    Z początku miałem mieszane uczucia co do tej gierki, ale już wcześniej domyślałem się z czym się mierzę. Grałem w Gothic'a wszystkie części, Risena tylko jedynkę bo kolejnych odsłon nie mogłem strawić i już myślałem ,że na dobre ten Risen 3 ich pogrzebie. Ale Elex daje radę, brakowało mi ich jakiejś nowej dobrej produkcji od czasu jak tylko wyszedł Zmierzch Bugów do tego ta Arcania dobiłaZ początku miałem mieszane uczucia co do tej gierki, ale już wcześniej domyślałem się z czym się mierzę. Grałem w Gothic'a wszystkie części, Risena tylko jedynkę bo kolejnych odsłon nie mogłem strawić i już myślałem ,że na dobre ten Risen 3 ich pogrzebie. Ale Elex daje radę, brakowało mi ich jakiejś nowej dobrej produkcji od czasu jak tylko wyszedł Zmierzch Bugów do tego ta Arcania dobiła wszystko i całą wspaniałą fabułę bezimiennego szlak trafił. Mam nadzieje ,że kiedyś być może wymyślą coś jak zrobić prawdziwą część gothic'a po trzeciej części bo reszty nie uznaje za kanon.

    Elex sprawił ,że chce mi się grać ,uzależnił jak ten narkotyk o tej nazwie..
    Bez uczuć wlepiony w monitor po prostu gram i reszta mnie nie interesuje :)    … Expand

    Nicht umsonst hat ELEX den Gold Award von der Gamestar bekommen. Ein absolut würdiger Nachfolger der Gothic Reihe bei dem PB wirklich alles richtig macht. Coole Dialoge, die im Deutschen wahrscheinlich deutlich besser sind als in der englischen Übersetzung und ein harscher, aber nicht unsympatischer Hauptcharakter. Das Kampfsystem, die Animationen und    Ein Spiel, wie es sein muss.

    Coole Dialoge, die im Deutschen wahrscheinlich deutlich besser sind als in der englischen Übersetzung und ein harscher, aber nicht unsympatischer Hauptcharakter.

    Das Kampfsystem, die Animationen und die Grafik sind sind superkrass up to date und aufpoliert bis man sich daran blendet, nein, es ist ein solides Spiel, so wie man es von PB erwartet.

    Wer noch unentschieden ist, kann gerne Dienstags und Donnerstag bei uns auf dem Kanal vorbeischauen, dann gibt's immer einen mehrstündigen Stream, der sicherlich eine Menge vom wirklichen Herz des Spiels offenbart.    … Expand

    As far as I am concerned this is the true sequel to Gothic I and Gothic II.

    From what I have played the atmosphere is amazing,the factions seem to be pretty good and the skills system is deep as well. This is one of those games that mainstream reviewers will never "get" so to speak so the Metacritic rating is basically useless. But for people that played the original Gothic games    As far as I am concerned this is the true sequel to Gothic I and Gothic II.

    Игра стоит своих денег. Графика может и не очень хорошая , но окружающий мир великолепный. Интерфейс не из лучших , можно было сделать и получше. Очень напоминает Готику 2 , особенно паладина Лотара который говорит Ты да же не гражданин , а в Elex говорят ты даже не земледелец ))).Игра стоит своих денег.     Elex is a typical Piranha Bytes game with all their strenghts and weaknesses. It might lack polish and might not look up-to-date, but after a while it opens up and you can experience an unique open world like only Piranha Bytes can create them... ;)

    Начну пожалуй с самой игры
    В самом начале когда вы начинаете идти по квесту,вы ощущаете те самые моменты,когда ты вливаешся в эту самую атмосферу,да да
    Так же,как по мне,по настройкам,хоть даже на низко-средних приятнее играть(у меня все на макс.мне не понять этого xdd)
    Ну и еще,как вы все прекрасно знаете,карта в 1.5 больше чем в 3 части,а это значит готовьте свои булки и нервы,ибо в таком хардкоре придется бегать пешочком(Да,да,телепорты все дела,но в начале вы х** че найдете,да спасибо)
    Советую просто,даже без всяких вопрос идти,и покупать эт божество

    Il gioco sarebbe divertente se si riuscisse ad equilibrare le abilità dell' alter ego dal momento che queste risultano essere insufficienti rispetto alla forza dei nemici. Inoltre è complicato esplorare l'ambiente circostante a causa dei nemici troppo forti che rendono impossibile il volersi unire alle fazioni di interesse per poter vivere l'evolversi della storia del gioco.

    Fani Gothica i Risen znajdą w tej grze najlepsze jak i najgorsze cechy wcześniejszych produkcji PB, ale co z tego, skoro gra wciąga jak bagno? Faktycznie nie jest to ideał, ale nie za to Gothic 1 ma do dziś fanów i zapaleńców a ta gra może być własnie takim "nowy" Gothiciem :)

    Tons of interesting lore... delivered through average to below-average voice acting and in the form of often awkward writing.

    Diverse factions to explore and join... after you've done hours of busy work for them.

    A thrilling plot... that takes about a thousand reloads for you to see the end of.

