    The ending wasn’t the best thing in the world, but the time I spent playing the game gave me a lot of joy, warmth and unity I never thought I’d get and feel from strangers who helped me with their constructions and signs in the game.

El desarrollo de la historia de lo mejor que he jugado , que visión para realizar todo el contenido b , revolución total , no recuerdo cuando fue la última vez que sentí tanta conexión con un juego el cual te sumerge en la historia , tiene buen reto y un modo de juego revolucionario , me encanto. Hideo Kojima ci ha sempre stupiti a livello di qualità e story telling, una trama che a questo giro risulta essere estremamente attuale. Il Decima Engine viene spremuto fino al midollo permettendo di goderci alcuni dei panorami videoludici più incredibili mai visti prima d'ora. Impersoneremo Sam Porter Bridges, un corriere che deve viaggiare vesto Ovest consegnando pacchi contenenti viver, equipaggiamento e quant'altro. Il gameplay risulta fin da subito lento, lentissimo. Avremo poche risorse ed i primi capitoli potrebbero risultare davvero snervanti. Appena riusciremo a prendere dimestichezza con il nostro corriere acquisendo con il passare del tempo più equipaggiamenti per facilitarci il viaggio, il gioco esplode letteralmente diventando una vera e propria droga. La Lore del gioco può essere imparata attraverso dei file estremamente riusciti, la trama risulta essere vera e fuori di cervello. Death Stranding non è assolutamente perfetto, le missioni secondarie risultano alle volte stressanti e poco divertenti. il suo stile non piacerà a molti e con molta probabilità verrà bocciato dalla maggior parte dei videogiocatori di tutto il mondo ma c'è da dire che Kojima è riuscito ancora una volta a creare qualcosa di unico nel mondo del gaming moderno… Expand

    Debo de decir que aun que no es una opinión popular ami si me gusto death strandig me parece que es un muy buen juego tanto así que lo platine ,no es un juego para todos yo lo pude jugar y mas o menos entender como sede por que me gusta mucho metal gear de hecho si jugaste a los primeros de msx o al de play station notaras que hay muchas similitudes que ami me encantaron.     Loved this game and the graphics were stunning. My only complaint is that the combat is off. It doesn't flow naturally. However, I found myself invested in the story and the gameplay otherwise was good.

    Traversal plays a key role in this game and the mechanics that is introduced for it is insane. Walking in this game feels realistic, where we have to balance our weight, take care of our gear and be notable of our surroundings.     That's a fantastic game with a fantastic story and a fantastic gameplay. If you love story oriented, realistic, games that make you think through probelsm and obstacles on your way, that's your game.

    Un juego que a nivel estético sobresale, con buenos gráficos, hermosos paisajes, buen soundtrack, etc.
    Con buen reparto de actores y un muy infravalorado doblaje al español

    I think this game has one of the best stories I have ever seen in any kind of art. If it was only for the story this game would have been a 10/10 but the pacing is very slow at the beginning which is why most players won`t get to finish it. It is sad that a lot of people will never experience this amazing journey. You know this game is good when you suddenly have the desire to take on the time-consuming and laborious task of delivering packages across the various regions, going through snowy mountains and enemy-occupied areas simply to rebuild this fictional post-apocalyptic world and reclaim its loss of humanity. As you start to reach out to more and more settlements and rebuild the links between them, violence and despair are gradually replaced, as a sense of belonging starts to emerge and we are reminded of the importance of caring for one another, and especially so in the post-apocalyptic and broken world of Death Stranding. The game challenges you, forces you to find meaning in the otherwise meaningless and toilsome Sisyphean task of delivering packages between people, and encourages you to care about a world that you might otherwise pay no attention to.

