    Game full of script, akward player movement and poor passing. When you have more than 500 online games at the start of the match you can notice if you will win or lose

    Definitely the worst way to end a decade. Offline modes like BAL and Master league are way to monotonous. Online, the scrip in the game is absurd, I've literally can be playing three games a day and I win, lose and tie one with the same team, in one match the players are making perfect moves, the other one if I score first, the players start losing the ball until the other guy ties, in theDefinitely the worst way to end a decade.     A major dissapointment ...the demo was amazing but the released version was as usual a disaster.
    there's no freedom in dribbling, it's feels clunky, there's no atmosfere, the commentary is horrendous.
    The referee desicions are still a mess. There's no effort or changes in the career mode (become a legend) , its still the same like every year. I apreciate the fact the main focus lays on    A major dissapointment ...the demo was amazing but the released version was as usual a disaster.

    Aside from good graphics, player response as opposed to Cpu controlled is terrible. Also, the refereeing is absolutely laughable, I have played the master league for 5 seasons and i have been fowled in the 18 yard box countless times and i have never been given a penalty. 5 seasons and not a single penalty awarded.

    nice graphics but - Lack of licenses and Robotic gameplay is really annoying. Online Section is awfull. So I think FIFA is really really better( I'm not a FIFA fan )

    I was very hyped for this game but got very disappointed (review is only for myclub)..
    sometimes its impossible to receive a normal pass, ball bounces around very often even with players like B. Silva. Players fall on the ground way to often, momentum is even a big factor here, very obvious.
    The game looks awesome, dont get me wrong, everything is perfect, but gameplay wise its not    I was very hyped for this game but got very disappointed (review is only for myclub)..

    Add to all that the same old painful online experience, featuring the same old steampunk servers, then spoon on top of all that the truly horrible UI & endless, pointless menus, replays, going thru 3 screens to perform an action where 1 would do, menus, menus, and, oh did I mention?....More menus!!....And all just as ugly & unchanged from about 2001.

    Last year & this year were Konami's GOLDEN CHANCES to finally take back the mantle of Top Footy Game from FIFA!...but you fluffed your lines Konami....So very very badly.

    In fact, somehow - I feel that in many ways PES has never been further behind FIFA...And given how rubbish FIFA has been the past few years...that has GOT to be a worry for Konami, surelyi?!

    If they were smart. Their ONLY answer from here is to tear this game apart - raze it to the ground. And then throw everything in the bin...and start again. Rebuild EVERYTHING from the ground up.

    Else it seems PES will be forever living in FIFA's stinking shadow, feeding off their scraps...

    PLEASE???...We want...no, we DESERVE a game that will slap EA' back into place!

    But as things stand - sadly, there is just no way I could recommend this game to anyone I cared about....Just no way.    … Expand

    Player awareness in this game is a joke. Players reactions to the ball is poor. Most of the time they dont know what to do and basically do nothing. For example you pass the ball to one of your teammates and the expected thing from him is controlling the ball but sometimes they cant even do it and they watch and let it go.     Secondly players against pressure dont move fast or dont do his next move faster. F.e your defender has the ball and an opponent is about to pressure sometimes it takes nearly 2 secons for him to pass the ball and that causes you to lose the ball in such a risky spot.

    Referee's decisions are terrible. Especially card decisions. Havent seen red card yet. And yellow card choices are also terrible 70% wrong.

    If you enjoy playing offline more than online DONT PURCHASE Pes get Fifa and enjoy better offline experience.    … Expand

    Abhorrent online experience, unresponsive game, out of control handicap. Coupled with increasing aggressive pay2win special player campaigns, this online game is nothing but a broken rage-inducing cash grab as content is pretty much non-existent as well.

    Offline is better although still infuriating as referees are broken and biased towards the AI. If you want to buy this game to play    Abhorrent online experience, unresponsive game, out of control handicap.     Big step down for Konami. Game is unfinished, AI is awful, passing is awful. Scripting is big part of gameplay and that is so sad.

    I hope Konami will sell licencse to someone with motives and ambitions because it is sad to watch how they are destroying something so good.

    Game is horible, you can't cancel a action is just one of a million of problems, de mechanic of penalty is so horible, and the "brasileirão" (the only league they have all teams) is out of date.

    PES 2020 is better than FIFA in terms of ball physics, tackling, stadiums and the overall gameplay. However, PES 2020 is lacking incredibly simple but also essential features. One of my favorite things to do on FIFA was to create a custom tournament with my brother. We'd skip the boring matches and switch sides occasionally. Both of these features are not present in PES 2020. Why? ThisPES 2020 is better than FIFA in terms of ball physics, tackling, stadiums and the overall gameplay. However, PES 2020 is lacking incredibly simple but also essential features. One of my favorite things to do on FIFA was to create a custom tournament with my brother. We'd skip the boring matches and switch sides occasionally. Both of these features are not present in PES 2020. Why? This incredible game is ruined by the fact that PES developers either can't be assed or aren't competent enough to include features that have been present with the competition for years now. PES, I can forgive you for not including licenses, there is a fix for that. But for the love of god, don't make playing this game a hassle. Step up for god's sake. I quit playing PES due to the non-present features, and really hope that the developers will add these basics to the future games, otherwise PES won't keep up with FIFA.… Expand

    Same old game: scripted seasons, players uncontrollable on loose balls, defenders glued to attackers backs on long balls with no hope of controlling them... The Football gaming badly needs a 3rd decent game to put an end to this FIFA/PES yearly scam.

