago. I did a 42 hours playthrough with most of the side content completed. Actually, the sandbox elements are really well done and don't feel like chores (I know Ubisoft has a bad reputation for that...). The open world is organic and fun to navigate into. I feel also that this game has a solid identity and a really unique story (weird, funny, deep and « over the top ». This is the type of game that will leave you some memories afterwards. The soundtrack is way better than average and the graphics are solid (I played at 60FPS on my PS5). The game still has minor glitches but nothing major IMO. This game is really underrated and deserves certainly more praise and attention. I found it better than Days Gone who was really good also. The game is not perfect tough...By moments, it can become pretty chaotic and apparently, the AI is not that good. It can be challenging also if you want to play clean and stealthy.     Muy bien juego sinceramente, esperaba mucho menos por otras críticas no tan buenas, pero me sorprendió, la jugabilidad es buena al igual que el Gameplay, los gráficos son buenos y el antagonista cumple muy bien su función y es muy buena temática eso de una secta religiosa. Lo malo es que es medianamente corto, depende tu modo de juego, si te enfocas en las misiones de la historia y no enMuy bien juego sinceramente, esperaba mucho menos por otras críticas no tan buenas, pero me sorprendió, la jugabilidad es buena al igual que el Gameplay, los gráficos son buenos y el antagonista cumple muy bien su función y es muy buena temática eso de una secta religiosa.     A solid 7.8 Very nice FPS single player. Just doesnt offer anything different from the other Far Cry games.
    The Story and atmosphere are amazing and the villains as always brilliant, theyre always the peak of the franchise.
    Also very good and immersive, beautiful open world and music, but like I said, nothing much different from 3 and 4.

    Gráficos muito bonitos, trilha sonora é de longe a melhor da franquia, vilão marcante, só peca em questão do protagonista, que não diz uma sequer palavra durante toda a campanha, fora isso, minha experiência com o jogo foi maravilhosa.

    This game has got to be the best Ubisoft game ever! The story is so cool, I really loved the characters and the pets…But the missions, they are awesome! I had so much fun beating this game and I don’t think I even got bored a second…Must play from me!

    Better than Far Cry New Dawn and Far Cry 6. (haven't played any FC games before 5)
    I normally don't play games after defeating them, but I've gone back several times using New Game+.
    I even go back from time to time and play 'Outpost Master' to clear them again. A wonderful, immersive open-world game in rural Montana with such an American flavor. (oh... and the music is ridiculously    Better than Far Cry New Dawn and Far Cry 6. (haven't played any FC games before 5)

    Very good open world, a lot of good mechanics, great side chararacters ( like pastor Jerome), good side missions, gameplay is just 10/10 but the story and ending is like 7/10, and protagonists are just good. One of the best ubi game of all time

    Far Cry 5, I finished the game. It is very nicely done, the graphics are good, the story is not bad, in any case, it is interesting to play and I would definitely recommend it!

    This game is great. The cooperative factor to the game allows for great fun as I did indeed play through the game a total of 3 times. The first time was with a friend but the buddy system in the game does not make you feel lonely.

Es una historia contada de una manera distinta e innovadora, un mundo abierto en el cual vas avanzando según vas consiguiendo puntos realizando otras tareas para poder pasarte las misiones principales. Algo que no me gusto pero es    Far Cry 5, otro juego éxito de Ubisoft.

    Mi primer Far Cry aunque también juegue al 3 pero lo acabe dejando, este me parece una gran experiencia que probar. Es una historia contada de una manera distinta e innovadora, un mundo abierto en el cual vas avanzando según vas consiguiendo puntos realizando otras tareas para poder pasarte las misiones principales.

    Algo que no me gusto pero es posible que a otros jugadores les encante es que según avanzas por el mapa tienes que ir esquivando enemigos/eliminándolos, con lo cual no puedes ir tranquilo por el mundo abierto sin que te empiecen a molestar.

    En resumen: Historia muy buena, libertad de avanzar cuando quieras haciendo lo que quieras y en el orden que quieras, gráficos tremendos, buena jugabilidad.