    The gameplay, with its amazing graphics and sound, is a solid 8,5/10

Игра затянута, если бы убрали хотя бы 10 часов, иногда даже скучного геймплея - поставил бы твёрдую 10. Но игра стоит потраченных денег и времени. Концовка стирает сразу все сожаления насчёт затянутости.Мир игры удивителен.     This game is amazing. I enjoyed every minute until the end when trying to get Platinum. Then it gets kinda boring. This is one of my top 5 must play games on PS4. Its a very different experience from your usual game but really will suck you into this world. It might not be for everyone but if you need a change from the normal AAA games then this is what you need. Play on a PS4 pro and onThis game is amazing.     - unique and interesting story with colorful characters
    - gorgeous graphics
    - players can help each other

    Cons:
    - gameplay is repetitive and boring
    - BTs aren't challenging even on hardest difficulty

    I enjoyed the game because of the story. Story was the only thing that made me finish the game. Gameplay was like a chore after a while.

So yes, it is a controversial game, and yes it sometimes gets you to think of the walking simulator joke, but nonetheless, it is, most of all, an experience.     At first, the game is routine and repetitive. You deliver, and deliver, and deliver. Yes, the landscape in which you traverse each mission is comparable to any Icelandic landscape you see in documentaries, so every delivery is an eyegasm. This part of the game is critical. If you decide that you are not into a delivery simulation gameplay you will throw away one of the most immersive and scientifically satisfying stories you can get in a video game (a remark: I'm not saying scientifically accurate).
    After a quarter to a third of the game-run, the routine starts to entangle the complexity of each mission and their relationship with the story of your character and the entire world. Each time you think you are getting the hang of the missions you get surprised by the increasing menaces (and weight) that's expecting you around the corner. Each time you think you understand the explaining behind the whole setting of Death Stranding you are amazed by each data you collect and the NPC share with you, changing your previous understanding (and perhaps, if you are open-minded, your idea of the real-life itself).
    If you are expecting a game based in action, stealth, and character customization (such as previous Hideo Kojima's MGS videogame saga) you will not find it in Death Stranding. Whereas if you are trying to find a revealing game, a "gamechanger", a "different" game, Death Stranding it is (a remark: the previous statement does not mean that the game lacks in action and stealth, it's just that it is not filled with them).
    In conclusion, nowadays there are tons of action-filled games (and good games, such as Horizon, Zelda BoTW, God of War, TLoU), Death Stranding is not one of them. Complex stories, the ones that leave you thinking over and over in the toilet and shower (such as Christopher Nolan's film Interstellar) are the ones we are lacking today, and not everyone are ready for it, less they are ready to play that story in a videogame. Sin embargo, puede considerarse muy larga y no es hasta el último tercio del juego que se entiende con claridad de qué se trata la historia. La jugabilidad es entretenida, pero lo principal que debes hacer es efectuar deliveries, lo que lo torna un tanto aburrido después de jugarlo unas horas. A pesar de ello, los gráficos y cinemáticas están muy bien hechas, lo que es fiel al estilo de Hideo Kojima como director de videojuegos.     DS is an awesome game if its up your ally. Extremely unique and awesome story and gameplay - there is actually nothing like it. Story is a bit complex and makes u use ur mind which i enjoyed. Has an extremely powerful message as well.

    The game is hard to get in to but once you get the grasp of it the game will be amazing. I don't need to talk about the graphics, it's unlike any other game. The story is kinda confusing in the beginning but it is not hard to understand, fighting is pretty fun and you will get a good sense of progression. The story is very good, I like every character, each one has a good background and the plot is very original, very complex story. The visuals are amazing, the world is hugely detailed.     I can totally understand why so many people didn't enjoy this game, and I agree this game isn't for everyone, however, the first hours of the game, until you start the have an understanding of the game, it may feel a little boring but my friends, for my opinion, the entire game succeed to tell a good and very interesting story

    Fascinating world building and joyfully grounded gameplay make for one of the most interesting AAA titles. The ambitious Death Stranding aims for the skies and gives something truly original. Rarely is this much vision and optimism put into a highly expensive work of interactive entertainment. A genuinely important game for the sake of innovation in this medium.

    The gameplay serves the concept and the story perfectly. The story is so emotionally impactful: bittersweet, sometimes uplifting, sometimes grueling, sometimes quirky and fun - just like its characters, interactions, and gameplay.