Ahora se volvió 7-8 años atrás, jugadores torpisimo, pases que salen en cualquier dirección, etc... que mal, pes2019 me había reencantado con el genero (fifa es aun peor en agilidad de jugadores), pero este juego es injugable. Le puse un 2 por las mejoras en myclub. No comprar ahora, esperar que salganPES2019 había sido un gran acierto en cuanto a fluidez y movimientos de los jugadores.     I truly love PES, since the beginning when others were playing EA I was stubborn to play PES. I don’t enjoy rating this bad a game that I do love, but the SCRIPTS are ruining everything. I will not play EA but most sure will not buy anything new from Konami since they are using scripts, ruining all the experience and expectations...

    So disappointed to have the same thing every year. A demo that the fans respond too and then a full release which bears no resemblance. Finesse dribbling, shielding, pace had all been improved and stood out yet they've all been removed from the main game. Who do Konami take feed back from? Time for a change at the top of the franchise is to progress.

    The greatest addition this year are the scripted games. If your team is lower rated than the opponent's one, then the game will do everything for you to lose. Your player won't run, will have lag in their actions and so on... this shot they took from fifa...

    Multiplayer is awful. Gameplay terrible and lag due to dynamic difficulty and lack of investment in servers. Micro transaction focused myclub mode is just terrible. Single player is fine but repetitive. Waste of money this year.

    Where to begin... Let's start with the modes
    Master league: a poor showing once again with no improvements barring a select few cutscenes that bring nothing and a new poorly made main menu. Same mode since 2016 otherwise

    BAL: no improvements

    Myclub: no improvements, no content, paywalled players, just pure cancer

    UI: the same poor user interface as iterations going back years. This game is stuck in 2003 in terms of design and usability. This year they added a new main menu and that's it. All sub menus, squads, game plan, help menus are all the same and of course have grammar and spelling mistakes. Just a joke.

    Gameplay - offline: on the lower difficulties it can be fun to play, there are some nice touches in terms of ball physics etc. but the game really starts to show its flaws when you ramp up the difficulty. You cannot dribble past a player or execute a skill move no matter how perfect the timing. Free kicks are a certain goal for the AI unless you manually override the keeper and the referees are programmed to favour the AI.

    Gameplay - online: The worst football game I have ever played online in my life. There are no servers, relying on p2p. The game isn't responsive enough to do anything, your own teammates will bug out gifting opponent's opportunities, fouls are not awarded resulting in rugby tackling matches, finesse dribbling is useless, cancerous tactics are abused such as kick off goals, playing 4 or 5 centre backs with no midfield but a front 4 to rely on 1-2 spam (who can blame people, the game has been designed to suit this meta), extremely long pause menus where your opponent can keep you waiting for upto 2 minutes and no chance to be able to see your goal in replays as it can be skipped, as well as not being able to see specific replays post match but having to cycle through every single one like I did when I first played pes 3.

    No word on the devs on fixes, they're done with the game it seems. Poor poor entry and I have limited faith the next iteration will be any better    … Expand

Muchos alaban su "jugabilidad" que con cada actualización va de mal en peor, no se puede dar un solo pase decente, movimientos lentos de los jugadores, minuto 80 y tu rival corre como si nada mientras los tuyos jamás llegan. Con esto es un clavo más al ataud de Konami que no hace nada por complacer al jugador en el únicoUn auténtico despropósito si es que a esto se le puede llamar juego.     Bad metagame. A slap in the faces of Pes fans. The change make the game too Hard to play defensive. The defenders usually make stupid mistake. Finese Touch is good but not enough to save the whole bad game

    good graphics, but gameplay is MEH. player AI is trash. makes no fun at all. if KONAMI improves AI and gameplay, it would be a much better game. but they dumbed it down for the masses.

    Cada año menos novedades, ligas y equipos, pero te siguen cobrando 60 dolares. Lo peor es que anuncian movimientos como cosas nuevas en esta version cuando la competencia ya tiene todo eso hace varias versiones atras. Otro año que PES te da un rompecabezas por 60 dolares y el usuario tiene que completarlo con mods para que quede un juego decente

    eFootball PES 2020 keeps all the merits of the series but lacks any significant breakthroughs. Still, it’s a good sports sim, especially in multiplayer.

    The 2020 edition is the most realistic virtual football I have ever encountered. After learning the gameplay’s basics you get a lot of fun and each passing hour makes it even better. Shame that after finishing the career, checking out the multiplayer and playing a few exhibition matches there is nothing left to do here. [12/2019, p.64]
