Pro: Massacre. Grow your resources, money, and army.

Con: NO SPLITSCREEN/2 Player- This was a big NO NO. Huge let down, I rented it assuming it was 2 player bcuz the others did and ended up being disappointed not able to play with my son. Can't choose different soliders for different battles. COMMON! This crap for PS4? Really? That's why I rent before I buy no matter how good a game's rep is.

Another title with a game Dynasty Warriors brand came out, it became part of the already lost count of the many games with that name. The newest member of the Japanese series e eighth over, as the very name shows, but this is perhaps the biggest novelty at this last moment and title of the series.

The game is a classic Beam em up, which in plain English means that you will confront a significant number of opponents, which should erase. Behind the develpment and publication is people from the Japanese studio Omega Force and Koei, who continue to remind us about yourself through this immortal series. 8 whether it will be a lucky number bearing success and glory? You can choose only you - the players.

    Deja vu

The gameplay and story bear a strange feeling of Deja vu. If in fact you have played any of the previous parts, then is not a feeling, but the simple reality. Dynasty Warriors is the latest improved version of that same game, but do not despair.

Anchored in the game story, based on the historical novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" by Luo Guanzhong, tells of a dilapidated Chinese dynasty "Khan" whose power was shaken. From the raging chaos in the country benefit feudal lords of the three dominant kingdoms: Wei, Shu and Wu, who have two choices: to wipe from the face of the earth dynasty once or it restored. Whether you merge all the kingdoms under your flag or power over all as a tyrant, you decide.

For people who are not touched by this title never will describe the game with three simple words: a lot of action, spectacle and much more than that. During most of the time you will fight on a battlefield, fighting for supremacy with your opponents from enemy kingdoms, but a start must choose your character and game mode. The game features over 80 characters from four different factions, among which you can choose.

In recent editions of the game appears a new one: Jin, which can play after scrolling game. As far as game modes, Dynasty Warriors 8 has 4 such: Ambition Mode, Story Mode, Free Mode and Challenge Mode. Despite the difference in names, each of them resembles largely with others, offering more than projected in the roots of the game battles, with little difference in the surrounding environment and mission. The game does not have an open world that we are used to, and is divided into multiple levels.

Each episode presents significant and not so significant battle in Chinese history where you have a specific assignment from your commander. Your goal in each mission is different, as it depends not only on the battle, but the choice of hero. The authors are not glowing with originality in designing your goals, as they most often are: elimination of the opposing general or officer and protect your master. Graphically the game is not very high and this can be seen with the naked eye. Rather than have stressed the visual look of the game, Omega Force decided that more important is the gameplay and fun, which must bear their title.

The levels are really quite simple developed, they are quite clean, which will help you to concentrate on the battle easier. While relaxing by the last fight, navigating to your next task you will encounter a variety of items such as bonuses for speed, double damage, food, restoring your health, weapons and even a bunch of other useful additions. All these things you will find in scattered in the levels: boxes, jugs and of course, most of your kind lifeless enemies. Dynasty Warriors offers fans six degrees of difficulty, which may prove to be quite a challenge for you, if your character is not sufficiently high level.

As I mentioned the game has a system to increase the level of your character, and consequently his health and bands with "anger" and your special force "monsoon" will rise with each Level. Not only you, but your weapons will improve, causing more damage to opponents. You will have quite an extensive arsenal of weapons that you can use in your every battle, but remember that there are important and how strong each. That with which this game will most impress you will not chart, and battles with their dynamics and expression. Just this greatest plus of the game will keep you viewing hours, eager to baste your opponents in even more stunning and brutal way.

Each level you facing hundreds of enemies, waiting to be defeated of you, but any army has generals and officers who may pose a threat. If skillfully avoid their attacks and counter attack at the right time, through the chaotic and furious inflating the keys (which is proven to increase your damage at least x10), then you really have a chance to triumph.

Music layout very well complements generally tense and energetic atmosphere, through its rhythm and speed. It is a mix between rock and metal intertwined with interesting, traditional Chinese melodies. On the other hand the sound of characters and lines and all other units are of very low level. During battles will listen to the constantly repeated inarticulate sounds like "oh", "eminence", "uh", "ah" and occasionally a dialogue between you and any of the other characters, allies or enemies .

It is not only pumping! Must and savvy.

Dynasty Warriors 8 is not expected to revolutionize gaming market, but it is an enjoyable title that will provide at least a few hours of real entertainment. The game and not devoid of problems, the most significant are the numerous bugs, non-optimized engine, terrible camera and the inevitable monotony of the gameplay which even end two DLC-they could not cope. Of course, this does not make it bad, just boring after some time spent on the battlefield. If you want to try something different from Counter Strike and Dota, this is the perfect for playing during in autumn.

choices change depending on if you play good or bad guy.
the creation system is decent don't listen to the guy who is pissed about it.
the graphics are decent don't know why everyone is pissed that graphics are not art and they don't make the game.
The game is a good game to release your frustration on countless foes

    cons:
your sworn siblings they could have done a lot more with this feature maybe give special attacks if they are with you or something.
would really like them to fight in villages maybe give it a change to forts.
if you level your forts up really think they could change the graphics in the game more for said fort.
I miss the imprison capture generals option. All you can do is recruit release or kill them.
fix some of the bugs minor one in the games. i.e. start a defend I wipe the floor with enemy loses the generals and they say I only get a narrow victory

I hate the Ruler AI in the game because I don't know why you would give up your position as king to another person.

Overall the game was great the enjoy with my different strategy you can use to win the game.

This would be a great deal if it was packed with a $4.25 happy meal, but at almost full retail it's a thieving shamburger. [May 2015, p76]

Yet another canny elaboration of what continues to be a deeply beloved series of videogames. [Issue#159, p.108]
