The most underrated game of this generation! The most unique level design of all time, entertaining & brutal, but such realistic plot, and deeper gameplay compare to Human Revolution. I spend more 120 hours in this game and it was my best game experience of all time. I TOTALLY ASKED FOR THIS, 10/10

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was a long awaited sequel to the fantastic Human Revolution. So how did it deliver? Meh.

What I meant by that does not apply to the game side. When you are playing the Mankind Divided this thing feels like a 9/10 product. The sprawling level design of Prague offers every kind of approach to anything you attempt to do.

As somebody who dislikes stealth there is just something so satisfying about the Deus Ex brand of stealth that makes me want to ghost through levels. What helps is the new additions of tools as in the Icarus Dash, TESLA and Overclock, which make you a god compared to anything in the game.

One of my favorite levels in the entire game is the Palisade Property Bank. This is just a part of Prague but it ends up being one of the most memorable experiences in the entire game. A perfect mix of stealth puzzle solving that never feels like it overstays its welcome. And this whole level is optional.

Other than that, the Rucker extraction and London are some of the finest level designs you will find in this game. What also helps is that this game has some of the more interesting side quests, that will take you through a bunch of fantastic optional locations, working fantastically as a showcase for this game.

Where the game lacks is the Main Story. Don't get me wrong, what the game has is great, the issue is what's missing. The game ramps up in how interesting it gets and that it kind of hard cuts without resolving a bunch of stuff. This makes it feel weirdly rushed.

What adds to that feeling, is the general lack of polish. For example, just to make sure, I started a New Game five times just to make sure, but there is a guaranteed crash that happens in the immediate train station cutscene after the tutorial. Other than that, the game randomly crashed on me three more times in my 25 hour playthrough.

Also, while the game technically supports you playing it like Call of Duty, the gunplay feels terrible. If you are firing out of stealth, you won't notice it. But my god once you trip an alarm, reload. Cause if you don't, you will be subjected to some of the most awkward gunplay in gaming.

To top this off, this game features the most garbage microtransactions in the history of gaming. Most of its microtransactions are consumables that can be used once. Not per save, once ever. So if you buy skill points with real money, you can only redeem them on one save and that is it. Same goes for any ammo from the preorder bonuses. Who thought this was a good idea?

In conclusion, this is a 9/10 game that is brought down to a 6/10 by some of the most avoidable problems. Like the finest chocolate cake glazed with diarrhea, you can scrape off the glazing, but there will be times when you get a whiff of feces that seeped into the otherwise perfect cake.

What is Cyberpunk ? What comes to your mind when you hear that word, that term? Blade Runner ? Ghost In The Shell? Matrix? .. ..Johnny Mnemonic? When i first played Human Revolution, the night streets of Detroit were so real, despite the game not being open world, the story was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!! Mankind Divided did Not dissapoint at all. I don't know why the game didnt sell much but i believe ita due to it being for more mature audience, rather than young players. But one thing is a fact, those 2 were incredibly good, top notch. Mankind Divided isn't quite the Deus Ex game of our dreams, but it's a strong step in that direction. There's a high emphasis on choice and experimentation, killer side quests, and dense, detailed levels that are a joy to explore. With momentum pushing towards the next chapter in the story, here's to hoping it won't be another five years before we see Adam Jensen again.

Mankind Divided continues the legacy of its predecessors with a high quality experience on all fronts. It may have an underwhelming ending but nevertheless it provides engaging gameplay with either a stealthy or all-guns blazing approach, it provides a beautiful and detailed Prague and it manages to maturely project the prevalent racists issues of our society to its dystopian world.

Mankind Divided takes all the great ideas from Human Revolution and adds to them, making it just as good as the prior Deus Ex.