    A complex character building system... that offers zero hand-holding and might lead to you screwing up your character after hours of gameplay.    … Expand

    Is it a good combat game? Possibly not. If you are looking for that; you may be disappointed. Some of us can simply ignore the wonky combat and animations and play the game for it's freedom, reward system, writing, humor and old school feel. PROS: - Writing - Reward (Very hard start) - Compelling    I'm glad they're still making good RPG's. They are a tiny dev team of 25.

    - Freedom (Entire world explorable lvl 1, albeit monsters are tough.)
    - Difficulty (For me this is a PLUS)
    - Rewarding when you get good at the bad combat
    - Story

    CONS:
    - Animations
    - English voice acting
    - Combat (Clunky, older styled slow paced parry/dodge fest)
    - Bugs (What huge RPG doesnt have em?)
    - Zero customization
    - Lack of "Loot". There isn't a lot.
    - UI

    For what it lacks in polish it gives back in story, nostalgia, writing, and general role-playing experience. If you can get past the old school RPG feel (or even enjoy that) then you're in for a fun surprise. It won't be GOTY, but it's a nice refresher.    … Expand

    Hands down the worst indie game made this year. This game is simply broken and boring, the combat is awful, the hitbox doesn't exist, the soundtrack is cancer and the animations are like 20 years old. This game is just a complete embarrassment.

I love Skyrim and all those, but they are far buggier. As for major problems, I've experienced no frame rate drops, no buggy AI, no crashes, nothing like that at all. It's not an easy game, which forced me to readjust what I was doing and figure the control scheme better and now I love it. A "0" is not fair at all. The story is bland, the NPCs generic and there seems to be some sort of trust system with NPCs but it's so badly made you get the first NPC you meet to idolize you after you have done one quest. And they are trying to pass this off as a full game for 50 €. Worst game experience I have had, ever.… Expand

    It's not very good. The melee combat is bad, the ranged combat is bad (hitboxes are an issue in both cases), the RPG mechanics are mostly bad, and the exploration is hampered by the absolutely atrocious placement of enemies, which is probably the single worst aspect of the game.

    This is a giant open world rpg made by a small team of 25 people and in some areas it shows but if you are willing to invest a few hours look past it's rough edges there is a game that will win you over with it's heart.

The control layout is terrible, essentially every single animation/cutscenes in the game is very bad, the voice acting and scripts are very bad, the terrain and map are horrendous biomes shift similarly to MineCraft (There is a lush forest an invisible line then all of a sudden a wintery wonderland? That's not how nature works), combat is not fun whatsoever the animations don't match command inputs, there is an absurd amount of bugs (Get ready to fall through the floor forever all the time), movement around the world is clunky and is not enjoyable even if you get a very weak/crappy jetpack, and the game struggles technically it runs around 20 fps regularly. The game has some good quest ideas and story elements but the general awfulness of the game far overshadow them. An example, the world although it doesn't look very good it has some cool areas, they however are terrible because it sucks to explore them with the crap controls, animations, and character given to you. The moral is that this game is very bad and the developers shouldn't legally be allowed to sell this as a complete product, it very clearly is not.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I think those giving this game 0's and 10' are both ruining how we should really be scoring games/films on this site. Lets be straight for once whether you love or hate the game.

    I am waiting for A.C Origins so over the past couple months I have re-visited a lot of games, a couple RPG's, that is Skyrim and the Witcher 3. I bought Elex to help pass the time before launch of A.C Origins at full price Canadian bucks on the PSN = $79.00 (NOT WORTH FULL PRICE MORE LIKE WORTH $49.00). I have spent the past couple days playing this game and its an average game. Well, everything is average except for the environmental visuals. At the core of this game I think the developers/writers have something, there is potential to perhaps break out of its shell of an average game for the next follow up to Elex. I had some fun reading about the lore and learning about the history, and some of the weapons and upgrades as well as armor were cool. The combat was sluggish and kind of slow almost like Dragon Age Origins but hey it was alright definitely wasn't game breaking just kind of annoying at times. The only real issues I have with this game so far are the framerates dropping while on my PS4PRO and the jetpack! Its like a super jump mod in Skyrim.

    I don't understand some of the pure hate for this new IP but won't deny its not nearly perfect. I also don't understand the perfect scores of 10 and praise for it. Its an average game people, true RPG fans looking for a new IP should enjoy this game and I will most definitely keep playing it until A.C Origins releases.

    I bought this game to have a refreshing rpg in my collection , why? Because I saw it mixes the future and historical fantasy ( like elder scrolls) but I should have done better research because this game is disapointing
    The game is buggy as hell , bad camera and many more technical issues
    The graphics aren't that good to Behind all this negative points their is an ok rpg , but also far    I bought this game to have a refreshing rpg in my collection , why?     My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me.     This game quite literally ruined my life. Bit of a backstory, my mom bought me gothic when i was a baby. I played and beat it in 4 hours cause l'm a pro gamer. but my family is broke so that was my first and only game i ever played. 20 years later i finally get a job as a janitor, i hear about elex from a friend, i found out the same people who made gothic made elex, but i am too broke toThis game quite literally ruined my life.     So i make youtube channel about elex, but i get little views so still can't buy. One day from release i decide to take loan, i finally buy the game the next day but then i realize my pc too weak to play, so i take another loan and buy new pc. I play the game, but to my horror, i cant find diego :(
    I search for my daddy for 30 hours and still not find him. I cant pay back loan so will go to jail soon. I just wanted to see my daddy again :(    … Expand

    Elex is good. Not every game can offer you so many options.
    This game is too hard for casuls, if you are trying to play it with one hand, while holding beer in another one, it won't work.
    Git gud or don't touch it.