    9/10 Tienes que jugarlo SI o SI sobre todo si eres fan de "Far Cry"    … Expand

    i have played both farcry 3&4 and I enjoyed 5 much more. the setting recreation in the dunia engine was superb, all the gun and car models were highly detailed and the soundtrack was absolutely fantastic in general the overall sound design was top notch. it lacked a bit in its storytelling also it wasn't as grotesque and gory as i would've liked it to be.     This is truly the last great Far Cry experience since Far Cry 6. I love this game so much that I bought all the rest of the far cries and played them with love. It was the way the story was depicted that made me care so much. The fact that I am a new sheriff trying to take back a town that was taken over bunch of crazy psychopath was more than enough of a reason for me to get sucked intoThis is truly the last great Far Cry experience since Far Cry 6.     I am a big fan of the Far Cry series and i have to say Far Cry 5 is the very best. Absolutely beautiful scenery, hilarious and intense dialogue between the characters, smooth mechanics, superb story, wonderfully gameplay. I never had so much enjoyment and satisfaction in one game. Forget Far Cry 6 big disappointment just reply this one.

This game resembles 2 in spirit and is really fun to play. Even the vehicles feel pretty good but the world looks great and I love the setting.

    The story is nothing special but the cutscenes are all produced well and some of the characters are cool. It's alright and gives you a reason to push forward. I like how this game is a little more tightly focused. It's witout all the extra crap littering the map with boring repetitive things to do like in the 3 and 4 and basically every ubisoft game from the past ten years, LOL. Otherwise, it's vintage Far Cry action offering you a variety of ways to take out foes by going stealth or frontal assault and everything in between. I like flying a plane overhead and then jumping out and gliding down to a nice safe roof top to survey the field. Or you can just ride in guns blaizing and blow up everything in your path. Either way, you'll be having fun, and that's the whole point.

    Off course the game still has microtransactions which is annoying but looks like they toned it down a bit and there absolutely no reason to spend extra money in the game. You can find everything you need in the game world.

    A solid return to form for Far Cry and a really good open world shooter with a few small issues in the way. I am pleasantly surprised by this one and since I got it for free on Plus, I'm super happy I didn't spend a dime on it.    … Expand

    I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but I enjoyed this episode more than the previous one (the fourth). The story is well done. The characters are well written and interesting.

    The gameplay style is more or less the same, except the driving model has reverted back to the L2 and R2 control system, which I'm very happy about. The variety of weapons is also great, but honestly you get by during the whole pass with one sniper rifle, a scorpion and an AK (All with silencer of course) + I must not forget the rocket launcher.

    The American countryside environment charmed me, although I wondered why someone doesn't just get in a helicopter and fly to the nearest town for help ? Out of the whole story I have to single out the tragic story of Faith and I was further surprised by the way Jacob Seed brainwashes you (not your character, but you), since I don't want to write spoilers I won't elaborate more.

    The side missions each have their own mini story, it's not just go in and kill so and so, or kidnap so and so and save so many people. It's always underpinned by a mini story.

    I was a bit disappointed that I would have to play Arcade mode to complete the game for the platinum trophy. So I gave up on getting the platinum trophy.

    It's one of my most love games I think if you haven't at hand ,,Hustle" o PC with ,,Pornohub" you can really masturbate to this game! You can take Aesthetic orgasm maybe. I don't no I think the game is a really wonderful! But donate.....is.......really unnecessary. I think Ubisoft do the very, veeeery good game!

    If you like far cry, buy it. The reason i'm giving it a eight is because they skipped the protagonist part, but the villans are fine. Overal its just a good old far cry game.

    I personally love this game, great world great gameplay mechanics sure some people are tired of the open world ubisoft formula I for one love causing mayhem and liberating enemy outposts and alot of the story missions were really well done aswell.

    O melhor Far Cry, tem a melhor gameplay da franquia e gráficos lindíssimos. Suas expansões são muito boas e o modo Arcade fornece um fator replay maravilhoso e muito divertido. Jogar em co-op com algum amigo também é muito divertido.

    Last far cry games are very much same same, but different. I really like how they introduced campaign coop in FC5 and that should be worth a 9. I've bought and played them all and they always deliver but never really surprises you. DLCs very ok except for the vietnam one who were really cool. Solid buy if you are a fan of the franchise. Great to play online with a friend.

    Pros; Es entretenido, se ve muy bien, las armas se sienten bien, los personajes son muy repetitivos pero tienen carisma.

    Contras; Pasan demasiadas cosas al rededor mientras no controlas la zona, prácticamente no puedes dar la vuelta sin encontrar a alguien que necesita ayuda.

