    Thank you for the realism! The game is much better than fifa and far more addictive. The official club names are missing but that did not not hinder the gameplay

    This year KONAMI made a lot of improvements,PES never had any real problems with game-play and graphics ,this year at the beginning referee was a bit retarded blowing whistle for every single thing while letting a rugby like tackle slide on the other hand,this was fixed with the 1st update.

    KONAMI also did some work on edit part ,where generic team names were replaced with names of the cities making it a lot easier to find your club rather then browsing through Merseyside Red and Blue,also kit colours actually match the real colours of the teams ,there is also an easy fix for unlicensed teams called Option files ,allowing you to install custom logos and kits fixing the unlicensed part of the game.(Microsoft prevents use of third party files so this unfortunetly doesn't apply for Xbox)
    Master league is amazing ,konami followed EA in addition of press conference interactive scenes where you answer the questions.
    MyClub is still behind Ultimate team but closing the gap ,it's a lot easier to build the team in MyClub.
    The parts where Konami can and hopefully will improve are presentation for licensed leagues ,like scoreboards and league graphic.
    Commentary needs to be a bit better as it seams like Peter Drury is having a delayed reaction to what is happening on the pitch.
    It seams every year if PES adds something it usually means we have to give something up this really has to stop.    … Expand

I believed that PES 2020 will actually be a better game, but it looks like It does not even matter how bad EA Sports make FIFA, FIFA will still be better. At the moment FIFA is way beyond broken and Career Mode is unplayable but I would rather go through a year of FIFA with all those huge problems than play another single match of this broken-gameplayed PES. I have no idea why so many people praise PES’s gameplay. I guess because they like the few things they do better than FIFA, and for the fact it’s the alternative to FIFA. In all honesty PES 2020 is a broken game and way too frustrating. Even when winning I get annoyed. AI is so handicapped. They respond extremely quick to dead balls, are all great at dribbling, fast, detect runs all the time, GK making super saves every game, and can tackle perfectly from behind etc. on top of that they are also stupid as ****, running into my goalie with the ball intead of shooting, missing open net 7/10 times. My own players avoid defending, can not tackle properly and gets tired so quickly. The skillstick is beyond embarrassing. So unresponsive and slow to execute, even with great dribblers like Messi or Neymar. Also why can’t Mbappe run faster than an average defender from Chinese League? Fix the game! Right now certain player types are useless, and there is only one way to attack and just a few formations that are effective. I do not even want to start and talk about collisions are so broken that sometimes game feels like WWE Pro Evolution Wrestling. When you are not playing the game when you are in menu and master league I must admit and say that It feels amazing, but as soon as you enter the football match and want to play a match you encounter all this huge problems that make game unplayable. And everyone said that there will be the most realistic "ball physics" ever, and there is right? Wrong! The ball movement is so broken that every shot you have and every pass you make; the ball will hit at least 2 players before reaching the final destination… Game graphics are very good but at what cost? I would rather have the worst graphics in the world but have a game where players do not look like uncharged robots. If you are new to football games, I recommend you to play anything instead of PES 2020, even New Star Soccer would be a million times better option than this piece of work. Now I will just name couple of things that are also broken in this game: penalty system (you can apply so little power and push it slight to the side and It will go miles away from the goal), online (It takes forever to find somebody that you can play with and when you finally do the game is so laggy that you lose your nervs), running (I did not see that every time Mbappe starts running he pushes the ball forward like 5-10 meters and keeps runing, It is so broken that If you even try running somewhere in the midfield you will just lose the ball, you do not even have to worry about that)… There are million problems here and licensing is the smallest problem of PES 2020, you can not even call it a problem when you see the gameplay on the pitch. There are also some positives but very few: free kicks (are still nice and much better than in FIFA), master league (better than career mode in general, but still some transfers that happen are really unrealistic) but everything else is actually broken. And do not make me even start about goalkeepers that try to box the ball and are just not capable of doing that and the ball ends in 6/10 times right in their 16 yards… I do not like to give a zero since the master league looks nice off the pitch and coach mode is pretty neat, so I am thinking between 1 and 2, but since the game was over-hyped and we were promised the revolutionary changing football game It is 1 for me! My recommendation: Do not buy this game...… Expand

