    loved far cry 3 and 4, not sure why bit this game lost my interest very quickly, the story seemed good but it became very overwhelming very quickly and I couldnt be bothered to go beyond about 8 hours gameplay. glad I bought it for £10

    The most stupid story ever!!! Wanted to skip every time I had to listen to that stupid dialogues. The rest is quite good but in comparison to Division, it's bad.

    Beautiful open world environment and enemy theme but gunplay is close to being terrible with often poor hit detection and general gameplay is and always was full of glitches and bugs. With better gunplay and less choppy delay in controls it could have been good.

    This was the game I was most excited for in 2018. So I was incredibly disappointed when it finally released. The silent protagonist ruined the immersion and the new approach to story telling meant the story was told pretty terribly aswell. The gameplay was OK but too many enemy vehicles driving around.     Not recomended, i havent finnished because i dont want to. Good graphics tho dosent make a game better, same as always with ubisoft i wish they learn.

    ok... so you start with a nearly one hour film (no skipable)... why ?? it's should be a game, we should be able to play it if we want.... It's like if you wanted to watch the Last of us series... but YOU HAVE to play one hour of the game before...and then, it's feels like a much much lesser good version of Tom Clancy's Wildland. I liked some of the exploration... but some times, you'reok... so you start with a nearly one hour film (no skipable)... why ?? it's should be a game, we should be able to play it if we want.... It's like if you wanted to watch the Last of us series... but YOU HAVE to play one hour of the game before...and then, it's feels like a much much lesser good version of Tom Clancy's Wildland. I liked some of the exploration... but some times, you're parachute in a world where you HAVE TO do some challenges (yes, it's changes the pace... but, again, not skippable, and very often the same challenges (escape a house in fire...)). It's not an entertaining game. There are so much bugs (enemies you killed come back when you look the other way around, or animals you just killed disappear because you looked, for an instant, in another direction...… Expand

    There is little difference between the voice lines of npcs which are part of the cult, and real life Christianity, lines which only refer to harmless things like loving God. This game is basically a church shooter sim, and others say it’s repetitive at its core.

    Loved 3. Liked 4, but forgot it entirely. 5 is the worst in that trilogy. You're thrust into the role of a nameless, faceless, voiceless US Marshall attempting to stop a doomsday cult. That's about as much backstory as you get. After the opening scene, you're then dropped into this comically redneck world that contrasts with the tone of the main story too much. After the opening scene, you're then dropped into this comically redneck world that contrasts with the tone of the main story too much. After accepting that this game has nothing smart or interesting to say, then you experience all of the technical faults this game has. You'll be exploring, maybe rappelling up a cliff to grab a prepper stash, only for a horde of cultist which you previously cleared to respawn randomly and down your companion, forcing you to abandon what you were doing to help. Same could be said of when you're fishing have to abandon a fish mid hook to deal with cultist that have spawned in the area and are now shooting you. Ruins the flow of the game. Other times, you'll clip into walls, steel beams, cliffs, etc, forcing you to do a hard reset. The driving is a shade above awful and you literally have 2 radio stations to help you ignore how bad the driving is. The gunplay is terrible. 3 and 4 felt snappy and precise enough to make it exciting. Gunplay in 5 is goopy, drifty and just full of awful recoil. The world of Montana is very pretty, but honestly pales in comparison to an Island paradise (3) or the Himalayan mountains (4).

This game is my first one into the franchise, and I really hoped, after bearing all the harassing in-game environment and the naive bad guy mumble jumble, to be able to kill the antagonist in the final boss fight, but surprise surprise, the game resorted such a borderline sociopathic ending like a gigantic feces-soaked middle finger rubbing my face. I'm not someone who only appreciate happy ending, I like well plotted very bad endings too, but this, this is far beyond disgusting. I will never even touch this franchise ever again.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Far cry 5 is a game that takes a great idea for a story but manages to turn it into a Ubisoft game. What do I mean by a Ubisoft game? I mean a generic boring game that crashes every single time I fast travel. I played this game at launch, and about two weeks ago, all the way through both times. While it looks fine and plays fine, it takes a potentially interesting story with a idea and made it boring. Somehow managing to turn a cult in the U.S.A into something dull. The actor playing "The Father" is clearly talented and doing a great job, but his character is easily predictable, as he justifies everything he does with "God said to do it" which gets old really quick. The three sub bosses are a little better, but they're just three mentally ill people who have a place to hurt people which is as far as they go. The allied characters are all just one note bit parts like the sniper lady is from a military, or the preacher just an unhinged preacher. In that it remains dull. Having the character you play as not speak, or even have a real name, can work in some games, but here it just feel lazy. The side missions are a little better but not by much. They just allow for a little more fun. Overall if you have ever played a Ubisoft game since Far Cry 3, you've played this game. Yet some how it's worse then a game that came out 6 years before it. In addition, this game is laden with microtransactions and it is important to remember that Ubisoft not only defended employees who committed sexual assault on female employees, but also allowed said abusers "resign" with a very large sum of money and no legal action placed.… Expand

