    I wanted to give a nine or a ten but I did not because I see improvement on the following points: - how the referees judge violations - more press conferences in the Master League - myclub - there is always something to improve.

    Best PES game to date, very realistic and enjoyable. Deserves a higher score from reviewers to be honest. This game cant be compared to a garbage repetitive game as FIFA 20

    This was my first time buying PES and it's actually great, fast paced, makes you feel like your impacting the game. The ultimate team in this game actually rewards you and has lots of options. The graphics are great and cool new leagues and teams(Brazil and Russia). Euro update will be coming later. Only issue I have is the passing sometimes although I love how the passing feels sometimesThis was my first time buying PES and it's actually great, fast paced, makes you feel like your impacting the game.     Finalmente a Konami parece ter entrado nos trilhos.

    PES pela primeira vez em mais de uma década me faz me sentir bem ao jogar um jogo da franquia. Nunca fui fã da série, mas atualmente é louvável a impressionante a evolução em relação ao rival de mercado que afunda cada vez mais na hipocrisia da EA Games

    The demo didn't tell the whole story, this is quite a big update for a game that usually is about incremental change. The first difference you notice is the scaling back of the pressing, now you must use it much more intelligently otherwise you will give away fouls. The passing has been given more variation and the ball has more weight to it with more spin.     I like the game very much.

    But I don't understand why didn't improve the UI until now. We got a new home screen. That's all. It's not enough. How many year need to you can do it? Unbelievable. This is maybe the "only thing" what you be improve. This is a huge mistake again, because the game is almost perfect witch some edits.     El gameplay se siente más fresco y mejor desde hace años no sentía que un juego de fútbol se sientiese tan bien. Para mi sin necesidad de excesivas licencias y sobresitos, no necesita nada más que un buen gameplay, muy por encima del de FIFA.

    I don't have PES20, just giving it a 10 because I bought Fifa 20 and it's the same game from the last two versions. EA seriously deserves to lose all the customers they have. They should apologize for that.

    Bought both fifa20 and pes2020. FIFA20 is arcade game. PES2020 is simulator (feels like real soccer). PES2020 is much BETTER THAN FIFA2020

    PES 2020 me fez voltar aos tempos antigos, lembrando muito o PES 2013 onde me divertia bastante, e esse sentimento voltou ao jogar PES 2020, a Konami acertou em cheio nesse novo game

Licensing. But that’s a small gripe. This is a decent football sim you know. Commentary is a bit to be desired, not Tyler and Smith but it’s still very repetitive and occasional boring. Graphics are ok, not FIFA, but still pretty decent. Gameplay is very good. Master League is where is this game excels. But not wanting to drag this review on anymore, it ain’t FIFA but while I wait for that game this will do for the time being. A very good playable football game. FIFA though will come out on top.… Expand

    Good: Superb game play. Feels right, feels like real football.
    Bad: MyClub needs to be reworked entirely. New things like daily objects, season pass, TRANSFER MARKET, best rewards, etc.
    Ugly: I don't like the idea to defend by just pressing A. Defense needs to be more manual, more interactive. It was a good mechanic 8 years ago, now we need more.

    Controls are not explained very well and nearly every team has 90+ players. Servers are poor also. Free kicks are easy to concede but difficult to execute. Like FIFA it's pay to win.

    Best soccer game ive ever played, graphics ar phenomenal. It has to improve in the future the liberty of some movements, but it is a proper football game. Hope they could continue on this way.

    KONAMI has refined the Fox engine over the last 7 years and this game is the culmination. The gameplay just feels SO good, and realistically mimics a real football game. There are a couple of issues which can break the immersion, such as defenders cluelessly unaware of the situation they're in, but overall this is the best gameplay in any football game I've played. There are a couple of issues which can break the immersion, such as defenders cluelessly unaware of the situation they're in, but overall this is the best gameplay in any football game I've played. The ball physics are insane and every pass, clearance, shot feels fantastic and realistic. You will never score the same goal twice. Scoring worldies is very difficult, but incredibly rewarding if pulled off. There is also a very wide range of animations now to the point where it rivals FIFA, and even beats it in some regards (GK animations for example). Overall I have very few complaints with the gameplay.

    The lack of licenses and game modes also doesn't bother me personally, since I mostly play Master League (which is addictive as always), and can use an option file to get the correct teams, badges and kits in around 10 minutes.