    This game was fun. There's a lot to this game and story. Vibrant, brutal and psychological. Something that has always been prevalent in Far Cry, but its in a setting with a place and group of people I can relate to.

    So my ratings for it is simple. 10/10 CULL THE HERD.

    Fairly interesting story but I don't like how you progress because you have to do random missions around each part and then they just randomly catch you. The ending wasn't very satisfying either.
    Gameplay is fun, it could get boring after some time but as far as you don't overplay it's okay.

But once I did, I was pleasantly surprised. There's a lot of "fluff" in this game that is annoying, i.e. clunky A.I., bad driving mechanics, constant bombardment of enemies on main roads. But if you are able to adjust to those things andThis game took me a while to get into. I played for a couple hours here and there for a few weeks before I actually was motivated to fully dive into it. But once I did, I was pleasantly surprised. There's a lot of "fluff" in this game that is annoying, i.e. clunky A.I., bad driving mechanics, constant bombardment of enemies on main roads. But if you are able to adjust to those things and play accordingly, there is certainly a great experience waiting in the balance. If you are someone who cannot look past those things, this game will not be for you. Normally that would be me, but for some reason I gave FC5 the benefit of the doubt, and to be honest I was able to find that underneath all of its shortcomings, there's a beautiful open world to explore for hours and several interesting characters and tidbits to find along the way.

А за деньги можно приобретать все, что угодно (оружие, модификации к оружию, одежда, автомобиль, самолет и тд) - это одна из причин, почему хочется проходить все больше и больше заданий. Если говорить о донате с "экономией времени", как это любят Ubisoft - тут конечно такое присутствует в виде "серебряных слитков", однако все предметы покупаются легко без доната.

    Мультиплеер:
    Основным преимуществом Far Cry 5 стала возможность проходить игру в компании с другом. Подобная возможность была еще в FC4, но там мультиплеер был сильно ограничен. Если говорить кратко, то игра становится намного интереснее при игре с другом.

    Звук/Саундтрек:
    Большое разнообразие музыкальных композиций самых разных жанров — жуткие сцены становятся еще более пугающими, а во время веселых миссий включаются задорные треки. К локализации тоже трудно придраться.

    Итог:

    Gorgeous game. A bright HDR screen will really make a difference. It feels like Far Cry mixed with a bit of Bioshock Infinite. Controls aren't quite as snappy as COD but once you play a few hours you'll feel right at home. Storyline is just ok but the characters and sound all are done nicely. Plenty of ways to get lost in this beautiful world.

    I wasn't enjoying it very much, at first. Then I realised I was playing a masterpiece. Very good graphic for a standard PS4. Seed family is very charismatic and I love this kind of villain. I don't give a 9/10 because, as I said, until the plot starts its hot part is almost boring

    very very bad compared to GR Wild Lands. so glitchy and can't be saved by developers no matter what they do or add. Not recommended at all and if you think you can live the same experience of Wild Lands then you're wrong.

Where the game falters is when it forces the player into completing story missions once you do enough side stuff. Its not a bad mechanic but it is really quite annoying when you get sucked into a story mission when you're just trying to explore. The story is alright and although Joseph Seed is a good antagonist, he's nowhere near Vaas or Pagan Min. Its a fun game, but the Far Cry formula is getting a little stale. 77/100… Expand

    The main story line has four protagonists for you to deal with and each provide a varied amount of missions for you to get your teeth into.     The main story line has four protagonists for you to deal with and each provide a varied amount of missions for you to get your teeth into. While completing missions you will be intermittently sort out and drugged so you can meet one of the main baddie characters and complete unique missions.

    This happens several times with each of the three protagonists who control a specific area and does slightly affect the continuity of the game play and to some people may seem like an annoyance. As you take over various buildings and settlements you will get warning the enemy is looking for you.

    There are as always lots of weapons to get to grips with to help deal with the worlds foes and you also get to drive and fly around in a range of vehicles. I particularly liked how the helicopters functioned and you also get to drive around in a special truck which is obtained during a mission.

    Overall I thoroughly enjoy playing Far Cry 5 though i do think the final mission is particularly difficult and it took me several tries to complete which may annoy some people also. This for me tarnished the game slightly hence the 9 out of 10.    … Expand

    Good game. Not the best in series. But wild America is fun to explore and they make you to look at world and not map this time :) Characters is interesting enough so you kinda care till end. Ending is bad tho...Really all this work for thsi ending is a bit disappointing, but its not ruining the fun you had on the way.