Die Welt ist wieder nach der bekannten Ubisoft Formel gemacht, tausende belanglose, schlecht geschriebene und langweilige Nebenmissionen und viel zu viele Gegner auf der Karte, natürlich gibt es auch wieder die Türme, die man machen muss um die Karte weiterEigentlich bin ich ein riesiger Far Cry Fan, aber was Ubisoft nach dem 3.     Meiner Meinung nach lohnt es sich einfach vorne und hinten nicht dieses Spie kau kaufen, ich hoffe einfach mal das sich Ubisoft bei Far Cry 6 auf die Anfänge zurück besinnt und wieder ein Spiel raus bringt, das mit den ersten 3 Teilen mithalten kann.

    There is basically no storyline, and when there is it's reaaaally bad. Like introducing magic/psychic BS bad (Faith's region) or teleporting you without sense to enemy base just to make a cut-scene (all regions). The game makes everything painstakingly repetitive, so it loses it's freshness and it becomes a grind to get resistance points very quickly.

    gioco pessimo ,ma il più grande errore è stato la mancanza del doppiaggio italiano, trovo vergognoso da parte di ogni casa produttrice di videogiochi che nel 2021/2022 non implementare il doppiaggio italiano considerando anche che il mercato italiano è uno dei più grandi in europa e nel mondo, su progetti che vengono a costare milioni non doppiare significa insultare un mercato che tigioco pessimo ,ma il più grande errore è stato la mancanza del doppiaggio italiano, trovo vergognoso da parte di ogni casa produttrice di videogiochi che nel 2021/2022 non implementare il doppiaggio italiano considerando anche che il mercato italiano è uno dei più grandi in europa e nel mondo, su progetti che vengono a costare milioni non doppiare significa insultare un mercato che ti supporta ma che adesso non lo farà più ,perchè in italia qualsiasi persona che ha aquistato far cry 6 dice che non comprerà il seguito senza doppiaggio ,basta vedere anche le altre critiche su questo sito… Expand

The gameplay is repetetive and doesn't do anything to set itself apart from other games of the genre or from previous entries. The visuals aren't bad but I experinced visual bugs and missing textures. AI is as dumb as a bag of nails. The characters are a hit or miss, in my opinion, the only good antagonist is John and the rest have no depth to them, Jacob is a dumb soldier, Faith is a manipulative hippie basicly and Joseph is your stereotypycal zealot with Charles Manson vibes. As for the main character and everyone around you, they're forgettable and have nothing to add to the story. And my god the story....... What can I say it's a trainwreck from start to finnish. It gets interupted everytime you reach a milestone in RP or resistance points by you getting kidnapped and you not being able to prevent it. It has no nuance and it's too preachy about the way we live, but it falls apart because Joseph is a huge hypocrite. And in the end, no matter what you do YOU lose and he has WON. And as a last slap, in the "good" ending HE IS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING. Don't buy this game there are so many better ones out there and cheaper in 2022.… Expand

    El peor far cry que he jugado....
    Ni lo pude terminar.
    Juego aburrido que no explora mas la jugabilidad, misma historia que el 4 y el 3 pero de peor calidad.
    Buenos graficos y nada más.
    El resto de cosas son negativas.
    No lo recomiendo a menos de que seas un fan toxico de Ubisoft

    This fresh take on the Far Cry franchise is clearly visible content-wise, but a tad more discrete on the style. If you're not bothered by the slightly repetitive formula, you'll enjoy the many strengths of this episode.

    Far Cry 5 established itself as one of the best in the series, The game features some gorgeous scenery, an engaging story and the overall story is great fun and the theme is very realistic. The game mixes up the missions so it doesn't get repetitive halfway through the game. Far Cry 5 is a great entry to the series for newbies and veterans alike.
