    Elex is the best game Piranha Bytes has ever made. They’ve taken all the lessons learned on plotting, worldbuilding and character development from their work on Risen and Gothic and applied it something far more ambitious. The result is a truly great action-RPG, full of interesting characters, memorable quests, and amazing environments. While Elex‘s story comes to a satisfying conclusion and all the questions Jax starts with are definitively answered, it ends with the suggestion that there’s a much bigger story on the way, and I can’t wait for it to arrive.

    The creators manage the balancing act between fantasy and science fiction really well, the environment is full of loving details and surprises.

The frame rate drops are by far the worst and most annoying issue in the game, it happens constantly, whether you run around, in combat, even if you stand still and open up the inventory the frame rate drops. It has also crashed 3 times for me so far and i only just got it.… Full Review »

    This game is plain awful. The voice acting sounds like it's from a 2005 game. The sound and animations are probably the worst I've ever seen in a game. Sometimes the music just disappears right in the middle of cutscenes. The texture looks like something from a PS2 game.
    Frustrating, ugly, broken, irritating, dull -- I cannot recommend this game to a single person. Please do not buy Elex. It is a very bad game.    … Full Review »