    La jugabilidad la van mejorando cada año, lo único es que siempre al primer tiro libre siempre es gol y eso preocupa, entre otras jugadas. Además modo estrella, leyenda tienen mucha similitud de complejidad. Deben mejorar en diferenciar ambos. Yo he jugado en ambas maneras y sentía que en modo estrella estaba como en leyenda cuando no era así.     Pes showed what a great game it can be when the demo came out. Amazing dribbling, a lot more skill-based, and this showed online playing an opponent. Better players won. However, they basically scrapped all the good work they did and released Pes 2019 again. I don't play much offline but online is an absolute disgrace. The game has continued its scripted nonsense, where if you go on a fewPes showed what a great game it can be when the demo came out. Amazing dribbling, a lot more skill-based, and this showed online playing an opponent. Better players won. However, they basically scrapped all the good work they did and released Pes 2019 again. I don't play much offline but online is an absolute disgrace. The game has continued its scripted nonsense, where if you go on a few wins, your players become unresponsive and fail to do any of the basics correct. Massive delays in passing and shooting, also much weaker, this results in you having to cheese exploits in the game to get to high ranks. You will find yourself frustrated and throwing you controller at your window as your 94 rated defender decides he wants to go for a wander somewhere for no reason leaving their striker for a tap in. Their new addition Matchday is this nonsense on steroids. Granted I've only played the mode a few times as they decided to release it between 3-6 pm every day when most adult humans have to work. Another massive KON. The games feel forced if you score then all the scripted nonsense is notched up 500% to try and support your opponent equalise. I'm not a pro but I'm currently ranked in the top 1000 in my region ( out of about 110000 ) so I'm not bad. But my patience has run out with Konami, this will be the last Pes I buy. They teased so so much with the demo, and then basically destroyed the game. The people who write good reviews online are either lying or are not good players as no human in their right mind can enjoy this crap.… Expand

    Great game, if you want a realistic feel to football then this is the game, be prepared to think about where you are going to pass the ball, how you will break down the defence. With the option files you cannot go wrong! If you want the arcade feel then go for Fifa 20.

    Cada año menos novedades, ligas y equipos, pero te siguen cobrando 60 dolares. Lo peor es que anuncian movimientos como cosas nuevas en esta version cuando la competencia ya tiene todo eso hace varias versiones atras. Otro año que PES te da un rompecabezas por 60 dolares y el usuario tiene que completarlo con mods para que quede un juego decente

    The game is solid. Great graphics. Fast and easy menus. (Little dated tho) SolidMaster League experience (career mode) Its not that its amazing compared to recent PES games,its just that compared to the last years FIFA THIS is the only football (soccer) game thats worth your money.

    This is just facts.

    The score i would give is a 8. But will submit a 10 because so many IDIOTS give it a 0.

    Quality game! Master League is a dream, no issues with transfers, good challenge with signing players. Gameplay is superb, physicality is awesome, feels like you're in a real tussle. You have the ability to play different styles of play, top drawer!!!

    The degree of realism and exciting gameplay is the best since the age of football games began in 90s. If you are a football fan, do yourself a favor and buy this game. The option files are already    The king is back!

    I don't have PES20, just giving it a 10 because I bought Fifa 20 and it's the same game from the last two versions. EA seriously deserves to lose all the customers they have. They should apologize for that.

    This was my first time buying PES and it's actually great, fast paced, makes you feel like your impacting the game. The ultimate team in this game actually rewards you and has lots of options. The graphics are great and cool new leagues and teams(Brazil and Russia). Euro update will be coming later. Only issue I have is the passing sometimes although I love how the passing feels sometimesThis was my first time buying PES and it's actually great, fast paced, makes you feel like your impacting the game.     Único ponto negativo na verdade não vai para o game em si, mas sim pelo sistema em que o mesmo roda, pra galera que curte jogar online é horrível jogar no PS4, conexão da PSN é um desastre sem contar a resolução que no Xbox One é muito melhor!

    sometimes its impossible to receive a normal pass, ball bounces around very often even with players like B. Silva. Players fall on the ground way to often, momentum is even a big factor here, very obvious.
    The game looks awesome, dont get me wrong, everything is perfect, but gameplay wise its not    I was very hyped for this game but got very disappointed (review is only for myclub)..

    Bon jeu mais... Les joueurs semblent beaucoup trop lourds et semblent tous avoir le même poids. Trop de fautes sont sifflés sur les contactes.
    Mode de jeux ? Contenu ? Aucune évolution par rapport aux années précédentes.
    My Team n'arrive pas à la cheville de FUT. Beaucoup de problèmes de connexion en online.

    Good: Superb game play. Feels right, feels like real football.
    Bad: MyClub needs to be reworked entirely. New things like daily objects, season pass, TRANSFER MARKET, best rewards, etc.
    Ugly: I don't like the idea to defend by just pressing A. Defense needs to be more manual, more interactive. It was a good mechanic 8 years ago, now we need more.

    Played Pro Evo since 2002 and If you plan to play online, can confirm this is highway robbery. 3 years ago division 1 level title 950+ past 2 seasons division 6to10 with 350-550 rating due to online lag cheats 80% (*that's been generous to these rat bastards at Konami). A terrible unplayable game online.

    A weak game with only new colors and master league very boring because ALWAYS have The same scenes for All teams and coach. You cannot make a coach on ML and that os horrível. The game faces are from STARAMBA and not from KONAMI equipment.

    Unquestionably the best iteration of PES thus far and still the truest simulation of football to be found. The ball physics are a thing of beauty but the lighting, player physics and overall play is stunning.

    I'm a Fifa fan converted to Pes, I realized Pes screen game experience and dynamics are so much better than Fifas, the game looks and feels so much better and I had to switch. Don't get me wrong, there are some things Fifa does better like the games broadcast, fan interaction etc.