    I haven't played anything in the past decade that has left such an emotional impact on me, and really, nothing could be improved or changed - nothing could actually get to this to a 10 as a game. And that's actually not a detriment to the game, but rather how we look at games and how we review them.    … Expand

    The visuals are amazing. There were a few times i thought '' this doesn't really look good.. '' Game play is solid, and i enjoy'd my self very much so.     Очень впечатляющая игра. Получил огромное удовольствие от прохождения. The actor's performance is remarkable, we get to see Norman Reedus, Mad Mikkelsen and other actors having their roles in the game and they are pretty good. the game itself has lots of details that you have to be aware off, The game has good soundtracks and it fits perfectly on the game especially Low Roar has the perfect music for Death Stranding. The Narrative keeps on getting interesting and you want to find out more of yourself on what happen to the world and the people around, it makes the game really special and overall the game is the best even the gameplay can be repetitive but it represents art itself because we get a beautiful game with strong narrative, rich lore and cast of characters.     I will tag along with all those that call this game a masterpiece. It is so worth spending 40-50h playing, and you wish it would last longer. The story is very intricate and the characters are so deep and well done, they're realistic.

    Death stranding is a super game. It has a wonderful plot, each order becomes a small switch. Of course, at the beginning the game is so-so, but after a while when weapons and new buildings are opened it becomes one of the best games.

    I personally loved it because many of its mechanics were intrinsically rewarding to me. Long walks with beautiful scenery, a brilliant score scattered throughout the adventure and an inventory management system with a lot of depth made the journey very enjoyable for the full 100 hours it took me to get the platinum. The story is very good, though despite the solid acting and notable cast, the writing could be better and the plot doesn't really begin to click until fairly late into the game. Nevertheless the pay-off is spectacular.

    Most of the time you will be trekking long paths with nothing and no one accompanying you, and the brilliant music starting at just the right time can feel like a hard earned reprieve from the bitter loneliness, like someone has just put their arm around you when you haven't felt human interaction for months on end.

    I don't wholly agree with people branding this a 'walking simulator', but there are elements of simulation which more closely resemble a 'delivery logistics simulator'. If you are into this type of inventory micromanagement and a high degree of choice in how you approach these deliveries, no other game does this better. From choosing gear, equipment, how pieces of cargo are arranged on your back, which route to take, where to strategically take shelter from the corrosive rain, how to best avoid enemies and just how much you can carry from A to B. There is a brilliantly subtle risk/reward aspect to each delivery. Do you attempt to take as much cargo as possible over the shortest distance and risk losing or damaging it when encountering enemies, or do you take the longer route and bring sufficient gear to craft shelters along the way, meaning that you can carry less cargo?

    The progression is also fantastic, while some portions of the game can feel like a grind especially if going for all the trophies or achievements, this grind is rewarded with cosmetic items, and levelling up all the facilities unlocks aspects of the game intended to make it easier, like vehicles, equipment or materials that can be used to construct structures and roads. By the end of the game, it becomes less of a walking sim and more like you have successfuly built a delivery company from the ground up, your success entirely attributable to the hard work you have put in to get to this place.

    I encourage everyone to give this game a try, it's not only unlike anything else you will likely ever play, but on the off chance that any of what I've just described resonates with you, will provide an unforgettable experience.    … Expand

It certainly has flaws, but I think If you have the patience for it, it’s a really cool experience that left me with some great memories. I completely understand why some people may hate it, but for me, I thought it was really cool. And god damn that soundtrack is amazing.

