Sep 21, 2016The expansion we've all been waiting for. More content than ever, the cinematic and story are actually good for once, and the new PVP offering is addictive. Haven't done the raid yet but even a bad raid will eat enough hours to make this easily worth the money.

Sep 20, 2016This expansion, with the largest ever light level increase, introduces a very entertaining spin on existing and expanded areas with tons of new upgrade options, a new year three book to fulfill and much more. I can't wait for the new raid...Basically if you ever enjoyed your time with Destiny you are going to want to get this. I threw my wallet at Bungie a long time ago, so should you.

Sep 20, 2016Simply. This DLC makes Destiny the best FPS of the gen. By far.
Nice gameplay, improved graphics, and a lots of contents right now, which can made you play like 500 hours non stop.
Note: Much better with friends. -

May 10, 2017Great Game! Added content to an already amazing start to a 10 year franchise. Story-line is getting better and this has setup Destiny 2 perfectly. With the new Age of Triumph expansion, its an exciting time to be a Destiny player.

Sep 20, 2016Beautiful story, Beautiful looks, and nice lore. Only problem is the line and the fact that I did all of it without gaining much good gear. But that being said. I applaud Bungie for their story telling and music in the expansion.

Sep 21, 2016While this is a small expansion, I am very much so enjoying what has been given to us. The story of Iron Banner is deep with lore and nostalgia even though I have only played since The Taken King. No spoilers, but some of the quests are quite fun. I must say that the score for this expansion is AMAZING.

Dec 22, 2016Great game. Still playing it after 3 years. For me the best coop game ever. The only cons is the price of DLCs.
I am waiting for destiny 2 because this is a good start for this francise.. -

Sep 21, 2016The new campaign is great fun if a little short, and has a better story and soundtrack than anything in the DLC before it.
I see a lot of people complaining about how short the story mission is, but there's a wealth of content that follows.
I drop off Destiny for a long while, but Rise of Iron has dragged me back in. -

Dec 2, 2016The short story removes some points, and the enemies are only a little different from normal Fallen, the fun new artifacts, Supermacy, and a stupendous raid give it a positive score.

Nov 4, 2016Rise of Iron was my favorite expansion of them all. I thought they did a good job telling the story of the Iron Lords, although to short. I'm glad I gave this a chance.

Dec 5, 2016Short story and no real new and fresh content was a bummer. Still Rise of Iron delivers a very satisfying raid, that is both fun and challenging, but not insanely difficult or drowned in complex boss fight mechanics. The quest to getting all of the ornaments for armor is what made the grind somewhat bearable.

Oct 5, 2017Destiny: Rise of Iron is a disappointing send off to a controversial game. Packed with less content than last year's The Taken King, Rise of Iron still costs $45AU on launch.
Rise of Iron contains a volume of content closer to The Dark Below and House of Wolves, then the original Destiny or the fantastic The Taken King. -
Sep 20, 2016Another expansion worth less than 30$. Rise of Iron not only disappoints, but the story is short, meaningless and lifeless. You might as well wait for Destiny 2. The new guns and gameplay is pretty good if you can get past the over hype of this expansion. Destiny has been a colossal project from the beginning and it's clear it is still in construction.

Feb 10, 2017Rise of Iron breathes new life into a game that was starting to get old. This expansion pack is filled with enough new contents and modes to keep players engaged again.

Games Master UKDec 4, 2016There's not a lot here, but it's still worth gearing up your Guardians for. [Dec 2016, p.68]

Dec 1, 2016How much you care about these stories varies, and ultimately depends on how much you’re willing to invest to get there. Like Destiny as a whole, Rise of Iron has moments of legend, sandwiched between repetitive, forgettable tasks.