    If you're comparing MyClub to FIFA's ultimate team though, there isn't a comparison. PES's offering is much more limited though KONAMI is much more generous with its coins so it's easier to build a solid squad and play online. Likewise my criticism of both modes in PES and FIFA is that they are essentially pay-to-win and you will mostly be lining up against Messi-Ronaldo-Mbappe every game.

    The graphics are superb, and although the same level of matchday presentation isn't present as in FIFA, the faces look much better and generally a higher proportion of the players in the game have their faces scanned compared to FIFA, where most of the scanned players are from the Premier League or La Liga. Fans of the Turkish, or Italian league for example, can enjoy a much more realistic experience with PES thanks to the real faces, despite the lower production value in the cutscenes.    … Expand

    Pes 2020 is by far better than fifa at this point, pes has great graphics, and the ball moves like a real life game ball, also the new clubs are a great catch. Plus if you want all the real clubs all you have to do is install the option files, and then you have all the clubs.

    One of the best soccer games in this series. Konami has shown it can be better than EA. However fanboys still stick to the FIFA. I was a FIFA player before but I'm not a fanboy! ;) ...

    O ultimo PES que eu havia jogado foi o 2016, após isso só joguei FIFA, mas a EA só vinha cagando no jogo. Decidi ir de PES esse ano e não me arrependi, o campeonato brasileiro está muito bom, em relação as ligas não licenciadas, um option file resolve.

    Before PES 2020, I only played FIFA, but I'm tired of the fact that year after year, the developers of FIFA hack and release almost the same game.. I tried the game from Konami and I really liked it, I still play it. I was particularly pleased with the thorough approach to my favorite team Bayern Munich. Thank you for allowing patches to be used)

    Degelijk spel dat alle jaren beter aan het worden is.
    Nu de licenties nog kunnen betalen en het is volledig in orde.
    Hopelijk een fantastische uitgifte tegen de tijd dat ik naar het rusthuis ga.

    El juego esta genial lo mires por donde lo mires lo único que falla para mí, es que en ser una leyenda si te creas un jugador, puede que te metan en un equipo medio grande y te puedes pasar la temporada en el banquillo, esto lo tendrían que poner de otra forma aunque no fuera tan realista

The future of PES is bright and very succesfull....We would like more options for fullmanual players... I'l give a 9+ score...

    Finalmente chegou um concorrente decente para acabar com o monopólio lixo da EA Games com o ''FIFA'', curti o jogo, é bem realista e muito bacana de se jogar com amigos. Só gostaria que tivessem mais clubes licenciados e mais organização no menu, porém se tu és fã de futebol, compre e desfrute que esse jogo é muito bom.

    2_graphic is fantastic!
    3_in the license konami was good but not so good .they do not have a bundesliga license but why they do the same thing they done to laliga?

So why is not everybody playing PES rather than FIFA. The UI / UX is really not what I would call state of the art even FIFA ist better here. While FIFA lacks good gameplay, this one lacks everything outside the actual game. And talking about the licenses , lets not even go there. Lets all assume you guys are gonna chip-in and buy the license file from one of the good folks, gathering the whole data for us.… Expand

    Been playing PES for 15 years. I can honestly say this one is the best overall. There are still some minor problems with the game however, the series is on the right direction.

    This game turned be back onto Fútbol games after many years of skipping out on the same Fifa games year after year. I'm glad I bought the Legends Edition which included Ronaldinho (at 39, but still a Legend)

Objectives can also be given by the players based on replies to those cutscenes. This alone I feel made the Master League mode come in huge leaps and bounds, compared to the previous PES Games.     Leider hat die Konkurenz mehr Modi mehr Lizenzen
    und ne größere Community... Deswegen wird das Spiel
    immer "ausgelacht". Ganz nüchtern betrachtet
    ist PES insgesamt das besser Spiel .
    Bessere Grafik, Ballphysik und generell das komplette
    Gameplay. Eventuell sollte man es mal porbieren statt immer
    darüber zu lachen und es nie probieren...

Although Konami could do much better than this as Fifa is still a better product. Pes is a much better football game.     Honestly the best football game ever made, even if the online servers are dead.

    PES 2020 revolutionized the football games industry, a complete masterpiece of a game, the graphics are amazing and the gameplay is realistic, unlike what we see in the last fifa editions.

    Even thought the game isn't fully licensed, its very easy to update the game using options files.

    The 2020 edition is the most realistic virtual football I have ever encountered. After learning the gameplay’s basics you get a lot of fun and each passing hour makes it even better. Shame that after finishing the career, checking out the multiplayer and playing a few exhibition matches there is nothing left to do here. [12/2019, p.64]