The gameplay and the story's goals is pretty simple; Deliver packages between different stations in a dystopian future of America in order to reconnect the country. The gameplay has little to no variation in this regard. ThisDeath Stranding is a game you cannot simply recommend to anyone. It's a game with moments of triumphant euphoria and others with dreadfully boring tasks in the way. The gameplay and the story's goals is pretty simple; Deliver packages between different stations in a dystopian future of America in order to reconnect the country. The gameplay has little to no variation in this regard. This results in tedious pacing in different spots, most notably in the beginning hours after the prologue. After TEN HOURS the gameplay decides to innovate and introduce new mechanics, but that hurdle beforehand can put off many players. That's not to say those first ten hours are entirely horrible; Consistently beautiful landscapes consist within this world, which are a sight to behold, stretching for miles and miles and almost all of it is availabe for the player to reach. Once those ten hours are passed, the gameplay becomes more interesting, introducing road building and new vehicles, which make traversal easier, and in this world it really helps to have them. The lands of Death Stranding are inhabitaded with harsh environments and dangerous enemies, stretching from terrorists trying to steal your cargo to BTs (Beached Things) that ruin your day by harming your packages and making the player face off giant beasts. However, BTs ends up being less scary, since the player most of the time gets a chance to run away and not be punished in any way for their actions. Action scenes also feel awkward, because the jumping feels weird to say the least and aiming doesn't feel accurate and sharp. Where the gameplay shines is in the traversal and exploration. The fun comes from overcoming obstacles in the open world with the technology at your disposal. Death Stranding introduces a new mechanic in online structures from other people's constructions appearing in your game. This can help you overcome large mountains and giant chasms with no problem. The same way their structures can spawn in your world, yours can appear in theirs, and it ends up working as a collaborative project to traverse the environment through roads, vehicles and ziplines. It's obvious a huge production has worked on this game, and that is most prevalent in the games story. Performances across the board are terrific, from Norman Reedus as Sam to Léa Seydoux as Fragile to Troy Baker as Higgs to Mads Mikkelsen as Cliff, everyone including previously mentioned actors do a great job at their work. The characters, however, aren't all fully developed. While some characters like Die-Hardman (Tommie Earl Jenkins) and Heartman (Nicholas Winding Refn, Darren Jacobs) are rather developed, other characters like Fragile, Higgs, Mama (Margaret Qually) and Sam, the main character, are missing the depth needed to get us truly invested in their well-being, and the things we learn about them aren't fully explained or developed. The actors' charisma saves the characters from being hollow beings of nothing. The most interesting character is Cliff, and that's because his character consists of mystery and intrigue for big parts of the plot and slowly the player learns information about him, making him a satisfying character to learn of. Some characters were just lacking in this department. The thing that made the story also interesting is the situations the plot moved in and the last five hours at such a good pace with incredible writing that it makes you wish the rest of the story could be as consistently entertaining, instead of being a mixed bag. Those last five hours include amazing cinematics grabbing one's attention and investing the player in the scenarios and asking huge questions about humanity and hope in the face of world ending odds. I still understand how this can be a divisive game. It can be a breath of fresh air in a industry of corporal choke holds with its relaxing gameplay or it can be a tedious experience of simplistic mission and horribly paced gameplay. I would say that it falls somewhere in between those two categories. This game falls down to taste. It's neither objectively good nor objectively bad. In the end, only you can decide for yourself whether the game is enjoyable or not. In either case, it's an interesting testament to what is capable of video games and how its industry can be pushed to new genres and ideas.… Expand

    Loved the story simply amazing, complex enough for the ones who have 0 spiritual knowledge to give a bad review saying that the story makes no sense. The only thing i didn't like much was the physics of the vehicles on the terrain. This is fortunately the kind of game that when you see a gameplay trailer you don't need to see the "specialist" opinion.     I actually really like the gameplay in this game. Anyone calling it a walking simulator unironically is lost. But the standout of this game is the story for me. I love Mads and he killed it, so did the other actors. The world is super interesting, and the characters backstorys are top tier.

    I really enjoyed the game, I love the soundtrack and how lonely one feels in those beautiful landscapes traveling around the United States.

    This game is a masterpiece in every aspect, story, gameplay, graphics and e.t, playing the first hours maybe is a little hard but after chapter 2 the real map and game begins and game starts to show itself. please don't listen to negative comments about it, this game is a masterpiece and deserves higher score.

    The start of the game is slow awful and boring. Once you get past this though, the story really opens and provides evolving gameplay. The gameplay is unorthodox to say the least. It is a nice change of pace and is a nice platform for the story the game is trying to give. I am happy I beat the game and got to see where the story was going.     This is one of the most diversive games. It's surely is not for everyone. But it is epic! Amazing story, gameplay is chasing from stealth to now action (plus stealth+action on other parts) after Chapter 4, a lot of twist, great character development! Combine these with the amazing graphics and soundtrack and you have one of the best games of this generation!

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