    I liked the game very much, the plot is not very interesting, but the gameplay and visuals of the game are very beautiful, the game did not lag. One minus game is a plot, very unil. I finished this game almost completely. my rating is 9/10 minus the plot. (litter for mistakes) :(

    Definitely the most refined mechanic in the far cry franchise. Probably some will rank lower for the recycle of some classic formulas, but this one is rather "definitive".

    Потрясающее очень круто поставленные катсцены, особенно с семьей Сидов:

    Главный герой, это п*здец, вот по-другому это не назовёшь. Это не какая-то личность,с внутренними переживаниями, проблемами, нет это просто манекен которым вы управляете и выполняете миссии, сама идея немого гг, это просто верх идиотизма. Ему что-то говорят, он как долб*еб молчит, его пытают, он молчит, происходит какой-то нереальный экшн, куча взрывов и беспредела? Он бл*ть молчит. Представьте если бы Джейсон Броди всю игру молчал, да половину впечатлений от третьего фар краю бы напрочь исчезли. Как и тут было бы в два раза больше впечатлений если бы он проявлял хоть какие-то эмоции, и не был пластиковой куклой.

    Само построение сюжета здесь тоже хромает. 99% квестов, ты просто п*здишь с таким же манекеном, и идёшь на миссию. В очень редких случаях это какая-то катсцена, а если это и она то мое почтение, еще раз повторюсь, они великолепные. На этом всё. Из игры мог получится настоящий шедевр который дал бы за щёку всем фар краям вместе взятым, (да-да включая третий) Но получилось просто достойная игра.    … Expand

    I really enjoyed this game, and fell in love with its outstanding location "Hope County". The story is pretty good and the game from start to end is real fun. In some cases it can get annoying when you're trying to get to a quest giver but the dozens of enemies start shooting at you because you tried to rescue a hostage.     Thoroughly enjoyable, feels somewhat safe and not a massive deviation from the established FC formula, but the addictive and responsive gameplay, vastly open world, beautiful graphics and lush atmosphere make this a delight to play.

I am 42 years old and what I am passionate about games is history. It may have bad graphics but if it has a good story it got me hooked. I am very demanding when it comes to playing a game. But I have to admit that I really liked this story. That of having several missions outside the main one was the most that I liked. Implementing animal bodyguards that was the best part of the game. The dog, the bear and the cougar I really love ...Also did not know that it was compatible with RGB sync. When I see all the lights start to turn the colors of the American flag. I mean the lights are changing depends on how the game unfolds, when you die I like that kind of games and with these effects they ate it. I recommend this game to those who like first person shooting. It has a good story that there are even parts where messages reach the player directly. It is my humble opinion. Excellent game I hope you continue the story. Somehow. We want more.....… Expand

    The graphics are easily the best in the series, and you can run this game with high settings on a potato. The environment is great too, it feels like you are actually in montana. Best FC games ever. Love it

I completed it and found it to be fun but nothing outstanding. due to the global pandemic of 2020, I was stuck at home and decided to get out my ps4 and insert the disc. to my surprise, I was actually surprised at how much I still enjoy it, with the non-linear way missions are presented and the great environments, its like playing it for the first time. when looking back on the recent games that have been released, whether you hate them or not there is one factor that is missing from a lot of them, fun. its fun to explore, fight and hunt and its great how the game lets you just have fun with the world around you. while it may not be as good as the previous far cry games, with enemy outposts feeling a little underwhelming this time around, I recommend this to any open world enthusiast. (also the soundtrack is amazing)… Expand

    Many people blame Ubisoft in creating very similar open worlds. Mostly they are right. But in case of Far Cry 5 generic Ubisoft's open world appeared to be great. Even some NPCs were very alive. Side quests are not as generic as they could be. Not Witcher 3 level but still worth to play.

    This fresh take on the Far Cry franchise is clearly visible content-wise, but a tad more discrete on the style. If you're not bothered by the slightly repetitive formula, you'll enjoy the many strengths of this episode.

    Far Cry 5 established itself as one of the best in the series, The game features some gorgeous scenery, an engaging story and the overall story is great fun and the theme is very realistic. The game mixes up the missions so it doesn't get repetitive halfway through the game. Far Cry 5 is a great entry to the series for newbies and veterans alike.
