    Fairy Tail is the best JRPG Game i ever played the combat system i just great with a lot of cool magic moves the story is great the gameplay is great and the graphic is also great i just have won word to say the creators that had made this game did a fantastic job i can definitely recommend this game to the fairy tail fans

    I don’t think this game is without its faults but it is definitely not a bad game for a game that doesn’t get the same budget as a game like God of War or Persona 5. It has mechanics and systems that make it more enjoyable and just a good game choice overall that has it flow better, and should put some rpgs and turn based games to shame, but with the limits they had they couldn’t addI don’t think this game is without its faults but it is definitely not a bad game for a game that doesn’t get the same budget as a game like God of War or Persona 5.     Pretty great game, the combat is pretty good, the animations are spot on. Im not even a fan of the anime, and i enjoyed the game. It is repetitive on the quests though. At the end of the game there is a bunch of stuff, I recommend it!

    This is a nice throwback game that successfully captures the feel of Fairy Tail. The grid-based system gives combat a bit more depth that I expected and the game gives a lot ways to customize your team. It's clearly not a big budget game, with iffy animations and cutscenes, but those issues are minor. If you are a fan of the series there's a lot to love here.

    Fairy Tail is a turn base jrpg from hit manga series and I was very surprised how good this game is. You have 16 playable characters from the series with their own set attacks. You can change outfits, see the music gallery and give items to Lucy's spirit Plue for neat items. Lucy's room is almost same like the tv series.     It’s a great turnbase game but my only con is it doesn’t have English dubbing. So get ready to read a lot and I mean a lot but that didn’t stop me from getting the platinum.

    This game is a love letter to fairy tail fans, it also has very very good Turn based RPG mechanics and is very balanced and RNG doesnt really mess you up at all which is rare in Turn Based games!. Combat animations are beautiful and Alot of content and solid depth in the characters you play as!.
    Only real issue is some of the enviromental textures are dated and some characters dont appear    This game is a love letter to fairy tail fans, it also has very very good Turn based RPG mechanics and is very balanced and RNG doesnt really mess you up at all which is rare in Turn Based games!.     It's a very good light hearted JRPG I've had a fun time playing it I would definitely recommend it:)

    great game if you love jrpg and fairy tail . but if you like jrpg but you dont know if is worth it to buy the game i suggets to wait until the sales :D

    I’m 10 hours into the game, I honestly don’t know why people are giving this a bad rating. The character models, animations, and graphics are all super faithful and amazing for the characters and story. The combat is great. I am playing the story on Hard and there is a decent challenge, playable characters have awesome upgrades and attacks. Highly recommend for Fairy Tail fans.     Muito boa a ideia do jogo mas o orçamento reduzido destrói o esforço. faltar modelos de personagens é algo muito ruim. jogando ainda... a ideia do jogo é muito boa mas parece que foi feito pra o ps3 e venderam com o valor de um AAA. Podiam fazer um patch com os modelos e outras coisas que faltam no jogo.

    Great game if you love the series. don’t listen to the haters. Good combat mechanics Cool moves true to the manga. Characters true to manga. Great soundtrack and story.

    Although the game has a lot of bugs and flaws, which I hope get fixed with future patches, it’s a really fun and enjoyable game. I couldn’t get my hand of it over the past few days as the content is addictive ( 30 hors of gameplay and not done yet ) Although some characters and events are missing there are done extra scenes such as characters bonds that are a nice touch .     Este juego es un regalo para los amantes de Fairy Tail, pero tambien puede ser entretenido para aquellos que quieran comenzar la serie. El apartado grafico es espectacular, tanto en el gameplay come en cinematicas. El gameplay es del tipo RPG asi que si te gustan los juegos de peleas, lo digo ya, no lo jueges, aunque si te gusta la mecanica de juego de los RPG clasicos, juegalo por que laEste juego es un regalo para los amantes de Fairy Tail, pero tambien puede ser entretenido para aquellos que quieran comenzar la serie.     FT is my guilty pleasure anime and loved the crap out of this game despite it's obvious short comings. there's the model problem with Lucy's celestial spirits, lack of diverse requips for Erza etc. but in general I enjoyed this game a lot (and still am) hope to see more content in the future

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is an "okay" RPG but a great Fairy Tail game, nothing like "OMG THAT'S THE BEST GAME EVER MADE" but also nothing like "that's gargabe". There is some things I disliked (like lack of more challenging stuff after you beat the game, once you take an overpowered character like Natsu and does that stuff to reset Level 99 to Level 1 increasing the base stats you pretty much destroys everything, including the 99 Wave you can fight against). Another thing I disliked is the full price, since the game is barely bigger than GTA San Andreas in GB size. And the Photo Mode is bad, could've be better.

    Good things are:

    + The voice acting, since all the original voice actors from the anime returned.

    + The characters interactions also are really fun (lol at some, didn't expected Sherria to embarass Lucy about Natsu).

    + The game IS challenging at the very start, mainly if you're not an RPG expert like me who likes the gender but isn't my favorite ever. I spend 1 hour in the Jellal boss fight since I was really hopeless at this at the very start of it. Got better eventually, but before finishes the game I actually had to think to beat some fights administrating HP and Mana. And with a challenging start, I was motived to play it.

    + Cool Platinum trophy, the Platinum trophy is very cool to get. The beating I got from Gildarts was what motivated me to go after the Platinum.

    + Starts straight at the point, in a way I liked it. The game starts mid-fight against Hades where Natsu gets Lightning Fire Dragon Mode, which is way more fun than... let's say, if the game started at the very beggining of the Fairy Tail anime. I probably wouldn't be hyped to play this if my first fight was against Bora using Natsu, like Episode 1.

    It's an 9 for me, it's fairly respectful to his original source, it's fun to play at the story mode, an cool platinum, cool and accurate characters interactions... yeah, could've be better at the Photo Mode, at the post-game things and MAINLY on the price. I paid this a bit sad at full price since the game is barely GB bigger than GTA SA (FT have 6 GB or so, San Andreas have 4.8 GB or so). I enjoyed the game A LOT, but still a bit sad about the full price.    … Expand

    Mediocre graphics is a big letdown of Fairy Tail (a common flaw of many Japanese video games based on anime/manga), but it plays much better than you might assume by looking at screenshots and watching trailers.

    Fairy Tail is a good gift for fans of the series, but everyone else will not understand the enthusiasm of the characters, the history of their relationships or the rules of the world. The attached encyclopedia offers a brief reference, but this is clearly not enough for a full immersion. Of course, the leader of the Fairy Tail Guild Makarov can attract, but this will only cause a passing interest among newcomers. Bright fights and magic delight, but the slow story with boring tasks and pumping make you yawn from the monotony. But if you are a fan of the original manga or anime series, you can safely add one point to our rating, because you will find yourself in the world that you have been waiting for.

    Although minor things like no English voiceover work set back the overall quality, I still find Fairy Tail to be a step above most other anime-based games. The quality of graphics aren’t top-tier for a modern 2020 game, but they look pleasingly anime-like in color and design so it doesn’t feel like a throw-away entry of any sort. Overall, if you’ve been itching for a new anime game and you love Fairy Tail, then Fairy Tail on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC is a fun and refreshing new take.