    It's PES 2019 2.0, this final version is not representative of the demo version, a foutage mouth. Very bad communication of the editor. No improvements in online modes. I regret my purchase.

    Como simulador de fútbol el mejor juego. La jugabilidad es muy buena y para nada se hace un juego aburrido. Liga máster mejorada y en myclub si juegas frecuentemente no hace falta pagar dinero real para obtener un buen equipo rápidamente.

    But let's get to the point that matters most in Pro Evolution Soccer: the gameplay. In a nutshell, smooth, fast and fun to play. The only things I have to point out are the pressure from the second and third players to the ball carrier, which is overkill, and the fault criterion is very inconsistent. About AI, I notice that CPU-controlled opponents now do shots outside of the area, which was very rare in previous PES. In previous titles the focus of AI was to cross the flanks.

    One of the most favorite and used modes in PES also has news. I speak of Edit Mode. We have more options and more flexibility when editing teams, players, leagues and competitions. We can import the partnership logos that will be shown in various ways, and an example of this are the press conference scenarios. Modes such as Rise to Stardom and Offline and Online Co-op are also present, as expected.

    About online itself, I had no reason to complain about the games I played, although it took me a long time to find someone with a stable connection. Graphically it remains a high quality game. The game environments aren't bad, but they could be better, especially at the beginning when the stadiums are full, but there is a lack of noise to make it more realistic and immersive. Comments are still very repetitive and, unfortunately, the same goes for comments in English. All in all, it's a game with some inconsistencies and things that have long needed to be improved, but overall, I really enjoyed this eFootball PES 2020.

    nice graphics but - Lack of licenses and Robotic gameplay is really annoying. Online Section is awfull. So I think FIFA is really really better( I'm not a FIFA fan )

    In terms of gameplay, this has to be one of the best sports game ever. Licenses, well the community patches do the trick. On the pitch the slightly slower game play actually makes it much more realistic then ever.

    USA online players beware! This game has serious problems with control response. If you are new to soccer gaming do yourself a favor and avoid this game. I have been playing this game series since 2003 and, with the exception of the 2007 release, this game is the worst online. Other reviews are not based on online play. Trust me. There is no excuse for this in 2019.

    As a long time PES player I can't help but feel a tad disappointed with this year's update especially after the promising demo. The game feels, at times, a pleasure to play, when a well worked goal is finished off you cant help but smile at how superb it all came together with some delectable animations. However I'm going to concentrate on the many negatives.

    The players ignoring the ball, letting it go past them while they just stand there oblivious.

    The passing, shooting, everything seems overly assisted, you pass or shoot at times and it gives a power, and often direction, that you didn't give it, like the A.I overrides you and just does what it wants while you sit there pressing buttons like a monkey wondering what real input you're having.

    The input lag is unforgivable, it affects everything, from dribbling to getting in a shot, and what's worse is it actually feels like it's a deliberate code rather a game engine issue or any fault with your connection or reactions.

    The scripted momentum is still there.

    They have added literally nothing to MyClub apart from a few new sound effects and the way some menus appear.

    Close control feels worse than PES 2019 despite Iniesta's best efforts.

    Konami think a "remaster of Master League" is putting in a few manager cut scenes that after five minutes you want to skip. Remaster it is not, in fact it's a downright lie.

    A lot of crap from earlier games still being here, the lone players in co-op, the nonsense "We Believe etc." banners adorning every stadium, having the same button control skip and pause, the replays every time the ball goes out of play, the poor audio etc. etc. etc.

    Knowing Konami and knowing they probably wont patch any of these issues.

    Overall when I'm playing this game I'm often thinking three things "PES 2019 did it better", "So scripted", and "This isn't worth £40".    … Expand

The slower pace allows more time to search for an opening and creating spaces for others. The dribbling and touches are much better than ever. The button delay to make a simple pass is pathetic but ping a 50 yard through ball, no issues at all. I have seen some goals scored for and against that are absolutely pathetic.     And yet PES 2020 is a massive leap! Wow! The animations are exquisite, the passing feels better than ever, and the few issues on pitch PES 2019 had, have been resolved. The physical contact is more realistic as well. The graphics.. incrementally better in every aspect. Not only is    PES 2019 was close to perfect.     Based on Demo version:
    Great graphics.
    The most annoying thing is whistling for every contact. Every little contact between 2 players are fouls and referee stops the game for nothing and ridiculously every foul can cause yellow or red card.

    Fix the passing system. remake it. When i click pas button th player passes sometimes 3 seconds after. 3 seconds is very important in this kind of games.

    Excelente jugabilidad, graficos, me gustan las Narraciones en español Argentina, gestionar tu equipo en LM o Myclub, el único pero no poder crearte a ti mismo como entrenador. Genial la representación de jugadores equipos y estadios. El mejor simulación de futbol

    The 2020 edition is the most realistic virtual football I have ever encountered. After learning the gameplay’s basics you get a lot of fun and each passing hour makes it even better. Shame that after finishing the career, checking out the multiplayer and playing a few exhibition matches there is nothing left to do here. [12/2019, p.64]