    One of the worst games ever, so boring and lame. Full of glitches and bugs that on occasion looks as if it was developed in 1999. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this one! Or at least wait for a bargain bin price to satisfy your morbid curiosity.

    By far the worst indie game ever made. These nobody developers basically copied games like skyrim, fallout and witcher. The developers should be sued for stealing ideas from these better and more amazing games.

    Great game. Amazing open world, not sure what all 0 scores are talking about, seen one or two glitches but no huge bugs. Not a very hard game. When i went through the first city i was sold! More immersive than skyrim, better quests, etc

    It should be illegal for developers to release unplayable games. From the glitches, crashes, frame rate drops, weird audio glitches, this game is pretty much unplayable.

    As a veteran fan of the Gothic Series & and Risen 1 (disliked Risen 2&3) - I had high expectations for Elex. As PB messed up the console versions of Risen, I was curious, if they meet the standards for a PS4 Version of Elex.
    The graphics can't compete with a AAA game of nowadays, but as I'm more the 'older generation' of players, graphics aren't that important to me than atmosphere &    As a veteran fan of the Gothic Series & and Risen 1 (disliked Risen 2&3) - I had high expectations for Elex. As PB messed up the console versions of Risen, I was curious, if they meet the standards for a PS4 Version of Elex.
    The graphics can't compete with a AAA game of nowadays, but as I'm more the 'older generation' of players, graphics aren't that important to me than atmosphere & immersion.
    The graphics are somewhat ~ 2011 / Skyrim-Level (on it's release version, w/o mods). The sounds are well, but from time to time clunky.
    But as I said before - and as it is a user's review - I lay my focus on story, atmosphere and 'how the game feels to me" - that's why I gave a 9 out of 10. I'm having so much fun playing the game, influencing the story by the decisions I make, exploring the world, watching the people f.e. in Goliet doing their daily business.
    So if you're a fan of open world games and in particular of the Gothic Series, owning a PS4 PRo (i didn't experienced any fps drops there): I'd buy it! :-)    … Expand

    I honestly can't understand these low scores. Elex is a solid game. It's not as polished in a few areas as one might want but it has character, good atmosphere and the game play is just fine. Some of the movements can sometimes be a bit hitchy, like falling, but it's not terrible. Most of the movements are smooth. Music is good and though the voice acting isn't perfect its more thanI honestly can't understand these low scores. Elex is a solid game.     I just want to say this: don't look at user score, because there are "reviews" from people who specially made new account to give this game 0 points on every platform(PC, PS4, XONE). I mean, I'm sure they bought this game 3 times.

    Yes, animations are, i woulds say, not as good as i hoped they will be.
    And yes, there are some technical issues but i think its a matter of time to patch it.
    Overall - i would like to give it a 7,5 score(or even 10 just for the sake of haters), but unfortunately there is no option to give half scores, so it gets 8 from me.
    I think that this is the game which you can hate or love, so there is no way to say if it's waste of money or not if you don't play it.

    Calm the **** down.
    The reason we see a continuous rehash of games that seem to be copies of one another is because we give no leeway for smaller companies trying to break into the AAA scene.
    The game is not a masterpiece, but it's 100% enjoyable.

    Everything is this game is terrible. The story feels like it was written by kids, the combat sucks, animations are horrible, bad voice acting, and the worst graphics on ps4 i have ever seen.

    They need to stay at where Skyrim is because this game isn't at all trying to be Skyrim. Give it a real try and then open your mouth.     I really wanted to give this game a chance but it is just recently unplayable. Full of bugs, glitches, the camera is terrible, the A.I is also buggy. The frame rate drops are by far the worst and most annoying issue in the game, it happens constantly, whether you run around, in combat, even if you stand still and open up the inventory the frame rate drops.     This is by far the most buggiest game released on the ps4 this year. The developers should be sued for releasing a game full of technical issues on console but slightly more playable in the pc version.

    Awesome factions, story, dialogues, characters, world, exploration, climate, soundtrack and quests.. Not so good fight, animation and graphics. I recommend to everybody who likes great stories.

    Elex is a raw diamond full of flaws but with too much value to consider it as an ugly and wrong game. Give it time, be patient and it will capture you.

    Elex is the RPG game of the old era, made by the old guard for the old guard. It has a lot of charm and magic hidden inside its massive world but its clunky elements will probably prove to be a dealbreaker for newer gamers that didn’t grew up with the same issues that persist Piranha Bytes games since Gothic.

    Elex is far from perfect. It can be a frustrating experience and the horrible combat system could be a deal breaker, but it’s undeniably an ambitious title with a promising future.
